I got tagged by @redchikittymeow and @xieyaohuan in this "Get to Know Me Better" game, so here I am.
Last Song I Listened To: "Come On" by Mushroomhead. One of my favourite metal bands, up until both of their vocalists Waylon Reavis and Jeff Hatrix left.
Currently Reading: The Chucky comic series they did at Devil's Due. I got it for Christmas, it's a fun little four part mini-series.
Currently Watching: I just finished rewatching the English dub of Hamtaro. I used to love it as a kid, very nostalgic. They used to air dubbed anime on YTV in Canada as the voice acting was done in Vancouver. My shit was the dubs of Hamtaro and Cardcaptors. It's funny to hear the Ed, Edd n' Eddy voice actors in there too.
And here's a crappy little gif of some drawing I'm working on. Black Noir has entered goblin mode.

Video Games: reboots or remastered editions I want to see Part 1
Tumblr media
Hi everyone,
I am not being paid, this is fan entertainment post.
Ok lately I have been feeling nostalgic about games I used to play when I was younger. The other day I found a game playthrough of Cartoon Network Summer Resort, that game there reminded me so much of the old computer flash games I use to play, I then found Trick or Treat Beat! Courage the Cowardly Dog Creep TV and a few other games as well.
That got me thinking about the old game station game that I used to play all the time.
Now that I am older and game stations have advanced to the point where some of the games are a little harder to play on, I wanted to write down my thoughts and see if people have played the games I used to play and also wish that they would get remastered or rebooted for the game stations of today.
So, basically, I would love anniversaries packs where it would have all the games or a set number of games for like the switch or other game stations. (I would like it if they had physical releases as well.)
The Hamtaro games- All of them- I remember getting the first game for the Game Boy Color, I played the heck out it and my sibling also loved this game too, I remember we were trying to figure out how to get the last hamster back to Boss’ clubhouse and Cappy was the hardest, until by total accident we figure it out (and it open a whole new can of worms to get him.) I also loved playing HamHam Heartbreak, I love the story and how we had Bjiou helping us. I would love to have a physical copy that had all the games for the switch.  Some of the other Hamtaro games I haven’t played because I remember it was so hard to track them down for affordable price. So, yes, I want all the game Hamtaro games for the switch physical copy.
The Scooby Doo games- I remember when my family got a PlayStation 2 and we got a bundle of games, I remember Dark Cloud, Scooby Doo Night of 100 Frights were the two games I play the most of. But I also remember Scooby Doo Unmasked, Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase, there are so many Scooby Doo games I would love to see a bundle set for the new gen consoles.
Xena Warrior Princess- This was one of the first video games I have ever played, this game was for the PS1. I remember fondly sitting with my older sibling we would take turns watching and reading to whoever was playing the strategy guide that we had directing them to find all the power ups so we could see what they could do. We both grew up watching the Tv show of Xena and Hercules. This game is one of my all-time favorites. I still get scared in the Labyrinth level with all the spiders and then the Minotaur coming around the corner boding Xena if you weren’t fast enough to hit him with the chakram and all the wrapped victims that we had to use to trigger puzzles. My favorite level was the Hades levels. Seriously, WE GOT TO GO TO THE UNDERWORLD AND MEET HADES!!!!!!
SpongeBob SquarePants- Much like Scooby, I remember playing games from the PS1 and PS2. The big one I want is them to make SpongeBob SquarePants the Movie for the Switch.
Coraline- one of my favorite books/movies I have both the PS2 and the Ds game. I loved how they differ from each other but the PS2 was my favorite. I want to have that version on the Switch.
Dark Cloud- As I said above, these were some of the first games I played on the PS2, I loved playing this game so much. I did remember when laying out the town after the antagonist and poofed everything, I didn’t understand how to put down the buildings, but once I did that open more game play of talking to the people that lived in a town and seeing how they wanted their house to be built. I remember one of the requests was someone wanted their house facing the sunrise or something like that.
Now here are some ideas for games I want to see
Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School- I seriously would love to have a game where we got to go to Miss Grimwood’s School.
Ever After High- I loved watching the web series of Monster High and Ever After High and was disappointed that they stopped. One of the Monster High games gave an Easter egg to Ever After High.
I would love to have a new Hamtaro game. I loved the old games, but I really want to see a new game with all our favorite Hamsters.
Now, I will probably add to the is if I have any more ideas other games, but for now these are the ones that I would love to see get a new updated version of or if they just ported to Switch or something.

