AU where Galadriel and HalRon end up staying in Numenor for a few more months.But since Miriel doesn't trust them, yet, Elendil decides to take responsibility.Galadriel ends up as a guest in his house. Unable to part from his She-Elf, Halbrand gaslights Elendil into taking him in as well. At first, he doesn't care at all for Elendil or his family but his perfectionist self loses it when he sees the lack of order in the house and how neither Elendil nor his kids look after themselves that much. He is the first to wake up each morning and clean the house before leaving for the forge. Then, he graduates to packing lunches for Elendil, Isildur, Eärien and himself with a special one for Galadriel. Sometimes, he gossips with Eärien and Isildur and walks back home with them and thinks Eärien can do better than Kemen.

Galadriel suspects he has grown a bit too fond of this family but HalRon disagrees. Of course, he could never care for these mortals. But she has an idea that if something were to happen to them, he would kill everyone on the island and himself too.
