"You and I may know that, but honestly I'm not too sure if Frank over there knows it." Bailey responded to them. "Card." Bailey replied as he reached into his wallet and he pulled out his credit card and slid it across the bar to the bartender helping him out. "It's awful. I never got it from a lime but a lemon which I'm sure they feel exactly the same." Bailey mentioned to the other and laughed.
"Me? I'm always having a good time." Indy replies with a shrug, waving Frank off. He was a regular, and Indy never got too phased by him. "You got it. Cash or card?" They ask, grabbing a can of Redbull from behind the bar and cracking it open, pouring it over ice. "You ever get lime juice in a cut? Stings like a bitch."

Starter for: Olivia & Vincent @halfwcytohell Location: Frisky Kitty Cafe
Olivia had decided that she was going to go visit the cafe that had cats in it. She was feeling a bit indifferent about it because while it sounded like a lovely idea, she was skeptical because she would be afraid of cat hair getting in the beverages or the snacks, but she was definitely open to trying it out. She walked in and it must be popular because it was pretty packed for the middle of the day. She walked up to the counter to get herself a coffee but then realized she had left her wallet in the car. She turned to the person behind her. "Hey, do you mind saving my spot? I just have to run out and get my wallet and I've been waiting so long already."

for: @halfwcytohell ( vince ) where: the third eye
It wasn't that Adam didn't believe in psychics and all of that, he could believe a lot was possible in this world, what he didn't trust was the people; he'd run into plenty of conmen and people faking their gifts for a buck. Hopefully that wasn't the case here. Curiosity while wandering around town had him walking into The Third Eye, looking around the cozy shop with a hum before he spotted someone nearby. "Hey, you know if this place is legit?" he asked. "Looks pretty nice. Hopefully some lady doesn't run out of a beaded curtain just now telling me my fate is sealed."

who: romeo @halfwcytohell where: their place
"Want a drink," Lucas called; half of his body was currently positioned inside of the fridge, the choice between orange and grape soda taking longer than anticipated. Grabbing cans of both, Lucas finally closed the refrigerator door and plodded towards the living room. He set the cans down and settled onto the couch. "Couldn't choose" he explained. With one hand he gestured towards the cans, signaling Romeo to choose the one he wanted. Lucas would take whichever was left, which was, in his opinion, the easiest way to make a decision. "Okay," he continued when they were finally settled, "would you rather always be an hour early or an hour late? Discuss."

closed starter for @halfwcytohell ( isabella + indigo )
isabella practically bursts through their shared apartment’s door and throws her purse onto the floor, groaning as she removes her shoes at the entryway. her eyes don’t even need to find indigo before she starts complaining. “got told today at work that i need to smile more. that this resting bitch face will spook costumers away.” she’s aware of her bad case of permanent-scowling, but it’s not as if she wants to hear it from someone. she rolls her eyes. “i gotta start banning people who say shit like that to me.”

Location: Outside Glowing Embers, night-time. With: Norah / @halfwcytohell
Despite repeated assurances from Norah that walking her home after she's finished a late shift isn't necessary, the notion of not showing up has never felt like an option to Atty. He'd claim it's exclusively about safety, that having to navigate the way back to their house alone at the often ungodly hours she works could pose a number of risks, but that's only a piece of the story. The truth is that it's also become a cherished part of his routine -- getting to hear how her day has gone, sharing details about his own, ambling home together beneath muted streetlights and star-scattered skies while the rest of the town sleeps. He lives for it, the comfort of repetition and the company of someone who knows him better than he knows himself.
There's a chill in the air as he waits outside Glowing Embers tonight, accompanied by a gentle pattering of rain. Instinctively shrugging off his jacket when he sees Norah approaching, he offers it to her as a balm against the weather with a tired smile. "Norah! Hi! How's your night been?"

the sun was already down by the time they started their walk around twilight park. it was chilly but not that cold that jack felt it, it was just enough to be comfortable. as they walked side by side jack couldn't help but feel surreal that a blind date of all things got the ball rolling. it was nice, there were no expectations from either of them, simply two people spending time together and enjoying each other's company. "what do you say we drive over to starlite and go watch a movie?" jack suggested, not quite ready for their date to be over.

Who: @halfwcytohell (Vince)
Where: The Third Eye - afternoon
Some might say Ash was incredulous for his believe in things like Psychics and the supernatural. But he' d worked on enough full moons to know that it was possible for planets and stars to have an effect on how human's behaved. On a more personal level no one could convince him that his Aunt wasn't somewhere watching over him and still guiding him along. Ash had a strong belief in the unseen around him, that there was no such thing as coincidence. Stumbling across The Third Eye on one of his first forays around Clearwater had been one of those not so random random things. Ash had liked the energy that Vince gave off from the jump and what had been just a random walk in had turned into a regular part of his routine for the last six months. He was dressed to head to work after, clean and professional, different than his non-work wear of baggy sweaters and ripped jeans, "Hiya Vince. How's the day going?"

