The Importance of Hands-on Training in Hair Transplant Training Courses
The desire for the hair transplant technique is rising at a high rate, and this shows that hair transplant surgery has become so popular. This goes together with the fact that there is a demand for these professionals who can do it. There should be practical training for those who want to study how to perform hair transplant operations. This enables them to apply their skills practically in real-life situations. Hands-on training leads to practical experience, expertise, and the ability to confidently perform successful transplants.
In this blog post, I will explain why hands-on training is important in hair transplant courses, hair transplant course eligibility, and its significance to learners.
Understanding Hair Transplant Procedures
A surgical procedure in which bald or thinning areas are transplanted with healthy hair from the back of the head. Two general methods exist for performing such procedures: Follicular Unit Transplantation and Follicular Unit Extraction.
In FUT, skin-bearing hair follicles are cut out from the donor area, and then cells are carefully dissected and separated.
Unlike in FUE, this technique allows doctors to obtain donor areas that leave no hair follicles behind, creating an opportunity for natural transplant into bald areas and making you feel like it’s your real hair.
Both procedures demand a high level of precision and expertise, which can only be achieved through proper learning and practice. This emphasis on the quality of care can reassure the audience about the professionalism of the medical professionals involved.
Why Hands-on Training is Essential
Real-life Experience
There is nothing like practical experience. Hair transplantation procedures require a good understanding of the theory, which can only be obtained via classroom learning. It is through hands-on training that students are given the opportunity to work on real clients under supervision of experienced professionals. This experience has helped so many students understand the nitty-gritties involved in the procedure as well as how to manage unexpected situations and run after efficiency.
Skill Development
Steady hands and sharp eyes are indispensable for one who desires to perform a hair transplant successfully. It is important that students acquire these skills through practical training. They learn how to make precise cuts, handle fragile hair follicles while implanting them accurately. Gradually, learners become confident in their abilities as they progress through different practical sessions.
Immediate Feedback
When students perform procedures during hands-on training, they receive immediate instructor feedback. This is very important feedback towards learning and improvement. Teachers can identify errors, give suggestions on improved methods and address students’ queries; this will help the learners to improve fast.
Understanding Patient Interaction
One of the most important factors is how a hair restoration surgeon interacts with patients. The importance of gaining trust and establishing a connection with future patients is very valuable. Direct practical lessons in the form of courses on how to speak effectively with patients assist students’ comprehension of managing their expectations and giving them suitable care.
Boosting Self-assurance
The idea of having a hair transplant can be scary, especially for those who are just starting out. Hands-on training can enable learners to carry out their tasks under supervision, thus building self-assurance. The more times they attempt this surgery, the more they will feel at ease once they go into solo practice.
Learning the Entire Process
Hair transplant surgery is a series of activities that include the primary visit and the aftercare. The whole method is practicable. This enables the student to appreciate each step in its entirety. It makes them capable of examining patients, deciding on operations, implementing transplants, and maintaining follow-up care. One must be well aware of all these aspects to improve healthcare delivery.
Choosing the Right Training Program
When seeking a hair transplant training in India, it is vital to select one that provides comprehensive practical sessions. The program should be taught by seasoned professionals who can guide students and offer them all the necessary assistance for success. Seek programs that provide a mix of traditional classroom instruction and practical exposure.
Tumblr media
Conclusion
It is necessary for hair transplant training courses to have hands-on training. By doing this, students can gain practical experience in a work environment, hone their skills more quickly and receive instant feedback which fortifies their belief in the field. While selecting a course program for hair transplantation, students should always consider those that involve extensive practical activities.
IICSAM recognizes the value of practical training. We have designed our classes to enable students get a comprehensive understanding of the industry while being mentored by professionals. We reckon that education via action is the most effective way of learning, and this is how we teach. Enroll with IICSAM to gain competence and self-assurance in surgical hair transplant procedures.
Faqs:
What are the methods of hair transplant surgeries?
FUE and FUT are the only methods for hair transplantation. FUE is about removing single strands of hairs and implanting them back, whereas FUT involves moving a strip of skin bearing the hairs.
How does IICSAM facilitate hands-on training?
IICSAM offers its students practical experience from industry experts through intensive hands-on training. The programs greatly stress hands-on practice to ensure that learners are well-equipped with the necessary skills to perform hair transplants competently.

I lost my mother last week. You know this kind of thing happens.. it's almost guaranteed to lose your parents, unless something terrible happens and your parents lose you first. I know it could.. but nothing can prepare you for it.
My mother had 5 children. I was her 3rd and only girl. When I was younger I remember getting upset about not getting a sister. My brothers had a sister and 3 brothers. I had 4 brothers and no sister.
My mum handled it like a champ of course. She wanted more girls but 5 was her limit of tries. So her solution was to step in for anything I might need a sister for. Helping me pick clothes, doing my hair, helping with makeup, explaining puberty, answering embarrassing questions, hyping me up when I needed, befriending my friends, pushing me when I needed it, giving me the tough talks.
My mother became my best friend and I never once got embarrassed by her despite her worrying qbout that. Alot. She'd ask if I'd rather go to this movie with friends or hang out with someone else for the day instead of her. No. Of course not. I was so proud to have such a wonderful mum. She was fun, smart, hilarious, caring, brave, protective, beautiful, kind and so incredibly good. How could I ever not want to spend time with her?
Some of my friends had different relationships with their mums, ranging from the typical "That's my mum, she buys me stuff and cooks for us and helps me when I get hurt. I love her" to the "She's so annoying, why can't she just leave me alone" relationships. If I had to hang out with friends that treated their mums like c**p for no reason I'd go home and immediately crawl into my mums arm and hug her (even as an adult) and tell her about how horrid they were to their mum and how I could never do that. She always hugged me tighter at those times.
She got sick 3 years ago, and after months of blood tests and iron infusions she ended up in the ER and was admitted and kept for 18 months. Eventually she was diagnosed with Refactory Celiacs and they started trial drugs and treatment. After her bone marrow transplant and chemo she stabilized enough to come home, not because she was better but because her mental health was so low from being away from home for so long that the doctors and nurses insisted she should be allowed home.
Home helped her happiness but the pain never left, the symptoms never left, the disadvantages and restrictions never left. She persisted though. She had to go back sometimes when an infection came up or she lost too much blood or, as her last admittance, she had difficulty breathing.
Her last stay was 2 months long. She couldn't breathe easy which they'd found shadows on her lungs but biopsies showed nothing. Her right arm was no longer responsive, she'd be lucky to move her fingers. Doctors did a few lumbar punctures but only found 2 types of t-cells present. Her last operation was to get more punctures but they took too few so they were rescheduling. Her liver and kidneys were failing because of her TPN but she was dependent on that so she was told she'd be eligible for organ transplants as she didn't drink or smoke.
She also developed an infection they diagnosed as staff a week before her passing before changing that to sepsis as her oxygen got so low they had to keep uping her delivery of such (nose hoses, then mask, then hood, then eventually the throat tube). She was moved to ICU, put on every antibiotic they can physically put in her body, put her in an induced coma and hooked her up to the oxygen tube and dialysis. 6 hours later we got a call from ICU saying she had took a turn and another 6 hours of sitting by her side holding her hand, still in her coma, they had to start turning the machines off.
My world narrowed at that point, and we hyper focused on mums funeral which we had yesterday. It's been a complete blur and I'm still struggling to understand that she's not here. I reach for my phone to call her. I push share on a cute puppy video. I order her lollies and get excited to surprise her. I hear something funny and have it half typed out before I stop. I look towards her chair to smile at her. I sit in her seat in the car and plan to move when we pick her up despite that not being the meaning of the trip. I write another chapter but I can't get her to read it. I push my anxiety limits and fears and beat them but I can't tell her or see her massive grin and hear her tell me how so very proud she is and plan with her what we'll do when we're both better. I cry from my thoughts and heart. In public. In private. I cry hard, loud and I can't stop until I'm exhausted. I can't look at my ceiling because she covered it with glow in the dark stars when I was 20 while I was at work. Half my books she bought me. Half my plushies she bought me. Half my clothes she bought me. Half my room is her and memories of her. Her dogs, her cat, her photos, her seat, her trinkets, her renovations, her art, her tissues, her lollies, her hoodie, her shoes, her spare room/clean room, her blankets, her pillows, her everything is everywhere..
