They both are evil masterminds when it comes to manipulation and deception. They both put on a facade with their parents to get their way.

Lets not forget their gruesome ideas of a ‘prank’. I’m sure they both have a good mind when it comes to getting people back or just to f*ck with them. (Scott got eric good)

If they were in another universe part of me believes they would have had a decent bond. They already have so much in common…

A common trope in K-Dramas. Half Brother Hatred.

The son from the late wife or ex-wife (in some cases) rarely get along with new wife and most especially that new wife's offspring (or mistress in this case)

Kim Tan (LEE MIN-HO) has a unique family dynamic, he is the son of powerful chairman of the board. His mother is a mistress living with his father but publicly his mother is his wealthy father's second wife.

His brother is the only the son of the same wealthy father with his late wife. His bother is Kim Won (CHOI JIN HYUK) and Kim Won lost his bio mom at the age of 6. Then his father remarried (a union that produced no children) in a rarity the father's mistress did get pregnant and the second wife willingly moved out (without a divorce) allowing the mistress to move in and raise her son Kim Tan with his father.

Won hates his brother, his stepmother and his brother's mother (aka his father's mistress)

Note: Why does Korean Dramas Half Brothers refer to their brother as step and not half.

Half Brother is when you share one parent, but not both.

Step Brother is for example a woman has a son from a previous relationship and marries a man with a son from a previous relationship. Making her son and her new husband's son stepbrothers.
