Why Priya like bully her dads? ;0;
Poor Luci, he must be suffering so much because his daughter doesn't like him as much as he would like.
The poor guy must think that being a father is not for him (first he misses part of his eldest daughter's life -we don't know exactly how much- and their relationship becomes somewhat tense and, now, his youngest daughter seems to enjoy his suffering)
they're trying, chat

Would you all have any interest in learning about my dearly beloved Hazbin Character? I was thinking of making a simple character sheet for him!
You could even send in requests for little y/n/character comics with him! Any support would be wonderful!
a/n: I am also working on an Alastor x Gn! Reader so keep an eye out!

Edit 2/12/2024: I wanted to add a disclaimer to my redesigns! I really appreciate all of the likes and comments that these have garnered, but I just want to add that these aren't intended to be "improvements" or "fixes" of the original designs in any way and were done as a character design exercise for my own entertainment. Looking back on them there's a lot I'd like to change about them and I'd never claim to be anything more than an amateur/hobbyist character design messing around with these character concepts.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another redesign for fun, this time of Adam. Elaboration below.
(edit: This redesign was made before the show aired, and after seeing Adam's canon design in action I think his design fits his character well and is actually one of my favorite in the series! This redesign was just done as an exercise.)
More of him here!
The most confusing thing to me about the Exorcist's designs is how un-angelic they look. While working on this redesign I had the thought that maybe they're supposed to be fallen angels and thus it'd make sense for them to have a more demonic appearance, but this isn't confirmed. I think the design will grow on me, but I wanted my redesign of Adam to have a "holier" looking design to contrast with the rest of the cast.
I definitely wanted to remove the horns, but I thought they gave him an interesting silhouette, so I tried to think of a compromise. Eventually I remembered the existence of these really interesting helmets worn by medieval Teutonic knights.
With this helmet it makes it look like he has both horns and wings on his head and gives him an interesting silhouette. The helmet would be fully emotable like his current one.
Edit: I further modified the helmet so it almost forms a full circle and the halo is placed in the center so it resembles a giant eye.
The rest of his outfit is similarly inspired by both a crusader's uniform and a priest's cassock. The emblem on his uniform is based on the canon symbol he has and the Eye of Providence.
Unmasked, I wanted to stick with the whole "rockstar" thing and give him a wild look that suggests he might not be as holy as he presents himself to be, opening the door for a nuanced interpretation of the angels like the show seems to intend.
His blue palette makes him a nice visual foil for the rest of the cast, especially Lucifer.
In terms of physique he has a stocky build with broad arms. I imagine him as on the taller side.
Thank you for reading!
I'm not 100% on this design, I feel like it should be a bit more stylized, so I may redo it eventually.
The rest of my redesigns are here.

Radioapple could be better
Back in the old days radioapple was my fan favorite crack ship . How the times change
Before we got our official depiction of Lucifer as we have now, I imagined him to be condescending, sly, manipulative character who would go on to be Alastor’s foil. Now, the only thing of that remains is that he is Alastor’s foil but the subversion of the sexy and powerful Lucifer of pop culture into sad-awkward dad Lucifer is amazing and I’ve grown really fond of it.
But for how popular it is now, there’s still a big itch that fan content for radioapple (or maybe just Lucifer) fails to scratch for me. This isn’t an issue I have that’s exclusive to Lucifer either, I nearly lost my mind about it in Tv series Lucifer(2016) too.
it’s the fact that there’s barely anyone seems to depict Lucifer’s sheer knowledge. If we are going by the finale, 10,000 years ago is when Lucifer first fell. He is at least 10,000 years old.
10,000 years to learn from the millions of stories (in passing and directly) who have fallen into hell. The wars, the disasters, the movements, the people!!! Age does not equate to wisdom, but you cannot live that long and fail to pick up a certain degree of separation from petty grievances of people who have lived only a fraction of the time you have. That’s doesn’t mean you’re immune to doing irrational things or having childish flaws, but those should coexist with the sheer weight of your knowledge. There should be a certain novelty that an immortal feels in being grounded around very young people who treat them like they are human. Because the knowledge and experience that comes with being immortal can be very dehumanizing, and that is especially so for a figure who has been maybe the most demonized in myth and religion ever.
Give me a Lucifer who knows thousands of different writings, religions, traditions, languages. Give me a Lucifer who contemplates the cruelty of some of the most infamous sinners in real life that have fallen into hell. Give me a Lucifer who becomes lost in ancient levels of nostalgia—his halcyon days with Lilith when humanity began to rear up and he was still hopeful.
Give me an Alastor who, beyond his resentment and ego, is deathly curious how Lucifer works. As a kid who likely went to church every Sunday and listened to pastors caution against the devil so many times his ears may fall off, to meet the guy himself? To meet the entity whom the entirety of the god fearing south wanted to scare him to sleep with? To finally meet the dealmaker of dealmakers?
Give me a late night conversation between the two where they discuss the what alastor has heard about Lucifer topside, Lucifer’s genuine curiosity of Alastor’s morality as a human, and the overall smallness of their existences in the largeness of their myths.