My mother was my biggest fan, my rock, my best friend and the bravest person I knew and I can't wrap my head around not being able to speak to her again.. she is everywhere but nowhere to be found. I catch myself talking aloud to her. I talk to her in my mind and memos and I say our catch phrases and my laugh is hers and my smile is hers and my face is hers and I'm so so.. numb.. empty.. lost.. broken. I'm 32, my mother was 53. I thought I'd have so many more years with her.. but now she won't see my wedding, or any of the boys. She wont meet any of my kids or any more added by the boys. She wont help me move or drive or write or pick me up after a break up or help me with advice for wooing a pretty girl or picking my next pair of converse or drag me to watch ANOTHER Fast and Furious movie or get to watch the 2nd season of Wednesday or go camping again.. she had so many plans.. and I don't like knowing how quickly all of that.. life.. is gone. I'm terrified and heartbroken and angry qnd I can't even go to the one person who could help me sort through it.
My mother was the biggest part of my life and now that part is gone and I have no idea what to do.. I'm eating because she'd want me to. I'm sleeping because she'd want me to. I'm going outside and talking because she'd want me to. I'm keeping in contact with the boys because she'd want me to. I'm keeping dad grounded because she'd want me to. But I don't want anything.. I don't know how to deal with that.. so instead I'm here writing a long a** post that will not be read and hoping it helps my heart feel a little less like a broken mess.

Tumblr media
Cosmetology is a multidisciplinary field that integrates various areas of beauty and wellness. It involves not only enhancing a person’s physical appearance but also boosting self-confidence and overall well-being. Can I Go For Hair Transplant at The Age of 20?
Tumblr media
Nowadays, youngsters under the age of 20 are also experiencing partial or complete baldness. This is a distressing experience, which encourages them to consider a hair transplant. But a hair transplant is an invasive treatment that has some eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by candidates willing to consider it in light of their desired outcome.
After considering the hair transplant cost in Mumbai, a question arises as to whether it is suitable to undergo a hair transplant at the age of 20. Dr. Sumit Agrawal, a renowned hair transplant surgeon in the town, has answered this question. By considering his answers, this blog will help you consider factors before making a decision and the potential risks involved in considering a hair transplant at the age of 20.
Identifying the Root Cause of Hair Loss: Identifying the root cause of hair loss is critical before considering a hair transplant at the age of 20. Genetics, hormonal problems, stress, nutrient shortages, or specific medical disorders are only a few of the causes of hair loss in young people. Finding the underlying cause and selecting the best course of action might be facilitated by consulting a hair restoration professional.
Stability of Hair Loss: Hair loss in young adults may still be in its early stages and not yet fully stabilised. Here, it is important to understand that hair transplant is a permanent solution, but it does not prevent further hair loss in other areas. If hair loss continues after a transplant, it can create an unnatural appearance, with transplanted hair surrounded by thinning or balding areas. Therefore, it is generally advisable to wait until hair loss stabilises before considering a hair transplant.
Long-term Planning: A hair transplant requires careful planning and consideration of future hair loss patterns. The procedure redistributes hair from one area of the scalp (donor area) to another (recipient area). Since young individuals may experience progressive hair loss in the future, it is important to anticipate and plan for potential future hair loss and factor it into the transplant design. This ensures a more natural and aesthetically pleasing outcome over time.
Emotional Maturity and Realistic Expectations: Undergoing a hair transplant is a significant decision that requires emotional maturity and realistic expectations. Along with realistic expectations, this treatment requires patience and the treated area’s post-operative care. Additionally, the success of the treatment depends on various factors, including the quality and quantity of donor hair, the skill of the surgeon, Having a thorough understanding of the procedure and its limitations is crucial before proceeding.
Conclusion
Although receiving a hair transplant at the age of 20 can be successful, this decision needs to be carefully considered. This consideration includes the source of hair loss, the stability of hair loss, long-term planning, emotional maturity, and reasonable expectations. It is recommended to speak with a hair restoration specialist like Dr. Sumit Agarwal, popular for hair transplant in Mumbai at Harleys Clinic.

Patron deity au. Someone has to work with Aizawa during a case and is just like "god this dude, who could even stand him in a personal relationship. He's so uptight (blah, blah, blah, etc, you get the idea)"
Aizawa, going home to his deity spouse and their 20+ kids and extreme amount of pets. "I haven't known peace in years and at this point I think I would hate it."
Oh yeah this would take place into the future of the verse and it'd be delightful:
Some rookie cop or young non-UA hero who recently relocated to Musutafu ends up working with Shouta on a case and absolutely does not know What's Up(TM).
And no one in the entire station plans on telling them. It's hands down funnier to watch them learn the truth on their own and they, to be frank, kind of deserve to be knocked down a few pegs.
(Because let's face it, by this point Ichigo is a well-known Musutafu cryptid and worship may or may not have spread out into the city itself thanks to the students. And although UA remains Ichigo's stronghold time finds him growing stronger and stronger as time passes. And Aizawa is Aizawa and thus is also a cryptid on his own.)
But this young non-Musutafu native just can't stand Aizawa/Eraserhead. He absolutely rubs this dude the wrong way.
Aizawa comes across as so straightlaced and fucking brutal when it comes to picking out flaws in plans. The only showboating he puts up with is when Mic is feeling dramatic and the only cowboying he doesn't immediately shut down is when Snipe is close by.
(Ichigo with all of his Ichigo-ness doesn't count in Shouta's eyes because there's some idiot hero or cop thinking they're invincible and then there's Ichigo. And those are very much two different situations. Besides, Shouta is a lot of things but the only time he's interested in fighting a literal force of nature is when Ichigo and him spar, mainly because he knows exactly how that's going to end.)
So when this baby-transplant finally figures out through pieced together overheard conversations that Aizawa is married??
Oh they are absolutely beside themselves. Who the fuck would marry that boring asshole? Dude has the energy and expression of a corpse.
Then, one day, after Aizawa has reamed them out for, once again, getting ahead of themselves on this case, they stomp out into the lobby of the station and immediately freeze.
Because the lobby is full of faces they recognize. There's Deku and Shouto standing huddled beside each other. Ground Zero and Creati are also there as well as Ingenium II and a few other faces they recognize. All members of the infamous 2-A, the UA class everyone says is going to absolutely destroy the hero rankings the moment they graduate. (There are even rumors that they're already messing with them and that Deku specifically has been ranking higher and higher each time despite not technically being eligible yet.)
But what really catches their attention is the man leaning against the wall. Dressed in an old fashion black yukata that's been left to gape open at the neck, arms folded across his chest, long vibrant orange hair pulled up into a high tail, and bright eyes watching over the gathered students, he's obviously a hero of some kind and he is, more importantly, absolutely gorgeous.
There's nothing on earth that could or would stop them from stepping forward and introducing themselves.
Not even the way the 2-A members seem to look between themselves, back at baby-transplant, and then towards the orange-haired man and immediately start snickering.
They slide up to the man's side, shoulders pulled back and chin tilted up proudly, and introduce themselves. Hero name first, of course.
"Hmm," the man hums, vibrant and kind of unsettling eyes cutting in their direction "you can call me, Kurosaki."
It's not the warm reception they were hoping for but it's better than nothing. They're willing to put in the work.
So they stand there chatting at Kurosaki for a bit before the door to the lobby swings open again.
They barely bite back a groan of irritation when Aizawa steps out into the lobby and heads towards the front desk but nothing stamps down the sneer that immediately crawls across their face.
"Someone you don't like?" Kurosaki abruptly asks, seemingly taking interest in the conversation for the first time.
"Just a complete asshole," they don't hesitate to throw Aizawa under the bus. "Some no-name Underground Hero who thinks he knows better than everyone else. If he was that good he'd be Limelight."
"Underground Heroes are important," Kurosaki points out mildly.
"Of course," they back peddle just a bit. "But that guy's just a cold fish. Doesn't have an ounce of the passion I do for anything as far as I've seen."
"Oh I bet," Kurosaki hums, mouth pulled up slightly at one corner.
Aizawa picks that moment to turn in their direction. He looks at the 2-A students first (who have all, for some reason, huddled together and now seem to be passing money between them) and then towards where they and Kurosaki are standing.
