happy happy birthday to heeseung. i can't believe he's 22 - what happened to that 19 year old i originally met?! where has the time gone?!

heeseung is one of my favorite vocalists and overall idols in the industry. his voice is insane, he's so passionate about music, he's extremely talented (singing, rapping, dancing, instruments), and he's so caring and funny with the members and fans. i love how casual he is with engenes - he really knows how much we all love him and he knows he's amazing (which i really love bc he should know that he is the bestest person ever).

i'll never forget watching heeseung singing 'savage love' and dancing with wonki way back when (was it before debut? or at debut?) and being in awe of his voice. every day since, i've admired him and his voice, and been so proud to be a fan of his.

it’s officially october 15 in my timezone, so i can finally say HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEESEUNG!!!!!

no words can describe how happy i am to live in a time where enhypen exists, and where i have been able to watch heeseung perform. every time i’ve seen him, he has done nothing but bring the most incredible energy to the room. between blown kisses and insanely lucky photocard pulls, every moment i’ve spent with heeseung has not been wasted.

i always say that people shouldn’t worship their idols, but there are very few musicians—very few people—that are able to connect to their audience in such a universal way. heeseung is truly the ace of enhypen and hybe’s secret weapon. his growth over four years from i-land to now is honestly inspirational. i’ve watched him both from afar and up close, but no matter what angle i look at him from, all i see is pure talent and an overall amazing person to interact with. we are truly connected by a hyphen.
