Everybody’s posting this most awesome Duck art for Donald (and Della, and also apparently Daisy’s?) birthday,
and I wanna say how happy I am! Thank you guys for being such an awesome community. I love how we all come together for Donald Duck and his family, and all the characters in his universe. I’ve encountered the thoughts and musings, writings and ramblings, and art and sketches of so many talented people just on this website.
You’ve inspired me so much and given me so much joy.
Has Donald made me happy? Of course!
But I wouldn’t be as obsessed with Donald as I am if it weren’t for this community. You’re the people who have given me fanfics and analyses that have haunted my brain in the best way, drew fanarts and created art pieces that brightened my mood just by looking at them on a screen.
And, most importantly,
you’ve
been
my
friends
To all the people who I have chatted and contemplated Ducks over, I want you to know how much every conversation means to me.
Thank you.
This community started 90 years ago today, when Donald Fauntleroy Duck graced the screen for the first time on June 9, 1934.
He is one of the most important things in my life. But he wouldn’t have the same impact on me if it weren’t for this community.
Happy Birthday to Donald, Della, and Daisy Duck
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!!!

Duckverse June Week 1: Happy Birthday to the Duck Twins and Daisy
Round 2 of Duckverse June is now under way! (@duckversejune2024) Once again, I promise that @secret-tester, @queer-in-a-cornfield, and I will do the best we can as your hosts. That, of course, doesn’t mean we’re not gonna do the prompts ourselves, though.
So to that end, for Week 1, I give you…
The Perfect Cake
“No. No. No. Oh, gosh, that’s extravagant. No. No. Definitely not.”
Donald was feeling anxious. His, Della’s, and Daisy’s birthdays were all coming up. And within two days of each other, no less.
He and Della were planning a day out for their birthday, just the two of them, before celebrating with their family. As for Daisy, he wanted to take her out to dinner. Beyond that, he wanted to make her a cake. But even looking through the cookbooks at the mansion, he still didn’t think he’d found what he was looking for.
“Uncle Donald? What are you doing?”
Donald whirled around to find Huey standing behind him.
“Oh. Hi, Huey,” Donald greeted his oldest nephew. “I want to make a cake for Daisy’s birthday, but it’s so hard to choose what kind to make.”
“Hmmm…” Huey pondered, tapping his chin. “Does Aunt Daisy have a particular kind of cake she’d like?”
“Not really, no,” Donald lamented. “She has her favorites, but when I asked her what kind she wanted, she told me to surprise her. So it could be anything! What am I going to do, Huey?”
“Okay,” Huey answered. “First thing, Uncle Donald. Take a deep breath.”
Donald breathed gradually, calming himself down.
“Good,” Huey continued. “Second, you’ve totally got this! You could make Aunt Daisy literally any cake in the world, and she would love it because you made it for her. You’re a very romantic guy; no matter how you make the cake, the most important ingredient is heart.”
“Heart,” Donald repeated.
Wait. Heart. Donald suddenly thought back to that one time he brought Daisy over for a date on the houseboat (the one that Storkules third wheeled on). He had made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in the shape of hearts. That was brilliant, actually.
“Heart! Huey, you just gave me a great idea!” Donald gave the boy a quick hug, and rushed back into the kitchen.
Huey was surprised. What could he have said that got the gears in Uncle Donald’s head turning so quickly?
“I did?” he called out, confused.
Donald hadn’t found anything in any of the books for a peanut butter and jelly cake, but he could look on his phone. He saved the link, just to be safe, looked for the ingredients, and then got to work.
He made the cake, and while each of the layers were baking, he set to work on the frosting and ganache.
Della soon wandered into the kitchen. “Hey, bro, what smells so good? Ooh, peanut butter,” she remarked, swiping a finger through the frosting.
“Hey!” Donald exclaimed.
“I’m surprised you didn’t anticipate for me, Donald,” laughed Della.
“Old habits die hard, I guess,” groaned Donald. “Anyway, if you must know, this cake is for Daisy’s birthday.”
“Oh,” Della replied. “Ohhh. Like your first date on the houseboat.”
“Precisely,” Donald answered.
Della put her hands to her heart. “That’s really thoughtful, Donald. I’m sure she’s gonna love it.”
“Thanks,” Donald replied. “I’m glad to see it has your seal of approval,” he added while noticing a bit of frosting still at the corner of Della’s bill.
“Also,” Della continued, “I wanted to confirm if you booked us for laser tag already.”
“Don’t worry,” reassured Donald. “I’ve got it all taken care of. Sunday is all about you and me. The itinerary is good to go.”
