This is technically the start of my au. Splinter and Baron Draxum started off on a better note (because Lou's ass was not listening to a word draxum was saying) they both raise the turtles together for a couple of months and then Splinter starts to actually listen to Barry and is like "hey! genocide is not a vibe!!" and they fight and the lab explodes lol

When I sat down to draw tonight, I sat down to draw Roxo and the boys all sleepy, and instead I drew Baron Jitsu AU???

Annnnnd the boys were literally a last minute add. My thought was that Mikey's sick and Lou wants to get him treatment, but Draxum refuses to let him 'baby' his child soldiers any longer???

Twice now I’ve gotten pulled into a ship that’s between the protagonist’s parent and a antagonist because vague details hinted at a deeper history between the two, only for it to be revealed they’ve only met each other once.

So I've been agonizing what Raph, Leo and Mikey's names should be in the AU, cuz if Splinter didn't raise them then they Draxum would've been the ones who named them and why would he pick human artist names?

Alas, I am lazy, and I don't wanna spend a bunch of time figuring out alternative names for them, so I quickly thought of an in-universe reason why they all ended up with the same names as in canon lol

(TBF Splinter did immidietly start naming in the show as well, he was just a bit less creative about it)

Beauty and Rise of the Beast

About two days ago I decided to make a Rise of the TMNT x Beauty and the Beast AU and weirdly I actually love it. I’ve already built up a bit of the story and world and hope to draw more of this. Also the AU itself is in fact going to be called Beauty and Rise of the Beast :D

Here’s also the sketched concept of the first 3 characters I did. I will do others eventually just need to build up the world and story a bit more to really smooth out the bumps

Scenes id love to see in rottmnt is the turtles realizing they all think their last name is different

Mikey thinks its "Jitsu"

Leo thinks its "Splinterson"

Donnie thinks their last name should properly be "Hamato-Draxum" but he hates Draxum so he's been using "Hamato"

Raph thought they didnt have one

Splinter never intended for them to have one (as he doesnt as Splinter) and his mixed feelings towards the Hamato Clan dont help clear things up

April thought their last name was "Turtle" and she never thought to actually ask them if they had a last name
