In his Arms
Summary : Fernando joins you relaxing in a gorgeous warm bath Rating : 16+ Pairing: Fernando Alonso x Reader Word Count : 900 words ONE SHOT!! Trigger Warnings : FLUFF, clean, some small mentions of sex but nothing graphic. Images : curated from Pintrest Authors Note : So there’s one mention of God in this, I am an aetheist but it fitted the story so I hope it’s ok.
Tumblr media
Fernando assured you the dinner wouldn’t go on for too long. He didn’t want to be too late seeing as it was only just the start to the weekend. Initially he wanted you to go with him - he wanted to show you off - but when you found out no one else’s girlfriend (or wife) was attending you wouldn’t be swayed.
Instead, you treated yourself to a massage down at the spa before sending for room service and a bottle of expensive red wine. After all the bill was going to be picked up by AM and Lawrence Stroll had deep enough pockets for you to spoil yourself. Therefore you decidedly went for the Château de Vaudieu (at over two hundred euros a bottle). Fernando sent you a text letting you know dinner was almost over, they were just having a little Digestif before heading back to the hotel and you in particular. You knew all to well what dinner during a race weekend was like for Fernando so although drinks would absolutely be kept to a minimum, sometimes he got back later than he originally planned and you were already sound asleep in bed. Tonight you figured would be no different. So, you decided to traipse through to the gorgeous bathroom and run yourself a bath.
The warm water soothed your skin and mixed with the oils that lingered after your massage making your skin slippery soft to the touch. You sighed, feeling utterly content and serenely happy. The life you had carved for yourself - the one with Fernando - was only going up and you felt so thankful for everything that God had bestowed upon you. Lost in your own mind as you soaked your body in the big hotel bathtub, you missed the sound of the room key pressing against the door. The noise of Fernando arriving home escaped you so you got a shock when you heard him call out for you. The bubble filled water moved in waves across your flesh, your chest, your shoulders.
“In here my love…” You had left the door open, too preoccupied by stepping into the tub to care to close it, and Fernando slowly waltzed in. His eyes cascaded as the water had done moments before. Travelling down your breasts, your navel and below. His eyebrows raised and a smirk danced upon his lips. “Maybe I should have stayed home.” His voice laced with confidence. You noticed his hand behind his back and wondered what he was hiding, concealing behind his body. But he didn’t linger.
“What are those for?” You gasped upon his reveal. A bouquet of stunning white roses were held by his wide tanned hand. “An apology…” he stated and you were relieved when he followed it up by telling you; “for leaving you tonight.” Fernando was a romantic. A real, true, old school romantic. He was always spontaneously spoiling you; bringing you flowers, pieces of jewellery, luxury handbags and other things he saw that made him think of you. He whisked you off to stunning destinations and sent you sentimental voice notices. You felt more than loved by him. You felt adored. And even more so now as his eyes continued to roam across your shiney damp flesh.
“Is there any space left in there for me?” Fernando was cheeky in his tone and it sent a flutter of eager butterflies fluttering down deep in your stomach.
Now it was your turn to play voyeur. Intently you watched as Fernando began to undress. His shirt going first. His masculine, virile body now on full display to you and you felt your mouth water as you drunk him in. He liked you watching him undress - it was something you had established in the first few months of your relationship - and you watched him swallow as he undone his belt. The remainder of his clothes fell down on to the marble floor. His naked form made your breath quicken. There wasn’t a single part of him you didn’t love.
You pulled yourself up from your lounging position and made room for Fernando to sink in behind you. The pair of you had done this before and so you knew exactly where the night would ultimately end up. But for now, you were content just to feel him. He stepped into the water and lowered himself down, legs spread for you to slot between. His body was firm and sturdy behind you as he gently pulled you back against him. His body-heat and soft, supple body flexed as you adjusted so you were comfortable.
