The lil explination: Hikari is trying to teach the boys how to use Chi in all of its ninja magic glory by teaching the first step and easiest task, making its form of a ball of energy appear before you. (The boys begged her to do this when she really didn't want to)
Warning ⚠️ : EXTREMELY LONG READ
As she stared at the four sitting from tallest to smallest instinctively, she sighed heavily. Hikari really didn't want to do this. It wasn't because she couldn't, or that she didn't want them to learn, moreso, the fact that she doesn't see herself as a good teacher.
Before this point had been reached where she's standing in front of them hands behind her back as eager eyes focus on every muscle twitch she makes; she had been begging her brother to do it instead. But he denied. Saying he wasn't that good of a teacher either, despite the fact that he was the one that taught her how to use a sword in the first place. She went to her mother and master splinter next, who currently, are sitting beside the tree watching in interest. Curiously one could say. They, too, said no. With some mumbo jumbo wise bullshit about how they asked her to be their teacher and yadda yadda responsibilities and take pride and blah blah.
So now she was stuck with a choir of spectators watching her back as a quartet of students watched her front and she silently panics.
"Uhh…, M-Makoto?" A soft voice spoke, breaking the silence and snapping her out her thoughts. She shot her head up to see Leo calling out to her. His deep blue eyes cautiously staring back into hers.
"You okay?" With a heavy heart she replied truthfully,
"No Hamato. I'm not. In all honesty I have no idea what I'm doing. I never taught anyone before, so this is really new…" she fretted looking away from the boy with a slight blush and a embarrassed sweat drop running down her head. She shook it off though and brought her smile back ten fold. Squeezing her hands to a confident pair of fist in front of her she nods,
"Don't worry though, I'm gonna teach ya something simple first. So that we'll all take it easy!"
"Yay!" Mikey cheered. His brother smiled at Hikari's regaining confidence and continued to wait patiently. Tanoshi slid up beside Hikari and raised a hand to block her mouth but the guys could hear her just fine as she not so discreetly whispered to her sister,
"How simple are we going here sis, because like you said before…they barely have any Chi in them."
"Hey!" Donnie huffed taking offense although it was a fact. Tanoshi flinched at his reaction and Hikari cringed thinking about it herself.
"Just s-simple okay! That's all everyone needs to know!" Hikari says with a wavy smile as she pushes her sister out of the way. She stumbled away cartoonishly back to her tall purple sibling and turned around to watch with glee.
"So, let's begin." She sings with a beaming smile.
Taking in a deep breath herself first she raises her hands up above her and lowers them down to her center. Right under her breast and right above her torso. She then brings them together in a straight handed prayer, raising it up slowly up to the center of her chest. Only to open her hands like a book and surprise the boys as if she just did magic for what was in front of her.
Floating before her, hovering right above her palm was a ball of literal light, a little under a soccer ball in size. It illuminated the room more than the lights they had in here ever could. And it bathed Hikari in this angelic glow, making her light milk chocolate skin shine ever brighter. As everyone marveled at the spectacle before them Hikari's worries and fears.all washed away as she stared deep into the ball of light. It's warmness eased her muscles and mind that she gave it a smile so genuine that it yoinked all the attention away from a certain blue clad mutant in the room.
Hikari than began to speak,
"The definition of Chi; C-h-i, in any textbook you might find, states: the circulating life force whose existence and properties are the basis of much Chinese philosophy and medicine. It's literal spelling; qi - meaning air, or breathe. One of the foundations of acupuncture is still really popular, because people believe in this "myth" of a life force. But of course, we, innovative Japanese folk, had to find out if this was true." The description of ancient Japan made Chiyo and Splinter chuckle quietly.
"If this qi life force the Chinese speak of is real. If it can be physically manifested into your own palm. We now have this as a result." She says gently gesturing to the ball of light that rests lightly above her hand by jutting it forward ever slightly.
The boys woah in wonder. The girl smiles as a result.
"This is my Chi. The extra invisible life force that courses through my veins. The reason for all my overflowing energy and charisma. The reason my heart beats." She pauses and looks at the boys,
"This is technically my soul." She sighs,
"Without this I wouldn't be able to function. I wouldn't be able to breathe. I wouldn't be able to,. . . live essentially." She explained further but to simplify she tells the boys that Chi of any shape and size exist in all things living or not. Inanimate objects that harbor Chi are basically just the atoms that acompus its form. While the chi in living things like they and her are their life force that keep them chugging. Like the coal used for their engine of a body.
Raph raised a finger halfway in the air,
"Okay so," He interrupted. Leo sent him an incredulous glare.
"How does that let you do all the cool magic stuff?" Hikari deadpanned with her eyes.
"It's not magic…" she sighed slightly annoyed.
"It's kinda like magic." Raph countered shrugging, making Gekido shout.
"Will you shut up and let her talk, big head!"
"You're the one with the big head!" Raph roared back.
Snap! Snap!
"Focus!" Hikari asked, snapping with one hand. Keeping the ball of Chi in the other. Raph groweld a bit then got it back together when Leo nudged him. Sighing the girl continued.
"If you want to achieve the many amazing things that come with controlling Chi you need to first get used to seeing it." She brought her hands to get chest with the Chi following her motions.
"Feeling it. Understanding it."
The boys watch in wonder as the Chi fades into her chest and woah again like they did the first time. Opening her eyes again she was met with the same eyes as before but for some reason she felt more at ease now and smiled adorably back.
"Do you guys remember the hand and arm movements I did to summon my chi?" Hikari asked simply.
"Uh-" Mikey droans while the red and blue brother stay silent out of omission. But Donnie,
"Yes!" He cheerfully responds back. Raph side eyes him and mutters,
"Kiss up."
"Shut up." Donnie hisses back
"Guys. . ." Mikey huffed
"Will you cut it out!" Leo barked. But it was Hikari's laughter that caught their attention. She was chuckling at their dynamic. Funny, it wasn't only her but the other three sisters as well. They saw themselves unironically, and it was a little bit relieving to see that they weren't the only ones who couldn't keep it together during training most of the time.
"Now I know what you mean Yoshi…" Chiyo sighed heavily as both a slide snarky remark to both of their students behaviors which caused the girls to straighten up a tad, little giggles and sputters here and there till it's ended.
"Hehe, c'mon relax." Hikari tells the boys.
"I'm gonna guide you so that were all on the same page. Okay?" Rounding them all she ends up behind Mikey, and asked,
"Mikey, may I?" Letting her palms out slightly above his head. Lifting his giant green three fingered hands up, wiggling them happily he sings,
"Of course-a-roony!" Leo thins his lips a tad at the sight.
"Thank you~! Follow along please." She then raises his hands up to the ceiling. Bringing them together, his brother following along seamlessly.
"Deep breaths in, let it out slowly when you reach the middle of your capacity. And I mean s l o w. . ." She repeats.
"I'm sure you've all done meditation more than me. In fact I'm sure of it, I just can't do it—"
"Why?" Mikey suddenly says mid relaxation while she let go of his hands and he went to redo the movements on his own. It snapped the teen out of her blind ramblings.
"Hm?" She hummed unsure what the orange bandana boy was talking about till he repeated himself with no additional information
"Why?" Peeking open one eye. With that sweet smiling accompanying it the girl then realized what he meant.
"Oh, uhh I don't know." Hikari shrugged casually. Mikey closed his eyes again and went back to the practice.
"I can't sit still." She waved it off as something nonchalant. But she didn't think this would turn into a topic of interest.
"Mikey can do it." Donnie countered. Hikari huffed. Her smile almost fading off her face but she picked it right back up before anyone noticed.
"Well, from what I know about Mikey so far, is this. Give him an extreme goal and he'll accomplish it no matter what."
