“I can’t do this!” You say, near tears as you fumble and drop the sword. It clatters to the ground with a loud sound and you wince as Zoro approaches you. Wado Ichimonji lays between your legs on the dirt ground, the reflective surface of the blade mirroring your face in what felt like a mocking way as you held back tears.

Zoro’s hand presses against your back, rubbing calming circles and trying to get you to clear your mind for a second. “Breath, you can’t get anything done if you aren’t calm.” Zoro isn’t quite the best at finding the right words, but there’s a sincerity in them. In a moment like this where you felt so incredibly useless, it helped that there was no shaming in his tone, only a serious concern.

You take in a few deep and shaky breaths till you are breathing evenly, still scowling down at the blade that you just couldn’t make work for you. In the clearness of your mind you can feel your muscles aching and crying and you slump against Zoro, who catches you easily. “I hate training. I suck at this.”

Zoro scoffs as his fingers make a pass through your hair, brushing sweaty strands away from your tired face. “Don’t be an idiot y/n. You think I just picked up a sword and was perfect?” Zoro tilts his head towards you, putting an emphasis on the eye he’d lost in his own training.

You just pout and in response the swordsman squeezes you a bit, making you shout. “It’s not that, I’m just not good at anything. And sometimes I just feel so useless because of that.” Out on the open ocean you found yourself surrounded by talent, in every crevice and corner there was someone amazing. And sometimes you couldn’t help but feel a little insignificant, a little drifting buoy in the vast sea of so much more, faded and torn up from the vicious waves.

“Just because you’re so convinced you aren’t doesn’t mean it’s the truth. Sometimes you gotta fight through dirt and grit to get somewhere, you gotta feel like you're the worst to ever want to strive for the best. You’re alive and fighting, ain’t that something at least?” He peels himself away temporarily to brush the already shed tears away with a gentle touch, his calloused thumb soft on your skin. “Stop being so damn hard on yourself. We aren’t lucky like the others that are born with skill, we gotta fight for it.”

“Sorry.” You pull yourself together and bend down to pass the sword back to him, the blade almost felt lighter in your hands.

“And stop apologizing so much, you’re driving me crazy, you didn’t do anything wrong. You and Usopp are always so freaked out, it’s going to be fine. I should get you a drink to calm down.” Zoro groans loudly and you chase after him to hand him his sword. You can just tell he’s looking for an excuse and you might as well join him.

Stumbling beside him, you hesitate before leaning in to kiss him on the cheek. “Thank you.” You whisper in his ear and Zoro’s face darkens with a blush, his head immediately snapping to look away

Well, here, it’s kind of late to have more plans, but we did go on a date around town, and we baked cakes. They made dinner(it was good I was really proud of them

Sadly, Luffy ate so much cake we barely could have a taste of the first ones(we had other cakes because we knew it would happen, Luffy tried to eat the safe cake and almost got stabbed) and stupid marimo got blasted, I think he killed the only brain cell he had left with all that alcohol. And as of, uh, something special, you don’t need to know… it doesn’t belong on that blog if you see what I mean?~~

Oh, the first birthday we celebrated as a couple was last year. We tried to have a candlelight dinner. We stayed on a cliff in front of the sea, they took wine and flowers and it was so romantic. Didn’t work out. We got attacked by marines...”