Fernando’s arms wasted no time winding themselves around your body underneath the now shared bath water. Palms glided down your ribcage. Fingertips descending lower until they sat lazily upon your stomach. His lips placed a tender, delicate kiss upon the the flesh of your neck after your head rolled back to rest against his shoulder. A relaxing moan escaped freely from you. Just as satisfied now as you knew you would sure be later on after the bath had been forgotten about and Fernando was making your pleasure the ultimate prize. But for now, you were just happy to be in his arms, enjoying the fact he came home to you.

50 Random Character Asks: Asami Sato
You're lucky I love her.
1. Canon I outright reject
That she and Korra are soulmates. I think that was in a comic? Anyway no, after a few months of trying out a relationship in their early 20s they realize they want different things and break up more or less amicably.
2. A canon or headcanon hill I will die on
Asami is actually bad at stuff! She's not perfect at everything all the time!
3. Obscure headcanon
As fearless and caring as she is Asami is also a bit squeamish and is not great with sick people because she's a sympathy vomiter.
4. Favorite line
"Why would there be fence posts but no fence?" Girl for a genius you were so close.
5. Best personality trait
Selfless without being a doormat.
6. Worst personality trait
Gets angry when she's hurt instead of admitting how she really feels.
7. Age/height/weight headcanon
She's 18-22 in canon, 5'9", 140lbs or thereabouts mostly because she's tall and all muscle.
8. Unpopular opinion about them
She's interesting and loveable all by herself without being Korra's girlfriend. She went four seasons without dating Korra but most of the fandom is only interested in her as part of a pairing that wasn't even in the original material. If you ever look up "facts about Asami" more than half of it is about her dating Korra. It's infuriating. She's a person on her own! I hate that the franchise and the fandom have reduced her to the "and girlfriend" tag along of the main character when she has so much to give just as herself.
9. Scene that first made me love (or hate) the character
Her standing up to her dad in The Aftermath. As someone who also idolized a dad who turned out to be a misguided asshole I can tell you that shit is hard. She should get a medal and a hug.
10. Best moment on screen (or in the book)
Tumblr media
I love everything about this.
11. Faceclaim for the role
Tumblr media
Arden Cho
12. Crack headcanon
Asami is a slob. She might look put together but her house is a mess and she's always losing stuff amid the jumble of things in her handbag. She grew up with a cleaning service and it shows.
13. Dumbest thing they’ve ever done
Trying to get with Mako again in Book 2. No. What were you thinking? You're so awesome, go find somebody, anybody who isn't the guy who ghost-dumped you for his "friend" six months ago! (eh HEM I even have a suggestion)
14. Most heroic moment
I was going to say standing up to her father in B1 or flying a biplane in combat conditions in B2 or kicking people in the face on top of a moving train or flying a basically untested piece of mecha onto a robot colossus, but I actually think it's this:
Tumblr media
It's really hard to forgive someone.
15. Worst thing they’ve ever done
Nothing, Asami has never done anything wrong in her life and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise.
kissing Mako in B2
16. Deepest darkest secret they won’t even admit to themselves
Asami is scared that she won't know how to be a mother when the time comes because she didn't really have one. Her dad mostly had staff to do the childcare parts of being a father but she doesn't want that for her family. Asami does want kids, she's pretty sure, but she never quite knows what to do with them and has no idea how she'll balance that with her own interests and ambitions. She's not interested in a stay at home role and finds herself attracted to people who are also as ambitious and dedicated to their interests as she is. She looks at people like Pema or even Korra who seem like such natural moms and then at people like Lin who are all about their career and doesn't see herself in any of them. Asami is desperate for a role model of a strong career woman with a loving family who can tell her how to have it all. Izumi
17. Quotes, songs, poems, etc. that I associate with them.
youtube
18. What they’d go to see a therapist about
Having her mother murdered at home. Having her father and idol try to kill her before being sent to prison for treason for funding and then leading an effort to overthrow the government right under her nose, then being murdered after she decides to try to forgive him and have a relationship again. Always coming in second place after the thing the person she loves loves more than her, and always being relied upon to put her own needs aside for the greater good. Being treated as a hot chick by everyone who meets her but rarely engaged intellectually. Asami Sato, half ATM, half meat slab.