"Oh great," they huff as he starts in their direction. "Hopefully I can get rid of him fast and then, if you'd like, I'd love to take you out to talk some more?"
Aizawa's there before Kurosaki gets a chance to reply.
"Planning a date?" Aizawa asks, dead eyes staring into their face.
"What's it to you?" They snap back. "Pissed because you'll never get one?"
"Pretty sure my chances are better than yours," Aizawa states blandly, hands tucked into his pockets and shoulders slouched like always.
Aizawa turns towards Kurosaki then, ignoring the way they sputter.
"What'd you say?" Aizawa asks.
"Hmm," Kurosaki hums again. "Not sure my husband would like that, me going on a date with some stranger. Might not be worth it"
Disappointment immediately slides down their spine because of course Kurosaki, as gorgeous as he is, is married.
But at least this means they get to see Aizawa flame out too.
"Don't know about that," Aizawa unexpectedly says. "Bet I could convince you."
"Oh," Kurosaki murmurs, low and almost intimate, "you're welcome to try."
And then Aizawa takes a step forward to crowd into Kurosaki's space and they can only watch in some kind of horror as Aizawa kisses Kurosaki.
It's deep and intimate, absolutely not something meant to happen in the middle of a police station lobby.
It takes too long for the kiss to break even as the 2-A members hoot and holler just a bit in the background, something about "Sensei and Ichi-nii are at it again".
They're beginning to believe they might have missed something here.
"How was that?" Aizawa asks when he finally breaks the kiss, something unexpectedly smug in his expression. "Not bad for a cold fish huh?"
And that's the exact moment they realize Aizawa must have heard every single thing they've ever said about him behind his back.
"Well," Kurosaki says, face flushed and lips just a bit swollen, "guess there's a reason I married you after all huh?"
They don't bother to stick around after that. Instead, they turn tail and head out onto the street.
That was more than enough humiliation for one day for them.

He hated every new year celebration where he had to see her and take a photo. She had started making fun of his gorgeous face when they were teens.
“Father I don’t want to marry her she is a pig” He stomped his foot upset “Can’t I choose someone I actually love, just keep your mouth shut and take the photo with her”
“Mother he looks like an alpaca and he is mean, he has been oinking behind my back” You begged. Your mother didn’t say a word and pushed you in front of the cameraman.
“Now stay still for at least thirty seconds” the man called ducking under the curtain.
“Why do they make me do this with you?” Slapping him across the face the flash went off and you both froze confused before you ran off.
You hadn’t gone back to a new years party since that is until you turned twenty, your parents and his were outraged that their children were not already married. You sat in the chair as your mother wrapped you in a dark rose coloured skirt and helped you into a navy blue jegori that was tied around your chest with a ribbon. Your hair was twisted into a braid and makeup looking very alluring.
Over the years you had grown into your body, you weren’t very thin but your proportions were much more mature. Walking slowly across the hall you, politely greeting other families and your mother smiled. “Wow Kim Seokjin looks Handsome today, I am so glad we decided to have your outfits match you will look so good together, come let’s get a photo”
You didn’t fight it, just wanting it to be over before it had even begun, you stood in front of the cameraman your arms crossed.
“You haven’t gotten any taller since I last met you” Seokjin smirked as he was now towering over you. “Not even a hello, are your manners still as poor as the last time we met, should I protect my face”
“Listen, I don’t like this as much as you do, so just shut up and smile” you hissed looking up at him, cursing your heart for racing at the sight of him. His eyes seemed to soften and explore your face, you were both frozen long enough for the flash of the camera, your cheeks grew hot as you turned away.
Min Yoongi: Lie
“The Tooth fairy isn’t real mummy,” your daughter said to you with a smile
“What do you mean?” You were horrified your daughter’s childhood wonder and innocence had been corrupted. “Of course the tooth fairy is real who told you that?”
“Daddy said, the tooth fairy, Santa and the Easter bunny are just Mummy and Daddy giving me secret gifts” She smiled “So thank you for the train set mummy I loved it, and the archery set, and the book of robin hood”
You sent her off to play with her toys in the room, making a direct route to Yoongi’s office where he was writing an important email. You were furious. “You told our daughter that the easter bunny, Santa and the tooth fairy weren’t real. What is wrong with you she is 4 years old, and you just” You were crying “she was my little girl”
“She is still your little girl, but she asked me why Santa only brought her one present last year and why the tooth fairy takes a week to arrive. Look I told her in a way that was gentle and she wasn’t upset, she said that she is thankful that we buy her the presents and that Santa shouldn’t get the credit for our hard work trying to make money for gifts. She said that it was weird thinking some man would come into our house at night to leave presents.”
Jung Hoseok: Maps
“Map of the souls” you read the icon confused having no memory of downloading the app. Opening it curiously. Music began playing it looked pretty fancy, you watched as it showed you a map of the world.
-Click To Begin-
You clicked and it zoomed in exactly where your finger had pressed, “what is happening?” You tapped the screen some more wanting the introduction video to whatever game this was to be over.
You saw a few dots on the screen moving around in a town, “you hummed and clicked on a barely-there dot and it smiled showing you a profile, you were so confused what was this game. And who was Jung Hoseok?
Jung Hoseok is upset. Try to cheer him up.
-Send Gift-
-Send Message-
-Call-
You decided to send a gift, hoping this wouldn’t cost you money but what came up were real-life places. “This is Hoseok's favourite restaurant would you like to order his favourites and have them delivered, what the hell is this game?”
You ordered the food and sent it to his location. And added a message. “Hey try to cheer up, friend” you closed the app confused when a short time later you got a notification of a video. It was real footage of Hoseok receiving your gift. He got so excited. Cute.
Kim Namjoon: First Contact
Namjoon paced back and forth, what was it going to be like, this would change his world forever. He was scared this alien thing was going to take over everything he could hardly breathe. All he saw was white coats passing the halls and the god awful noises inside.
“We are ready for you now?” A white coat peeked their head through the door their voice muffled by the mask they were wearing. He nodded, following their orders. Being lead deeper into the foreign space.
He heard the cries and saw you looking absolutely exhausted from the torture this alien brought. He walked over giving you a kiss before looking down into your arms to see the being responsible.
His heart melted, it was his baby. He finally accepted everything, when the tiny fist caught his finger he swore he would protect his son with his life.
Park Jimin: Grow
You were travelling through a black market website, there was something slightly illegal you wanted to buy but the seller was currently out of stock, you hummed ignoring the human trafficking and organs for transplant you scrolled past a picture of seeds, you looked. “Grow your own boyfriend”
You laughed and bought the product for fun. Not expecting anything to come in the mail you were surprised when there was a small package. Opening the package you found a packet of seeds, you read these instructions and planted watered it over time a flower started to grow, it was an odd plant so you weren’t too worried.
The plant was growing a large pumpkin. You watched it everyday growing bigger and bigger until you had reached the supposed harvest day you heard a noise from inside singing.
“Hello?” You asked
“Hello” a voice called back “what’s your name?”
“Uh y/n”
“My names Jimin”
“Would you like to come out now?” You asked cracking open a little, inside of the pumpkin he was sitting cross-legged and naked looking at the light you had made.
Kim Taehyung: Sheets
Taehyung didn’t want to get out of bed, so in a moment of brilliance he was struck with an idea, he ripped the sheets from the bed. Running through the house to the living room, he began hanging the sheet and frowned.
This wouldn’t work, he grabbed more sheets from the linen cupboard and started hanging them here and there. Even grabbing the beach umbrella from the garage door a roof. He kept working until he made a fort, he took some old Christmas lights and hung them inside. He went in and sat inside but it was kind of boring.
Back to the cupboard he grabbed more sheets and extended his house around the television. He sat inside watching television but he grew quite warm. He wheeled the portable air cooler from the spare room and wheeled it into the space the tube of hot air he placed it out a nearby window.
The door opened and he giggled silently in his extravagant hut. “Taehyung honey are these out good sheets”
“Uh no,” you climbed inside and he gave a sheepish smile “I love you”
Jeon Jungkook: Sorry
“I am sorry, I am so sorry. This is all my fault forgive me” He was clutching you to his chest crying harder than you were.
“One more push Mrs Jeon” You tried to muster up as much strength as you could breathing deeply and pushing like your life depended on it because at this moment it sure did feel like it did.
