also one of my favorite things that happened before the eclipseduo “interrogation” btw was when bbh first initially brought up the idea of interrogating forever, cellbit got worried and started typing up a whisper to forever. it seems like he was in the middle of asking him like “what happened with badboyhalo? what did you do with him?” type of question. and before he could even finish typing, bbh started talking about restaurants and flowers and candles and cellbit just slowly deleted the whisper as he realized what was going on and how funny he was about make this by enabling bbh

so bbh, sam, and antfrost are fairly high ranking gems with their own colony that they oversee. bad being more aristochratic, sam dealing in construction, and ant in security/military(skeppy is either bads pearl or his spinel idk i think both are pretty funny) thats the badlands btw and the egg is. i havent really figured it out but i think its a weird like. white diamond mind control thing but from this weird organic eggg thinggg and also its kind of like an externally caused corruption? idk. it's weird. working on it.

fist we get morning crew going on a rescue mission to save mike but he’s all traumatised and weird

then the ICONIC cryptic messages in chat saying he’s gonna kill ramon. then mike going on a tangent saying he doesn’t trust fit and he’s gonna kill the eggs and fit shouldn’t talk to pac because mike knows what he did (is it lore ? is he just crazy ? we will never know and i wouldn’t have it any other way). mind you this is all taking place in front of a strip club btw.

then phil arrives and he’s like what the fuck is going on and then FOOLISH arrives and he’s like thats crazy anyway dapper made me a guillotine once maybe this could fix mike. sadly this doesn’t fix him but foolish is like you know what could help ? cocaine.

and kelp DID help so now mike is a different kind of crazy he can hear the universe and smell colors. good for him.

everything is back to normal (as normal as it can be anyway) so time for mike to go back to the infirmary and have a good night sleep. sleep doesn’t come that easy tho but thankfully bbh is here to save the day and drop anvils on his head.

Dude the moment those three are in the Order, with Q!Forever locked up and Q!BBH and Q!Philza helping Q!Cellbit to locked up Q!Pac too, and they starting to talk with each other I just knew they would make a great RP

Q!Pac was SO afraid of everything and didn't want to be alone ans sad anymore, and Q!Cellbit going to him and saying with so much confidence that he was never going to be alone again because he was there? Knowing their past? I got chills!

And Q!Cellbit saying that it was thanks to Q!Pac that they got an antidote? And Q!Pac voice was so broken and so unbelieving, as he was so surprised that he really was able to make an antidote and did it, and helped Q!Cellbit to save Q!Forever (As Q!Cellbit said "Esse é meu queridinho!!")

And dude! Q!Forever? The way he was suffering, the way he screamed and cursed at Q!Cellbit, fully believing that it was Cucurucho and saying he was going to explode everything if he didn't give back his son and the other eggs! And just breaking down and answering Q!Cellbit (wich btw, did really well on trying to take answers from Q!Forever before giving the antidote to him), and then saying that the eggs runned away? Because there is something MORE dangerous than the Codes and the Federation! I was so shocked by that, because in a way, he was able to take from Cucurucho what happend to the eggs and from that they can trace a plan to find the eggs.

Oh my God I fucking knew that those motherfuckers would make me cry, but damn it, it was so good!

it's not a lot but from what i've seen it's mostly the typical hate on bbh and tubbo once again.

some people are upset because they think putting a pause on getting revenge for ros means people will stop feeling as strongly about it making it easier for bad to weasel his way out of taking responsibility or being killed himself (imo the amount of responsibility bad holds for that is debatable anyway but that's a whole other thing)

and they're mad at tubbo for interrupting lore with meta (although idk why they decided the other factions could choose to dissolve red without talking to tubbo and jonnaay out of character first, that shouldn't have been live improve imo) and also for his quip about ros being back soon. they think he's invalidating her character or rushing her story somehow even though that comment made a lot of sense in character for someone who's been reset more than once.

honestly the best part of the whole meeting was everyone's reactions to pili's latest death. he really saw the funniest option and jumped at it immediately lmao.