I think Asami needs a lot of therapy tbh.
19. Vices/bad habits
She drinks too much when she's sad.
20. Scars
One on her collarbone from when she broke it riding her motorbike at 16.
21. Drink of choice (not just alcoholic)
I think she'd be into flavored fizzy waters.
22. Best physical feature
Um, all of her? Have you seen this girl? But if you ask her she'd say her hair.
23. If they were a scented candle, what would they smell like?
Lavender and engine oil.
24. Most annoying habit
She chews on the ends of pens whether they're her pens or not.
25. 3 things they’d want to take with them if they were dropped off in the middle of nowhere
Utility knife, a bunch of snacks, duct tape. She'd be fine.
26. What they would do if stuck in an elevator with [insert character of your choice from the same fandom]
It doesn't matter who she's stuck with because she fixes the elevator.
27. Their guilty pleasure
Sneaking chocolate into the spa so she can eat it while soaking in the hot pool.
28. How they feel about [insert character of your choice from the same fandom]
Can't answer this without a victim but Asami generally likes anyone unless they've crossed her, in which case watch the fuck out.
29. Eating habits
Asami cannot cook to save her life but generally tries to keep it healthy, which means a combination of salads, instant soup, and takeout. These are all things she can make. She finds it weird to keep a cook just for herself. Once she's married she happily lets her partner or hired help do the cooking.
30. Sleeping habits
Night owl, heavy sleeper, stomach sleeper under a big pile of blankets. Her partner sometimes checks to make sure she's still breathing.
31. If the had a tumblr what would it look like?
Just pictures of hot cars and the occasional Taylor Swift quote. I think she's more of a gamer geek than a fandom geek.
32. Something guaranteed to make them smile/laugh
Asami's feet are quite ticklish. Tickle her feet and she'll laugh whether she wants to or not.
33. Something guaranteed to make them cry
Being dumped.
34. How they react when they are feeling X emotion (sad, angry, excited, scared, etc.—can specify as many as you like)
For a very social person Asami saves her strongest emotions for more private moments. She gets a big smile and will do group hugs when she's excited but in canon we almost always see her turning away or leaving the room when she's upset or scared rather than seeking comfort. The only exception I think is in book 1 where she opens up to Mako about her mom. So I think if she was in a loving relationship she might get a cuddle if she's sad.
35. Their idea of a perfect day
At the beach with a group of close friends, alternating between swimming, games, and sitting under an umbrella with her sketch pad and a pretty little fruity drink. At some point there are massages. She magically doesn't get sunburned. She ends the day tired and happy and feeling loved and relaxed.
36. Their favorite season
Summer. It's the best season for racing and cute outfits.
37. What they really think about themselves
Asami knows that she's pretty and smart and successful. There's no false modesty there. But sometimes she wonders if that will ever be enough for someone or if there's something wrong with her because she keeps being left behind all the same. It takes a lot of steady unflinching love to get her over that final insecurity.
38. Favorite holiday
All of them! Asami loves holidays and celebrations of all kinds. Especially the ones that come with cookies.
39. Favorite game
Assuming auto racing is not a game, kuai ball. She would have said pai sho but she beats most opponents so fast that the only people she really enjoys playing with are Commander Bumi and General Iroh. She and Bumi have a standing game the first Sunday of the month right up until his death.
40. Favorite book
Asami doesn't have a single favorite book and rarely re-reads, but she's very partial to the kind of edge-of-your-seat gory sci-fi thriller that usually involves a lot of people being eaten. I also peg her as a horror movie fan; the more ridiculous and bloody the better.