"Yessir!" Mikey cheered from the far left of the line.
"Tch-so you're a quitter, princess?" Raph smirked trying his damnedest to get a rise out of her. He's been on a kick like that lately. A kick he doesn't seem to understand that he won't win.
"No. I just know my limits, big guy." She says rounding the boy again to end up behind said red clad brother. Her hands gently touch his making him flinch at the surprise sudden touch, and she helps him lower them to his chest before she feels his muscles ease up completely.
"Like how you should know when to stop talking and focus so that,"
"Woah!" Mikey's voice cut through from the end of line and all of his siblings pause their practice to whip their heads over. Hikari leaned forward over Raph's shoulder to look too and was surprised to see what she did.
"Hikari! Hikari!! Look! I did it, look!" Mikey gushed brightly, his freckled cheeks perked up in delight with that child wonder smile. A ball of light Chi hovering ever so gently above his palms.
The whole room was stunned quiet by the sight. And was it a beautiful sight, indeed. Mikey's lighter green tone than his siblings seems to shine bright thanks to the ball of energy before him. His precious baby blues glimmer with stars in them. He was entranced, like a baby discovering the beauty of fire for the first time. Everyone's faces were stunned, mouth agape, and eyes wide. But Hikari, her face was bright as well. A snarky smirk but proud grin,
"So that you can do that, Raph." She sassed at the red masked brother before her. He blinked out of his stunned from that remark and whipped his head behind him to glare at her a tad before she pranced away to his youngest brother.
"Good job, Mikey. Now treat it nice, and be kind. It is you, after all." She says rubbing his shoulders like a proud older sister. Mikey gasped at her words. Taking them literally the smallest turtle looked at his Chi with that shine back in his eyes again as he whispers,
"Hi me!" Zooming up in front of him when Hikari moved away was Tanoshi who giggled excitedly like the ray of shunine the girls described her to be before,
"Aww, you have a bright one like me!" She bounced on her knees in front of him. He chuckled excitedly with her as they admired the little ball, but everyone's attention was swiftly snatched away from Mikey and Tanoshi when Donnie exclaimed.
"Holy Ions!" Floating a tad higher than Mikey's, but also an entirely different color was Donnies black Chi of energy and light. Everyone started and gave the reaction as Mikey's but Kagaku reacted instantly. Applauding ever so lightly hiding her small small smile behind her hands.
"Thank you, Kagaku." Donnie smiled gently at her and she nodded respectfully, letting her applause come to a sweet end, her hands finding each other once more and landing on her legs again.
"Ooh dark chi, that gives me a perfect segway." Hikari smiles as she strides her way towards the tall sibling.
"Thanks Don," The turtle hesitated on his next question, as the sudden noticeable switch in tone made him confused yet cautious and worried.
"Is this a bad thing?" He asked right as she plopped down in front of him and put her hands under his, helping him adjust them ever so slightly so he could cradle his Chi properly. When the question fully digested in Hikari's ears she looked up at him with wide eyes.
"No! Nonono, don't ever think that. Hehe, okay?" She says a bit frantically.
"Please, it's quite the opposite. To most and many, and scientifically— s-see I'm using your words— it's a good thing." She managed to get out with a slightly ragged tone and dialect. This made the boy worry more.
"You really kinda…fought for that?" He says squinting his eyes white his nonexistent eyebrows arch upwards in distress.
"Because I don't want you to be like me." She responds quickly and confidently that the awkward silence that came right after made her internally cringe within herself. She quickly picked it back up though when she looked at Leo and Raph who were looking for a bit only to then go back to practice,
"Or you two if you either have dark chi too. Okay? I'll admit what I said was mostly for me." She says hand to her chest.
"But— what I said is still the truth. This is a good thing." She says with utmost certainty in her voice as she brings and her Donnies hands together again to help him cradle the chi once more.
"Why?" Donnie asked.
"Because," The blue haired girl takes a deep breath as she begins to explain,
"This proves that you know yourself, that you know despite how cheerful and starry eyed I see you most of the time, you are okay with your intrusive thoughts, your inner voice, and the negative feelings sma emotions that you can contrive. Understanding that it isn't defined as bad just negative. That there is no concrete right or wrong. You, like Kagaku, understand that and thrive in that middle ground. That despite the good you spread the morals surrounding them aren't well,"
"Etiquately accepted?" He chimes in.
"Yes." She nods pointing at him. With a soft chuckle she continues,
"Your mind, thoughts, and beliefs may seem dark and twisted to others, you may not see it that way, but understand others point of view and even if you and others disagree you could less because you take pride in your-heh-for better words 'crazy'"
"Huh." He hums in a way that no one can really discern. Was he happy about that? Sad? No one could say. But Kagaku had a strong feeling it was a good hum.
"Heck, I think Kagaku could explain it better for you, as she always tells me," she looked over her shoulder at her sister and Kagaku's holo-pad appeared. The text sprawled read,
"It's just the way of the smart." And Donnie smiled softly at her words.
"So same goes to what I said to Mikey, be nice to it. It is you. And be kind blah blah blah." Hikari waves him off as she knows he's intelligent enough to know how to care for himself.
"I will. Thanks, woah…," he says now completely enthralled with his own chi. With a proud soft nod Hikari goes to stand back up, but,
"What did you mean by not turning out like you?" Raph's question made her hesitate and sit right back down. She looks his way, her soft smile still on her face but her eyes spoke an entirely different story,
"I still don't see a chi sphere in front of ya, big boy." She mocked.
"I want my question answered." He countered. Making the girl have the reasonable reaction of growling at him softly. Leo let out a big sigh and while still doing the motions said,
"C'mon Raph focus…"
"Oh you don't get to talk you didn't even do it either!" Mikey, Donnie, and their counterparts oooh at Leo to that burn making his lip twitch. Hikari noticed and smiled a tad.
"Would you like help?"  She suggested for both boys but they responded quickly,
"No!"
"I got it!" Leo cleared his throat. His 'no' might have come out a bit more aggressive than he wanted. So he corrected himself.
"-ahem- I-I mean, no thank you, Makoto." She pursed her lips to the side, not wanting to believe them but puts faith anyway, shrugging she sighs,
"Hm, okay…," and leans back on her hands, getting comfortable on the ground now. Bouncing to attention however, Mikey cheers her name,
"Hey Hikari! What else can we do now that we got this!"
"Yeah? I have to say my curiosity is only growing stronger the more I stare at it." Donnie chimes as he brings his face closer to the black ball of energy. Unaware of Kagaku's slow progress of getting closer to observe the wonder herself.
"Good. That's how you should feel." Hikari compliments but then begins to ponder. What would the next step be? They only got to know the most basic of the basics, and surprisingly they picked up on it fast. She made sure to make a mental note to ask Splinter later if he's ever used Chi before. Maybe they have inherited talent.
"Hmmm, but I guess our next lesson would be how to make it move." Mikey gasped excitedly and jumped to his feet.
"Teach me now! I wanna know now!" He shouted. Donnie called out his brother warningly,
"Mikey. . ., be nice. Although it would be cool to learn it now, that's not how you ask." He says with a slight manipulative sting towards Hikari. Yeah it would be so super cool of her if she taught them now wouldn't it? 'Jerk.' Hikari thought before Mikey wined and apologized,
"Sorry. I'm just so excited." Hikari giggled at his deflation back towards the floor. Tanoshi put a calming peaceful and understanding hand on his arm.
"We can tell." She chuckled.
"You two could also learn this from Kagaku and Tanoshi you know, we all learned Chi at the same time. Any of us could have been your teachers." Hikari says. But the girls were slick to counter. They weren't gonna let her dump her responsibility onto them.