 Happy Lucky Monday, minna-san! I hope everyone is hanging still from this horrible heat. Keep yourself healthy and hydrated. W/o further ado, let’s get on with this week’s news. First off, this week the Wano story will resume so let’s see what Luffy and Marimo head aka Zoro will respond to Hawkin’s stand. Don’t miss it! Next, this past weekend’s episode was bizarre as we see our heroes running away from Big Mom since Nami’s attack had no effect on here. Meanwhile, Chopper and Brook fight off all the goons aboard on Sunny with Perospero and Katakuri on guard to defend themselves. We then see Pudding and Chiffon caught up with the gang as she tries to tell them how Big Mom can be stopped, but Luffy and the others have a hard time to trust her since she betrayed them. She then goes haywire and starts berating them with horrible words of doom, but Chiffon is pulling the reins on her to stay focused on the task. She then tells Sanji that they need his help to make another wedding cake at Chocolat town in order to stop her. At the end, Sanji then takes up the task and left with the girls. Next time, Brook and Chopper are in big trouble with Perospero making move. Will the gang make it on time to save them? Don’t miss it! Now on with the goods! First off, we received a telegram from Tongari-san. He couldn’t come due this immense heat. He wrote that fun stuff is happening next month and of course, the month of ghouls, Halloween! First off, here is the theme of this year’s Halloween. This year’s is steam punk. Loads of fun stuff is happening. The tower will again have the annual Halloween contest. The first three two Saturdays, Oct.13th & 20th will be the adult contest. On Oct.27th will be the kids contest and if you have sibling or child, it’s free entry for them. Goods, games, prizes, etc. will be announced later on. The Halloween event will start on Sept.15th. Next, the tower is gonna be noisy and fun to celebrate the most funny clown of all, Buggy. His birthday is on Aug.1st. The café will serve Buggy’s Big Gigantic Game tiramisu cake with blue whip cream with a cherry nose served with some chocolate whip cream and sweet tortilla chips. They will also celebrate Cavendish’s birthday. They will serve Cavendish’s Hakuba Noble yogurt with some mango flavor whip along with his sweet shaped tortilla hat and edible flower petals. If you order either both, you’ll get a free birthday bromide card of them. Next, the Straw Hat store will be selling Buggy’s birthday such as his button and acrylic keychain. If you visit the tower and shop at the store, you’ll get a free big birthday card of him. Plus, if you spend over 3000 yen, you’ll get a free poster of him. The tower will also be selling August birthday buttons as well of the characters. Next, tower will be selling wanted ads acrylic key chains of the Straw Hats and new mini boats figurines of Sunny, Eneru’s ark, Sunny with his chicken hat, Shanks’ ship, Buggy’s ship, and the Polar Tang. These will be in blind boxes. Next, this week, all arcades will be stocking this new figurine of Luffy from OP magazine vol.3 in color and b/w color. Get those coins ready to win this awesome prize. Next, the new POP figurine of Hancock in her silver color bikini will be released in November. Check your local hobby store or Straw Hat store. You can also make reservation online from the usual online anime store. Next, Wonderfest released loads of upcoming figurines this year and early next year. First, they have this POP Maximum figurine of Hancock with Salome. No date released yet, but it will be sometime this fall or winter year. Next, these new Ichiban Kuji figurines of battle fight of Luffy vs Katakuri & Ace vs Whitebeard. Title of the new IK is Memorial Log. It will be released in December. More prizes will be revealed later. Next, new POP bikini figurines of Nami and Bonney have been completed. Figurine of Nami is holding a beer and Bonney in her erotic bikini which will include her hat. Both will probably be released next year. Same with this new POP Maximum figurine of Zoro in his two sword style. Next, this Saturday, the new mugi mugi plushies of Germa, Luffy, Nami, Sanji, and Pudding will be released. Luffy and Nami will be in their WCI outfits, & Sanji and Pudding will be in their wedding outfits. Cuddly cute! Next, all Straw Hat stores will be selling suit case covers cloth. Luffy, Zoro, Robin, and Ussop will be released this week. Law, Sanji, Franky, and Brook will be released in mid-Aug. Next, the stores will be selling this wonderful iphone 7/8 flip cover of Sunny part of a map background. Last, but not least, the OP app game, Thousand Storm, will be having a short campaign where you earn enough points and reach new levels you can get Eneru in his long cape from Log Collection. Well, that’s all we got for now. We will be absent next week since next week is my birthday and the crew and I are going with a dear friend to celebrate it together for two days. We will be back on Wednesday, but we’ll try to keep you informed beforehand. Kikko! Momon! Let’s get some shut eye.

One place that makes me happy and why: My apartment. It’s currently costing me more than I can honestly afford, it forces me to work full time while being a full time student, but it’s so worth it. I love it. <3

How many blankets I sleep under: I sleep under a duvet. I don’t think I own enough blankets for me to sleep under during winter. XD I have a really heavy duvet for winter, and a thinner one during summer.

Favourite beverage: I doubt anyone will be surprised when I say it’s tea. :P

The last movie I watched in the cinemas was: ...Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I rarely go to the movies. ^^;

Three things I can’t live without: Internet, laptop, reading material...oh, and my family and friends. I’ve heard they’re rather nice to have in your life. :P

Something I plan on learning: How to procrastinate less. I just haven’t gotten around to it yet.

A piece of advice for all my followers: Always be kind. That doesn’t mean “be a pushover”, that’s not the same thing, but always be kind.

12. “H-how long have you been standing there?” - “Long enough.” Sanji and Zoro

Sanji fell into his nightly routine easily enough. He did the dishes, wiped down the counters, cleaned the last of the crumbs from the table and swept the floor. He thought about mopping, but really, he’d done it that morning and it could wait until the following morning.

