Lucien Flavius becoming a role model for any would-be heroes, especially those who are more traditionally "nerdy" and feel insecure about their "weakness". He also shows that academics do have an important role in adventures, especially because his notes are by and large what are studied in the future in regard to the db.

engineers, for generations, mumbling the formula called 'Remiel's Constant' under their breaths as they develop machinery, because it's such a foundational discovery on Remiel's part for a new age of engineering

in contrast, future alchemists agonizing over Xelzaz' thousands of alchemical discoveries a night before their finals, bemoaning why he was so diligent in cranking out formula after formula because now they have so much to memorize

historians and casual history buffs alike locked in discourse on whether or not the last prince of the Thalmor actually colluded with the Dragonborn in the Second Great War to help bring down the Dominion, with vaguely-worded correspondence for evidence

adaptations of the tale where every single follower is at least someone's 'blorbo'

the ballad of Inigo the Brave being a cultural touchstone for Khajiit rep and spawning Tamriel's version of the rogue, underdog hero archetype. even when it's a totally fictional work, if the protagonist (or charming side character) is weirdly charismatic, roguishly handsome, and with a heart of gold, chances are the creator was inspired by Inigo's legacy.

the massive misunderstandings of the dragonborn's original history. Thanks to anti-Thalmor sentiments long after the Second Great War, Nebarra was deemed as a traitor figure to the Dragonborn, but this sentiment was overturned centuries after uncovering contemporaries' journal entries on their friendship

when you ask someone who they think Sir Kaidan was to the dragonborn, there's an equal chance of them firmly believing he was their lover, platonic best friend, or loyal but professional lieutenant. they will have reams of evidence to back it up, no matter which stance they take.

many who have felt that they never perfectly fit into the demands of their faith or community, not just bosmer, resonating with Auri's story. realizing that while they may be an outlier in their own eyes, they can still do a lot of good in the world, and that has to count for something.

common sayings based on (real or not) stories of the followers. if a place is crowded, it's common to joke, "guess the dragonborn's in town."

Ivy Embra with Inkblade, anyone?

the original ask here requested for ivy and inkblade hcs and my brain has finally delivered !

After the events of Junior Year, redeemed!Oisin has definitely gotten closer with Adaine

“close” is actually a vague term because their senior year rivalry has taken them to in-class arguments, trying to one up each other to see who’s the better wizard (and graduate top of the class).

even to after-school study sessions where they develop spells (and constantly bicker about how to gesture this somatic component / what material to use / how to word the spell properly)

its a whole thing in itself and at this point both their parties have elected to drown them out whenever they see these two together

so bickering isn’t all that new of a sight… what’s new is that they have also elected to start fucking Sparring

just simulating fights with each other. no rules no holding back pure raw power out on the field until one of them surrenders (no dying was a strict rule)

its a great way for Adaine to vent her frustrations on him

and its great to build Oisin’s practical ability for fighting

it was after one of their sparring session that Adaine had told Oisin how she wanted to try a new weapon

“What weapon?” Oisin asks.

“A gun.” Adaine says passively.

Oisin, internally, is terrified.

“Oh.” he says instead.

Adaine laments about how no one in her team even has the proficiency to teach her how to do that. Riz, sure, but the rogue already has a lot on his plate and Adaine did not want to bother him just to teach her how to shoot and use a gun

Oisin knows someone who does though. And she’s not at all busy with anything.

Well, maybe not proficient with a gun, but Ivy Embra was an amazing shot.

She is an Arcane Archer and that has to stand for something.

And though the mechanics of a bow and a gun are vastly different, Ivy takes up the offer of training Adiane to shoot.

Ivy, surprisingly, is a patient instructor. Very hands on and practical.

“Control your breathing, Oracle. It’s about the intent.”

And Adaine was a natural for shooting, once she got the hang of it. She had a lot of Intent to channel after all.

Ivy on the other hand, is impressed to have a new toy to play with (a gun). She likes the sleekness of the gun, how easy it was to keep on her at all times.

She still prefers the bow though.

Oisin is half glad that they’re getting along

Yet also equal parts terrified that They’re Learning How To Use a Gun ? Together ?