Hi hi!
I wanted to come check on you! Have you remembered to eat today? And have you drank water? And have you drank water in the past hour? If not please do!!
Also I was wondering what was the first fandom you got into? When did you start watching anime? Also when did you start one piece and how far along are you? I've been hesitant to watch one piece since it's like 1,000 episodes! -🪽
Hello again, lovely 🪽 anon! Yes, I have eaten and had plenty of water :) Thank you for checking on me 💜💜 Are you taking care of yourself?? I sure hope so~
Ooof...I think the first anime was either Sailor Moon or Hamtaro but I wasn't really deep in the fandoms (I think I was 5 or 6). So...I think the first fandom I was really into was DBZ. It's so nostalgic for me. I remember spending hours drawing the characters. My older brother and I were both super into it, so it was a huge bonding experience for us. There was one summer when we spent so many late nights binge watching it, playing the video games, going on late night drives to the store to buy more of the video games...So the anime still has such a special place in my heart.
I know exactly what you mean! That number is so intimidating and it was for me too! I started watching it in mid-December and am caught up with the anime. It's funny though...I put off watching One Piece for so long, but when I started watching it (maybe around episode 400) I was sad because it didn't feel long enough.

Talk to me about Ultraman
I grew up in a small fishing village in southern Alaska in the 1990s, we didn't have television until I was 6 or 7. When we did have it, it was connected to three or four public-access television stations, controlled by a broadcast relay system in a nearby town. This basically meant that someone was there watching television, then broadcasted what they were watching down the line to places without TV service. And every Saturday I'd park myself in front of the television and turn on a different channel than the one they broadcasted kid's cartoons on, because on the weekends there was one very specific broadcaster who really liked hijacking the station to watch dubbed anime and Japanese game shows. And they really really liked Ultraman, and I learned to love it through their eyes, and every Saturday it was a race to see how much of the episode I could see before my little brother switched it back to Kirby or Hamtaro. So yeah, Ultraman occupies a really weird nostalgic place in my brain that I don't think about very often, and to this day I don't think I've ever actually seen an entire episode, and I don't think I could tell you any of the names of any of the characters. But I love it because a nerdy lonely isolated kid in the 90s loved it, even if I'm not that kid anymore.

Inuyasha, Medabots, Pokémon, Hamtaro... ooouyghhhhh 💖💖💖💖💖
( @verykissablepixels )
Yeah I kinda do. I haven't watched Medabots though, I just thought the dog was cute! I have heard of it however! Was it one of those shows on Foxbox? I missed the boat on that and only really came in around the Kirby/Sonic X era.

Okay, but am I?
honestly, no, probably not. But I have lately been nostalgic/longing for several things:
tropical stuff, because the summer I had this year was mostly rainy and short, and I didn't get to go to the beach
2. super girly games that were fun and a little bit challenging like Hamtaro: Rainbow Rescue and Princess Debut
3. Mermaid. GAMES! There are like zero good mermaid games out there and its honestly a travesty. I think If I was the first person to make one that would get me the tiniest bit of validation? Because I know lots of people want them but they just aren't there.
4. A time in my life where I would just DO projects and not think about the consequences, but just sit down and do as much as I could because it was fun, not because it would make me any money or advance my career or all the dumb things I worry about these days.
so, that's all. I'm going to take this as far as I can, and use it as a learning opportunity more than a finished project. But hey if you like mermaid games feel free to tag along. There's probably something interesting here for you if so.