"Mmnnope!" Tanoshi was the first, putting up an 'X' with her arms for emphasis. Gekido then shook her head while waving her hand across her neck in the cut it out motion,
"Nah!" Hikari wasn't gonna get her. Kagaku then very subtle, so quiet that no one heard other than her sisters, whispered,
"Sorry…" Being the only one apologetic about it. Hikari's smile wavered harshly at that, her proper sitting position slouched and her head lowered in defeat at each of their denials. Katio snickered at his sister's failure. Growling she fires back up defending herself,
"Do you all think I don't have a life?" She hissed,
"Didn't you quit working at Tiana's like five days ago." Gekido countered pointing at her.
"Working is not the only thing I do…"
"Didn't you dump all the student council responsibilities on four eyes?" Tanoshi adds making their mother gasp,
"Hikari!"
"Ma, don't listen to them" Hikari whined back.
"They're lying! And no I didn't dump all of the work on him. Terry wanted to help because he saw me struggling balancing my life. And you all know how annoying determined Terry can get."
"When's the last time you've danced for fun?" Kaito chimed making the girl growl,
"I'm working on it!
"Why am I being attacked!?!" She squealed. Then suddenly,
"Could you all shut up! I can't focus over all of your yelling and yapping! It's making this chi searching crap even harder!" Raph exclaimed but after it was over and he was huffing and puffing out, everyone was looking at him with wide eyes. He didn't seem to notice the new thing besides him.
"Uhh Raph." Hikari smirked.
"WHAT!?" He shouted but then saw her pointing and looked that way. Beside him was a smaller than average black ball of energy.
     "ah-"
"Pfft- Hahahahaha!" Gekido bellowed with laughter. Holding her sides she
"Oh my gosh! Oh, that's comedy gold! Ahahah!"
"Congratulations, you did it." Hikari smiled at him as she watched his face of rage and lividness turn gentle and relaxed.
"Hey, yours is dark too!" Donnie smiled
"Wow. . ." Raph woahed with awe as his hands slowly glided towards his Chi sphere. It attracted to the palms on his hand. He didn't know how the others felt but he had a strong feeling his is the only one that radiated this much warmth from it. Hikari scooted up closer raising her hands up under his as she smirked,
"See told you there'd be something—"
"You ain't say that shut it!" He huffed, earning a wincing a wink from the girl with a cocky tongue out. As he roared she noticed his Chi pulsates with each emphasized inflection.
"Raphael!" Splinter growled making the boy shrink
"But—"
"No no master Splinter it's okay. He's just gonna get less assistance next time." Hikari stood up for Raph while berating him at the same time. As the boy grumbled at her she peacefully examined his achi while Gekido inches closer to the red clad turtles side Leo peeked with one eye open. His blue orbs landed on the same girl with the same color scheme and hesitating opened his mouth. Quickly shutting it closed when he didn't realize he was thinking first reeled his mind back.
Until he couldn't control himself,
"So you're staying our teacher?" He suddenly lets out, even slightly shocked by his own lack of relent, the boy blinks hard when she gives him a proud smile.
"Only when it's about Yokai or Chi." She answered truthfully. She didn't really like the title of teacher that's for sure, and only wanted to keep it assigned to certain topics that won't take over her entire time with them all. He could get behind that,
With an understanding, soft grin raising on his lips the co-leader sighed out,
"Good." In relief. A bit too at ease at the fact she didn't mind teaching them more things. That ease and peace of mind seemed to finally trigger a release in energy within him. A release of exposure to gently tear out from inside his chest.
Before him now floating and illuminating his dark green skin was a white ball of light.
"Hey nice job, Hamato!"
I kinda wanna share my Tmnt fanfic moments as x readers here
The oc's I made are complicated and I don't think many would like them so to filter and share them through this is like the best bet in my head,
Idk if I should though, I'm nervous!

(Always good to hear from you!)
Hamato Hikari is actually quite a flirt around men and has no problem getting attention. Due to his training, he has a nice slender but athletic physique and is VERY flexible. As well as having an attractive somewhat effeminate face, he's popular with the fellas and often goes on dates with a lot of them.
Rather shocking when you first meet him.

In the Bad Future, Hikari doesn't change out of his dragon form because of how defenseless his normal form is. However, in the calm before the storm, Kari and Leo do their best to savour the last moment they have before the rebellion begins.
Kari dies during the rebellion we see in the beginning of the movie. It's near the end where Leo is being supported by Casey--he's shot out of the sky, and collapses onto the ground while Leo and Casey are running. There's no time to grieve.

Hamato Family’s First Visit to the Hidden City
Story request by @rottmntrulesall. Hope you enjoy the story, bud! ^^
"C'mon, everyone! Hurry up!" Michelangelo's impatience was obvious in his excitement. He and his siblings were finally going to show their dad's relatives for the first time to the Hidden City for two reasons; one: to view the many wonders of the other world and two: to have a formal, proper meeting with Draxum's parents. The latter part had instilled some unease into the Hamato siblings, especially Saki who was wary about stepping foot into a mysterious world and was about to see for himself the father and mother of the "monster" who altered his younger brother many years ago.
"Are you sure this place is safe?" Hamato Kenji asked. Raphael glanced at his uncle, understanding his uncle's concerns. "We've been there a lot, Uncle Kenji! We did encounter a few dangers there before but other than that, the people there don't usually attack humans unless provoked." Raph assured his uncle.
"There are a lot of places to visit like the many resorts and spas if you want to have a massage and ooh, Señor Hueso's Run of the Mill Pizza where they make one of the best pizzas! I know the manager of that place, we're amigos~" Leonardo took the chance to quip in.
"I can't wait to see Grandpa Mons again! Wait till you guys meet him yourselves, he's the nicest, sweetest grandpa you'll ever meet! He's still as strong as he's gentle!" Mikey said happily.
"I wonder if Grandma Chemia has some wicked new inventions to show me!" Donatello exclaimed.
"This would be my first time seeing my grandparents, Arachne..." Ariadne whispered to her best friend, Arachne.
"You've never seen them before?" Her friend asked.
"Once when I was a baby... I haven't seen them for years." The yokai femme told Arachne.
"Alright, kids, you've shown us all that you're excited to bring us to visit the Hidden City, Mikey, can you open the portal now?" Splinter asked.
"Sure, Dad!" Mikey got to work quickly.
Draxum felt a tinge of anxiety inside himself. He could not recall the last time he visited his creators ever since he moved out of home to pursue his alchemy researching, away from his parents' constant arguments, half of which is about their preferred methods of raising him. It was a surprise how those two still manage to live under the same roof despite their obvious clashing personalities. He guessed that they tolerated each other just for his sake. His parents had never produced any more offspring after him and one of Arachne’s parents...
"Hey, are you okay, Dad?" A female voice asked him. Draxum jolted from his pondering to find that his daughter, Poison Ivy asking him out of concern. He just gave a small smile as he ran his clawed hands over her helmet. "Am fine, just thinking about your grandparents." He assured her. He marveled how Ivy much had grown from the last time he scientifically created her with his and Lou Jitsu's DNAs; she being so tiny as a developed newborn infant growing in a liquid chamber to a young lady around the boys' ages. From what he knew later on, Splinter raised her along with the Turtles. Ivy had lived her life at first as a normal human teenager until her yokai genes started appearing. The initial discovery of her origins did shake her world but over time, she had learnt to accept and use them to assist her brothers in their adventures. She was intelligent like Draxum and his mother with his father's gentle, mature nature as well as Splinter/Lou's sassiness. She loved to study on botany and coincidently, her powers involved using vines and summoning plant like monsters at will. She recently revealed her sexuality preference as a lesbian and had a girlfriend who is a fellow classmate and witch trainee/apprentice in disguise. Both her creators and siblings were happy for her. As of now, she was cradling her younger sister, Venus de Milo was giggling and squealing as April, Ariadne and Arachne cooed and tickled her belly.