41. If they could have lunch with anyone in the world (living or dead, from any fictional universe or the real world), who would it be?
The easy answer is her mom. Barring that, everyone tells her she would have loved Sokka so I think she'd be curious to meet him.
42. 3 comfort items
Warm food, warm blankets, and the smell of her workshop.
43. 3 favorite foods and 3 they despise
Love: sesame sticks, pork and chive dumplings, pistachio ice cream. Despise: Gommu's street gruel, tomato carrots, anything served with the head still on it.
44. Their happiest memory
Asami still vividly remembers her first pro-bending championship game. Her team won and she screamed herself hoarse before going to get victory ice cream with her friends.
45. Their favorite celebrity
Korra
46. The person they most admire
I think she'd really admire female world leaders like Suyin or Firelord Izumi. Maybe even Kuvira up until she decided not to step down.
47. Their dream job
Stock car racer or pro-bender.
48. Scariest moment of their life
Being ejected from the hummingbird suit.
49. Favorite toy as a child
She had a doll named Yina who she took everywhere. Yina wasn't her baby but rather her pretend sister.
50. A memory they’ve blocked out
Asami was home when her mother was killed. She called the police using the number her parents had shown her but she doesn't remember it.

Maximizing Minimal Space: Smart Tips for Small Closet Organization
Is your small closet bursting at the seams with clothes, leaving you overwhelmed and frustrated? Fret not! With a dash of creativity, strategic planning, and a little help from the experts, you can transform your chaotic wardrobe into a beautifully organized haven. Here’s your comprehensive guide to conquering closet clutter and maximizing every inch of your limited space.
The first step in creating an organized closet is decluttering. Empty your closet and sort your items into categories like tops, bottoms, dresses, and accessories. Take a critical eye to each piece, asking yourself if it still fits, sparks joy, and remains in good condition. Be ruthless—bid adieu to anything that doesn’t meet these criteria. Consider donating or selling items that no longer suit your style but are in good shape.
The effective utilization of vertical space can be a game-changer in a small closet. Install additional shelves or stackable organizers to optimize every inch. Invest in hanging organizers equipped with various compartments to efficiently store accessories like scarves, belts, and ties. Don’t forget the closet doors—hooks can be a valuable resource for hanging purses, hats, or necklaces. Freeing up vertical space leaves room for larger items on shelves and in drawers.
Get creative with storage solutions to make the most of your closet space. Hanging shoe organizers or transparent shoe boxes keep footwear visible and easily accessible. Foldable fabric bins or storage boxes are perfect for stowing away off-season clothing on high shelves. Hanging rods or cascading hangers efficiently store clothes vertically. Try using tension rods inside the closet to organize scarves or handbags.
After decluttering, take organization up a notch by color coding and categorizing your clothes. Group garments by type (tops, bottoms, dresses) and then organize each category by color. This visually appealing and practical method simplifies finding what you need in a jiffy.
Consider storing seasonal items separately using under-bed storage containers or vacuum-sealed bags. As seasons change, rotate your wardrobe accordingly. This practice not only maximizes space but ensures you have the right clothes at hand for the current season.
Maintain an organized closet by keeping your clothes clean and wrinkle-free. Professional dry cleaning, laundry, and ironing services, such as those offered by Abu Dhabi Laundry Services, are invaluable. Entrust delicate or high-maintenance garments to their expertise, giving you more time to focus on organizing your closet.
Sustaining an organized closet requires regular upkeep. Dedicate a few minutes each week to tidying up and returning items to their designated spots. Promptly put away freshly cleaned and ironed clothes, avoiding piles on the floor. Consistent maintenance is the secret sauce to preserving your closet's orderliness.
Embrace the transformation of your small closet by implementing these practical tips and innovative storage solutions. Bid farewell to clutter and welcome a beautifully organized small closet that makes getting dressed a joy every day! Remember, with a bit of dedication, your space can become a stylish, functional oasis.