Oisin sees a world where this whole ordeal backfires on him

And the two elven girls constantly remind him of it (teasingly for Ivy but with Adaine? you never really know).

This idea literally came to me in the clutches of writing and maybe I will write this HC to reality one day. Maybe not. Who knows but I think it’s lovely that they both bond over terrifying the blue scaled dragonborn a whole foot taller than them.

got anymore blitzbee hc or aus?

Well, there is many thing i can incorporate BlitzBee into- and i do, it's my main ship and OTP.

Warframe!Bumblebee, Civil!Blitzwing and Cons Are Good AUs are the ones specifically for BlitzBee.

Part-Insecticon!Bee can also be BlitzBee. Crack AU also cna have osme romance going on. Cyberbeast AU is also a BlitzBee possibility.

I cna give you some stuff relating to either one of those of just plain on non-AU timeline i have.

Blitz loves to sculpt figurines of Bee, he especially enjoys carving out the little horns and eyes on the figurine and giving it that innocent yet divilish look. Of course, he always keeps that smirk on his faceplate when he's sculpting his aft or alt-mode's undercarriage.

Bee will never admit but he wants to be squished by Blitzwing. He's into it more than he likes but he just cannot deny the satisfacition and comfort and maybe pleasure of being pressed against his berth while Blitz lays on top of him full weight. This is the best type of cuddle they discovered so far.

In Part-Insecticon!Bee AU, Blitz helped Bee with therapy to regain control over his broken wings- he'd rub his back and massage some places if he was sore after therapy. Bee was ashamed of having his wings out like that, Blitzwing had very impressive and strong wings, he almost felt unworthy of showing what little he had to offer in return. He voiced it at some point when Blitz noticed he was sad and told him he'd love him no matter what and that wings or not don't matter. He didn't need them to make Blitz swoon for him and it won't change.

Warframe!Bee AU, Bee will defo sing viking-like songs be it from games or not. He likes to sing Skyrim's Dragonborn song when he's forging. Blitzwing will occasionally join him and they'll have fun, although Blitz can't sing for slag. He and Bee will also dance a lot- Be it slow dancing, normal boogie-woogie moving or a couple's dance. They love to dance to "For The Dancing And The Dreaming".

Whenever Optimus bakes something for the group. Bee makes sure he hides some of the treats to give to Blitzwing later. Blitz doesn't have access to any treats or fancy food except oil and some 'natural' rust sticks found in the scrap yard, so he loves when his hummel brings him something different to eat.

BlitzBee loves kisses, it's a human custom but a very enjoyable one. As one would assume they have their own version of french kiss, where Blitz would switch to his black face and shove his wormy glossa down Bee's intake. (Lucky Bee doesn't have a gag reflex cuz he ate whatever he found in trash as a Sparkling) Sometimes when Blitz is annoyed and rants about stuff Bee will leave a trail of kisses on his cheek before kissing him on the derma, which usually ends up in a make-out session and makes Blitz forget he was even upset.

Bee is very crafty, so if Blitzwing makes him figurines and sculptures of stuff ya know he's gonna return the favor. He takes broken glass, some scraps and wires and makes pretty little flowers out of them. He could even pull off stained glass picture if he really tried.

CUDDLES. Just that. They do it all the time. Literally the moment they see each other- instant hugs and cuddles. If Blitz is part of Autobot team, it's cuddles 24/7. He will not let go of Bee unless Bee really wants to. Blitz will hold Bee hostage in their berth when he wakes up at crack of dawn and make him wait for Blitz to wake up around 10. If he was repulsed to touch due to trauma before, now he can't let go.

Blitz will never tell his hummel he talks in his recharge. He'd be trying to fall into recharge himself when he hears murmurs coming from his beloved. It's so amusing, he will talk to him and actually get semi-coherent answers. He loves that if he hums, Bee will also start humming. It's like a midnight radio that he can interact with til he falls into recharge. It's also surprising cuz it apparently works to keep the nightmares away from Bee. If Bee starts to sound panicked Blitz would comfort him and he'll go back to resting peacefully.

-He gets really restless when he's left home alone for too long so he moves the furniture around a lot. The poor ldb always has to come home to find it completely rearranged.