Something I think people are missing when they talk about the whole Day 12 thing with Tubbo and Bad is that Tubbo is just like that sometimes, especially with people he’s close to. Depending on how you look at it that's not necessarily better or worse, but I think it’s an important factor because so much of the recent BBH Purgatory discussion is about how he’s singled out and that’s something Tubbo would do to anyone. He’ll get a minor irritation stuck in his head just as hard as a major problem and then refuse to let it go. The amount of ranting he does isn’t always an accurate measure of how important it is to him and “I’m still on this” (or any variation) is practically his catchphrase. I’m not trying to downplay in-character analysis, it’s a trait of both streamer and character, but it’s something you might not realize if you don’t watch Tubbo very often.

Yeah, this is also a part of it. Tubbo is very passionate about things, and sometimes those things are minor grudges that he gets stuck on for no good reason just because it’s fun for him to get annoyed at them and rant. But this is more of a cc! part of things than in character one (tho all of Tubbo’s characters also have this trait more or less).

For me, I really think it’s because Tubbo is very frustrated with the Day 12 itself, and out of everything that went wrong Bad dying is the only concrete moment he can single out. Because Quackity dying doesn’t really count in lore because he wasn’t there really (which is such bullshit btw, this is my Day 12 Roman Empire, Quackity’s death SHOULDN’T have influenced the percentage) and anyone else wasn’t there either to do the quests, for objective irl reason, so q!Tubbo also can’t really be mad at them and also who would he be mad with out of everyone on the team absent? All of them? Choose a specific person?

Meanwhile Bad was there and he died after doing something Tubbo told him not to (note: this is neutral, I am not discussing right now the moment itself and how justified Bad going in was). So it’s a concrete thing that he can blame on the percentage loss without it being meta or ‘why are you mad at me and not the others who did the same’. And it was really hard emotionally day for him, the combination of cc!Tubbo (well, q!Tubbo too but for the sake of the point we will count it as more of a cc! trait) being very competitive and q!Tubbo genuinely believing that Soulfire is cursed and that they absolutely must win this day to tie (I am pretty sure he believed it was the last day that counts? But I might be wrong) or (later) to win the Purgatory and save all the Eggs (which was his one and only goal truly, he was really clear about not straying from it even when it felt that a lot of characters forgot what it’s all for). So he singled Bad out and concentrated on it as the sole reason they lost Day 12, seething.

Now, for cc!Tubbo it’s mostly a bit, even if he acts genuinely ’not over this’, he is just having fun. And q!Tubbo may still have this grudge, but overall it does not outweigh his newfound comradery with Bad and respect for him. But q!Tubbo is also very much a Negative Nancy, he LOVES to just rant about stuff that ‘annoys’ him and get on his friends nerves. Like he find a thing and just keeps pushing it (ex: Bagi’s ‘incest’ tendencies, everything concerning Fitpac, Phil’s age and a lot of other stuff, Foolish and ‘you made it awkward now’, etc) and Day 12 is his thing for Bad along with cursing/inappropriate jokes.

Do I think it’s fair to q!Bad? When /srs – no; when /lh – yes, because it’s funny. Do I think it can count as an example of how people keep blaming Bad for everything about Purgatory? Yes. Do I think it’s actually the same as with other characters? Not at all.

All the other prominent negative after-Purgatory characterizations of Bad are concentrated on him being a bloodthirsty monster that terrorized everyone (only partially true and definitely not unique to his character). Meanwhile Tubbo never really talked about Bad being a ‘monster’ in Purgatory (afterwards) in any negative light as far as I remember, it was always very neutral. Or at least not blaming him for it. His grudge is a completely my teammate did a dumb thing so I will forever remind him it. Which tho still unfair is not hypocritical when what other characters do.

Obviously this is just my take on the situation, everyone can perceive it a bit differently, especially because I am writing this as a Tubbo main, so my view on things is skewed towards him.

Alright-y time for my thoughts on DAY 1 of the TWO-WEEK LONG PURGATORY EVENT

First off, while I did kinda assume things would become chaotic pretty quickly, I did NOT think it would be this quickly and I REALLY didn't think that PHIL'S team of all people would lose it first. Like it kinda makes sense with Jaiden, Foolish, and Slime there, but damn, everyone there just kinda went crazy like immediately huh??