“Congratulations, it’s a baby boy” Jungkook kissed you brushing your damp hair off your face, the baby was crying as he cut the cord and it only made him cry harder at the sound.
“Where are they taking him?” Jungkook was trying to follow the bundle. He watched as they did a heel prick the baby was crying tears pouring down Jungkook’s face, it took a few scared nurses to hold him back.
“Kookie I don’t feel so good, can you get the nurse?” he grabbed your hand and called the nurse over and she checked
“Uh Mr and Mrs Jeon Congratulations, you have twins, you have to push again for me, okay?”
“Kookie, it hurts, please I can’t do this again”
“I am sorry, I am right here. I love you. Your my wife, you aren’t weak. Your a badass bitch come on baby, kick births ass” Though he said the words so unconvincingly through tears had given you the strength to keep going.
“Congratulations it’s a girl!
These are prompts feel free to use them just tag me as I want to read what people create.

Title: Learning to Love the Cold Chapter Title: Spread Eagles Chapter: 14/? Fandom: snk/aot Pairing: jeanmarco Summary: After he watches her disappear into the rink, he turns his attention towards the end of the hallway. Walking over, he glances at all of his snack options from the vending machines. Some mini brownies didn’t sound too bad. FF.Net | AO3
Jean sighs, glancing down at his phone. Despite the Olympics having come to a close, Marco was still training hard. He doesn’t mind watching Marco skate, but he’s been watching him work on the same quad for at least twenty five minutes now, and his brain felt like it was going to short circuit. He plops his phone on top of his backpack and stands up to stretch. He catches Marco’s eye and gives him a bright smile -- he’s in a pretty good mood today, despite the boredom. He still has yet to tell Marco about his situation, but he’s been breathing fine, so he keeps pushing it to the back of his mind.
He quickly walks up the steps, heading out the door of the rink. He feels a slight temperature increase when he steps into the hallway, although not by much. He’s surrounded by windows on either side, one side looking down onto the rink Marco skates on, and the other one of the other rinks in the building. Jean realizes he’s never actually seen the third rink, but his thought process doesn’t get much further than that when he hears someone calling his name from a little ways down the hallway.
“Jean!” Hanji is waving at him, the usual eccentric smile lighting up the older woman’s face.
He raises his eyebrows, a little shocked that she even know his name, but starts walking towards her, hands deep in his pockets. She’s standing with a small blonde girl who’s back is facing him.
“Jean,” Hanji says again as he stops between the two women. She gestures towards the blonde, “This is Historia Reiss. If you watched the women’s event, she is the US’s gold medalist! She will be joining us in a few weeks time to train with Levi and me. I was wondering if you would like to show her around? You’re here often enough.”
“Oh,” Jean says, eyes widening slightly, “Yeah! I can do that,” he turns to the blonde. She has soft blue eyes and looks like an absolute angel. It’s kind of like the sun is shining down directly on her, even though they’re inside. “I’m Jean, but you already knew that,” he sticks his hand out to her.
She takes it, a small smile playing in her lips, “I’m Historia, but you already knew that.”
Hanji glances at her watch and the down at the rink, “I better get going. I have to take Eren and Mikasa soon.” With that, the woman strides past them, headed for the coach’s locker room.
They watch her go and sit in silence for a moment. Jean finally says, “Well, that’s the rink you’ll be skating on most,” pointing through the window. “I’m guessing you already know most of them?”
Historia nods, “Yeah, I’ve been competing with most of them for years.”
“What made you decide to come here?” Jean asks, although he has a feeling it’ll be some reason he won’t quite understand. He’s learned a lot about skating, but not nearly enough to understand it yet.
Historia pauses, watching the skaters fly across the ice. “Well,” she starts, “I loved my coach back in California, but he retired after the Olympics. I knew the coaches here were great, but my girlfriend actually moved here last year. She plays for the Trost Titans, the hockey team. It was kind of a no brainer.”
Jean nods, “That makes sense. Glad that worked out for you. I don’t know the rink as well as Hanji thinks, but I can show you the stuff I do know. Although I’m not allowed beyond a certain point since I don’t actually skate.”
“All you really have th show me is how to get to the locker room from here,” she smiles, “I can find everything else on my own. Rinks really aren’t that confusing once you get used to them, so it shouldn’t be all that bad.”
“Okay, well,” Jean points towards the left end of the rink, “See that hallway down there? That leads to all of the locker rooms. They’re all marked from what I saw the few times I’ve been allowed back there. There’s coaches, internationals -- which I’m guessing is you -- high level, low level, and basic. Internationals is the first right.”
“You made that easy,” she says. “I think I’m gonna go check it out now. Thanks for your help!”
“O-of course!” Jean stutters, watching her go. Really, she must be an actual angel.
After he watches her disappear into the rink, he turns his attention towards the end of the hallway. Walking over, he glances at all of his snack options from the vending machines. Some mini brownies didn’t sound too bad.
After a small fight with the machine, Jean is headed back to his seat, brownies happily in hand. He stops, however, when he catches a glance at what’s happening on the other rink. There’s a large group of girls chatting, all wearing greyish dresses with longer skirts. At first he thinks dance, but no, there wouldn’t be that many dancers on the ice, even if it they were all doing solo. He watches them get into positions (or, at least, he assumes is into their starting positions). He can’t hear it well because of the glass, but the music started and he’s somewhat in awe at these girls moving in complete unison with each other.
So, it’s synchronized skating. He knew they had various level teams here, but he had never paid much attention to what has happening on the other rinks to actually see them skate. A few of the girls are wearing the team coats, and he occasionally catches a flash of “Trost Twizzlers” on their backs. With how long the program is and how effortlessly they flow, Jean assumes this must be one of their highest level teams.
Before he knows it, he’s watched the entire program. The girls all take a quick lap around the rink, a few lingering and chatting with each other.
Jean furrows his brows when his eyes lands on one girl with short, chin length, amber hair. She has a devious smile on her face as she chats with another girl. She catches Jean’s eye and smiles at him, causing his to quickly glance away.
Where did he recognize her from? School? No.
Where?
With a sigh, he continues his walk back to his seat.
Marco swings his keys around on his lanyard absentmindedly, watching the zamboni cross the ice. He glances back over at Jean, who’s leaning against the window, playing on his phone.
“I’m gonna head back down to the locker room. Meet me at the diner?” Marco says, turning quickly on his heel.
Jean looks up and pockets his phone, pulling his own keys from his pocket. “Okay sweet, I’ll get us a table.”
He watches Marco head for the locker rooms and begins walking towards the entrance doors.
“Jean.”
He stops, looking down the hallway to the left of the entrance. The girl who spoke is the same girl from earlier, on the synchro team. She’s still in her dress, although now she has a coat on as well, with Hitch written on the right side chest and the Trost Twizzlers logo on the left. He can’t tell how tall she is, but she can’t be that tall since she has her skates on and is still shorter than him.
Reading her name makes it all click though. He doesn’t know her from school, but from the children’s clinic back in California.
“Hitch.”
“It’s been a while,” she says, her hand coming to rest on one hip, the smallest of smirks on her face. “What brings you here?” she gestures around the rink.
“Oh, I’m dating one of the singles skaters,” he says, and then clarifies, “Marco.”
She nods for a moment and then says, “Glad to see you finally had your gay awakening.”
“Hey-”
“I’m kidding, chill,” she laughs, rolling her eyes. “But no, I knew that. I meant Michigan. Aren’t you a California boy through and through?”
He shrugs, “I didn’t have much say, dad got a job offer here with good benefits.”
“It’s always the benefits,” she sighs.
“You too?” he asks.
She shakes her head, “No, actually. My dad found a clinical trial for the heart disease I have through Trost’s med school and signed me up. Somehow got accepted. It went well enough that they wanted me to try a sport to keep my heart healthy or whatever, and now I’m here.”
“I don’t think it goes from starting a sport to be healthy to being a competitive skater, but okay,” Jean says with an eyebrow raised.
“Fair point, our team is going to world’s a month, so I guess there was some other stuff in there,” she shrugs. “How are you holding up?”
