Glamorously clad Vicki grabbed Mike by the arm and walked him firmly down the street through the New Year’s Eve crowd towards her car. “Nothing to do with with your drugs and prostitution racket then?” she smiled at him benignly. Mike frowned as the woman bundled him into the back seat. “Oh, yeah, there is that…” he acknowledged. “But don’t worry, sir.” the policewoman told him before she slammed the door. “I will be adding assaulting a police officer to your lengthy charge sheet!”

Elizabeth Sachs, kidnapper, cat burglar and occasional freelance industrial spy, breathed a sigh of relief as she stood up after she had placed several strips of duct tape over the mouth of Adam, who until then had filled the room with the sound of his whingeing, begging and pleading. “I’m not sure who it was, or when, that saw the potential of duct tape to shut up irritating prisoners!” she said to herself with satisfaction as her hogcuffed victim writhed on the ground, “mmmmphing” helplessly, “but it sure was a genius discovery!”

I was relistening to the "Carter in a pit with a spike in his leg" episode because I remember finding Carter deeply annoying at the time and wanted to see if he would annoy me the same way now that I have actual feelings towards him (he did not, less annoying than some of Wilde's antics actually) and Wilde just stoled a fancy pen for like no reason at all wich is extra funny to me because it means that Wilde got more loot than Howard in the "Howard Carter tries to comit a robbery" episode.
