Official “Whatever Happened to… Robot Jones?” promotional notebook, made by Cartoon Network back in 2002. It is unknown how many of these were made, or who they were given to, but they are definitely SUPER rare.
I’m assuming these were made in regards to the series premiering, as it seems they included Robot Jones on some previous CN merch around this time. It’s possible these were also made as merch to just give to employees of CN, or maybe just employees of WHTRJ? Who knows, just a hunch, you know?! 🤷🏻‍♀️
WorthPoint link to the item, which was an old eBay listing:

Three Times Tabitha Tate Went on a Fake Date (And One Time She Went on a Real One)
She pats his hand, just slightly, but it doesn’t go unnoticed, as Jughead raises his eyebrows at her. Another moment passes, the jukebox playing softly. “Sounds great, Tabitha. Get ready for my Jones charm.”
“You mean for me to be completely repulsed by it?” she jokes. “We’ve been friends for some time now. I’m pretty sure I’m immune to anything you could possibly bring to the table.”
She’s lying, of course, but not that Jughead’s aware. He only itches the space between his lips and his nose, with a teasing smirk plastered on his face. “That is an absolutely brutal way to turn a guy down, Tabs.”

Happy Ostara/Easter/belated Spring Equinox 😊🌸🌿 🐰🥚🍫! . ✨Valar and Valier series (late 2000s)✨ - 🌳🌿Yavanna Kementári🌿🌳 Initial practice sketch, the final painting and a couple of details. . I now prefer to headcanon Yavanna as dark-skinned, but I quite like how this watercolour turned out - especially the gradation of the different greens in the dress and mantle, and the trees in the background. I also love Alan Lee's original drawing on which this painting is based 🌿💚 (swipe for the comparison! Original is black and white, coloured by me as a guide for the painting). . Some years ago I started a 'Valar and Valier' project in which I took an existing painting/drawing as reference/inspiration to draw/paint one of the Valar. So far, I've done Varda, Yavanna, Nienna, Mandos and Aulë, and I also have some sketches of Nessa, Vána and Estë. Hope to get back to this project sometime! . . 🎨Media: Graphite, watercolours, inks, ink wash . 🌱References: Alan Lee's drawing of the Celtic fae Ladies of the Land of the Young, for the book Faeries.

Happy belated 23rd Anniversary to my favorite childhood show of all time
So this time I’m drawing them gijinka but with anime 2000s art style with those little cutesy chibi and umm I wanna to say thank the show for raising me as a kid who brings so much inspiration like my comic being made as Y2K as my dream artstyle and aesthetic. Drew them in a mixture of Kirby anime artstyle and Y2K artstyle cuz feeling like I’m living in early 2000s. Kirby anime is an awesome show that brings me joy as much I remember playing Nintendo N64, GameCube, DS and Wii when it comes to watching those show back then and all thanks to that for bringing me into GSA brainrot. Also I drew Kirby with his gijinka self with his chibi friends :3
(Playing Y2K late 90s music on my playlist hehe and growing up with this artstyle in my internet days around 2008-2010 has got me plus it reminded me that time I listen to Nightcore and Daycore)

There’s a lot going on right now and life has become nearly unbearably stressful for me. I’m really glad that I’ve got such a wonderful, supportive wife. This is a little late for Valentine’s Day, but I dug up a few Photo Booth photos.
It cracks me up how we’re laughing too hard to kiss. The first photo was in the early 2000s, middle one prob 2012 or 2013, and the last is from 2021. A lot of years laughing and loving with my best gal.
Happy belated V Day!