Hi Sid. It's obvious you love Inuyasha (as do I) ❤️. Are there any other other animes you enjoy? ☺️
Hey there!
I’ve enjoyed other animes, yes. Not as much as Inuyasha, tho. And I certainly didn’t get as invested. They are, in no particular order:
Yu-Gi-Oh!
Tumblr media
Pokémon
Tumblr media
Dragon Ball
Tumblr media
Those were my favorites. I know it’s a pretty basic list, but that’s because I used to watch them when I was a child. Netflix wasn’t a thing and I didn’t have the means nor the knowledge to watch it online, so I was dependent on a Network to keep up with them. That’s how I discovered Inuyasha.
I remember every day was a new episode. You had to stay tuned not to miss it. And sometimes I did. Which is why I haven’t watched all of them start to finish. Also, in some cases, the Network wouldn’t transmit the next season for a reason or the other and you didn’t get to know how it ended.
Anyway. I think Yu Gi Oh! it’s on Netflix. Maybe one day I'll rewatch it start to finish. My cousin and I used to collect the cards. It was awesome. The same for Pokémon! Here in Brazil we have a soda called Guaraná and back in the day, Pokémon toys came with it as a gift for kids to collect:

-SLAMS DOOR OPEN- 5 and 36!
5. Game with the best soundtrack?
That one is very tough! Every Katamari game definitely, Paper Mario TTYD and SPM, Warioland 4 soundtrack has a very special place in my heart. Smash games always have great OSTs but Melee is my fav.
Touhou games Obvi but if I had to choose? IN, HSIFS, PoFV, SA, and MoF.
Also Zelda games have to be mentioned too, but I think MM and OoT win music for me.
ALSO GENUINELY? THE STYLE SAVVY GAMES HAVE SUCH AWESOME SOUNDTRACKS. Please play Style Savvy, Styling Star has some great songs.
Also I wouldn't call it the best, but all the Gen 2 Pokemon music is very nostalgic to me.
36. Best antagonist?
Dimentio Super Paper Mario Changed Everything.
If it's villains in general, Doopliss is my fav, but as far as the BIG big bads go? Dimentio. He's so much fun. AND SPAT HAMTARO HAM HAM HEARTBREAK, HE LITERALLY IS AN ICON.
UGH. AND RAVEN BEAK FROM METROID DREAD!! I'm such a big Mother Brain lover, but Raven Beak was just fantastic and how he tied into the story, he's by far my favorite Metroid antag from a story perspective.
OH RIGHT Higurashi is a game so. Miyo Takano the girlboss of all time. 💖 Genuinely one of my favorite written antags, I feel like you don't see a lot of characters like her.

Yesterday, I was exploring the different genres of anime and finding which one would be right for me. It feels awkward being in my early 30s watching a kodomomuke anime or shoujo anime. Those may be a little too childish for me. I learned kodomomuke animes are like for little kids. Pokemon and Hamtaro are examples of kodomomuke. Shoujo is targeted to young girls(preteen and adolescents) which would be the magical girl type of shows like Sailor Moon or animes that take place in school settings. Josei would be for women(like myself). Shounen is marketed to mostly a male audience, primarily young boys - famous examples would be Dragon Ball Z and Naruto. Seinen anime would cater to the interest of adult men. I notice that I do not like a lot of violence or anything too chaotic. Fantasy does not really do it for me - like fairytales, witches, goblins, vampires, etc. I thought the characters in Vanitas No Carte were cute, but I could not really get into the plot.
I was first getting into My Hero Academia with the first 3 episodes, but it started to lose me when the plot got a little too wild with some violence. I browsed to see if slice of life(more down-to-earth genre) would suit me. I checked out Silver Spoon, but it got kind of bland. I realize that I like some drama and I like stories. I even may like romance. I'm quite feminine. Oddly, my musical interests however are not particularly feminine. I don't like anything too soft and sappy or poppy. When it comes to anime, Josei would be suited for me. Josei does not necessarily have to involve a leading female protagonist. I started watching this anime called Shouwa Genroku Rakugo and so far, I like it.
BTW, this is not telling anyone what they should and should not watch based on their age group. It is okay for an adult to enjoy a little Pokemon or Sailor Moon for nostalgic feelings. I sometimes watch Pokemon - It just would not be something I could watch all the time or for long periods.