“Great,” Della answered back. “Ooh, I can’t wait! Okay, you’ve got Daisy’s cake to knock out, so I’ll leave you to it.” And she gave Donald finger guns as she reversed back out of the kitchen.
Donald shook his head and laughed. Della was a pain in the tail feathers, but he could always count on her as his biggest supporter when it came to Daisy.
It was Friday. Daisy’s birthday. She had to work for most of the day, but Donald took her out to dinner at a nice restaurant, while May and June were sleeping over with Webby.
Donald was anxious. He hoped that Daisy would like the cake. Daisy, on the other hand, was rather excited. She couldn’t wait to see what Donald had come up with for her birthday!
When they got back home, they made their way to the kitchen, where Daisy sat down at the table, while Donald took the cake out of the fridge. Daisy was practically on the edge of her seat.
“Alright,” Donald announced, removing the cover from the plate. “And…voilà!”
Daisy gasped. It was a very lovely cake, decorated with a rich peanut butter frosting, and garnished with two strawberries, with the words “Happy Birthday Daisy” written on it in pink writer’s icing.
“Do you like it?” Donald asked.
“Like it? I…I love it,” Daisy proclaimed. “The piping work you did is impeccable. What exactly is it?”
“Peanut butter cake, peanut butter frosting, and strawberry jam ganache,” listed off Donald.
“Why, I-like our first date,” Daisy gasped.
Donald nodded, a proud grin on his face.
Tears welled up in Daisy’s eyes. “How exactly did you come up with it?”
“Well, it wasn’t all me,” admitted Donald. “It was Huey that gave me the brain spark, and I just went from there.”
Daisy grabbed Donald’s face and kissed him appreciatively. “Oh, Donald,” she whispered. “It’s lovely. Thank you.”
“You’re welcome, my love,” Donald replied. “Now, why don’t I get some candles, and then we can eat?”
Daisy nodded. And so, after Donald got a good picture of the cake, as well as of Daisy blowing out her candles, he cut into it, and then he gave a piece to Daisy.
Now Daisy could get a good look at the inside of the cake. Of the three layers, the two on the inside were frosted directly on top, and then had the strawberry ganache added on.
She took a bite. Perfect. The cake was nice and moist, and the frosting wasn’t too overly sweet.
“Delicious,” she said to Donald.
“I’m glad you like it,” Donald beamed.
“Now go on, try it,” Daisy urged. “The master chef needs to sample his handiwork.”
Donald blushed, and carved out a slice for himself.
‘Ooh, yum-yum-yum-yum-yum-yum-yum,’ he thought. Now that was some good cake.

Happy 90th Birthday Donald Duck! - Donald Duck and his family and friends - Tribute to Don Rosa (Happy belated birthday to Don Rosa) - The Duck Who Never Was - My redraw - Duck comics - Duckverse
I know it's past Donald's birthday, but I don't care, because this year is a whole year dedicated to him, because this year the most popular duck is celebrating his 90th birthday this year. So if someone tells me why I'm dedicating his birthday to him now, even though it's passed, please shut up, this is definitely dedicated to the best duck in the world and I have the right to draw related to him. By the way, I drew tributes related to his birthday before, so check out my previous drawings.
By the way, even though his birthday passed a month ago, I definitely wanted to dedicate this drawing to one of my favorite comic artists and writers, Don Rosa, who celebrates his birthday on June 29th because he was born on that date in 1951. Don Rosa wrote and drew comics mostly related to Scrooge McDuck, but also dedicated something related to Donald Duck. A special comic is "The Duck Who Never Was" from June 9, 1994, which is dedicated to the 60th birthday of Donald Duck, where Donald thinks that everyone has forgotten about his birthday, so he miraculously went to another universe where he does not exist and it can be said that it doesn't work at all without it. In the end, Donald returns to his world and is surprised that his beloved family and friends threw him a great birthday party. It's one of my favorite Don Rosa comics.
Yes, I drew as a redraw those final scenes from that comic, so I drew it in my own way, and I apologize to Don Rosa, since I added some characters, and also did some of my own version of characters from the Duckverse. Daisy kisses her Donald, and besides them there are also Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, Daisy's nieces April, May and June Duck (Dutch version), Donald's uncle Scrooge McDuck, Donald's grandmother Grandma Duck (Elvira Coot), Donald's cousins Gladstone Gander, Gus Goose, Fethry Duck, Donald's best friends Gyro Gearloose, Little Helper, Jose Carioca (José Zé Carioca) and Panchito Pistoles. Yes, added Fethry and the two caballeros because they somehow don't make a real Donald family without them in my opinion. And instead of the 60th birthday, I added Donald Duck's 90th birthday on the banner held by Donald's nephews and Daisy's nieces. Yes, and the 30th anniversary of this comic. I hope you like this idea and this drawing and my remake of that comic, even though I know it's against the Don Rosa rules. Sorry.