I'm not at all surprised that BBH was the first one to start killing, and I'm not surprised that Tubbo got in on it too. (Nor that he wasn't that great at it most of the time lol)

And I gotta say it kinda SUCKED watching Etoiles and Fit, Phil's two closest allies thus far, just immediately kill him upon finding him. Like damn guys that was COLD.

And while I did like the overall event today, I do kinda hope it isn't like this the WHOLE time. I don't just wanna see them all immediately going for blood, I wanna see the problem-solvers solve the problems. Start trying to figure out who the Cursed Team is, what the deal with this place is, and what they can do to make sure that as many eggs as possible survive this. (I'm going to make a post about that pretty much right after this btw)

Overall I am REALLY excited to see where this event goes. I'm hoping it doesn't permanently tear apart all the teams and friendships we've seen built for about six months now. (I don't actually see that definitely happening, but let's be real, someone might go for that angst)

All the description of the void is GORGEOUS, it reminds me to a webtoon I read some time ago and in a certain scene a character was basically in the void and the only way I can described in drawings is like that webtoon, but in words, definitely like Isa did so ,10/10 to description.

I really like those hc of immortals, like bbh cubito and foolish cubito BUT with phil cubito I think is different, in some way I do think he is older than them, like, if them have seen centuries, phil has seen the world ends a thounsand times, the depression of seen everyone dies. My point is, he's always hopeless, he doesn't feel he's enough, even if he's the fucking angel of death. I mean, EK is scary but if he would've been more calm, probably the things never woukd've end up like this.

Just. Cellbit was a lost and forgotten kid himself. He was a kid that grew up in a war that never had someone who would stay and love him, he had BBH but that was for one game. He grew up and had to turn into cannibalism to survive, he then got left on the streets when he became too much of a monster to be kept in the games

He then got locked up and forgotten again, lying to survive, grasping into any hint of love he could get and trying to get it from Pac e Mike, who betrayed him (with motive btw) and left him to die. He would have died on that island if Felps hadn't shown up and gave him a second chance. He would have died just like Myo did

And then he heals and learns to love and learns he deserves to be loved and he has a family and people that care. And then he reads Myo's diary. And then he weeps for a kid he can understand as if he saw himself there

this is one of the most complex clips ive seen in a while from this server. and its all because of a change in character.

bagi and cellbit finding out they're twins seemed to unlock something in cellbit that had been hidden since he escaped from prison. hes been slowly leaning into the mindset he held during the war ever since the eggs disappeared but now hes /actively/ thinking about that time in his life because of bagis pressure. hes regressed back to how he used to be. the kid he was when he would chop and eat people to survive. the kid who slowly grew addicted to the rush and the taste until it was all he knew how to do. that same kid that bad knew. thats ultimately why he trusts him so much. bad has not said a word about how cellbit used to be, and cellbit is both ashamed and trusting. ashamed because he used to be like that, thats how he spent under a decade of his life and only one person knew it. and of course trusting because/only one person knew./ i also think that at a subconscious level cellbit confessed this all to bad because he used to see him as a father figure. hell, cellbit was 13 and bbh was hundreds of years older, there is no doubt in my mind that bad was a place of comfort and a place free of judgement for that cellbit. but he also confessed because he wanted the comfort he had gotten those years ago. cellbit was surviving everyday in a crazy new environment with only bad to guide him through it and hold his hand. thats why he tells him. because he's scared they'll go back there and needs bad again. needs bad to trust him with his life again. but thats not what happens. well, in someways it is. but bad can't comfort him. because he isn't any more sane. they've both lost their minds and bad wether he wants to or not enables cellbit in a certainly dangerous way. they're both dead set on their goals. they both know what the have to do. they've both done this before. they're listening to the same song, but one of them is blasting out their eardrums. they get each other. and they'll stay with each other. and no one else can take them out of this scary fucking mindset

tldr; both q!cellbit and q!bbh are fucked up and they enable each other. not to mention the cycles gonna be damn hard to break.