For the writing prompt, how about #8 absolute for everyone's favorite Red Devil Mike Stanley and a character of your choice.
Oh, this was fun. I love Mike so much - and he's here playing opposite my OC for All Creatures Great and Small, Isabel!
---
Heaven save her from the Darrowby housewife.
So polite, so well-meaning, so utterly proper - so absolutely afraid to trust her with anything that they would have asked her father for.
Isabel was just getting ready to close the surgery for a spot of lunch when yet another appeared, going-out coat and handbag appropriately matched, lingering in the waiting room to discreetly see which Corbett was running things today, ready to turn back if it wasn't the right one.
Too late -she'd been caught. "Oh, Miss Corbett, I was -"
"My father's out, I'm afraid, Mrs. Stanley," Isabel said, trying not to look hurt. "Was there something I could help you with?"
Mrs. Stanley dithered a moment. "Well, it's - my nephew's visiting, and he's gotten himself into a bit of a scrape, and I didn't like to leave it…"
"I'm sure it's nothing I can't manage, Mrs. Stanley," Isabel assured her, assuming the boy was standing in the waiting room out of sight. "We do a whole course on scrapes in medical school. I'm just washing my hands - have him pop up on the exam table in room two and we'll set him right in no time."
Mrs. Stanley didn't seem to know what to say to that, but she heard a few little agitated noises and the creak of the table, and Mrs. Stanley saying something that he was old enough to wait without her. Boys. Same the world over. It would be a bloody knee or an elbow and she'd still have time to step out for lunch.
She was just finishing drying her hands as she stepped into exam room two, thinking about antiseptics and wound debridement and the scrapes of 12 year old boys, and then came face to face with approximately 6 feet of broad-shouldered, sandy-haired, clean-jawed soldier, his red beret soft in his hands and a winged horse prominent on the shoulder of his jacket. He looked just a little out of place as he swung his legs over the side of the exam table, his head (and one very nasty looking cut) very nearly brushing the overhead light.
Isabel stopped dead. "Goodness."
He smiled - a rather disarming look. "Not what you were expecting, was it?"
Isabel could feel the blush clear through to her bones. "She said nephew and... I ....assumed - someone smaller."
The smile got wider. "And before I assume - Is it actually Miss Corbett, or Doctor?"
"Doctor, actually."
"Then it sounds like I'm in very safe hands." His head made another very near miss with the light. "Do I still need…"
"Oh, no, of course not." Isabel gestured for him to get off the table and sit down in the exam room's chair, and busied herself for a moment with preparing her tray, the alcohol swab and sticking plaster and forceps.
He made himself comfortable in the much lower chair and she pulled the tray closer so she could get a look at his head. He smelled different from her usual - aftershave rather than soap, wet canvas instead of wool. The cut on his head had already started scabbing, though it seemed fairly deep. "Should I ask?"
He smiled widely at that. "I can tell you anyway - there was a difference of opinions on the niceties of overseas service. You may see the other gentleman in later with a goose-egg on the back of his head and a black eye from where I laid him out."
Isabel nodded, dabbing expertly at the cut. It was reassuring, somehow, that even he shivered with the sting of the alcohol swab. "So, where were you, overseas?" she asked, just to be polite and make conversation. "It's the Paras, isn't it? Your beret."
He glanced up at her between her arms and the forceps she was using for the swab. "Doctor Corbett is very well informed. Did you serve?"
"Just here at home," she said, feeling very foolish about that answer. "Farmers with sprains and bad backs and hernias."
If he thought less of that, he didn't say anything, only nodded. "France, and Holland, and then Malaya. Only just got home a few weeks ago. Doing a tour 'round the relatives, see if we can scare something up for a job. There was a lead for a farm manager, and I thought I'd give the interview a go. Gave Aunt Mabel a turn last night, that's for sure. Still adjusting a little bit to civvy street, you might say."