He hummed with each step he took, enjoying the bit of quiet that he was able to get after a long day. The entire ship was quiet, them having docked right before dinner. Most of the crew had eaten quickly, looking to get a little look around town before it got too late. Sanji didn’t blame them and wanted to do that himself— one of the reasons why he said the mopping could wait until the following morning.

When the last of the dishes had been dried and put away, Sanji shut off the light over the sink and turned, his breath catching in his throat. Zoro stood leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed over his chest. Sanji took a deep breath, pressing his hand over his racing heart. “How long have you been standing there?”

The swordsman stood, making his way across the floor to Sanji as he leaned in to press a kiss against his cheek. “Long enough. You done, I want to show you something.”

Sanji grinned, chasing after the other man when he pulled away. “You want to show me something? That’s rich.”

Zoro simply hummed, catching Sanji’s hand and tugging him toward the door. Sanji followed along, squeezing Zoro’s fingers in his own as he did. The other man stopped just short of opening it and turned back to him. “Close your eyes, Cook.”

Sanji gave him a questionable look before he did so. He heard Zoro open the galley door, then take both his hands, carefully leading him out onto the deck. “Where are you taking me, Marimo?”

“Just right here.” Sanji frowned as Zoro’s words, they had only taken two steps from the galley door. Sanji was pretty sure he could kick it shut from memory alone they were still so close to it. Zoro dropped both his hands, but a moment later he felt Zoro’s arms wrap around him from behind as the swordsman dropped his head to Sanji’s shoulder. “We don’t need to go any farther. Open your eyes, Sanji.”

Blinking, Sanji did so, seeing nothing but the empty grass deck before them. He inhaled to speak as Zoro instructed him to look up and that’s when Sanji saw it, his breath catching in his throat. The sky above them with filled with paper lanterns floating across the night sky. Every single one flickered with it’s own little light and Sanji tipped his head back as he tried to take them all in. “There’s so many of them.”

“I thought you would like it.” Zoro tightened his arms around Sanji’s waist. “I did go into town, but I didn’t get far before I saw everyone getting ready for this. I asked about it and afterward I came back here. I wanted you to see this.”

Sanji wrapped his hands around Zoro’s wrists, turning to press his cheek against the swordsman’s. Zoro turned and kissed him again, taking a deep breath as rested his chin on Sanji’s shoulder once more. “Happy Birthday, Sanji; I’m sure you thought I forgot.”

“I did,” Sanji smirked as he watched the lanterns float out across the bay. “But this makes up for that.” Sanji turned in Zoro’s arms, wrapping his own around the man’s neck and leaning in for a kiss. “Thank you, Zoro.”

Reaching up, Zoro pressed a kiss to Sanji’s forehead. “You’re welcome, Sanji. I thought something nice and simple would do the trick.”

Sanji snorted back a laugh. “Don’t talk, you’ll ruin it.”

“Yeah, yeah.” Rolling his eye, Zoro huffed, but did as asked and neither of them said a word as they broke apart to watch the lanterns. They didn’t have to though as they stood there holding hands, as the simple action said enough.

Hi how are you? Just saw your Zoro x Reader x Law, that I loved so much (poor Marimo...). And I wanted to request a fic I once requested for another blog... Could you please write a headcanon about Ace and Sanji (polyrelationship), both dating Shanks and Mihawk's daughter in secret, and her parents discovering the relationship by accident when seeing them on a date/kissing/fluff scenario? It can be 2 o 3 person pov, what you feel better. Thanks for the attention and sorry for the bother.

Getting caught - Sanji / reader / Ace 

2nd person. female reader. Polyamory. Part 2 here! 

Having Mihawk and Shanks as fathers isn’t easy. They’re super protective of their ‘little girl’ no matter how many times you try to make clear to them that you are a grown-ass adult, who can perfectly make decisions for herself. 

Especially Mihawk is difficult to persuade to give you freedom. He prefers you stay on Kuraigana, which is hard to convince you of. There is nothing to do there and Shanks is out all the time, it’s only logical that adventure calls one day. 

Shanks is the ‘cool dad’, who thinks it is important you have your freedom and such. But on the inside, he does worry. Keeping an eye on the newspapers to see if there’s anything about you. 

Whenever the two of them got together, they always hoped you’d spend some quality time with you, but once you found yourself a crew, that became a little harder. 

