I really went into Hazbin Hotel expecting to get incredibly attached to the main cast, and I am! I'm very much so attached!

But also I desperately need more Carmilla and Zestial content??? I've had Whatever it Takes and Respectless on loop, I definitely enjoy the Overlords interacting most!

So, is anyone else incredibly curious about what Zestial suggested was the rumor going around about Alastor?

To quote him, he said: "Some hath spun wild tales of you falling to... holy arms."

And Alastor reply is (I'm skipping the first part) "It's fun to keep everyone on their toes"

I want to preface this by saying it probably means people had guessed that Alastor had been killed during an extermination but alastors reaction to Zestial (including later when he prods about the hotel) makes me wonder why Alastor was gone for years.

It's total possible he's genuine about the hotel being only a form of amusement, but I also think it might later be revealed that alastor has need of this to work for some reason. A person he wants to see from heaven?

It doesn't necessarily have to be positive. Maybe he wants to kill some person in particular that he hasn't been able to get to. He seems to take great interest in the information regarding the dead angel. And his reaction to Zestial is... weird. Not one hundred percent in character. Maybe that's cause he's more powerful, but I dunno, because Alastor is pretty hard to shake.

I feel like the chances of an emotional bond he's concerned with is pretty low, but there's always the possibility he took interest in Charlie's project because there's someone in heaven he wants dead. In the pilot he said he'd lost his inspiration. Maybe that's why he went radio silent. And now the possibility to achieve whatever goal involves heaven is at least in orbit now.

Anyway this scene just really intrigued me.

Zestial's singing voice!!!

Just going to say it:

Angel's BDSM idea was a good one! It teaches important lessons: consent, understanding boundaries (something Charlie sucks at), emotional support, and, as he immediately pointed out, trust.

I'm lowkey disappointed that the episode didn't pivot to being about letting other people contribute when they have thoughts/ideas, even if they don't fit your original vision.