-He gives phenomenal massages. He found it's a nice way to relax everyone on team dragonborn after hard battles. Obviously, he makes the ldb's extra special... and in private 👀

-He's really picky about ingredients, so he started growing his own vegetables and he got really into it. Now he uses weird techniques like singing to the fruit and sleeping in the cabbage patch.

-Out of all the parents in the neighborhood he's the designated cool dad™️. He always has the best snacks and games, and sometimes he lets them look at the ldb's artifacts. The other parents just can't compete.

Lucien Flavius as a he/him transwoman is a hc that has a deathgrip on my brain rn.

I keep imagining him bringing team dragonborn with him to the imperial city and dragging them to an academic party. Then going approximately 10000% overboard on getting himself a fancy gown and spending at least an hour on his hair for a full debut to his peers and then spend a further 10 mins just swooshing his skirt.

Just,,, Lucien being super enthusiastic about being a woman, whether people are weird about his pronouns and presentation or not.

Also keep imagining his parents going “ok we have a daughter, not a son. AND he came back from Skyrim knowing hella new things! We love our daughter.” because they adore him, no matter what.

i just feel like we constantly miss how fucking weird the main specialists would be to the rest of the school!! first, you have sky and brandon, lying duo of the year. then this random nerd that gets super buff within a year. then the angriest man they've ever met who betrays his team for witches then befriends them Again. then add on the headmaster's grandson and it's like?? hello??

the specialists get into so much trouble and everyone just looks at goody two shoes helia like,, are you sure about that bro. they canonically fight in the hallways and during training and during presentations. and they sneak out to go to some fairy party and get roped into cleaning the school. AND no one knows if they're actually friends like people probably have bets on them 😭?? and helia's over here like "yeah they're cute :)"

Hc: Miraak has a huge crush on the LDB but doesn’t know how to convey his feelings and is just super awkward with romance in general

okay LOOOONG post time because I love last the dragonborn/first dragonborn shit OKAY. Very long post because god dammit, I ramble too much. This might sound like a toddler wrote it.

Miraak literally hasn’t seen another human being in 4,000 years, he probably loses his shit when the feeling of just being attracted to someone punches him in the face. 

He’s just chilling on a giant book in Apocrypha, dipping his toes in the ink water or something and planing how exactly he’s going to kill the Dragonborn to the very detail. Then they actually arrive in Apocrypha, and the very fibers of their souls are screaming out to each-other like “same hat!”, and it feels like every inch of himself is burning on the inside, while the outside remains blandly mild in the stale humid air of Apocrypha.

But he’s a strong minded man, so he swallows it down and continues on with his edgy monologue. He tells the Dragonborn he must kill them, but he can hardly bare hearing the words come from his own mouth as they’re paralyzed on the ground right in front of him. He can practically taste the power radiating off them, layers and layers of dragon souls woven together and wrapped around their own soul, the very soul he knew the in’s and out’s of despite not knowing a thing about the person that it belonged to. 

And THEN the poor man’s brain is like “oh no they’re hot” and he's dealing with emotions and thoughts that he hasn’t had since before the first era. He can’t even remember the faces of anyone he used to know, or whether or not he liked looking at them. All he knows is that he’s seeing a face that looks so foreign but feels so familiar, and he does like looking at it, and he doesn’t know why he does. All he knows is that the dragon soul inside of him is thrashing within it’s flesh prison, desperate to be as close as possible to it’s only match. 

Dragons by nature, are not empathetic or familial creatures. They can be, as such is the case with Paarthurnax, but it is not an instinct they have embedded in them like mortals do. Miraak is a human, cursed to the same raw feelings as any other would be. Dragon souls vibrate with each other on a level that human souls do not. A dragon can always feel another dragon. 

That sense of automatic familiarity paired with the inherent human desire for love and belonging? Paired together they do not bode well for a man trying to kill the only other living being in the universe who understands him. The only one. Every dov is a piece of Akatosh, all siblings in a special way, but no dragon will ever think, feel, and care the same way humans do. He could never find solace in the company of a dragon. 

Now that their souls have had a glimpse of each other, every moment he spends thinking of killing them sends the dragon inside of him wreathing in agony and distress, something dovah are not accustomed to feeling. Before he realizes it, he’s going out of his way to appear in spectral form in front of them to absorb the souls of their kills. He finds himself speaking to them, lingering for a few moments longer than necessary, invigorated just by the feeling of being near  them in an intangible spectral form.

