How about Vermilion and Hawk? I've always liked Vermilion and I've only seen like maybe two people draw Hawk (which is understandable)

we truly don't appreciate how good scarlet was when it came to names. pyrite being named after something that's known as fool's gold? ingenious. just the name peril? very badass. vermilion being a shade of red like scarlet? ruby also being a shade of red?? ruby also being a gemstone, which is what tourmaline is??? literally so iconic.

He uses she/he pronouns (but prefers the latter, he likes the masculine sound of it)

Fun fact - he's a fugitive! He's running from the skywing kingdom for a murder. (More about that at a later date)

Second fun fact - he and seaglass are together! They both are currently hiding out on a (soon not to be) secluded island in the bay of a thousand scales.

A Hivewing (or Bugwing if your me) OC named Tarantula Hawk. He is a Hivewing who somehow ended up on (the other continent I can’t spell) as an egg or very young dragonet and raised by a gay Sandwing couple. He is part of the “alternate dragonets AU”, as a sort of default “will they, won’t they” love interest for Bigshadow, but who knows if she has any feelings for him to start with.

Making wof ocs is a slippery slope because i started with just one, my beloved mary sue son Grimborne, and then i was like “okay hes a skywing/nightwing hybrid, which parent was what so i know where he grew up?” And then i made Hawk and Doomspeaker respectively and then had to give THEM stories and how they met and they ended up being really cute.

Then i was listening to more of the story (all the above was made when i was like only on book 3) and THEN i had the idea of an animus Icewing named Frostbite (ball of anxiety that one) and THEN i heard winter turning and learned about the whole “no animus icewings” thing and reworked HIM to be an icewing/seawing hybrid and THEN had to make *his* parents Iceberg and Seal

Anyways I now have 6 wof ocs

Fugitive, running from the sky kingdom. Murdered his noble father after he threatened to kill his seawing lover. Jasper reasoned that he needed to keep his family safe, but just wanted to save and uphold his own image. Hawk doesn't regret it as he did it to keep Seaglass safe.

Hiding out in the bay of a thousand scales on a remote island. It reminds him of home in a way. Other than the smell of salt water. Loves the life as he gets to be with his girlfriend

Is VERY paranoid he'll be found any moment, he's willing to fight to the death for his and Seaglass's new life.

Plucked the feathers on his wrists due to anxiety, does the same with his other feathers. Has a mix of feathers and scales.

Loves when his feathers get stroked by Seaglass, it grounds him.

Sends secret messages to his mother, he misses her dearly.

Got his scars by his father before he killed him. He hates them. It reminds him of that night.

Misses is father, even though the male dragon was a selfish monster. Remembers when he was a sweet and caring dragon. Tries to block out the bad with the good.

Hi everyone! Eman (@eman-kha) has asked me to write a post because she is really worried about her mother. Her mother is suffering from high blood pressure and heart problems, but the essential medical treatment she needs is currently unavailable in Gaza.

Eman's father was killed in Israel's 2014 aggression on Gaza. She does not want to lose both parents. But now her mother's health is rapidly declining due to a lack of proper treatment. Her mother is bedridden and really, really ill. And the harsh conditions of living in a tent and facing frequent bombings is worsening her mother's condition.

Eman is only 17 years old and dreams of becoming a doctor. She is still a student but she did not even manage to graduate high school due to this genocide. Now, instead of studying get into the competitive medical program like she had planned to, she is worried that she might lose her mother.

Eman is raising funds so that she can evacuate her mother out of Gaza and get her the treatment she needs the very moment the opportunity presents itself. But Eman has received few donations and they haven't even secure the evacuation fee for one person, let alone the money for the treatment! Please help them!