The group watched Mikey draw a symbol on the wall at an alley. Once the symbol was drawn, an open portal revealed. The Hamato siblings' mouths went ajar, not believing what they just saw. "if you think that's mind blowing, you haven't seen nothing yet!" Mikey grinned. His three other brothers and the three girls each took hold of one of their Hamato uncles and aunts's hands. The moment they all jumped into that portal, they found themselves staring at a massive part of a what seemed to be a huge city. The sky above was unlike Earth's skies; instead it was orange with some brown. The architecture of the buildings there were monster shaped with some tall, castle like structures far away from the city. There were a lot of people of all shapes, sizes, colors and appearances walking, running, passing by each other, buying their needs or doing their usual business trades. The Turtle family allowed their Hamato relatives to take in their first view around them. Saki's eyes were bulging out of his sockets, he could not believe for his life what he was seeing. Anthropomorphic, mostly consisting of animal, everyday objects, monstrous and supernatural like individuals roamed every part of the streets around him, he felt as if he was having a strange dream that defied logic! Nori on the other hand, looked right and left, taking in interesting sights that captured her attention. Underneath a calm façade, Kenji was freaking out internally at the new, foreign view. Hiroki was squealing in delight similar to a child had just discovered a world made of toys and sweets. Her twin, Hikari was a bit calmer than his sister, feeling a thrill of danger running through his veins. Last but not least, the youngest Hamato sibling, Mei's stance looked poker face yet she looked around to see if there were any Gothic like people that she can interact with. The Turtles and the girls grinned, seeing the reactions of the others.
"What do you think? Surreal, huh?" They ask.
"Amazing.."
"Fascinating..."
"I can't believe what I'm seeing..."
"Someone please tell me that I'm dreaming..." Saki mumbled, still not believing.
"No, you're not," Draxum replied, going straight to the point with an indifferent expression. "May we please hurry to my parents' house, I bet they're waiting for our arrival..."
"Oh yeah!" Mikey clapped both his hands once. "Lead the way, Draxy!"
Draxum sighed as he took the lead of the group. Along the way, there were a few whispers around and behind Draxum coming from the city people but Splinter and Ivy took hold of both his hands and gave a comforting, assuring squeeze, making him feel better. Ariadne gave her uncle a comforting hand on to his shoulder. They were soon out of the main city square to a further distance into the woods. They had to climb up a hill for a while until they reached a big mansion residing there.
"We are here at last. My childhood home..." Draxum said, looking at the grassy, serene valley below, reminiscing the times where he as a little one ran galloping around the field, cartwheeling with glee among the flowers and his sire teaching him the basics on how to defend himself the predator way. Both father and son spend their days in the early years, sparring with each other...
"Draxum, my son!" The former alchemist warrior villain snapped out of his memories to find himself being engulfed into the arms of none other than his dear, loving old father, Monsrage who brought his only son into a crushing bear hug which knocked the wind out of his lungs. "How have you been, my little baby boy? It's rare that you visit us but it's so wonderful to see you bring your family along! How delightful!" the older yokai gushed, his bushy tail wagging with unlimited enthusiasm like an excited puppy. Monsrage was rather huge and muscular with perked up, pointy ears, silky straight black hair unchanged through time and a fairly long beard to match. Like Draxum before, he wore a battle mask. He had a significant dark upperlip. His body had different shades of blue just like his son, Draxum when he was armored. Monsrage's eyes were the same like Draxum's. His feet in particular, was a noticeable difference. Unlike his wife and son, his feet were shaped like a lion's paws, fitting for him coming from a predator species.
"Father, it's great to see you... but can you please let go now? I can't breathe..." Draxum choked out, being smothered by his sire's busty chest. Monsrage immediately loosened his grip, apologizing profusely while checking to see if he had accidently broken any of his son's bones. Draxum shook his head, smiling a little. His sire had never changed all these years, still a concerned worrywart. And he bet his mother had not either...
Chemia on the other hand, was greeting the rest of the visitors with feverish energy. She was a redhead with shades of pink for her skin colour and her ears, long and drooped. Her eyes had a little twinkle in them, a part of her eccentric personality and plump, red lips. Like her husband, she wore a mask. Donnie, April, Arachne and Ivy were given a whirlwind hug the moment they came in front of her. Monsrage went back to the mansion with his son to give the new visitors, the Hamatos, April, and Arachne a warm greeting as well as welcome his beloved grandchildren with his signature bear hug and proceed to pepper their faces with smooches which they were delighted to have especially Mikey, Ariadne, Ivy and Venus. Monsrage and Chemia ushered them all into their humble abode. The Hamatos were initially skeptical about meeting Draxum's family but they were soon warmed up to them. Later on, the mansion was filled with guffaws of laughter as Monsrage showed them all baby pictures of his son which embarrased the poor warrior scientist. Donnie, April and Ivy were treated to Grandma Chemia's latest creations. Monsrage himself had a blast, playing with Venus and sparring with the Turtles and the girls. Arachne was delighted to meet her grandparents as a young adolescent, telling them about her achievements, adventures and that her own parents are doing well. The Hamatos became comfortable talking with Draxum's parents over some snack delicacies. Overall, everyone had a wonderful time at the Hidden City.
I had fun writing this! Was tiring but oh so worth it.
The Hamato siblings (minus Lou/Splinter) and Venus de Milo belong to @rottmntrulesall while Ariadne and Arachne are the OCs of @mikeykawaii/@mikey-ho. Monsrage, Chemia and Poison Ivy along with the mention of the witch girlfriend belong to me, @mefiman. I hope you don’t mind me incorporating your girls into this story, @mikeykawaii but I’ve been dying to add them in, especially Ari meeting her grandparents! ^^

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Nice, keeping Saki a bit high-maintenance but actually loving and supportive of his little brother! It’s nice that the boys will (hopefully) have a better relationship with him in your story than in my AU story line, even if they’re not blood-related. But hey, family doesn’t stop at blood. Also Saki actually showing his vulnerable and concerned side to Draxum, but sort of accepting him as his brother-in-law! Maybe Lou will let Saki be the Man of Honor, nah that’ll probably go to Kenji.
I know Aimi would’ve loved to meet her grandsons, as well as her future son-in-law. Hope those childhood stories are extra embarrassing!
No problem, I loved that ask. Actually, can you do a drabble of Lou introducing Draxum to his family?
I think I can whip up a little something~ ^v^
---------------------
It was just a few months before their wedding now. One would have thought that he would have ‘met the in-laws’ long before this.
“It’s... complicated,” Lou had admitted, after an afternoon of pacing around their house, talking in Japanese over the phone and his tone ranging from aggravated and sheepish to sincere and even a bit excited. As it turned out, his handsome fiance had siblings. Not just one or two, but six.
“Wait wait, we’ve got other uncles and aunties besides just Shen?” Raph had said, his brothers looking just as confused.
“You do,” Lou had sighed before explaining the story. Some things, like Lou’s poor relationship with his father, his mother passing away when he was young, and he and Shen running away to Tokyo when Lou was 18, and then to America once they started making a name for themselves, remained the same, being the same story he had told Draxum years ago.
What he had neglected to mention was that he also had three brothers and three sisters, all ranging in age. He got along decently with all of them - though he admitted that he was sometimes creeped out by his youngest sister, and his oldest brother could be stern and a bit of an ass at times, but there was still love and care there with all his siblings.