He tries to convince himself that all these odd things he’s feeling are just his inner dovah aching for the power of absorbing their soul. He tells himself that after he kills them, it will all go away, and he’ll be able to finally tear free from Apocrypha. (hes dumb forgive him its been a while)

He has no need to show off, all he needs is to get the job done and over with as quickly as possible. And yet, he casts Dragon Aspect on himself without even realizing it, dancing around them in combat and stalling, using the Thu’um when he doesn’t even need to. He doesn’t realize that his actions mimic a dragon’s, bringing as much focus on themselves when they want to appear boastful and magnificent, rare moments of civility and friendly indulgence where they bask in each other’s vanity and challenge each other in friendly competition. 

The dragon companions he keeps with him in Apocrypha are very confused as to why he’s technically doing the dragon equivalent of flirting when he’s supposed to be killing them and reaping their power. Humans are so weird amirite?

If the Dragonborn spares him and finds a way to free him from Apocrypha and team up with him, he would not be able to properly address or recognize his feelings for a long time. It’s not until he’s grown accustomed to seeing couples hold each other close in the cold and whisper sweet things to each other, or heard a few sappy love songs/poems from bards that it starts to dawn on him. And when it does, he’s distressed because he remembers next to nothing about what it means to care for someone. Even in his time as a Dragon Priest under Alduin’s rule, he didn’t get to indulge in petty things like love and affection. His role was a full time commitment. Of course he had seen people courting each other outside of just having children, but he had never experienced that himself. 

He’d show his affections in very strange ways, because he isn’t quite sure how to say it, and he’s still in partial denial of it all. It would be borderline annoying and obsessive things, like insisting on healing all of the LDB’s wounds even when they’re perfectly capable of doing it themselves, or needlessly jumping in front of them during battles with dragons because he gets over-protective without realizing it. It gets to the point where the LDB has to pull him aside like ”bro what the fuck is your problem it’s getting exhausting” and then cue the cheesy awkward and dramatic fanfiction love admission trope. 

also do u like, know how INSANE it would be to the rest of Tamriel if TWO Dragonborns of legend teamed up, let alone got married or something? They would probably be two of the most important and powerful people alive. Especially with all the forbidden knowledge Miraak had obtained over the few millennia he spent in Apocrypha. Like, I’m serious. If they defeated Alduin together and saved the world? They would probably be worshiped. They would almost be Talos level of worshiped, eventually. 

also just like imagine if they took power over the Empire. Like, a Dragonborn emperor and Dragonborn (whatever your ldb idenitifes as, empress/emperor/sovereign/etc) and maybe secured a new ‘Dragonborn’ bloodline/heired family. And the LDB would have Odahviing and Parrturnax on their side. Just imagine the power they’d have. 

I’ve been meaning to write a fic about that for a long time actually. I’ll get to it soon I swear.

I keep meaning to draw this but never get around to it so!!! Modern Zelda AU where HW is an elaborate series of DnD games. (a lot of this is just random modern au hcs lol)

They're all college or grad school age so 18-24 and go to the same school/live in the same city if they're not studying

(for instance Ghirahim dropped out but it's cool he got a modeling contract at the same place Midna works)

Lana is the DM, she's great at it. She got Link, Proxi, Zelda, and Impa to join her party and they're the core group. Midna and Fi also frequent sessions.

Ruto, Darunia (who's older and a professor not a student), Agitha, Ravio etc. come and go for oneshots

Cia, Lana's sister, is the DM for the other team made up of Volga (had no choice), Wizzro (also had no choice), Zant (forced into playing), Ghirahim (surprisingly, willingly), and Ganondorf (also willingly). Cia is a terrible DM and Gan takes over eventually

Ghirahim, however, considers it beneath him to actually learn the rules. He only plays as dark elf sorcerers and refuses to try anything else

Fi made her own homebrew class/race combo of sword spirit and tried to get Ghirahim to join her but he called her a nerd

Volga sticks to dragonborns of course

Volga and Wizzro quit when Gan took over and there's a whole bunch of drama about it

