there is something very character-like whenever I braid a tiny little bit of hair over one ear so I just have a little tendril braid thing and then it gets to fall free of my larger braid and it tends to curl and it makes me feel pretty

Stan likes to keep his hair kinda shaggy most of the time, and doesn't really care about his hair lenght most of the time until Kyle says it's maybe time for a haircute.

Kyle keeps his hair nice and well groomed. Hair lenght varies over the years, but he has considered shaving it all off during the summer when it's at it's hottest (Stan somehow convinced him not to)

Aaah I could see these!

Personally, I think they'll flip-flop during their late teens/early twenties, almost entirely because I like the idea of Kyle having a mullet at some point.

I do think he would eventually keep his hair very short (like he does in post-covid), and I honestly imagine Stan keeping his short at that age, too.

Honestly, Stan strikes me as the kind of guy that only cuts his hair when it gets too long to be comfortable anymore, too, while Kyle maintains a style pretty consistently and is punctual with visiting the barber every 4 weeks.

Of course this is totally unrelated to how much I also enjoy Kyle having long hair (ㅅ´ ˘ `)

Why are box braids so damn hard to do it yourself. I have a renewed and greater respect for my DIY people 💙