Still, being a bitter teenager just barely on the threshold of adulthood, Lou had lashed out on more than one occasion, insulted that not all of his siblings believed he would make it on his own. They hadn’t completely supported his dream of becoming a star, and a couple of them like Nori and Saki thought he still needed their protection. So, Lou had cut contact - first out of spite, then because he was so busy with films and being a celebrity, then out of depression... It had been a couple months after adopting his boys did he finally remember his family, and wondered how they were doing now.
Still, between the distance between them and the frayed strands of siblinghood, they stuck to letters once or twice a year as their primary source of communication, despite a couple of his siblings pushing for more. But, it would seem that the tabloid’s exposing his and Draxum’s engagement was the straw that broke the camel’s back, as it were. His siblings were coming for a visit, at Saki’s stern insistence. Lou would see his siblings again for the first time in years, his boys would meet their aunts and uncles...
And Draxum would be meeting his in-laws. Not just ‘best friends who were practically family’ like with Shen, but actual in-laws. So, here he was, standing by the door with his family, dressed in a teal blue dress shirt and a gold tie, hoping to make a good first impression.
Lou opened his door, and his siblings practically piled in. Even if they all had their own unique features and styles, Draxum could already see a bit of family resemblance. Still, the fact that Lou was the only one in the Hamato bunch with a pompadour made him smile a little.
Lou greeted them all in Japanese, giving hugs and handshakes while answering questions, also in Japanese. Japanese that, despite a few years of trying to learn, his boys just couldn’t hope understand due to how fast their relatives spoke. “I’m gonna start speaking Spanish if they don’t stop speaking Japanese,” Leo mumbled during it all, pouting a bit after trying and failing to translate. Draxum sympathetically patted his head.
Thankfully, Lou didn’t take too long to notice that the rest of his family was feeling a bit out of the loop. So, clearing his throat, he got everyone to quiet down. “Alright. My brothers and sisters,” he began, “I’d like you to meet, my oldest Raphael-” He touched the shoulder of the eleven year old in red- “my ten year old twins, Donatello and Leonardo-” He gestured to each of them, not wanting his siblings to mix them up- “My youngest, Michelangelo-” the nine year old in orange grinned, happily waving at them, “and finally... my beloved fiance, Dr. Benjamin Draxum.”
Draxum bowed slightly at them. “It’s a pleasure to meet you all.”
“It is good to finally meet you as well, Doctor!” one of Lou’s brothers said, smiling at him.
Draxum chuckled. “Please, just Ben is fine.”
“Very well, I-”
“He is Kenji,” another brother, obviously the oldest, said as he took the lead on introductions, “and I am Saki. And this-” he gestured to each of his remaining siblings in order of age, “is Nori, Hiroki, Hikari and Mei.” Each of the siblings nodded at their brother’s fiance before turning their attention to their nephews.
Nori took a knee so she could look the boys in the eyes. “It’s very nice to finally meet you four,” she smiled, “We have much to catch up on, huh?” The boys smiled back at her. She may have been a total stranger, but her kindness and friendliness was already reminding them of their Auntie Shen.
“We should sit,” Saki spoke up, before adding, “if that is alright. We can’t exactly have a proper visit in the doorway, after all. Unless you are planning on kicking us out already, Yoshi.”
Lou sighed a little, shaking his head. Same old Saki. “Make yourselves at home. Sorry there isn’t much seating, but I can grab a chair from the kitchen if anyone needs one. I’ll also make some tea - you all still like ginseng, right?”
They all settled in the living room, and within an hour, they were already getting along like family. The boys took most of the conversation, telling their aunts and uncles about their favorite things and sharing stories. Lou told the story of the day he first met his boys, and then told the story of the night he and Draxum first met - with Mikey butting in when necessary to tell his side.
Kenji chuckled. “It almost sounds like a movie!”
“Believe me, I’m well aware of the irony,” Draxum quipped, chuckling along with him. He felt Mikey hug his leg, the gesture feeling nostalgic given that the boy hadn’t done that since he was six or seven.
“Yeah, Ben is a great dad,” Mikey said, glancing up at his soon-to-be father, “I know I’m definitely glad I found him instead of someone else that night.”
“Well, he’s not your official stepfather yet,” Saki mumbled, quiet enough for the children not to hear him. Nori still elbowed him for it.
The Hamatos shared stories as well, tales that Lou remembered from childhood as well as new ones he hadn’t heard before. It was slightly bittersweet, with Lou silently wishing that he hadn’t stubbornly waited to get in contact with his family again. Still, this wouldn’t be the first time he had to fix mistakes he made in his youth, and at the very least, Lou was certain that even after his wedding, there would still be plenty of family visits.
When suppertime came around, Saki insisted on ordering giant platters from a New York sushi place that they could all enjoy, thinking it appropriate to splurge for an occasion such as a family reunion... And he volunteered Draxum to help him pick it up.
Lou gave his oldest brother a bit of look, but Draxum agreed without hesitation, standing up from the couch and following Saki out the door. Despite the difference in weather and setting, he couldn’t help but feel a bit of deja vu, being reminded of that Christmas Eve nearly three years ago.
“You and my brother get along well,” Saki said finally, after driving in silence for several minutes. Even though he kept his eyes on the road, Draxum could see the sharp sternness in his eyes. Not from malice, though, but from fierce protectiveness. Saki was easily the most serious in this generation of Hamatos, and he took his family very seriously.
Still, Draxum didn’t flinch. “We do,” he said, a small smile on his face, “I’ll admit, I wouldn’t have expected it either. But we-... I connected with him almost instantly.”
“Oh?” Saki said, though it sounded more like a statement than a question.
“...There was this one time, during a first few months of dating,” Draxum began, “Lou had done an interview, and somehow - not his fault, but the fault of a very nosey talkshow host - word got out that we were dating. It was... stressful, to say the least. I met more reporters and members of the paparazzi that week than I had in my entire life, and I nearly had to get a new phone number. ...We almost didn’t make it, because I wasn’t sure if I could handle the stress of, well, that whole situation that came with dating a well known celebrity.”
“...” Saki spared him a glance. “Then what made you stay?”
Draxum smiled again. “I missed him... Him and the boys, and it was then that I decided that I would rather deal with the rough and sometimes aggravating times with him and his family by my side than have peaceful times on my own. Lou made me happy, like no one else had, as did his children. And so, I decided that I was going to try and make them as happy as they made me in return. I wasn’t going to be a coward, and I was going to fight for the ones I loved. ...The ones I never knew I needed until they were nearly gone.”
Saki said nothing, just kept driving. Draxum didn’t mind, he had already said his piece, and if Saki still didn’t approve of him... Well, so be it. He still would try and connect with Lou’s relatives as much as he could of course, but he wasn’t going anywhere.
However, when they arrived at the sushi restaurant, Saki stopped him before they went inside. “My younger brother and I... we have not always seen eye-to-eye,” Saki began, his eyes losing their sharpness and instead taking on an air of fatigue, “But I have always cared about him. Try to guide him, protect him, even when I was angry or frustrated with him... When we did not hear from him in so long, only knowing that he was still alive because he was still in films, and then even losing that eventually... I can not tell you how worried I was about him.”
Draxum gave him a sympathetic look, but said nothing, not wanting to interrupt.
“...Then, when I heard about him getting married - married to someone who could see his fame and fortune as the only reason for marriage, someone who could break my foolish brother’s heart... I became worried once again. ...However-” His eyes became softer now. “I can see that you are not that type of man, Dr. Benjamin.”
Draxum nodded, appreciating the respect. “Thank you, Saki.”
“Do not thank me yet,” Saki snapped slightly, scowling once more, “You still have a lot to prove, and like I said, you are not part of this family yet! Not until the wedding, and even then-! ...However, eventually... I think I could see you being a good brother-in-law, as well as a good husband and father.”