“Alright. Had some breathing issues on and off since moving here, but nothing terrible. If I actually survive for a few more months, I might be eligible for a lung transplant.” He hadn’t actually said that out loud to anyone yet, but it felt kind of good to tell someone. He knows it should’ve been Marco to hear it first, but Hitch already knows the situation. She gets it.
“That’s great!” she says, “I really hope that happens. Maybe you can actually get into music again.”
“That would be pretty great, wouldn’t it?” His eyes wander towards the parking lot, where the sun is starting to set. “I need to go, I’m meeting Marco for dinner. It was nice to talk to you again. Good luck at worlds.”
“Thanks. Good luck with your lungs,” she turns around and heads back down the hallway, her blades clicking against her guards with each step.
Happy midpac guys! I'm literally chilling at the rink right now as I post this. It's funny, when I started this fic I had no intentions of including certain characters or disciplines of skating, but things have changed quite a bit since I started this fic back in 2014. I'm skating for my university now, although I'm only doing intercollegiate (solo) because my study abroad last spring made it a little too difficult to do synchro this year. Come fall, I will be though! Which is insane, I had never considered doing synchro until last year! I wish I would've decided to do it my first year of college. I'm in my third year now, which is wild since I started this fic as a sophomore in high school.

Girls Like You - Chapter Twenty - Miracle Aligner
Miracle Aligner - The Last Shadow Puppets
So what’s the wish, he’ll make it come true Simple as a line out of a doo wop tune He’ll make the moves
“C’mere” I sniff, patting the bed next to me and doing my best to suppress the memory, but I just have such a vivid mental picture in my head, of Harry sitting in the bed behind me, my back against his front, his arms around me, my fingers gripping his legs as I was forced to push.
Blair’s P.O.V
Sleep evades him, I can feel his restlessness throughout the night as he tosses and turns only inches away from me. It keeps me up, not that sleep wasn’t evading me also. I want to touch him, and hold him, make him feel better in any way that I can, but I hesitate, unsure if he would let me or not.
I face him in the bed, watching him as he dozes, his mouth ajar and warm breaths tickling my skin. Harry looks so peaceful, I never want to wake him and have to see him so stressed out and distressed again. He’s been through more than enough in the past few years, it feels like we just can’t catch a break.
Sighing heavily, I peek over his shoulder at the clock on his bedside table, it tells me that it’s only 2:38am, and I slump back down into my pillow, wishing the 24 hour wait would be over already so we knew if any of us were eligible to donate some of our liver to save Anne’s life.
I know how much Harry wants it to be him, after what Robin said to him yesterday, he interpreted it the only way he knew how to, and that meant that he now blamed himself entirely for all of this, when that isn’t the case at all. Anne would be so upset if she knew he thought that way. It even upsets me, but no matter what I tell him, he won’t listen or think any differently. None of this is his fault, he already has the weight of the world on his shoulders, he hates disappointing their fans as well. I know the interruption to the tour will be on his mind as well, he’ll feel bad for letting the boys down too, and their management.
All I can do is be here for him, be a rock and offer my support because he needs me.
What feels like only moments later, but is actually hours later, Harry gently wakes me, shaking my shoulder lightly. I stretch my body out, and open one eye. Light is just starting to peek through the cracks in the curtains and Harry’s face is hovering over me.
“What time is it?” I croak, my voice still raw from sleep, I wrangle my arms free from the bed sheets and wrap them around his frame, pulling him down on top of me with force that surprises him. His muscles release and he nuzzles into the crook of my neck, hiding there.
He doesn’t answer my question, so I glance over at the clock again, it’s 6:30am. Early as all hell, but I know he is desperate to get back to his Mum. Harry will want to be there before she wakes up, but I want to keep him safe here for a while longer.
I keep the silence, opting to tickle patterns across his back and sides, showing him that I’m here, rather than speaking the words. If he weren’t so anxious and worried, he may have fallen asleep on me, and I wouldn’t have complained, but alas, we both know that we need to get up and face the day, no matter what news it may bring us.
A small peppering of kisses is left on my neck, his hair tickling the side of my face. “Thank you for being here” he whispers, lifting his head to lock eyes with me. I reach up a hand to pet a knuckle under his chin, “There’s nowhere I’d rather be” I assure him, lifting my chin up so he can kiss me. Once, twice, three times. I love you, he’s telling me.
We get showered and dressed, grabbing whatever is at the top of the bag that I packed for us both, I wear black leggings and steal one of Harry’s long sleeve plain grey tops, rolling up the sleeves and chucking on my white converse, the only pair of shoes I bought with me. Harry throws on some black gym shorts and a grey hoodie over his white t-shirt, with his trainers.
I don’t bother with makeup, just throwing my hair up into a messy ponytail and leaving it at that, there are much more important things to care about currently. We meet Gemma in the lobby and she shakes her head, pointing to the front door.
Camera’s. Of course.
They must have been tipped off, what shitty people would feel the need to do such a thing at a time like this. Why can’t they just respect our privacy for once instead of shoving a camera in someones face when they’re hurting.
“Let’s just go. I don’t have time for this shit.” Harry growls, grabbing my hand and pushing the door open, I grab Gemma’s hand and we form a bit of a chain, Harry dragging us through before breaking into  a run to the entrance of the hospital, security already waiting at the doors to let us in.
I know straight away that Harry won’t want to talk about it, or even mention it, so Gem and I just follow behind him as he storms the whole way to Anne’s room. Peeking his head around the corner to see if she’s awake, he’s disappointed when he sees her awake, already sitting up in bed, absent-mindedly doing a crossword while Robin snores quietly in the seat beside her.
When we all enter the room she looks up and her face illuminates, though it’s not easy to reciprocate her happiness genuinely, given the situation. “Hello my loves” she greets us, her voice hoarse. “Hey mum” Harry tries his best to sound happy, but it doesn’t sound honest, he’s irritable and on edge.
The day is spent much like that, we all make small talk, and avoid talking about the thing that is on all of our minds. Will any of us be a match?
What happens if none of us are a match?
How much longer will we be able to bask in the warm presence of Anne?
Anne tries to talk to Harry about the tour, apologising for causing all of this drama, having read about it in the paper this morning. “Remind me to tell the nurses not to give you any papers or magazines” he grumbles, not even looking at the paper, just leaving his seat, and throwing it straight in the rubbish bin before leaving the room to go across the hall to the nurses station.
“Don’t apologise, he just wants to be here with you” I comfort her, squeezing her hand and feeling an immense wave of guilt that she could die very soon, and I failed at giving her a grandchild before this happened. She nods, but she’s Harry is so much like his mother, she will sit on this feeling and feel guilty about it still.
The boys want Harry to be here, I don’t need them to tell me that, I just know. They understand, their fans should understand, and he will bend over backwards to make it up to them. Of course he would rather be on tour, than have to be here with his sick mum. Of course he’d rather worry about sound checks and outfit changes than have to constantly think about about whether or not his Mum will be alive to see the sun come up tomorrow morning.
***
It’s after dinner time when the doctors come to visit again, and the moment we’ve all been waiting for, for the past 24 hours is finally here at last. Why the hell does it take so long to get a result like this? Do they not know that someones life hangs in the balance?
My stomach rumbles in anticipation, none of us have touched any food, as a precautionary measure in case one of us is a match, we need to have not eaten before surgery. Although it has made all of us rather crabby, Harry in particular. I’m definitely feeling a bit of an attitude coming on.
“Anne, how are you feeling?” the Clooney doctor asks. Yeah, I’ve noticed. He’s a total silver fox. And his wee minion won’t stop staring at Harry with those adoring puppy dog eyes. I’m so cranky I just imagine head butting her. Which is totally un-ladylike but damn have some respect, thats my man and his mum is dying and she’s here, undressing him with her eyes.
I clear my throat, and her gaze flickers to me, catching me watching her before she looks down at the floor. I turn my attention back to the doctor, my butt on the edge of my seat and my hand clasped mega tightly in Harry’s, his anticipation is palpable.
“I’m sorry, but do you have the results?” Gemma butts in, interrupting routine questions. I can’t blame her to be honest, we’ve been patient enough, but we want to know. “Gem-” Anne goes to scold her for being rude, but she decides against it, sinking back into her pillows, exhausted and weak.