Sometimes they all join to make one large party and it's hell

Gan, Link, and Zelda have a side game but they don't tell anyone about it

Link has a shit ton of cousins and they're all the other Links. yes they are all named Link it's a family name. HW is THE Link to his friend group and the rest go by nicknames, but his cousins call him a nickname as well (Hyrule)

Linkle is Link's twin but she's not into DnD, she just likes making OP Mary Sue type characters

Link and Linkle are adopted but still look a lot like the rest of their family

(other non canon games are also adopted)

Various Links (i.e. all the alt costumes) visit. Wild sometimes joins their DnD group but he's got his own back in his home town (the champions)

There is only one Zelda who is also Sheik but Tetra and Hylia are separate people. Hylia is Zelda's mom and Tetra and Hilda are her cousins

Fi and Ghirahim are siblings

Midna and Zant are cousins

Zelda/Sheik and Impa are girlfriends. Zelda is genderfluid they/she girl/agender but is okay with fem language

Fi and Midna have crushes on each other but there's nothing there yet

Midna and Ruto are exes

Zant is in love with Gan but it's weird to the point of obsession and extremely unrequited

Cia thought she had the biggest crush on Link but that was her choosing the hot guy at school and decided she had a crush on him but she's a lesbian and ends up with Linkle instead

Ghirahim is a whore and has dated/hooked up with (including but not limited to) Zant, Volga, Gan, 2 different Links, and Cia before they both knew they were gay

Link (HW) and Ghirahim HATE each other they are bitter exes that cannot be in the same room

He did not know Link and Sky were cousins. "oh great my ex's cousin is my other ex fml"

Link also has a long list of exes but they were mostly amicable relationships. Ghirahim makes enemies

I wanted the sword

So we had just wasted 30 minutes trying to sneak around a dragon illusion with Me (Tabaxi Monk, TM) flirting with it as a distraction before it just disappeared. The team who kept failing stealth rolls all excitedly ran in and continuing the quest for the missing adventures until they came to a fork in the path. To find out which way we roll perceptions. Aaracora Paladin and Dragonborn Warlock nat 1, Teifling Rogue/Ranger a 10, Kenku Fighter, 18 with High Elf Cleric and I rolling 22.

DM: Well despite what you feel and baving to constantly guide everyone but your kenku. you notice a notch off to the right entrance.

HC: I put my finger in the notch

DM: Its actually able to fit your fist. You find something you can grab and pull.

HC: So I do.

DM: A Door opens and inside is a large pile of say... A LOT of gold. and a well polish Silver Longsword.

HC: I want the sword! I can use longswords so its fine!

DM: Are you sure?

Our group: Just leave it.

AP: its not important. the gold would be nice, but we dont need it. Lets go.

KF: Is there anyway we can see if its-

HC: Nah! I want the sword. I enter the room.

DM: Well. you cant move, youre struggling to breathe a little and... *Rolls some dice* take 14 points of acid damage. Come on dude that was such an obvious trap!

Everyone: *groans*

After struggling to figure out how to get her out of the quickly revealed gelatinous slime and telling the party its an "Oo-ey gooey Acid smile boy" we put in potions to heal her.

TR: That was a waste of time.

AP: Dude, Seriously dont be doing that again.

HC: But swords!

It did! Buttt I’ve got a few more ideas so I’m gonna answer this one too.

Science Team as D&D Species EXCEPT nobody can be Human, Elf, Dwarf, or Halfling because no offense but I get tired of those and I’m gonna spice it up

Gordon- Dragonborn, Bronze Ancestory and can spit lightning (Joshua is a Copper Dragonborn and can spit acid).

Benrey- Kenku who’s heard enough to speak common pretty well but can and will mimic noises he hears around him as well (I.E. Heard an explosion once and now can mimic it at any time)

Tommy- Protector Aasimar, can sometimes transform himself and have WINGS

Bubby- Fire Genasi who uses ‘Produce Flame’ a bit too much

Coomer- Triton, a funky lil fish man who is eager to explore the surface world

Darnold- Taxabi who’s very curious and is on a mission to collect and study ancient artifacts

Forzen- Warforged created near the end of a Great War and now has no idea what to do now

G-Man- If not a celestial being, would make an interesting Vedalken who’s lived for a very long time