“I can assure you,” Draxum promised him, his voice unwavering, “I am going to do whatever I can for them, and that I care about them with all my heart.”
Saki stared at him, and then nodded. A sign of acceptance, if only a small one. “Come, before the sushi starts to get warm,” he said, heading inside the restaurant. Draxum followed, relaxing somewhat.
It wasn’t long before they returned, platters in hand. Conversation and laughter filled the old home once again as stories were shared and connections were strengthened. Even Saki managed to smile once or twice! At one point, Draxum felt Lou squeeze his hand, his fiance happier than he ever thought he’d be and wondering why they hadn’t done this sooner. Draxum leaned over to kiss him, silently promising him many more evenings like this.
They were a family, and even if he still didn’t have the complete approval of his in-laws yet, Draxum wasn’t worried. It was like he had said before, he was planning on staying by his family’s side no matter what, and he would do all he could for them to make sure they were happy. It was the least he could do, and he was happy to do it.
...Besides, even if he had wanted to, he couldn’t leave yet. After all, there were still plenty more funny and slightly-embarrassing stories from Lou’s youth that he wanted to hear, much to his fiance’s dismay.
THE END

(awww hell yeah @rottmntrulesall. hopefully i wrote them right!)(also everyone go check out their oc’s and au and art its so good)
It was a phone call Lou never expected to make. The phone number was one he had to hire a private investigator to find - he was just glad his family wasn’t off the grid, remote. He punched in the number and waited as the phone rang. Draxum sat close by, bouncing Mikey on his knee, but keeping an eye on them both.
Finally, someone picked up.
“Hello? How did you get this number?” the voice was gentle and Lou was immediately thrown back more than 15 years.
“Nori? It’s- It’s me. Yoshi,” Lou managed, swallowing the heavy lump in his throat. She was silent for a moment.
“Yoshi? You’re alright? Is everything-” she rambled on, asking question after question, making sure he was okay. Lou let himself smile.
“I’m fine,” he interrupted. “I know I left the family under...bad circumstances, to say the least but...”
He sighed. “I have a family now. I want them to meet their aunts and uncles at least once.”
“Oh Yoshi,” Nori cooed. “Of course - Saki won’t be happy about it but...when is he happy about anything?”
Right. Saki. “Get everyone and put me on speaker, sis.”
-
A month later, Lou paced the front room in his apartment - well, one of them, like he would give his siblings his actual address on the surface. His siblings, all of them from Saki to Mei, were arriving in the hour. Tang Shen, one of Draxum’s guards, and the gargoyles, in disguise for now, were bringing them all from the airport. Gargoyles for messaging if anything went sour, Shen and the Guard for muscle. It was important that everything went right that night. Lou even ditched the jumpsuit for something more conservative. A three-piece suit in dark gray, with a dark teal waistcoat and red tie that matched Draxum.
“You’re going to wear a hole into the floor, love,” Draxum said, gently stopping Lou and pulling him close. “It’s going to be fine.”
“I hope so,” Lou replied, pressing his head into Draxum’s neck. “If it goes wrong, this will be the last chance my family and I have to reconcile.”
Not that it mattered. He wanted nothing to do with them, with the Hamato clan name and the legacy that came with it. He just wanted a better split this time, one on equal terms and to properly say goodbye to the ones he missed the most.
“I know,” Draxum began, but the call bell rang. “There’s our cue.”
Lou nodded. “Let me talk to them, alone, and then I’ll introduce you and the boys.”
Lou stood up straight, adjusting his suit, and went over to the call bell and pressed the entrance button and speaker. “Send them up.”
Draxum disappeared into a spare room, and Lou stood at attention in the living room. He had already set out tea for a proper service for them. They just had to come in. And come in they did. Shen entered first, fist wrapped in gauze, then the guard who had a seething Saki pinned to his chest. There was a streak of dried blood smeared over his cheek.
“What the hell? Shen, what happened?” Lou asked.
“He was rude and derivative,” Shen replied, shaking her hand slightly. “So I punched him. I only feel sorry in that I stole the pleasure of punching him and breaking his nose from you.”
“Shen!”
“Maybe I had a short fuse.”
“Oh my god,” Lou pinched his brow. So much for everything going right. “Please tell me everyone else escaped your fist.”
“Well, obviously. They were polite and you don’t have any trauma attached to them,” Shen replied. The rest of them slowly filtered in and Lou felt his eyes well up with tears. Nori was the first to approach, gently cupping Lou’s cheek, looking him in the eye.
“Nori-” Lou managed to say before she wrapped him tightly in a hug. He slowly returned the hug, letting the tears fall onto her shoulder. He had always been the sibling with his feelings on his sleeve. “I missed you...”
“Yoshi, you will not believe how much we missed you too,” Nori replied. “We worried so much! But look at you! So grown up, famous and with a family all your own! I couldn’t be prouder.”
“A disgrace to the Hamato name!” Saki hissed. The guard squeezed him tighter and he wheezed.
“That’s my boss, sir. Refrain from insults until I put you down, otherwise I may not be gentle,” the guard warned. Lou took a shaky breath before letting go of Nori.
“Put him down now, if you please,” Lou said, voice smooth and even. The guard nodded and dropped Saki gracelessly to the floor. He snarled, standing and roughly smoothed his clothing. He glared at Lou.
“Yoshi. You’re still alive, surprisingly. And actually wearing decent clothing instead of some whorish-” Saki began to sling diatribes, but Lou held up a hand.
“Remember what we agreed to, Saki. If you keep acting like this, the meeting is over, I put you back on my jet, and we never see each other again. That I can promise,” Lou interjected. “And yes, I am able to wear different clothing. I had it made special for this visit.”
He turned his attention to the rest of his siblings and his heart welled up. “I missed you all so much. Please, everyone, have a-”
Before he could finish, Kenji, Hiroki and Hikari jumped him, hugging him tightly with a rush of words and sentences in a mix of English and Japanese. Lou could only make out “We missed you!” and “You got so tall!” and “I wish I could’ve helped sooner” from the babble, and nonetheless returned the hug tightly, picking up all three and spinning them around in joy. When they stopped, Lou made eye contact with the youngest of his siblings, Mei, who hung back, quietly watching the scene.
“Oh Mei, look at you!” Lou said, letting the three of them go. “Last time I saw you, you were only a baby!”
“I don’t remember seeing you except in pictures,” she replied. “I was told you were dead and disgraceful.”
“I see,” Lou shot a glare at Saki. “Well, I am very alive. Come, we all have a lot to discuss before I introduce you to the family.”
“Let’s just cut to the chase, Lou,” Saki said. “Let’s just meet the new members of the clan and go.”
“First off, no. They will not be members,” Lou replied. “Secondly, you will enjoy this tea service or so help me I will make you.”
Saki’s scowl deepened, but he sat down on a settee. Lou gestured for the rest of them to follow. The conservation between the siblings went smoothly, talking over the past missed 15 years, sans Saki as he sat and seethed over his tea. Shen looked pleased with herself as she sipped her own glass. The guard stood close at hand, just in case.
“So...you’re married now,” Kenji plied. “Who’s the lucky lady? And why didn’t we hear about it in the tabloids?”
“Well, for starters, we eloped and my publicist only just released everything to the press a week ago. It should be in tomorrow’s papers, including pictures of my husband and I, as well as a few snapshots of my children,” Lou let the bomb of eloping and having a husband drop quickly. The group went quiet for a moment, and Nori just stared at him both in disbelief and an odd sense of pride that comes with knowing that her sibling was like her. “Which is shocking you all more? My eloping or the gender of spouse?”