for: angelo ( @halfwcytohell ) location: meteor shower viewing
Akiak couldn't remember the last time he stopped and looked at the stars. Life had gotten so hazy one day and never really stopped after that. It wasn't until he moved to Hemlock recently that he was learned how to slow down a bit in life and pick up hobbies he used to enjoy doing before. When he saw that there was going to be a meteor shower viewing at the park Aki told himself that he would not miss it, and he kept that promise. What he failed to think of was to invite someone, but it was too late now. He had found a spot to sit down and wait for the shower to begin. His attention would go from the screen of his phone to sky just to make sure he didn't get too caught up in his (stupidly) addicting YouTube reels.
It's only when his phone alerts him that it's on 20% did he decide to put it away for a moment. He casually looks around the different groups of people who had gathered to watch the meteor shower, letting out a small sigh. Then, in the distance, Aki spots someone that he never thought he'd see again, Angelo. He doesn't even think twice before he gets up and makes his way over in the direction of the other. It had been years since the two had last seen each other, Aki was much younger back in those days, and he didn't even know if Angelo was going to recognize him. "Angelo?" He asks, slowly approaching him. "It's okay if you don't remember me. It's...definitely been a while."

"I promise you I'm trying my best to get there." She was talking a little louder than necessary, but something about talking over her car play never seemed to be loud enough. Her eyes averted to her niece in the backseat who'd been screaming two seconds ago, and she exhaled as she realized that Ava was sound asleep. She was on her way to meet her sister Genevieve for dinner, but what she hadn't expected while on her way to meet @halfwcytohell, was for her to get stuck in what appeared to accident traffic. The anxiety she felt every time she came across it. "Are we still meeting at Main Squeeze or did you prefer to go somewhere else?" With the weather warming up outside, Naomi was always a sucker for a good smoothie, but she also respected that wasn't everyone's cup of tea.

"Well yeah it's also the time for you to get things done so if you don't sleep all day then I definitely understand that." He replied to her. "Thank you. I know that jazz isn't for everybody. I appreciate you giving us a try though because it's a nice place to hang out honestly, even if you're not big into the jazz music." He responded to the woman. "What kind of music do you like to listen to?" @halfwcytohell
"I don't really sleep all day, but I get enough." Gen shrugs, taking another sip from drink. "Oh, the jazz club? I think I've been there once or twice." It wasn't really her scene, but it was a nice change of pace every once in a while. "I'm not super big on jazz, but it's a nice place."

Starter for: Zahra & Geneveive @halfwcytohell Location: Joey's Pizza
Zahra was inside Joey's Pizza and she was sitting at the table, enjoying her gooey cheese slice. Zahra looked around as she set down the pizza and then saw another individual who looked like they were looking for somewhere to sit. It was a small pizza joint but it was exceptionally busy today so she decided to be kind and she spoke up, "I don't know if you're looking for somewhere to sit, but if you are then the other side of the booth is open, I came here by myself." She motioned to the other side of the table.

"-wait, hold that thought. our order is ready. i'll go get it." once their number was called, she wasted no time getting up and heading toward the counter to grab the sandwiches the two of them had ordered. she came back and place the other's in front of him before sitting back down, "now what were you saying? you have to catch me up. it's been a while since we've been able to do this." she added before popping one of her fries into her mouth.

“come on in — you don’t even need an invitation anymore at this point.” he calls out to his half-sister, open arms as he welcomes her into his home. it was still weird to have a sibling that actually cared about him, after years of being ignored by the sisters he had grown up with. though they eventually learned how to get used to it and not care as much, it’s probably what has led to their validation-seeking behaviors. “just don’t mind the mess. i’m fostering this puppy and they’re still learning how to be a dog properly. but anyways, to what do i owe the pleasure of your visit? you’ve decided to come over for lunch?”

Aria had only been half joking but at his agreement she couldn’t help but squeal. “You’re quite possibly the best person I’ve ever bet,” she exclaimed. “I’m Aria, by the way.” She offered a smile as she introduced herself, and turned her cart towards the snack aisle. “I was going to leave without grabbing a few snacks, but since you’re here and willing to help, I might as well take advantage.”
Chuckling quietly, Alvaro drop his gaze back to his shopping list, making sure that he had grabbed everything that he needed. Luckily he didn't have anything frozen in his cart that would melt, so he could spare some time for the other if needed. "I don't have to rush out if there's anything you want to grab for you." He offers, shrugging. "Lead the way."

Starter For: @halfwcytohell (Genevieve) Location: Farmer's Market
You couldn't beat fresh produce. Carson might have been raised in privilege, but his mother had always instilled in him the importance of home-cooked meals. She hadn't needed to work, but rather than being the type of woman who buried her boredom with life under prescription medications and red wine, she had dedicated herself to raising her kids to be the best human beings possible. Carson had helped with the cooking since he was tall enough to reach the kitchen counter with a tiny stool. Now, he liked to use it as a way to show his affection for people, a way to connect with them.
"So what're you feeling for tonight?" he asked, eyes perusing the local stalls. "I could do some jerk chicken, some pulled pork, world's your oyster."