For the first illustration, I dedicated this one to @capelinssm & @/saliannn on Bluesky & Discord. Currently just finishing the Lunar New Year art gift to both Japanese illustrators whose art I often admire & fell in love with the most!!!!! 🎇🧧🥂🍾
Honestly, this is the first time I drew them lovebirds Ares and Aphrodite in a much more stylized slice-of-life/ shoujo-centered anime style, tbh, inspired by the ones that I grew up in the ‘90s-mid-2000s. Boys over Flower, Nana, Paradise Kiss, Slam Dunk, etc. I have a very soft spot for their use of soft light colors and lineart a lot, as well as their use of patterns & textures in the clothing design too!!
Aphrodite’s look was still hugely inspired by Beyoncé’s outfits in the classic “Crazy in Love” music video; since there is always something both contemporary and modern with her sparking tank top, the denim jean bottoms, and candy apple red pumps that I can’t explain. The 70s psychedelic miniskirt shorts that the goddess wore were inspired by the Emilio Pucci one that I found on Vogue UK-softer colors with an experimental touch. And for the pumps, I based them on these classy but affordable Charles & Keith. 👠👠
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
For the second one, wanting to do something just for the Greek ladies for a long time: modern-day Ares as that hot Greek dad/fitness trainer and the main chef at their own home who just finished his early morning workout (a bit inspired from @thelonelylemonsquare and from the previous convo with @alatismeni-theitsa in this case), while Aphrodite in her hot lingerie outfit for the special occasion (recommended by my Greek fella, @konstantinos_palamidas on IG). The food that he cooked for her included Greek crustaceans fish soup, spicy seafood pasta, gyros wraps, Mediterranean salad and finally morning coffee!!!🥙🥗🍛🍲🥘
I’m so sorry for this took long enough, so have a happy belated Valentine Day also, too, everyone!!!!!

Happy Belated Birthday to Niki de Saint Phalle who was born on October 29 in 1930.
Niki de Saint Phalle (1930 – 2002) was a French-American sculptor, painter, filmmaker, and author of colorful hand-illustrated books. She was well known for colorful, whimsical, and joyous sculptures of large female figures she called Nanas. Her most well-known work was the Tarot Garden, a large sculpture garden containing numerous works by her, some as large as a house.
Saint Phalle spent a brief period in Cambridge, Massachusetts while her first husband, Harry Mathews, studied music at Harvard University. They were separated in 1960.
In 1971, Saint Phalle married Swiss artist Jean Tinguely after living with him intermittently for nearly ten years. Their marriage lasted two years, but they remained friends and collaborated on various art projects until his death in 1991.

Disney 100 ✨🏰🤍
Tumblr media
Wishing you all a happy new year and to Disney, a belated 100th anniversary! 🎉
To celebrate Disney’s century milestone, I created an illustration based on 100 of Disney’s most known and loved characters from their respective movies/ series. I’ve included all the ones I’ve known and feel are generally popular but I’m sorry if your personal favourites aren’t here.
This has been in the works for almost four months now but due to many delays I couldn’t finish it on time. So here it finally is!
Out of all these range characters, the hardest to draw was the Cars. I’m not used to drawing cars so I’m not generally good at them (yet). Some of these may look simple and easy to draw but trust me, they’re not 😂.
With drawing the characters and the background, I like to be accurate with the respective style it’s drawn/ animated in and the colours too. But also I wanted to also simplify the 3D ones and add a little depth using shadow to the 2D ones. For example some of these films would have a desaturated grainy effect to it and I wanted to keep that. But finally after months of working on it, it’s completed and I’m happy with it! ✨.
Please, please do check it out on Instagram too:
instagram
If this link doesn't work, my username is @/artofzafrasarfraz - it's where I put all my drawings up on. Please do share on stories and comment. Much appreciated 🥹🫶🏼🤍

What were your highlights of the sleepover?
In no particular order:
Seeing how much happier Basil and Aubrey are
Petting and cuddling Hector for ages
The popcorn at the X-Men movie we went to (the movie was okay, but the popcorn had the best salt to butter to corn ratio I'd ever seen. And I didn't get that many dud kernels at the bottom this time. And Mom was happy I ate all that)
Watching Kel dunk on a few mean kids at the local basketball court
Driving out to a nearby national forest and seeing bobcats (from a distance, but still!)
Having a belated birthday celebration with them (as my birthday was in July and I hadn't seen them since)
Hearing Hero reassure me that school's going to sort itself out
Watching the new Captain Spaceboy: Summer Special that we rented together and laughing at how out of character it was
Feeling comforted by everyone being in my room and Basil snuggled to me, knowing that everything will be okay, and regaining this sense of comfort I'd missed that I always get from sleepovers
Also Kel finally beat me at Pet Rocks and he was so excited so I was happy for him
(Sunday 3rd September, 2000, 7:45 AM)