Clooney doctor holds up Anne’s medical chart, flicking over a few pages to get to the information we’ve all been waiting for. “Ah yes, right here… let me see…” he ponders, his eyes scanning over the results, deciphering whether one of us can be the lifeline Anne so desperately needs, or if she will fade away before our eyes. There’s no question that whoever the match is - assuming there is one - will consent to the transplant surgery.
Everyone’s breathing is hitched in their throats, except for Anne, who’s breathing rattles in her chest. I feel like I’m watching a show like the X-factor, where the host just takes forever to announce the winner, and then goes straight to an ad break before even announcing.
“It seems as though we have a match!” Clooney doctor announces, a triumphant smile on his face. His intern girl smiles warmly, and we all release the breaths we have been holding. Smiles all around, hands reaching to Anne, squeezing her hands, shoulders, kisses on her forehead. Harry watches the doctor carefully, “Who’s the match?” Anne asks, timidly. I can already tell that she doesn’t want it to be Harry. Feeling bad enough for taking him away from his tour, she would hate to have to keep him out of the game any longer, recovering from an organ donation.
“Miss Waters, you are the only positive match, everyone else came up negative.”
My breath gets trapped in my wind pipe once again, this seems like a regular occurrence, I just can’t seem to remember how to breathe today.
Harry turns to me, gripping my hand, hard. “Blair-”
“How soon can we do it?” I cut him off, there is no time to waste.
“Wait-”
“I haven’t touched food in over 24 hours, only had water.”
Clooney’s eyebrows raise, impressed by my prior preparation. “Well, there’s really no reason to wait, the sooner we can perform the transplant, the better.” He turns to his intern, “Book O.R 2 and make sure my favourite scrub nurse is available, admit Miss Waters and prep both her and Anne for surgery.” instructing, her, she wastes no time before darting off and fulfilling the instructions she is given.
Harry stands up, agitated. Lost. He looks at his Mum, and then to me, before storming out of the room without a single word. My heart drops a little in my chest, how can he be angry right now, when I can save Anne, when there’s now a fighting chance that she will pull through this.
“I’ll go” Gemma says, kissing Anne on the temple and squeezing my hand in a thank you, before rushing out of the room after her distraught brother. Maybe he needs her more than me right now, and that’s absolutely fine, because I need to be admitted, and someone needs to feed Harry so he can snap out of this.
Once Gemma is gone, I look up to see both Robin and Anne staring at me, wordlessly. I move to the seat Harry was in, right beside her and I grab a hold of her cool hand. “Don’t you even bother trying to talk me out of this young lady” I jokingly scold her, and she smiles, now hopeful.
“I could never ask you to do something like this for me Blair, but thank you. Thank you. I love you, darling.” she whispers, petting my head soothingly as I rest it on the side of her bed, worried about Harry.
This isn’t even something I need to think about, I wold give anything, do anything, be anything for the people I love, and this transplant is something I would do in a heartbeat, especially because it means saving a life. Not just any life either. I don’t consider the risks, or any complications, all I can think, is that I need to do this for Anne. Because a world without Anne is not a world I care to live in.
“Don’t you let a drop of alcohol touch my healthy liver, do you hear me?” I wink at Anne, and she shakes her head in shame. “I’m so sorr-” I hear her begin to crumble and I won’t allow it. I need her to be strong as well, because if Harry see’s her crumble, he will crumble himself, and he’s already upset enough. “No apologies, okay? Just promise me” I demand, holding my pinky finger up to show her I’m not messing around with this particular pact.
She locks her finger with mine, and promises me, not another drop.
Once I’m admitted, they leave a gown on my bed and close the curtains around me to give me some privacy. I’m not in the same room as Anne right now, but they’ve promised to put us together once we’re out of recovery.
I just got off the phone to my own mum, and she cried. A lot. Naturally, she’s worried sick, but I’ve given her Harry’s number so she can harass him for updates. She was more just proud of me than anything, proud that I would give up something like this for someone I love. But I don’t see it that way, I’m not giving anything up, my liver will be fine, I’m giving Harry’s mum another chance at life. I’m giving us the opportunity to have more time with an incredible woman in our lives. I feel guilty about putting my mum through the worry, but I had to tell her before, otherwise she would have flown over and killed me if I left it until after.
Sliding off my bed, I kick my shoes off, placing them under the seat next to my bed. I peel off my leggings, throwing them on the chair and shrugging out of Harry’s top that I’ve been wearing. I hold the gown up in front of me and look at it in disgust. God they are ugly gowns.
As I’m removing my bra and sliding the gown onto my arms, the curtains open a crack and I jump in fright, doing my best to cover myself up. “Only me” Harry murmurs, quietly, and I chuckle, turning my back to him and lifting up my hair. “Can you tie me up so I’m not flashing my bum to the whole hospital” I joke. He doesn’t smirk, or laugh or anything. He’s dead serious and I feel my mouth turn down in the corners. How can he be so sad? We have a way of saving Anne, he should be celebrating. I’m trying to be positive about this all, because the only other option is to start winding myself up about the operation.
I sigh, growing irritated with him as I walk away and jump into my bed, pulling the covers up to my waist and fiddling with the bed controls so I’m sitting up instead of lying flat. “Can’t you just be happy, Harry? You should be jumping for joy” I point out, I’m saving his mothers life, and he’s too busy sulking about it.
His head snaps up and he stares at me, “The last time I saw you in a hospital bed-” he doesn’t finish, just collapsing into the chair next to my bed and holding his head in his hands. The last time I was in a hospital bed, I was giving birth to our stillborn daughter. I suddenly feel so awful for being so hard on him, he’s been through so much, hospitals must provoke so many awful memories. We’ve been in here our fair share of times.
“C’mere” I sniff, patting the bed next to me and doing my best to suppress the memory, but I just have such a vivid mental picture in my head, of Harry sitting in the bed behind me, my back against his front, his arms around me, my fingers gripping his legs as I was forced to push.
Harry lifts himself out of the chair and sits on the edge of my bed, I pull him back so he’s leaning back beside me. I search his eyes, and all I can find is hurt and  fear, he’s scared for Anne, and now he’s scared for me as well. “M’sorry” he whispers, his face close to mine, our foreheads touching. “I know this isn’t easy, but think about what this means… Anne will live through this, she’ll get to meet Edgar and Frankie” I smile at the thought of my babies, Sav has been sending me pictures every time they do anything remotely cute.
“And someday, she’ll be able to meet her grandkids.” I say, seriously. Harry moves his face back to better study my face. “We don’t have to think about that right now” he frowns, as if he doesn’t like the idea of it. As if it leaves a sour taste in his mouth. He is simply afraid, I can see that.
“What you’re doing for mum… are you… are you sure about this?”
“Don’t be absurd Harry, I’m saving your mum’s life, there is not a single doubt in my mind that I am doing the right thing! How could you even ask me that?” I shake my head at him in disbelief. He wouldn’t hesitate to do the same thing if the situation were reversed.
“I’m sorry… my head is everywhere.” he apologises, and I press a kiss to his forehead, rubbing his shoulder, “Shhh, baby it’s okay, everything is going to be fine, you’ll see”
We lay in bed talking for twenty minutes or so, before the nurses finally come in the prep me for my surgery and take me up to the Operating Room. Anne won’t be too far behind, but they actually have to harvest the liver from me before they can start on her. Harry sits patiently in the chair beside the bed until its time to take me up. He walks the whole way with me, and we stop outside the doors where he has to stay behind.
He is an absolute mess, the wait is going to be agony for him, and I’m too worried about him to even think about my own nerves. This is just a routine procedure. Harry grabs my hand and holds it to the side of his face, I watch a tear escape his eye and run down his cheek, I feel the moisture on the back of my hand, imagining the salty taste of it. I need to be strong for him, show him that there is nothing to worry about.
“Everything’s going to be fine! Go grab some lunch with Gem and Robin and I’ll be back before you know it” I smile up at him, thinking how every girl should get a man who loves her even when she’s got an operating gown on and a giant hair net with zero makeup. “Thank you… for this, for everything. I love you.” he whispers, leaning down to kiss me, once, twice, three times.
“Love you more” I respond, as they start to wheel me away from him, “Impossible!” he calls out after me, and I smirk and shake my head at him. He waves slowly at me as I get further and further away, until I he disappears from sight.
