Drarry Fic Idea (curse artefact x senses)

This idea won’t leave my mind but I can’t write a full fic so please take this and run guys!!

Harry and Draco are Aurors partners (better if it’s already been a while)

Their next case consist of a retrieval of a cursed artefact

It’s not known what the curse is yet but it’s highly sought after and have been passed from dark mages to dark mages so they know it’s highly dangerous

They got hold of the location but so did others and as things tend to go when Harry is involved, it’s turned into a full battle between them and other dark mages after it

Curses, counter curses fly around and Draco and Harry are quite a formidable pair but someone managed to snag the artefact, muttered some arcane chants and a bolt shoots out to Harry

Draco jumps in the way and took the curse

He’s sent flying back and passes out

Harry loses it and obliterates the rest

Artefact is recovered and Draco is sent to St Mungo

Draco wakes after a day seemingly without any major injuries

It threw him off a little at first because he woke up at St Mungo’s a couple of times before and something seems missing. He can’t quite put his finger on it yet.

Another day passes, and he notes the porridge is quite tasteless but doesn’t think much of it.

Until he realised everything has been bland the whole day. He tried eating a sugar cube and it tasted like nothing.

He tries to chuck it aside to probably a flu but then he realised he felt off in the hospital when he woke cause he couldn’t smell the usual disinfectant and antiseptic.

He has lost his sense of smell and taste in 2 days.

A curse-breaker task force is set up - Harmoine included. They’re pulling all resources to find out about the artefact and how to reverse it.

He loses his sight the next day. Harry guides him around - cue Draco’s insecurity in having to rely on someone. They argued a lot but whenever Draco reaches out in the dark in fear, Harry is always there as an unwavering pillar of support.

Draco ‘I’ll be difficult and lash out because it’s been ingrained in me that asking for help is a sign of weakness and I will not and cannot be seen as weak’ Malfoy x Harry ‘I’m not leaving. I know you and I see through your mask and I’m not leaving you alone to deal with this’ Potter.

I think it’ll be especially sweet if Draco lashes out with some very vicious insults to get Harry to leave (he still has poor coping mechanisms) and when he succeeds and hear the door slams, he sobs. (Harry hears him outside the door) Much later when he reaches out to pour himself some water (while blind!!), he knocks over the glass which shatters. He accidentally cuts himself on the glass and Harry rushes in. He fixes the glass and Draco’s bleeding hand and Draco finally stops resisting. He admits he’s scared and Harry promise he won’t leave again.

Nothing happens on the 4th day and the curse breaker makes a break through, although it’s not good news. They find out that Draco will lose all 5 senses in 7 days. If they don’t reverse the curse by the 7th day, Draco is essentially a breathing corpse having lost all senses.

He loses his sense of hearing on Day 5. He will never admit how much he misses hearing Harry’s voice but the silence is damning. Harry communicates mostly by writing on his arm and squeezing his hands to signal that he’s still there. If they end up holding hands the whole day, no one says anything.

It’s day 6. They’re fearing for the worse now. By the end of the day, he can barely feel Harry’s touch. (Sense of touch is the last to go)

Like a deadman walking with nothing to lose, Draco decided to be selfish and confesses to Harry, although he knows it’ll be a burden to Harry if he doesn’t make it but Malfoys’ aren’t known for their kindness and he’s not going to start now. (But lord knows he tried he just couldn’t hold it in, not anymore and what’s the worse that could happen if he was going to die anyway)

They kiss (!!) and Harry makes silent promises that he will take Draco out for a date after this so he better survive this!!

Day 7 comes and Draco doesn’t wake. He’s still breathing but he doesn’t stir.

Harry has a massive breakdown but eventually picks himself to throw into the counter curse research.

It took a few more days but something about love being the most powerful magic there is, Harry managed to break it (more at the end)

The artefact emits a light and Draco wakes!

They go for their date and live happily every after!!

To make this even longer, since I love TSOA’s

I could recognize him by touch alone, by smell; I would know him blind, by the way his breaths came and his feet struck the earth. I would know him in death, at the end of the world.

To incorporate this in, to break the curse, Harry is sent to a limbo world (similar to the train station when he died the first time) where he has to find Draco based on his senses to bring him back! There’s a few stages and each round he’s tested based on the senses

e.g. Hearing - he has to find Draco’s voice amidst a thousand but of course he’s so attuned to it it’s almost embarrassingly easy for him

Sight + touch - Harry can’t see and has to find Draco based on his touch.

Smell - Harry knows Draco smells like Apples and cinnamon. Don’t ask him why.

Taste - This is a bit tricky but maybe to pick up Draco’s favourite food?

All in all, Harry passed the tests because he’s obsessed with Draco so of course he knows these things!!

When I read fan fic where Lando gets jealous because yeah I get it, he is the type to get jealous really easily, but he's written to be really bratty sometimes and just not in a really cute way and it's just so icky to me and I don't really like it this guy is a 26 year old man not a 14 year old teenage girl (don't cancel me guys sigh I love Lando Norris I swear I'm in my changed era of Norris November). Hey Guys! This one is for the Harmione fans. Hope you enjoy!

Harry Potter had spent a lot of time planning this day, months going out of his way to surprise his wife of five years. He was happy to do it, after all, if it wasn’t for her, he would not have survived his years at Hogwarts. He wouldn’t have lived through the year they spent horcrux hunting, or the battle of Hogwarts. He definitely wouldn't have survived after the war.

She was there for him through every step of the way, mourning with him, going to counseling with him. No, his world would be a lot darker without Hermione Granger, now Hermione Granger-Potter. Making a big deal on their fifth wedding anniversary was the least he could do for her.

He started the day with breakfast in bed, serving her a full English Breakfast with coffee. It was not normal for her to have time to eat such a hearty meal in the mornings, so he knew she would enjoy it. After breakfast he took her to a day spa, where they spent all day relaxing and getting pampered. He had made reservations for dinner at the most prestigious restaurant he could think of. It had been amusing, as they paid for an extremely expensive meal and ended up still being hungry, which led them to a street cart where they gorged themselves on junk food. Finally they were home, and Harry could tell Hermione was happy that she was grateful for this day.

It wasn’t over yet however.

Harry went into the bathroom, drawing a bath for her in the clawfoot tub they had purchased, placing her favorite scents in the water, Vanilla and Orange. He led her to the bath, kissing her gently as he slowly undressed her, letting his fingers slide over her soft skin. He took his time, his kisses gentle and undemanding as his hands worshipped her body. He helped her into the tub, his cock twitching as she let out a moan as the hot water surrounded her. He undressed before he slid into the tub behind her, slowly.