Alastor's facial expression journey as he says: "Almost makes one sentimental."
Interesting details:
-The old radio effect on his voice clears up significantly as he says the words "almost makes."
-The use of "one" as the subject of his sentence instead of "me."
-Closing his eyes. Alastor decidedly does not look at this group of people while saying this line in particular, despite gazing fondly at them at the start.
-Shaking his head. Alastor shakes his head a total of three times as he says the word "sentimental." Shaking one's head side-to-side is considered the universal gesture for no.
-This entire moment happens in just over 2 seconds. (Not all frames of the animation are shown here) It's very blink-and-you'll-miss-it.
Of course I have my ideas as to what this could mean. However, attempting to truly prove anything via reading body language in fiction and/or real life is always a lost cause, given that it's pseudoscience and you can never know anything for sure with that information alone. So these are guesses based on what his body language may be suggesting given what we know of his personality, his history with the hotel gang, and the given context of this scene.
I can say this with confidence, though: I think something stirred in him here, and we're very lucky as the audience to have witnessed it.
Everyone during this "last night alive" scene is, in some way, acting with the idea that some or all of them will be dead the next morning. So there's a good chance for emotional provocation. It seems like not even Alastor is immune to it. Has he had these thoughts about getting attached to the group for an amount of time before this scene? Did it hit him right then and there? There's no way to tell. But either way, I think physically talking about it out loud can be a way for him to control it. He can acknowledge that the idea and possibility is there and real, but at the same time insist that it won't apply to him, even though it could.
And yet, it seems he can't look directly at them while acknowledging this hypothetical sentiment. Sometimes we as humans avert our eyes or shut them completely from things that cause discomfort. He also can't quite commit to saying "Almost makes me sentimental. / I admit, I could get accustomed..." and instead puts the burden of this scenario on "one," or, a person just in general. That's interesting. And shaking his head could mean a lot of different things: Is it to release tension? Is it him unconsciously emphasizing the "almost" in his statement, like saying almost, but not quite? Or in that same vein, trying to literally shake the idea of becoming sentimental off of his mind? Multiple of these? Who knows.
As for his voice becoming clearer... When asked during a Q and A if Alastor loses the static in his voice when he's being more honest/genuine, Medrano answered: "That's something I can't reveal. Obviously, that's a big tell." I guess the answer will come with time :)
With all that being said, I don't think these feelings he may be having here are that significant to him. At the end of the day, he's still egocentric as ever and, more than anything, wants his freedom from his deal and to be "pulling all the strings." Friendship with this group is simply a low priority or petty distraction to him at best, and something that could actively get in the way of these goals at worst. If anything, this scene served to plant a seed and provide crucial context for both the ambiguity of his feelings toward the hotel gang in general and for his verse in the song Finale - as well as provide setup for the next few seasons. Either way, it looks like he doesn't want to become attached to them and won't let himself, either.
IF there is sentiment present, this moment here is his attempt to nip it in the bud. Only time will tell whether he was successful or not.
