This week's hair rinse is hibiscus. I have some grey I want to cover and I would love my hair to have a red hue. The photos do not do justice to this deep red rinse. It is beautiful. I'm not really getting a scent from it. Actually I cannot detect any scent. Which could be me or the fact my house smells like a coffee shop right now. I think I may add a few drops of lavender oil before I use on my hair. How to apply hair conditioner ? . ¤ Choose the right conditioner for your hair needs, whether curly and frizzy hair, dry and damaged,coloured or fine hair. . ¤ Wash your hair with your favorite shampoo. . ¤ Rinse out your shampoo well with the warm water, warm water is safer on your hair than the hot water. . ¤ Wring out your hair, don't apply the conditioner on the sopping wet hair as it will not allow the conditioner to sit on your hair. Spend a bit of time to get the water out as much as you can. . ¤ Apply your conditioner, take a require amount of conditioner and apply to the hair ends, as the end parts are more damaged one(it's the oldest); make sure that you have applied the conditioner to the every strands of your hair. . ¤ Don't apply the conditioner near the scalp and roots, as it will clog the follicles and slows down the hair growth and it will also increase the oil production. . ¤ Let the conditioner sit, this step is optional; the longer you allow the conditioner to sit, the more you will be able to improve your hair's health. . ¤ Rinse out the conditioner, I would suggest you to wash out the conditioner using the cold/ room temperatured water. Rosemary Hair Rinse #1 2 tbsp of dried rosemary 2 cups water Add rosemary and water to a pot. Bring to a simmer, simmer covered, on low for 30 minutes. Remove from heat let cool completely. Strain, store in a jar in fridge for up to a week. I use 1/2 cup at a time. After shampooing and conditioning I pour or spray rosemary rinse on hair and scalp. Let set a minute or several then rinse with cool water. Most times I add 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar to my rinse before use.