"I think they'll think twice about disagreeing with you down at the Drovers'." She brushed his hair out of the way and carefully patted the bandage and plaster into place, neatly covering up the wound. "And Dales folk always like someone who speaks their mind," she added with a smile. "I think that's you sorted, then."
"And what do you like, Doctor Corbett?"
She looked down and realized his eyes were a rather startling shade of greeny-blue, and they were looking up at her with a frankness she hadn't seen in a long time - since London, really, and school. A look between equals - a look of interest. "It's Michael, by the by," he added, for effect. "Or Mike, if you like."
She stepped back and looked at him again, very carefully, the smile and his laughing eyes. "I like the pies down at the Queen's Arms," she said, choosing her words carefully. "I can take forty minutes for lunch. And I like being called Isabel, when it suits."
To judge by the smile, it suited Mike Stanley just fine.

The Art of Collecting: How to Curate a Stunning Collection of Luxury Items
The Art of Collecting: How to Curate a Stunning Collection of Luxury Items
In today’s world, the allure of luxury items is stronger than ever. From high-end fashion to rare collectibles, the desire to own something unique and valuable drives many enthusiasts. But how does one go about curating a stunning collection of luxury items? Here are some tips to help you start your journey. To get more news about Buy wow items, you can visit lootwow.com official website.
Understanding Your Passion The first step in curating a collection is understanding what truly excites you. Are you drawn to luxury handbags, branded shoes, or perhaps rare watches? Identifying your passion will help you focus your efforts and make informed decisions. For instance, if you have a penchant for luxury handbags, you might want to explore brands like Hermès, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton. Each brand has its own unique history and style, which can add depth to your collection.
Research and Knowledge Once you’ve identified your area of interest, it’s crucial to immerse yourself in research. Knowledge is power when it comes to collecting luxury items. Read books, follow industry news, and join online forums where enthusiasts share their insights. Understanding the history, craftsmanship, and market trends of your chosen items will help you make informed purchases. For example, knowing the difference between a limited edition and a mass-produced item can significantly impact the value of your collection.
Building Relationships Networking is an essential part of collecting luxury items. Building relationships with reputable dealers, auction houses, and fellow collectors can open doors to exclusive opportunities. Attend industry events, exhibitions, and auctions to meet like-minded individuals and gain access to rare finds. Establishing a rapport with dealers can also lead to insider tips and early access to new releases.
Authenticity and Provenance One of the biggest challenges in collecting luxury items is ensuring authenticity. Counterfeit goods are rampant in the market, and falling victim to a fake can be a costly mistake. Always buy from reputable sources and request certificates of authenticity. Provenance, or the history of ownership, is also crucial. Items with a well-documented provenance are often more valuable and desirable. For instance, a handbag previously owned by a celebrity can fetch a higher price at auction.
Preservation and Care Maintaining the condition of your luxury items is vital for preserving their value. Proper storage, cleaning, and handling can prevent damage and deterioration. For example, luxury handbags should be stored in dust bags and kept away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. Regularly clean and condition leather items to keep them looking their best. Watches should be serviced by professionals to ensure they remain in perfect working order.
Diversifying Your Collection While it’s important to focus on your primary passion, diversifying your collection can add interest and value. Consider branching out into related areas. If you collect luxury handbags, you might also explore high-end accessories like scarves, belts, and jewelry. Diversification can also protect your investment by spreading risk across different types of items.
Enjoying the Journey Finally, remember that collecting luxury items should be a joyful and fulfilling experience. Enjoy the thrill of the hunt, the satisfaction of a well-researched purchase, and the pride of owning something truly special. Share your passion with others and take pleasure in the stories behind each item in your collection.
In conclusion, curating a stunning collection of luxury items requires passion, knowledge, and dedication. By understanding your interests, building relationships, ensuring authenticity, and caring for your items, you can create a collection that not only brings you joy but also stands the test of time.
