Thinking about this post about "preschool mode" and just imagining a version of a Shen Yuan who had been a preschool teacher before he transmigrated, and keeps habitually approaching all of his disciples and some of his fellow peak lords like that.

Everyone knows that Wriothesley is practically one of the most influential people in the entirety of Fontaine, and he has to kneel for no one. Few people are important enough to warrant such a thing from someone of his rank, after all.

So imagine your surprise one sweet spring day as you take a lakeside walk with him on the surface, hand in hand, only to pause when you feel his hand slip from yours and hear his steps slow behind you. You turn, wondering if he's alright, only to find Wriothesley on one knee, a shy smile on his face and a dazzling ring in hand, the question of a lifetime together on his lips. His smile is nervous, just on the verge of shy as he kneels, asking if you'd do him the honor of having him as your husband.

Because hardly anyone is important enough to bring the duke of Meropide to his knees, but no one is as important as you.

Me discoursing about Dylan Lenivy’s depiction in fanfic: he is not a child, he’s a grown-ass man. Yeah, he gets scared when something is trying to eat him and his friends, but he’s far from helpless, even with one hand. He’s not perfect and he can be mean and stubborn and make jokes at terribly inopportune times. He deserves to be a fully fleshed out character like that! Portraying him like he’s some kind of perfect uwu bbgurl/continuously sobbing perma-victim does his character a huge disservice and is almost certainly informed by an insidious culture of homophobia and ableism.

Me when I play the game and Dylan comes on screen: oh my god looooook. It is ✨HIM.✨ The boy ever. An actual baby. My literal son. My perfect child. I will go to fucking war to protect you.

If an object is stolen, how many times does it have to change hands legitimately before it is not considered stolen goods anymore?

Case in point: Brendan Slocumb's The Violin Conspiracy. If a slave had stolen a violin from his ex-master, and given it to his daughter, who gave it to her daughter, who gave it to her son, does it still belong to the master's descendant?

I feel like there's a certain point at which it's got to be viable, but that Nazi art theft blurs that line rather.