translated via google;
"I've been imagining in the Wukongverse, what if Wukong's version of the literary work appears? I imagined the version of him based on theories that Wukong was actually a female in the works and due to the centuries the work was adapted to a male, due to his title of king in Cantonese being unisex. (possibly the first obligatory female character in history(?) It would also be funny for a woman to declare war on the celestial kingdom, but for the au I imagine her being Aroace/Asexual (but using terms of the time she would be celibate.. .don't hit me plz) its shape would be that of a normal macaque, so it's tiny.
Merry belated Christmas and have a happy new year uwu"
That actually sounds adorable! A book-accurate Wukong that's both the size of a regular monkey and femme!
I imagine the fact that she's female is often forgotten in history, not just because of sexism, but also because if you weren't looking hard enough you'd think she was a male monkey.
Its not the first time a Journey to the West character has had their gender changed; Tripitaka (+characters based on them) is often rewritten as a woman, particularly in "The New Legends of Monkey", "Saiyuki/Monkey Magic" (1978), "Dragon Ball Z" with Bulma, "Starzinger" (1978), and "Shinzo" (2000). This is because of a mix of Tripitaka having many traits people see as stereotypically feminine, and irl there being female buddhist monks called bhikkhunī.
It would be very funny in the Wukongverse, with all the different Tang Monks/Tripitakas discussing their different worlds when a certain topic of dicussion comes up;
2000s!Tripitaka: "It must be very unnverving, being the lone woman in a group of men." NewLegends!Tripitaka: "Absolutely, though from what I hear, many of you came upon similar feelings in the Kingdom of Women." The masc Tripitakas: *all nodding in agreement* HeroisBack!Luier (too young to understand): "Are there any other girls on your Journeys? My mama [LEM] and Sandy are both girls." BookAccurate!Tripitaka: *mumbles under breath* Tang: "What was that?" BookAccurate!Tripitaka: "What about The Monkey King? Aren't all yours women as well? Monkeys are matriarchal." The other Tripitakas: "What???"
And that spills over into the SWK room where they're all already treating the BookAccurate!Wukong as their sister. The Wukongs who are transmasc are very understanding of the plights she faced in the Celestial Realm. Though they do tease her for trying to shave a monk's tonsure into her head fur. And they tease her for her height compared to the others (especially Dasheng who's almost 6ft tall).

i always love an update post, they make me feel like we’re gossiping lol
if you’re in the mood to post one i will be reading it like a dad reading over the morning paper at the breakfast table trust
also now that i’m caught up with ur acc happy belated anniversary <3
-🧚🏼‍♀️
— link.
thank you very much!
what me and beef did for our anniversary was rly fun so i’m gonna give you an update page on that. i ended up falling asleep at 9pm the night prior bcos i was so exhausted from work and preparing for the anniversary day. woke up at 4am which he was already awake and we got to kiss on each other and go back to sleep together until we were ready to get started around noon.
we went to our fave coffee place and got drinks and pastries and went to a park with a lake to watch while we enjoyed each other’s company and had our food. he got a pumpkin cake and iced coffee, i got a chocolate croissant and chai and we shared.
then at home, we rented a movie he picked (rescue dawn with christian bale i believe it’s called) and i found my favorite robin hood movie on tubi (the adventures of robin hood with errol flynn). he doesn’t like movies made before the 2000s and i dont like high intensity war movies so both he and i have short attention spans when it comes to movies especially these movies, so we set timers to watch thirty minutes of my movie, thirty minutes of his, and then switch off playing ghost of tsushima (he has a game on his profile on my ps4 and i have a game on my profile) and we did that cycle until it was time to go to dinner
when i go out to eat, i like it to be luxurious. i like options. i like to be there a while. i don’t get to do that often, and we saved a lot of money to be able to do it this time. we went to our favorite italian restaurant and we dressed comfy bcos we knew we were about to feast. sweatpants and hoodies so we could have a proper comfy food coma
here’s how it went. we knew what we wanted to eat, but we wanted to take our sweet sweet time. we were expecting to be there about an hour and a half maybe more, and made sure to be there two hours before their closing time so we didn’t feel rushed and we didn’t cut into the staffs cleaning.
i ordered our drinks, two waters, a shirley temple for me with extra cherries and a sprite for him bcos we need sweet drinks as well as hydration. we settle in, we get comfortable. we always sit next to each other in a big booth and we were secluded in the far side of the restaurant everything is perfect. all of our supplies like wallets and keys etc everything in our pockets was set aside to the far part of the table out of our way. we drink our drinks, we eat our complimentary bread and oil and herbs, we fill the time. he doesn’t want an appetizer, but i want my favorite dish in the whole world right now. a fat ball of burrata, halved lil tomatoes, fresh basil, olive oil, and balsamic. it’s divine. it’s fresh. it’s light. we’re sharing our appetizer and we’re pacing ourselves. he doesn’t like tomatoes but he’s eating them on the bread and he’s saying it’s a rare moment for him and the cheese makes it better. i’m having such a swell time
when our waitress comes back we tell her we want a little more time to pick out our entrees, we’re living in luxury rn. we talk to her about some wine choices that go well with pasta, tell her what we’re celebrating. three whole years together.
since i don’t wanna eat too much too fast (i like picking off of options) i set aside the appetizer. when he pick out our entrees we pick out a side which we both chose chicken soup. the chicken soup comes first. it’s my favorite chicken soup. the only stuff i wanna eat when i’m so sick and need a good warm meal with a kick to clear my sinuses.
i also ordered a glass of wine to share with him bcos neither of us are alcohol people but i’m trying to get laid later and i wanna be loose and happy and have a little wine with my self indulgent dinner. the waitress helped me pick out a red wine thatll go with my pasta.
then our pasta (and wine) comes, both a type of ravioli. his is more cheesy like ricotta and i chose lobster. i love shellfish. if i could live off of lobster and crab i would. we share our pastas :) we drown them in parmesan. we have a little wine
she comes back to ask me if i like what she chose for me, and i explain that she picked a great choice but i just don’t like alcohol at all. she comes back with a sample of a more expensive bottle and its a lot smoother and she told me snuck me it.
dessert time comes and we pick tiramisu bcos i haven’t had it in years and its terrible when you buy it from the store, she says it’s on the house for our anniversary. we share it :)
we pack up all our foods, all our breads, soups, pastas, appetizers, and dessert and give our waitress one hefty tip and chug the rest of the wine. after an hour and a half of self indulgent blatant luxury and gross misuse of american earned funds we’re out of there and i’m wine drunk bcos it hits me all at once. beef makes sure i’m buckled in and we get home to go back to our movies and games and pick off our leftovers every so often and he takes good good care of me

