“-ha ha, dog joke, hilarious,” Harry’s tone was utterly humorless. He stood up and started to feel out his magic. He knew it was a waste of time, if Blaise didn’t get his blood then someone else would, but he wouldn’t give it up without a fight. Anyway, he was always in the mood to kick some death eater ass. 

“See, I thought that was going in another direction entirely,” Barty observed. He sounded a little on edge, nervous about what he couldn’t stop. It was comforting but otherwise useless. 

Hilde seemed to be in the same position, her voice thoughtful, “Harry does seem the type.”

“Wait- what the fuck does that mean?!” Harry exclaimed, forgetting for a moment that he needed to prepare for violence. He had no idea what Hilde and Barty were alluding to and he couldn’t decide if it was an insult or not.

“They mean that you’re a pathetic, submissive piece of shit,” Blaise said. He glared at Harry and Harry glared right back. At that moment they had one thing in common; they couldn’t wait to draw blood.

i don't think people understand how hard it is not to ship tomarry / harrymort because what do you mean they're borderline canonically soulmates. what do you mean they're PROPHESIED to each other. what do you mean they're literal parallels, had the same childhood circumstances but turned out the exact opposite. what do you mean harry's the embodiment of the light side and tom's the embodiment of the dark even though they're so, so similar. what do you mean they both have common names even though they themselves are anything but common. what do you mean they have uncountable amount of bible references that apply strictly to them, what do you mean harry makes sure to mention tom's the handsomest in the room whenever he sees him and apparently likes their connection. what do you mean their wands share the core of the same phoenix and therefore literally can't kill each other even if they wanted to. what do you mean harry wanted to give him another chance despite everything he's done, what do you mean tom offered him his hand, what do you mean harry killed tom at the same age except the order of the numbers is reversed. what do you mean harry's eyes are the same colour as tom's favourite unforgivable (avada) AND the colour of his house, what do you mean TOM'S eyes are the colour of harry's favourite defence spell (expelliarmus) and the colour of his house. WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY ARE EACH OTHER'S OTHER HALF. WHAT DO YOU MEAN HARRY IS LITERALLY TOM'S SOUL??? 😭

I have been sooo busy this month, therefore it is just a portrait study this month :') I am working on another really awesome art project, which has completely nothing to do with my Sirius works. However, the other project might help me to live off my artsy stuff one day. Perhaps. 🥲 (and it is also really fun!) This time I tried to paint a more dangerous, angry looking Sirius. I also recognized I am painting him slightly too young (in my opinion), so I also tried to fix that.^^

cant believe jkr created a prison that forces you to relive all of your worst memories, put a fairly major character in that prison for twelve years without a trial, and then just... didnt make it a commentary on the justice system OR the prison system. just like "lol thats a quirky thing that happened just for plot reasons, no bearing on reality tho"