I hope you like this drawing and this idea and feel free to like and reblog this if you like it, just don't use these same ideas of mine without mentioning me! Thank you! Also, here's a happy 90th birthday to Donald Duck (who celebrates on June 9th) and a happy birthday to Don Rosa (who celebrates on June 29th) and the beginning of summer, which is celebrated on June 21st! Happy birthday to the best duck who deserves the best! :D And this is a gift for all of you who love this duck and his family!

Playtime Parties
cw: abdl, Mdlb, cucking
That’s right honey; Mommy will be back soon. Be a good boy and play with your cars. I love you.”
His mommy walked out of the nursery in her pretty red heels with her little black dress on, and he knew her friend was coming over soon. She only got dressed like that when her friend was coming for dinner.
The cars were just across the room on the big mat with all the roads and buildings with the Mickey Mouse theme. The baby crawled over for some playtime like Mommy suggested, his eyes on the car that had Mickey in the front seat. It was red just like his onesie!
“Unghh—-”
He began to hear Mommy’s voice from outside the nursery, followed by a heavy bang against the wall. Nothing new there. Every time Mommy’s big man friend came over, there were always weird little noises the baby never heard otherwise.
“Vroooooooom—Hot dog! There’s so much to do before Minnie’s tea party!”, the baby did his best car and Mickey impressions while lying on his tummy. Mickey was going over to the clubhouse! The baby zoomed the car over to the structure where all the other cars were parked already. There weren’t enough friends there, so “Mickey” called Goofy.
“Hiya Goof! Are you coming today to Minnie’s surprise tea party? I need some help decorating the clubhouse to make it special for her.”
“Gawrsh Mickey! I’ll be right over!” The baby reached as far as he could to bring Goofy’s yellow car closer to the clubhouse.
The baby lifted his head momentarily at the sound of his mommy’s high-pitched gasp for air, followed by a low groan that could only be the man’s. The baby hoped his mommy was okay. It sounded like her friend could be hurting her. Why else would his mommy be so loud without words?
He shook his head and went back to his cars. In his world, Mickey was running around the clubhouse grounds placing tablecloths on the tables. Goofy was just arriving and happy to help Donald Duck hang the twinkle lights around the tea party area. Everything was looking so good, and they would be ready for Minnie soon!
There was another groan coming from out of the room, but the baby didn’t pay any attention to it as he started to very slowly move Minnie’s pink car with the white polka dots towards Daisy’s house to pick her up. The wheels made a little squeak as they rolled against the mat. Silly Daisy, she needed Minnie’s help choosing which purple dress she wanted to wear to the clubhouse today. Daisy was in on the birthday surprise and wanted to give the boys more time to set up and make things perfect for her best friend.
Pete arrived at the clubhouse last with a bunch of scones and small finger sandwiches. He was so proud of them, having worked all morning to get them just right. He didn’t think he should have to help the other boys set up the tea party decorations. The baby rolled his eyes. Pete was always his least favorite character.
“Uh! UHHH!!! ALMOST THERE!!!”, the baby heard his mommy’s voice but didn’t bother to stop playing. She said she was almost there, right? That must mean he is almost going to be allowed out of his nursery. He needed to get this tea party going as the last thing he wanted was for Mommy to burst in and say it was bedtime before the day at the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse was over!
Daisy and Minnie finally were ready to go over to the clubhouse. The baby zoomed the car to the clubhouse grounds and parked it, pretending that there were big bushes blocking their view from the tea party the boys had set up. He moved Minnie closer to her surprise just as he heard something slam into the outside of his nursery’s wall. A big sigh and groan came from the other side of the wall again.
“SURPRISE MINNIE!”, the Clubhouse gang all cried out. Minnie was so excited by all the decorations and the fact that all her friends were there, that the baby didn’t realize he was being watched by Mommy and her friend through the open doorway.
“Wow babe… That’s your husband? He’s wearing a diaper playing with cars…” Mommy’s friend kept his voice low, almost so low that the baby didn’t register it at all. The friend didn’t seem to like him very much.
“That’s why you’re here… a woman has needs!”
