question!

making a fanfiction about Regulus (as one does) however, it follows him throughout the years, absolutely HATING the Ministry (which is run by Voldemort; he became a dictator) and how he struggles with a whole ton of guilt.

His motivation to continue living (he is very depressed) is that he needs to avenge Sirius, who was killed because Voldemort outlawed having non-pureblood idealist beliefs. Regulus lets his need for vengeance sort of consume him, which leads to him making extremely rash decisions, hurting the people he cares about, and just ruining his life.

Overall, Regulus is very morally grey throughout the fic and does mostly everything through selfish reasons he's disguised as selfless.

It's set in the 90s kind of. As I previously stated, it goes through his whole life. Sort of a weird swap fic?? Regulus takes the place of Sirius in a lot of ways. Reg is the Godfather of Luna and eventually meets the Golden Trio. He's also a very high-ranking ministry member due to... unethical means.

ANYWAY, here comes the question.

Since this fic is very dependent on world-building (and also very very angsty) would any of you read it? Also, technically, it is a sequel to the "information fic" which is how Voldemort came to power.

So would you read it?

Columbo and the Knight (1984)

put me in the universe where Columbo ran through the 1980s and had a crossover episode with Knight Rider. I think they deserved it, and I am not just saying that because they're my two favorite Old Shows. @telebeast wrote a little fanfic blurb about it and I HAD to visualize it into a comic (which is also the longest comic I have finished thus far at five pages...), so writing credit goes to them.

steddie au where eddie thinks they're just hooking up because steve never treats him like all his previous girlfriends, but steve thinks they're dating and the relationship is only different because it's Gay. he's just trying to follow eddie's lead without making a fool of himself (he keeps buying gifts and flowers then shoving them into the back of his closet because he doesn't want eddie to think he's "treating him like a girl")

If Aaron and Katelyn's love story was ever told from Katelyn's POV, I feel like it would follow so many YA romance tropes. Like the bad boy with an attitude problem who keeps pushing you away? It's because he has a tragic backstory and a strained relationship with his brother. He's occasionally extremely violent? Okay well he's also the sweetest and most caring boy in the world and like honestly he's just really misunderstood. You guys can see each other, but it needs to be a secret relationship. He's a jock, but like, he's not like other jocks. Also the mafia is involved somehow.

The biggest difference is that she never felt like she had to fix him (and he never had to fix her either) and for that I stan this couple so much.

Fox gets kidnapped once. It's because he's the Commander of the Guard and he actually knows a lot about the Chancellor and the wildly different security measures on Coruscant, because at this point, he's kinda responsible for them all. All in one package.

Expect the kidnappers use some sort of tranquliaser or other drug on him, and Fox, who has not eaten for 23 hours and has not slept for at least four times as long, drops like a fucking fly that has been zapped.

Cody gets there with the rest of the 212th after a while and proceeds to beat the shit out of all the kidnappers. Fox has no idea any of this is happening. He's having the best fucking sleep he's gotten in months.