Top 12 Keith David Performances
A couple of days ago, Keith David - a personal favorite performer of mine - celebrated his 67th Birthday. David is most well-known in the world of voice acting, but he’s also done some work in some high-profile live-action films and TV shows: if they aren’t considered classics outright, many of them are cult classics. I decided - on sort of a spur of the moment deal - to do a quick list of my favorites of his performances and characters, based totally on personal preference. (One key performance you will NOT find here is his role in “Rick & Morty,” because I’ve never really seen that show, and have no desire to do so.) This will be a description-less list, due to how suddenly I’m making this. Just pictures, credits, and ranks. With that said, let’s get started! These are My Top 12 Keith David Performances!
12. The Narrator, for Comic Book Superheroes Unmasked. (Highly interesting documentary from the early 2000s, go look it up.)
Tumblr media
11. The Cheshire Cat, from Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. (I don’t care if he only has three minutes of screentime, for some reason I love this evil kitty.)
Tumblr media
10. Mongul, from Young Justice.
Tumblr media
9. Despero, from the DCAU.
Tumblr media
8. Keith the Handyman, from Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood.
Tumblr media
7. Black Panther, from Fantastic Four: The Animated Series.
Tumblr media
6. Childs, from The Thing (1982).
Tumblr media
5. Imam, from The Chronicles of Riddick.
Tumblr media
4. The Cat, from Coraline.
Tumblr media
3. Spawn, from Spawn: The Animated Series/Mortal Kombat 11.
Tumblr media
2. Goliath, from Gargoyles.
Tumblr media
1. Dr. Facilier, from The Princess and the Frog.

Happy Belated Birthday, Mr. David! Here’s hoping we keep hearing your voice and seeing your face in future projects for a while! ;)

2024 Belated Updated Movie Masterlist
every year, i repost my movie watchlist here and set a new goal for movie watching. it is september now and i only just realized that i never did that for 2024!
instead, i tried to chip away at the 2023 reviews i was behind on first, got absolutely swamped by life (which i promise i'm still working on telling you all about) and never kicked off 2024 officially, even as i have been watching movies and keeping track of them to review here.
so, no time like almost-october, right? better than letting all of 2024 be absorbed into a black hole. and i didn't have a goal for this year, since i completely forgot to even kick off the year with a fresh masterpost, but the upside of that is that i don't have to feel bad about never coming close to my aspirational ideals.
also! i finally gave in and created a letterboxd account, though i'm still working on setting things up over there--and i'm going to keep writing my reviews over here anyway, because this is still my online home.