Suddenly I am all alone, and it dawns on me what I am about to do. I hadn’t given it any thought until now, agreeing to this was a no brainer, of course I would give anything to save Anne, but the thought of being put under and being cut open does terrify me a little. I worry about the pain, but I don’t ask any questions as they push me through into the operating room, I move from my bed onto the operating table, and it is firm and cold beneath me.
I lie back and do my best to focus on my breathing, keeping it regular and calm. Clooney doctor appears over my head and I manage a nervous smile up at him. Hopefully he didn’t bring his intern in here with me, she might try to kill me to free up Harry.
“Feeling fine?” he asks me, and I nod, not quite managing to find any words right now. I just want all of this to be over. I want to be with my pups and hold my god-daughter and laugh with my friends and have hot sex with the love of my life. I just need to get through this and then I can get on with all of that.
“Alright, we’ll proceed. Blair, can you count back from ten for me please”
“Ten” I think about Gemma, her frantic call to me, where all of this began.
“Nine” The shock of finding out about Anne’s alcoholism.
“Eight” Watching Harry’s face falter as he see’s his mum, dying.
“Seven” Holding Harry in bed as he wept, blaming himself for this mess.
“Six” Talking with Anne all day, laughing, crying, reminiscing.
“Five” Finding out I was the only eligible donor, and not giving it a second thought before agreeing.
“Four” Finally telling Harry that I still want to have babies with him, sometime in the future.
“Three” Only minutes ago, Harry kissing me once, twice, three times.
“Two” I forget the rest, everything falls away as I feel myself slipping under.

Hair Transplant Surgery
There are different methods in this treatment that are performed depending on the case profile and the requirement. Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) and Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) are the main methods that differ in their procedure. A person who has bald patches, hair thinning, and receding hairlines can undergo a hair transplant if he is suffering from a hereditary based genetic hair loss problem. The person should undergo a proper diagnosis to confirm the eligibility for the treatment. It is good if all the conditions satisfy to obtain the surgery and get hair growth.
Hair Transplant Procedure And Effects
A person who wants a hair transplant needs to have donor hair on the scalp or anywhere on the body. Generally, the victims of pattern baldness contain healthy DHT Resistant hair follicles on the backside of the scalp which is taken as the donor area. The hair follicles from this area are picked out in the form of grafts and relocated in the recipient area where hair growth is required. The significance of the donor hair grafts is that they have to restore their ability to grow new strands at the new location in native texture. The migrated hair follicles require to establish their identity at the new place without being as foreign tissue. In case of unavailability of the donor tissue on the scalp, it can be selected from any other body part.
After Effects Of Hair Transplant
The hair transplant surgery could not damage any existing hair follicles both in the donor area and in the surroundings of the recipient area unless they have enough life span. It depends on the age of the patient and the ability to recover. Generally, hair growth takes two to three months after the surgery to establish new development of hair strands. The hair follicles left in the donor area remain active and do their own work. But if the patient faces Shock hair loss due to the physiological adjustment of the scalp, there may be temporary hair loss that can be overcome within a short period. The hair loss depends on the age of the hair follicles according to the personal genetic code. Choose a Hair Transplant Surgeon in Ahmedabad to clear your doubts on the surgery and after effects and go through a reliable treatment.  Avenues Cosmetic Surgery Center is the best clinic to get affordable treatment.

Tumblr media
I was never afraid to die. I've lived for two year's with the knowledge that my time on this earth is running out. Two years ago I was diagnosed with cancer, by that time I had two big tumors on my liver, it was bad, inoperable, and because it had also spread to the lymph nodes next to my liver, I was not eligible for a transplant. They gave me two years with extensive chemotherapy. Those two years where up two weeks ago.
These past two years has been tough, but I have had my best friend, Dean, by my side every step of the way. He came with me to chemo, he helped shave my head when my hair started to fall out and we have spent so much time just talking and being together. It might sound weird, but in some ways these past two years has been the best in my life. I've been lucky. I haven't been I'll from the treatment, sure I haven't had much energy, but I've been free to live my life like I wanted, except for the two days every other week when I've gotten treatment.
I know now that my time is up. My body is shutting down and I've been admitted to the hospital. For the past three months I have deteriorated and I was forced to move back home to my parents, they’ve been great and I love that I got to spend this time with them, but I haven't seen Dean since. We talk everyday, but it's not the same.
I've never been afraid to die. Death has not scared me. I'm scared now though. Scared that I won't get to see Dean again.
Dean's POV.
It's been a day since the last time she responded to any of my texts. I know that she is in hospital and I know she doesn't have long. It kills me that I’m not there with her. I can't just sit around and wait anymore I have to do something, i have to know how she’s doing.
I find her dad’s number and I call him.
“Hello?”
“Hi, Mr (YLN), it's Dean Winchester calling.”
“Hey, Dean. You calling to check up on (YN)?”
“Yes. How is she?”
Your dad filled me in a little, your body is shutting down, you don't have long. He's talking days. He asks me if I want to talk to you, and of course I do. We arrange for a skype call in an hour and we hang up.
It is by far the longest hour of my life and when the call finally comes in, my heart stops.
“Hey, beautiful,” I say as soon as I can see you. You don't look like you anymore. Your cheeks are hollowed and you have dark circles around your eyes, eyes that used to hold so much life. Your face lights up when you see me, and I have a hard time holding back my tears, but I need to be strong for you.
“Hi, Dean.” Your voice is so weak. “I've missed you.”
“I've missed you too, sweetheart.” I have. “How are you doing?” I want to punch myself for asking. I've known you for years now and I have ever had any trouble talking to you. Somehow I can't seem to find any words now.
“I've been better.” You smile, and I can see that you’re still in there somewhere. “They have some pretty good drugs in this hospital. I'm high as fuck.” You whisper that last part, a giggle following.
“Are you in any pain?”
“Yeah. The drugs help though.” Your face falls and I can see the fear in your eyes. “I'm scared.”
“I know, sweetheart.” I can feel the lump growing in my throat, and I try to swallow it. I want to be strong for you.
“I thought I had prepared for this, but I'm not prepared, Dean. I can't believe that we’re never gonna just hang out again, make fun of stupid movies, drink beer all night and talk about our bad dates. I'm not scared of dying, Dean. I'm scared of leaving you. I don't want to leave you. It's not fair.” Your lower lip is trembling and I can see that you’re fighting hard not to let the tears fall. You are braver than me, you always have been.
“I know. I know it's not fair.”
“I need you to know that I love you. You are my best friend and I couldn't have gotten through these past two years without you.”
“I love you too. And yes you could have, but I'm glad I got to be there with you,” I say, no longer able to keep my tears at bay, this feels like goodbye.
Your eyes starts to scan the room you are in and I hear a few muffled voices. “I have to go. They’re gonna run some more tests. Love you.”
“Love you too, beautiful.”
You always end our conversations with ‘talk to you later’, but not now. The reality of the situation kicks in and I pull out my phone and I call Sam.
He insist on coming with me to see you, telling me I'm in no state to drive the eight hours it will take me to get to you. He's probably right. I just know I have to see you, I can't let a skype call be the last time I speak to you. I have to hold you in my arms one last time. I shoot you a quick text telling you that I am on my way and that I will see you in the morning.
**
The drive was excruciatingly long, but we were here, outside of your room waiting for the nurse to see if you were up for visitors. She tells us that two visitors might be too much, but Sam insists he's just gonna say hi and then he will go.
Your face lights up as we walk in. “I didn't know you guy's were coming,” you smile, you obviously didn't read my text, not that it matters. Sam leans in to kiss your cheek. “Did you get taller?” you ask with one of those teasing smiles of yours.
Sam chuckles. “I just wanted to say ‘hi’.”
Five minutes pass and Sam leaves.  You and me spend the entire day talking, laughing, only interrupted by your mom, but she didn't stay long once she saw that you had company.  A few more hours go by before the nurse comes back to let us know that we have to wrap things up. She tells me that I can come back in the morning, but only immediate family is allowed to stay the night.
“Can you come sit with me?” you ask, trying to scooch over to make room for me, but your body isn't strong enough. I help, but I can see the pain flashing over your face as I gently lift you. I slide in next to you and wrap my arm around your shoulders, letting you rest your head on mine.
“I can't lose you (YN),” I say. I can hear how broken I sound and I hate that I can't stay strong for you anymore.