“No surprise about the running away,” Saki hissed. “But a man? Could you possibly be more-”
Lou and the siblings gave him a pointed glare and he went quiet with a scowl.
“I saw it’s about time we met him then!” Hikari said. Lou nodded, standing.
“There is another thing I should mention about my husband,” he began before calling for him. “Draxum, love? That’s your cue.”
A moment later Draxum appeared, with no disguise, face cool and stoic. His siblings stood in shock, ready to strike but Lou went up to him with a smile, kissing him before turning back to his siblings. “May I introduce my husband, Baron Draxum? And yes, he is a yokai, and no, there’s no trickery on his behalf to seduce me.”
“Yoshi, you’re more of an idiot than I thought!” Saki shouted, storming over. “You continue to disgrace our family! I will drag you back to Japan myself if I-”
A vine was quick to wrap around him. Draxum turned to Lou. “I’m assuming this is Saki, then? I hope you don’t mind if I keep him like this for the evening.”
“By all means,” Lou replied, and watched as Shen looked even more pleased. The vine moved Saki to another part of the room, out of Draxum’s way to the rest of the siblings. He shallowly bowed at the waist to them.
“It is a pleasure to meet you all,” he said. “I only wish it had been sooner.”
Hiroki was the first to break the silence. “Just like in the stories you used to tell me, Yoshi...”
Lou grinned. “In a way, yes. Draxum, this is Hiroki-”
He introduced them all, one by one. “The only people missing are our parents, but mom...our father is too old travel anymore.”
“I see,” Draxum replied. “But nonetheless, I am pleased to meet you all. Even Saki.”
“I would be pleased to be let down!” Saki snapped before quieting down. “Please.”
“Go ahead,” Lou permitted. Draxum let him down carefully. “But the moment you act up, you go back up. And probably out.”
Saki just gruffly nodded, sitting back down on the settee. Shen had never looked more pleased.
“Can we meet the little ones now that we’ve met your husband?” Nori asked. Lou nodded.
“I don’t see why not. Shen, keep them company while we grab the boys?” Draxum asked. She nodded, turning to face them.
“I have stories about Lou that you will all adore,” she began.
“Nothing too outrageous, please,” Lou laughed, grabbing Draxum’s arm. “Now, my boys are also a little bit odd. But...oh, you all will love them!”
The siblings didn’t know what to expect. Shen’s only word about them was to ask no questions. Not yet at least. A few minutes later, Lou and Draxum returned with four baby turtles. One was bundled in a blanket, two in onesies, and one in a pair of soft looking pajamas. Lou beamed with pride as his sibling stepped closer to peer at them. Lou slipped one of the onesie-clad ones into Nori’s arms.
“This one is Leo,” he murmured. “They just woke up.”
Leo blinked sleepily up at Nori. “Hello, little Leo...”
“And this one is Donnie,” Draxum said, placing him into Kenji’s arms. “Mind his back. He’s a softshell.”
Kenji nodded, cooing at the small turtles. Mei peered at the two curiously.
“They’re so tiny...,” she whispered, gently rubbing Leo’s arm. Leo grabbed her finger and Mei froze eyes wide. Lou smiled. Hiroki and Hikari stepped closer and Draxum offered the toddler over to them.
“This one is Raph. He’s still sleeping,” he said. “He’s big for his age, but that’s the correct size correlation for a snapping turtle.”
The two held Raph between them, cooing at the sleeping turtle in their arms and the teddy bear themed pajamas. Saki stayed back, watching from afar. Steeling his resolve, Lou cradled Mikey in his arms and walked over. Saki stared at him in shock. “Yoshi?”
“This is the baby. His name is Mikey and you are going to hold him,” Lou said sternly. Before Saki could protest, Lou more or less plopped the small bundled turtle into Saki’s hands. Saki froze, staring at the small bundle before relaxing slightly to properly hold him. Mikey woke up slightly, babbling slightly before sinking back to sleep.  Saki was silent for a moment before looking up at Lou, eyes wide and wet. “Yes?”
“He’s...they’re...I just...,” Saki stammered. “I’m sorry, Yoshi.”
Lou froze at that. “What?”
Saki looked away, ashamed. “I am sorry for everything, Yoshi-Lou. I never should have done all that I did to you. I shouldn’t have blindly followed orders. Look at what I tried to steal from you!”
“Saki...,” Lou sat down beside him, wiping his brother’s cheek. “Don’t get tears on the baby.”
The other siblings joined them on the couch, still holding their respective nephews. Leo still hadn’t dropped Mei’s hand and she followed along, unwilling to pull her hand away. Saki rubbed harshly at his cheek, shifting Mikey in his arms.
“I am sorry I put you through all that. I’m sorry I helped do all those horrid orders father asked, to you and the rest of you,” Saki continued. “I should have been a better brother.”
“Well, now is your chance,” Lou said, and the other siblings nodded. “And you can start by being a good uncle.”
Saki nodded. “I’ll consider it my highest honor.”
Lou smiled, and Draxum approached, resting a hand on his shoulder, which Lou held. “I’m glad...and I’m glad to have you all back.”
The evening had gone better than he could have ever hoped. He had his siblings back, and they loved his new family. Though there was much to work out and fix, all that mattered was that he had them back.

When I was drawing this, I was planning to do a little angsty mini comic but my brain lagged like lazy so I decided to settle for something sweet. So, here’s a French kiss from Hikari and unmasked Monsrage! 😊😄❤️💓💖💕
@mefiman  The kiss we didn’t ask for, but really wanted

The fact that your Hamato OC, Hikari (Lou Jitsu's younger brother) is gay and the fact that my Monsrage (father of Draxum) is in fact gay too so why not draw them having the hots for each other, only they're too shy to admit they developed feelings for each other... XD
I imagine Hikari's twin, Hiroki would love to matchmake them when she notices her bro having something for the older yokai and vice versa for Mons. She supports her bro all the way and so would the turtles. How about Lou and Draxy, I wonder?...

@mefiman
I’m liking this pairing! Hikari needs some hot yokai love too! Hikari would be shy, but thirst over him from afar. And Hiroki and Lou would try to get those two together!
Draxum would feel awkward with his father dating his boyfriend’s little brother.

I wrote another drabble. This time, angst. Warning: what you're about to read is rather dark! So to other readers, go on at your own risk!
The battlefield.
The sight of fallen soldiers.
The area splashed and painted with the blood of the killed.
"N-No..."
"Y-You want to what....?"
"YOU WANT US TO END IT HERE?! NOW?! MONSRAGE, YOU [CENSORED] PIECE OF [CENSORED AGAIN]!! YOU DARE END THIS FOR THE SATISFACTIONS OF SOME WRINKLED UP OLD COOTS?!! FINE. GO. SUFFER THE REMAINDER OF YOUR MISERABLE [CENSORED THRICE] LIFE, YOU SON OF A [CENSORED FOR THE FOURTH TIME]!!! GOODBYE AND GOOD [FIFTH CENSOR], YOU [SIXTH TIME CENSORED] TURNCOAT!!!"
"He has none of my concern being the weakly runt he is. Give it to someone else, I don't care. Just get him out of my sight."
"YOU'RE GAY?! YOU RETARDED PIECE OF [CENSORED]!"
Punch!
"Well, I'm sorry that I was NOT the "perfect warrior son" you desired so much for our people, Father! I can't fulfill your whims and expectations-!"
Another punch.
"You either stop being a fagging, disgusting male whore or you'll suffer a fate even worse than death alone. Understood?"
"You are not my son. You never were."
"YOU EITHER DO AS YOU'RE TOLD TO DO OR GO WITHOUT ANY SUPPORT FROM ME OR YOUR MOTHER, got it, son?" The last part was filled with corrosive acid.
