Loki was Odin's assassin. Meant to remain unseen and unheard. Requires traits deemed disreputable in Asgard. Getting his hands dirty to polish Asgard's gilded veneer through "necessary evils".

Thor was Odin's champion. Reframing Asgard's crimes as glory. Reframing Asgard's imperialism as necessary. Thor embodies Asgard's ideals and as its champion is walking propaganda.

f/os who are figures of authority who are meant to stay as neutral as possible but clearly have a soft spot for you. Bonus if you're coworkers or working toward some other common goal alongside them (DOUBLE bonus if you're enemies or rivals). They try to treat everyone fairly, or otherwise try to focus on the goals at hand, but clearly have a bias for you and seem to know more about you than anyone else. If they have the power to do so, maybe they try to learn everything about you with their connections (whether it be manpower or technology -- either way they are snooping). They don't want you to distract them or be in their way, but they also can't imagine relinquishing their clear admiration for you. (alternatively, if the f/o is a villain, imagine them vowing to destroy you for getting in their way but they ultimately fall in love with you and choose to spare you 😇)

apparently anya opening up about the lab is living rent free in my head. and i was thinking, there's no way a child could escape something like that on her own, especially if she was one of the lab's main experiments. and i imagine the lab itself is of high security, experimenting on children is something that the public probably wouldn't want to know.

this may be far fetched, but hear me out: one of the scientists gets attached to anya, can't bear to see her in pain etc, so they go against their orders and help her escape. probably run and carry her out of the building past the guards and stuff, giving her a higher chance of a successful escape.

they drop her off at the orphanage knowing it's not safe to have her around, if they kept anya and the guards found both of them, the guards would kill the rogue scientist and take anya back to the lab.

Camera turns back to show the teen's face which is expressionless and yet communicates all it needs to.