“I know.” You reach your hand up to lace your fingers with mine. “I can feel that I don't have long left. I promised you so many times that I would stay by your side forever, that I would always have your back, but my always is over, Dean, I can feel it ending.”
“How am I supposed to say goodbye to you?”
“Can you promise me something?”
“Anything.”
“Promise me that you'll let someone help you through this, that you don't shut yourself in and try to deal with this on your own, because you don't have to.” You turn your head so that your eyes can meet mine, your beautiful eyes, glossed over with tears. “I want you to go out and find a girl that you love, someone who you want to marry and one day start a family with. I want you to find someone that makes you happy and who loves you back for the amazing man that you are. Find someone who deserves that beautiful heart of yours, Winchester. And when you do have that white picket fence that I know you want, with a couple of beautiful babies running around, I want you to tell them all about their awesome ‘aunt’ (YN) and how much she loves them and how proud she is of them. Promise me!”
I can't do this, I can't say goodbye, I can't imagine living my life without you in it. I just can't.
“I promise,” I say through tears, my voice thick with grief.
We stay like that  until the nurse comes back and tells me I have to leave. You have fallen asleep on my shoulder and  it takes every single ounce of strength that I have to walk out of that room. I know your parents are waiting for me to leave so they can be with you. I promise to come back tomorrow and I kiss your forehead.
**
Sam and I  sit in silence in the dingy motel room, there is no way in hell that I'm gonna be able to sleep tonight. I want to dive into a bottle of whiskey, but I have promised you I won't do that, besides, I don't want to be hung over when I see you tomorrow. Sam doesn't sleep either. I think he wants to be awake in case I feel the need to talk or something.
It's just past two am when my phone beeps with a text. It feels as though I can't breathe. I'm surprised when I see that it's from you, a response to the text I sent you before I left Kansas last night.
You don't have to come here. I know it's a long drive and it's winter. Not that I don't want to see you, but I don't want you out and driving in this weather, especially at night. Just stay home and stay safe, okay? Love you.
I don't understand this, did you send this yesterday and I'm just now getting it? Or did you send it now and you simply doesn't remember that I was there? I know there is a lot of drugs in your system, and that it was a little hard to keep up with you some of the time, but I didn't think it was that bad. I'll ask you tomorrow.
***
At some point during the night I have drifted off. I rub the sleep from my eyes as I reach for the phone that woke me up. Now that I see your father's number on my screen I know what it is. I know that you are gone. There is no other reason for him to call this early. I don't want to answer, I can't.
Sam looks at me with compassion as he takes the phone from my hand and answers it. “Dean's phone, this is Sam speaking… Yeah, he can't come to the phone right now, can I give him a message? I will tell him.. I'm so sorry for your loss Mr. (YLN).”  He hangs up, but he doesn't have to tell me, I know, I knew before he even answered the phone. “Dean…” he tries, but I don't want to hear it.
“There is nothing you can say right now, Sam, so just drop it.” My voice is cold and detached. I had thought I would cry, but I don't. I had thought I would be angry, but I'm not.
In a way we had a great day yesterday, you and I, even if you didn't remember.
**
Sam and I stick around for a few days so that we get to be a part of your funeral. It was a beautiful service and so many people had great things to say about you, which didn't surprise me at all.
Just before we leave your mom corners me to give me a letter. She tells me you wrote this the day before you went to the hospital and you had told her how important it was that I got this. She thanks me for everything I have done for you, making it possible for you to live in your own home for as long as you did. I shrug and tell her it was all my pleasure. I did what I had to to keep you close to me for as long as I could.
About half way home I can't take it anymore, I have to know what's in the letter.
Dean.
Today is my last day at home. My mom told me that I could stay here to the end, that we could arrange for the nurses and the doctors to come here to check up on me, but I don't want to die here. I don't want them to have a room in their house where their daughter died. I can see how much they are hurting even if they try to stay strong for me.
The letter goes on to describe some memories that you held close to your heart. Some ‘thank you’s’ for my friendship and some joke about a parrot that was on the TV as you wrote the letter.
I wanted to say something sweet and inspirational, but with all the morphine in my brain I can't think of anything good, so I'm gonna quote a very wise man instead. “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.” - Christopher Robin.
I know, I know, it's cheating, but cut me some slack will you? It's true. You, Dean Winchester, are the best man I have ever known. And you know there is no way I'm leaving you right? I'm gonna haunt your ass.
I can't help the smile that forms on my lips. Somehow this letter was exactly what I imagined it would be.
“Hey, Sammy? Who’s Christopher Robin?” I ask, my brother a little confused by my smile, or maybe it is the question.
“Come on man, You don't know who Christopher Robin is?” I shake my head. “It's the boy in Winnie the Pooh. Why do you  ask?”
I can't help but laugh. And I can't help but feel like that was your intention all along.
Sam smiles, a little unsure of what is happening, “What's so funny?”
“(YN). She wanted to tell me something comforting and she couldn't come up with anything herself so she quoted Winnie the Pooh.”
“It sounds like her,” Sam agrees.
I know it's just been a week since you died, but I've been grieving you for two year's now, and I saw the pain you were in. There is never gonna be a day where I won't miss you, but knowing that you’re not in pain anymore, and knowing that you stayed true to yourself until the end gives me comfort.

How to Become a Hair Transplant Surgeon
A hair transplant surgeon specializes in diagnosing and treating problems related to hair loss. The training of a hair transplant surgeon helps him or her to be an expert in this field. Along with training, a high degree of technical and artistic skill is needed to perform hair treatment surgeries.
Read the following steps to go through the process.
1. Develop an Interest to Become Surgeon
Find and meet experienced hair transplant surgeons who have been working in the field for quite some time. Their experience will guide you with more details on the subject. Taking the help of a knowledgeable surgeon will help you decide whether to become a hair transplant surgeon.
2. Enter the Medical Field
With many people taking interest in hair treatment surgery as a career, you need to clear high school with a medical diploma in hand. The medical diploma will let you learn on subjects of biology, chemistry and physics. The subjects will help prepare for any pre-requisite medical exam like PMET, MCATS, and etc. to enter a medical college. High score or good grades are required in these exams because of heavy competition always present between aspirants wanting to become a doctor or physician.
Entering medical college the undergraduate undergoes 4 to 5 years of following training and testing (theoretically-practically) period so to earn a degree of MBBS, BAMS, etc.;
Understands the fundamental subjects of Anatomy, Physiology, Histology, Bio-chemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, professionalism and medical ethics taught in early college years. Conducts medical histories of patients and physically examines and diagnoses their diseases through study of medicine. Works in clinical rotations under the supervision of doctors to manage patients. Studies surgery, pediatrics, internal medicine, psychiatry, gynecology and obstetrics. Other Things Learned in Medical College Gains clinical and community work experience. Deals with issues like health, disease, population, etc. Communication skills Gets more involved in prevention and care. Makes innovation in health care and sciences with the help of technology. Does research on affairs related to medical field. Specialty and Residency Based on the personal interests, clinical experiences and other factors considered the undergraduate chooses his/her specialty e.g. Anesthesiology, Pediatrics, Neurology, etc. to become a specialist and not just remain as a doctor on completing the graduate degree. Opting specialty, its experience is gained through applying in a residency program (internship). The residency program positions are available in your own passed out college or have to search elsewhere colleges/hospitals. The program period is of 2 years or more (as per specialty chosen) where the doctor gains experience by working alongside other health practitioners, getting exposed to different communities, patients and cases over the subject opted and gets paid too. Once all education and training is completed, doctors receive certification on their chosen field to be finally known as a MD (doctor of medicine) or DO (osteopathic physician). Post board certifications, MD or DO doctors apply for medical license (available from state level boards who issue medical license) to work with authority in their respected field. 3. Hair Transplant Surgeon Qualification (Training) Eligibility
Any licensed physician can become a hair transplant surgeon. Because a physician is able to diagnose the whole body in a surgery rather than just considering the head. So it is easy for a physician to study this subject. With good understanding of medical knowledge physicians need to gain enhanced surgical knowledge for better understanding on performing a surgery. Apply to a hair transplant college or institute or join fellowship which guides with good coverage on transplant training.
Training Overview
In training the physician undergoes a series of programs that help learn following aspects of hair transplantation procedures and methods;