When they find out that crew is the strawhats…there’s some mixed reactions. Shanks thinks it’s hilarious, and although Mihawk insists they are not the best crew to hang around or be part of, he is secretly kind of relieved, knowing none of them would ever let someone harm you. And if they did they’d be into big trouble. And the crew are super close friends, which is nice, to have such an intense bond.

What they don’t know, and maybe for the best, is that it didn’t take long for you to form an even more intense bond with the ship’s cook, who you had fallen for, thanks to his neverending charm, love and just anything and everything he ever did. 

The two of you had been dating for a while, but you hadn’t mentioned it in any of the letters you sent to either of your dads. Just to keep them from setting course to wherever you are to give your boyfriend a stern talking-to. 

On top of that, the relationship had become even a little more complicated and hard to explain to your fathers after the crew had met Luffy’s older brother Ace at Alabasta. 

Let’s just say Alabasta nights get cold and Ace was just what Sanji and you needed to warm up a little. 

Ace, of course, couldn’t always be with the two of you, Whitebeard Pirate responsibilities as a commander and of course his search for Blackbeard still being his main focus, but he did try and visit you two as much as possible, making detours with the striker just to show up at the island you guys were at every now and then. 

Usually unannounced, he lives for the surprised look on your faces, how you squeal and nearly tackle him in a hug, and Sanji’s content smile as he puts out his cigarette and discards it to join him and you in the happy reunion. 

You guys see opportunity when your dads can finally convince each other and your crew to all get together to celebrate Luffy’s birthday. One big family party, the castle is big enough for everyone to sleep over comfortably, and it would be a well-deserved break from your adventure. It’s fun, but going island to island with Luffy’s chaotic good energy is exhausting sometimes. 

But besides your break: there is also another thing: opportunity. Although it’d be hard to sneak around, you guys figure out that if all three leave for your room at separate times while the other people are still partying, and you wake up before everyone else does, you should be fine. 

Plans made: Ace would just fall asleep, no need to even fake, and Sanji would help him go to his room, excusing himself as well because he’d propose to make a nice festive breakfast for everyone before the party was over and everyone would have to return to their own business. 

You’d follow a little later, excusing yourself because you weren’t feeling too well and a good night’s sleep would be the best cure so you could be present at the breakfast. 

The party came and so far so good: Ace had fallen asleep a little too early and not subtle at all, dropping his drink and making everyone stare before bursting into laughter, and nobody had questioned Sanji when he started dragging ace out of the big living room or had whined when he said that he’d be going to bed as well.

Okay, Luffy had whined a little, but well, he was distracted five seconds later when Ussop did something funny. 

For you, escaping was a little harder. Your dads insistent on catching up with you, had been cornering you throughout most of the party, just to talk. You were getting nervous that they might have been suspecting something, but luckily for you, you managed to play it off for not feeling too well, and excused yourself too. 

The party noises had become increasingly silent before dying out completely, but the three of you had barely noticed, making the best of the time you had for this rare moment of quality time in a soft big bed. 

Ace had fallen asleep again, and Sanji and you were lazily tracing the freckles on his back, fighting against sleep to just enjoy this moment a little longer, knowing you’d have to act again once the sun came up, just to keep your overprotective fathers from murdering these two men you loved more than anything else in the world. 

“We should probably sleep as well princess,” Sanji murmured as he laid down properly, “or they’ll know we definitely haven’t slept properly even though we left so early”. 

Him saying that out loud was all you needed to give in to the sleep, knowing he was right, but not before giving the both of them a soft kiss goodnight. 

The three of you didn't have much rest though, it felt like you had barely blinked when you were awoken by an “ahem” and extremely loud laughter. 

Turns out, your dads had wanted to check up on you, and well, they had not found their darling y/n sleeping away some nausea as they had been expecting.

Shanks thought the whole thing was hilarious, hence the loud laughter, even more so when the three of you woke up and were immediately panicked. 

Mihawk on the other hand was glaring daggers, mostly at the two males in your bed, but he spared some of those glares for you as well. 

You couldn’t deny anything, and it took you a good few rounds of explaining. 

Shanks was super interested in what you had to say but was muffling laughter throughout the whole thing, even after Mihawk had repeatedly sent him a glare as well. 

In the end, they were more upset you had tried to keep it from them. 

But that didn’t keep them from threatening Ace and Sanji that if they’d ever even dare to hurt you in any way they’d both be after them. 

Ace and Sanji had never looked so pale. You had never ever been so embarrassed, but you were too flustered about being caught that you’d barely spoken ever since the two of them had woken you up. 

Breakfast sure was going to be interesting.
