Hello, February!

(And yes, I have watched Beanie Mania and am currently reading The Great Beanie Baby Bubble!)

In 1996-1997 I was in third grade. I don't know how it was orchestrated, but one day a bunch of us girls started bringing in our American Girl dolls to school with us. They'd sit on our desk or with us on our chairs. Soon though it was (rightfully) decided that because everyone didn't have American Girl dolls, we couldn't bring them in anymore. So, the class started bringing in their Beanie Babies. Because EVERYONE had Beanie Babies, so it was fair. My favorite was Bones, the light brown coated, chocolate brown ear'd puppy. My friends and I even made friendship bracelets to put around our respective Beanies' necks as "collars". I still have Bones, with his "collar", in a keepsake box. And yes, this practice was eventually discontinued because it was labeled "a distraction". I can't tell you how much comfort it brought me as an 8/9 year old to have my little bean bag toy laying on my Space Maker pencil box, there to cuddle if I needed it.

So I've made a book bujo and the first page of course has to be dedicated to Of A Linear Circle by @deadcatwithaflamethrower (im including some fics too obv) bc it is simply my favourite thing I have ever read, one of my comfort fics, so so amazing, and I've read through it 5 times since I discovered it last year haha. If you like Harry Potter, founders era shenanigans, slytherin redemption, and just all around amazing writing? Then please go check it out i can't recommend it enough!!! (And yes the page isn't fully completed, the series is still ongoing so I still have room to add stuff lol)