No, no....
"NOOO!!!" A humongous roar full of rage and agony shook the room along with the building. Monsrage bolted up from the bed, his entire body drenched with perspiration. His huge clawed hands flew up to his face, trying to not release whatever left of his outburst and causing another unwanted damage and waking up the inhabitants of the room.
Too late.
His door burst open. People came in.
"Grandpa, you ok?!" (Michelangelo)
"What happened?!" (Leonardo)
"Did you have a bad dream, grandps?!" (Raphael)
"Was it real bad?!" (Donatello)
"Man, ya old grandpa sure was loud, Donnie." (April)
"Mons, whatever's the matter?" (Chemia)
"Father, what caused you to be like this?" (Draxum)
"Are you alright, Monsrage?" (Splinter, holding a crying Venus)
"What happened?!" (The rest of the Hamato Clan)
The predator beast yokai warrior covered his face in great shame, trying to hide his humiliation in front of so many people. Most of all, to the one person he did not want to expose his weakness in front of...
Hikari, the very mortal who rekindled his long buried emotions and ability to feel love once more...

In your opinion, would Draxy be alright with his father falling for a human? Even if it's his boyfriend's close relation? How about Lou himself regarding his brother, the turtles and April? Got any thoughts from them?
Draxum is doing it, so he has no reason to judge. Probably be worried what his mother would think. Although if by chance, Mons and Hikari were to get married, Hikari would be Draxum’s stepdad and brother in law. Sorry for making it weird.
Lou wouldn’t think about that. He’d want his brother to be happy for once, as would the Turtles and April. They would all work to get the two together.

How would the other Hamato family members especially Yasha and Saki take the fact that Hikari is gay and is crushing for a yokai, Monsrage like Lou and Draxum in your Siblings/Family AU?
Before the revision I did to the AU, in regards to the finale:
Yasha and Saki would be absolutely furious and disgusted. Them being old fashioned and traditional, Saki and their father see LGBT as vile and shameful. And with a YOKAI no less??? That’s a death sentence. The rest of the siblings would be supportive and happy for Hikari, but are too scared of their father and eldest brother to say anything. Really sucks, considering Hiroki is pansexual, Kenji is demisexual, Nori is a lesbian, and Mei is ace.
AFTER the revision however, Saki would accept the fact that his youngest brother is gay, though he’s a bit put off by the fact that it’s with a yokai. Especially the father of the yokai who made Yoshi and his nephews into what they are. Yasha is dead, but he would take longer to accept this if he were still alive. Of course, the rest of the siblings would be supportive but more openly.

I wrote a drabble featuring Monsrage and Hikari. Enjoy.
The centre of his chest had started beating a lot faster than before.
Whenever he either glanced or crossed paths with the mortal.
How could this be? He hardly felt this tornado of emotions and feelings ever since... for how long? More than thousands of years? He, feeling his weary old age while still having quite a battle strong, sculptured and youthfully body. He thought ever since he had to put a stop to his passionate relationship with his very first partner, he would never have the chance to pursue the pleasurably blissful feelings he once felt the moment he fulfilled the order to tie the knot with Chemia at the request of his elders and the approval of the Heads.
He was apparently wrong.
This human man (or lad, in his opinion because he still looked quite young for someone around forty years old in human age) had somehow, even without trying, tugged something within him. Made him feel this long buried emotion... Again.
From what he knew, the object of his current curiosity happened to be the younger brother of the celebrity human his own son, Draxum, in one of his favorite grandsons, Michelangelo's words; "is in a relationship with". When he heard the latest word regarding his son, he and his wife, Chemia went to visit their son whom they had for long never heard from, and found him living with a rat mutant and four mutant turtles (somehow in a way, are their sons). Surprises aside, Monsrage was absolutely over delighted to not only be finally reunited with his distanced son but to also meet his son's mate (although that part was initially and fervently denied by both parties, his son and the former human martial arts celebrity) as well as getting to know his mutant grandchildren, making him one happy "old" yokai grandpa. He loved all his four turtle grandchildren equally especially Michelangelo, who possessed a sweet, innocent heart of a child even though he was a teenager.
Speaking of child, that word alone did him refresh himself a forgotten memory...
He was panting in great pain. Clutching his heavily bleeding upper left arm as he struggled to rest under a pink blossomed tree in the woods, his head throbbing with jabbing pain. He was at the human realm, world away from the Hidden City, pursuing a fleeing enemy. They both fought and he managed to subdue the menace but also got his own share of injuries... He was no doctor of course, the only option he could think on how to stop the pain going worse was to lick his wound but he was too preoccupied with the stinging pain to do it...
"Hiroki, look!"
"Is that... A real yokai?!"
The warrior beast yokai tensed at the sound of... children? He got up and tried to get up to flee but only tripped, ten folding his grievous pain.
"UNGH!" He bit his bottom lip to refrain himself from roaring in agony. Great. Just great. Now, he just got discovered by a few humans and soon, he would have to face...
"W-Wait! It's okay, we're not gonna hurt you!" A little human boy came and knelt down before him. "We won't tell anyone about you at all, right, Hiroki?"
"Yeah!" A little girl looked almost like the boy quipped. Monsrage could guess that they were twins. "What happened? You look terribly hurt." Monsrage did not answer her innocent inquiry, remembering to be on his guard.
"Hiroki, can you go and secretly get the first aid kit without anyone seeing you? Look out especially for Saki nissan." The boy asked.
"Okay, I'll be right back in a moment! Wait here with him!" The girl ran off. The boy stayed by his side, fishing out a handkerchief and moistening it with water from a bottle, wiped away the beads of sweat from his body as well asd abbed away some of the blood from the wound. The girl came back soon with a handled white box with a red symbol. Both children tended to his injuries and gave him something to eat from their lunchboxes. As he recovered day by day, he often watched them play their games and halfway through healing, he even participated having fun with them while hiding in the woods away from other humans. He grew especially fond of the little boy, Hikari who was the very first human person who showed him kindness and compassion despite them being different in species and age. He remembered the look of pure fascination the boy had in his eyes when he told him his name and exclamations of delight whenever he turned to his beast like form and gave him and his sister rides. He also recalled the tears in his eyes when he had to say goodbye and leave him and his sister once he was well...
That was so long ago. He never knew nor expected to meet the little boy again who was now a grown man, when Lou (his son, Draxum's marked mate) invited him over to see his family and announced that he and Draxum are a couple now. Understandably, there was some concerns regarding the questionable past but surprisingly, everything worked out well and he was happy for both his son and his beloved, wishing them well and to pursue their happiness together.
If only he could sort out the problem he was facing now. Facing before the man who he once met and now, was responsible for rekindling the long ago buried emotions. It did not take him long to be hit with the unavoidable truth revelation only he and he alone realized...
He was in love again. With the very little boy who saved him from his pain thirty years ago.
But the question now is...
Does Hikari recognize him? More importantly, has his opinion about him remained neutral or does he even feel the same way Monsrage feels about him?
Only time can tell. And Monsrage feared the very day. His mind filled with terrifying possibilities he did not want to think about. He did not want to go through the same pains he suffered years ago...
And that's pretty much the story, for now. Writing isn't much of my strength but I did enjoy writing about them and I got to say, I am pretty proud out it turned out!

🖊+ Hikari
Hikari would follow Lou around constantly when he was little. Whenever they weren’t training, he wanted to be with his big brother. Be it chilling or planking Saki.
Hikari has little to no memories of his parents, so he was very close to his grandfather Sho.
Hikari realized he was gay when he was around 12, after he gained a small crush on an older boy in their apartment.
