'The media frenzy surrounding Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan’s latest three-hour epic, has yielded many gems: endlessly dissectable interviews, plenty of big brooding fits, and a smattering of anti-internet meme fodder. As far as I'm concerned, though, the press tour's most tantalizing gift was the chance to gaze upon star Cillian Murphy's architectural cheekbones. During a recent London photocall, as Murphy posed leisurely in a cardigan and Sunspel tee, his impeccably-defined cheeks glowed with even more of a sunkissed smolder than usual. The red-hot images left me with a single searing question: “ID on the bronzer, bro?”
Thankfully, Gareth Bromell, the celebrity groomer who prepped Murphy’s hair and makeup on the Oppenheimer press tour, was more than happy to let me in on the secret to his client's healthy glow: Tom Ford powder, in a matte shade of Terra, applied with a soft Chanel powder brush. “The powder doesn't have any glitter or shimmer, or anything like that, which I think is very important for male clients,” Bromell explains. “You want them to look sunkissed but you don't want them to look like they're wearing makeup.”
All men could benefit from a touch of bronzer before a big night out, Bromell says, but "especially gentlemen from, let’s just say the UK and Ireland, who are a little bit paler than others. They’re not exposed to the sun as much.” Cork native Murphy, perhaps the most Irish of all Irish actors, certainly qualifies there.
To get the radiant red-carpet look, Bromell advises targeting the exaggerated points of your face where the sun would naturally shine, like the tips of the cheekbones. “Then, I work it into the left and right of the forehead, the points that are a bit more raised on the face shape, and the center of the nose, a bit on the chin, the ears, and a little on the neck—but a very light dusting.”
Prepping your skin before the bronzer, however, is just as critical for looking your dewiest self. “Especially in men's grooming,” Bromell says, “the skin tends to look a little drier and oiler than with women.” When grooming Murphy, he begins with a cooling cleanser and toner from UK-based brand Haeckels, follows up with a pair of hyaluronic acid and vitamin C serums, and then allows those to soak into the skin with an LED mask for about 5-10 minutes. “That brings up the pigmentation in the skin for a healthier glow.”
Another of one of Bromell's tricks for giving Cillian a rosier complexion? A clickable self-tanner from UK brand James Reed that's “very popular on the male grooming circuit.” After applying a 111Skin face and eye mask to seal in moisture, he mixes two clicks of the Click & Glow pen with some moisturizer, then works the tanner all over Cillian's face. “I apply that into the skin and that develops over an hour and it’s very, very natural and adds a really beautiful glow to the skin.”
The clickable pen helps you control how much you use, Bromell says, and mixing it with a moisturizer or sunscreen dilutes the pigment. “When I use it for myself, it just looks like I’ve been in the sun for a day. It lasts a couple days and fades naturally. I always say less is more and you can always build it up if you don’t feel tan enough.”
Just be wary of getting too close to your hairline as it can stain that area, and be sure to use some cleanser to wipe some off if you get a little heavy-handed with it.
You might not have Cillian Murphy's sculpted cheekbones—or if you do, my DMs are open—but a little bronzer and a tan-in-a-pen will still go a long way towards making you look and feel like a red-carpet-ready star whenever you hit the town.'

ABOUT LENNON | I can’t be everything to everyone, but I’ll kill myself trying and I’m not scared of dying.
CHARACTER BASICS
NAME: Lennon Burke
AGE: Thirty-Two
GENDER & PRONOUNS: Cis man, He/Him
FACE CLAIM: Barry Keoghan
EYE COLOR: Blue
HAIR COLOR: Black
HEIGHT: 5′8″
DATE OF BIRTH: September 9th
ZODIAC SIGN: Virgo
LEVEL OF EDUCATION: High School Diploma
RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION: N/A
OCCUPATION: Owner of Crescent Moon Ink
HOMETOWN: Kilkenny, Ireland
CHARACTER HISTORY [TRIGGER WARNING FOR DRUG ABUSE, ADDICTION, OVERDOSE]
The only way to convince twelve year old Lennon to get on the plane and leave Ireland until he turned eighteen was the promise that he’d never see his brothers again if he dared to run off. He did, though, only to have his older brother pull him by the collar of his shirt kicking and screaming on to the platform. He should have known then that this was far from the climax of trouble they would face in their mother’s desperate attempt to rewrite the limited chapters she had left in her life.
When Lennon turned fourteen, his mother was deported and the boys were forced to stay due to their dual citizenship and the lack of funds their mother had to even bring them over. Lennon didn’t think much of going into foster care as they seemed to have better chances in the system rather than with her. However, Lennon has always been more comfortable in chaos and the lull of someone finally doing right by them was quickly destroyed by his own hands. Him and his brothers were separated in the system, each going down their own poor path and eventually only reuniting over a morgue table to identify their eldest brother.
Lennon and his two younger brothers ended up on the streets and in retaliation for the person who sold his older brother the drug that took his life, he did more than just slink around dark corners. Lennon learned the game to find those spiking drugs. The Burke boys took the supply and reported it to the authorities, but they were far from upstanding citizens.
Making a deal with the cop that handled the case, Lennon and his brothers were able to avoid CPS as long as he helped the man snag other dealers. He worked as a rat while also using the open slots of those he burned to create his own business. He ended up getting a lot of connections in the city and the opportunity to adopt his brothers out of the system with the proper resources to get them in his custody.
PRESENT DAY [TRIGGER WARNING FOR DRUG ABUSE, ADDICTION]
The only issue was that that Lennon had the resources he never had before, and was s caught between wanting to be a savior and also fending for himself as he always had. His brothers found their struggle with addiction and he paid for their rehabilitation just as much as he paid for the clean supply when they got out and fell off the wagon. To this day, he has a paid set of eyes on his younger brother who still remains in a rehab facility, while the other is somewhere in the city only ever appearing when he needs help.
About five years ago, he took himself out of the game to try and settle with all of the money he was able to make and set aside. It hasn’t taken much for Lennon to try and fix his mistakes by also taking care of those he knows have dabbled in drug use, despite knowing he was the root of the problem by making their dangerous fix accessible. He wants to help but how do you help when all you’ve ever known is how to destroy? Working now to keep himself busy, he’s trying to make something of himself using the tricks he learned along the way for something more sustainable to make a future he can share with his brothers.
HEADCANONS
Lennon uses box dye on his hair but never toner, someone please help him.
He has a multitude of shitty tattoos including a small x under his eye near his cheekbone.
He is currently having an affair with the wife of the cop that he worked with, as she is involved with drugs secretly. He is a mess.
10/10 will gslight, gatekeep, girlboss.
WANTED CONNECTIONS
The good ol’ classic hook up, whether it be something consistent or a one night stand
Childhood friends that grew apart
Childhood enemies
Exes
People he’s met in the system
The woman he’s having an affair with ahahahaha
Someone he pays to keep an eye on his younger brothers

colour part one + two
seminar five - two videos
the world of colour in art and design. there is a difference between us seeing colour when looking on our phones/computers as it is very illuminated to it being printed out caused by many different factors. from the toner being turned down, your printer may be running out of ink to the calibration between the two pieces of equipment. the naked eye reads colour very differently, from the way it catches the light, to how you clean your brush, and the smell/pigment of the paint, there are so many personal attributes.
silvia went through different images of test cards. they were cards that were held in front of the television camera and used for calibration, and alignment in the matching of the cameras dated from the late nineteen nineties. they contain a set of patterns that enable the tv camera and the receiver to show the picture correctly. they were broadcasted during sign-on and sign-off.
the pantone matching colourised system that over ten million designers use around the world to communicate color and to control consistency. different manufacturers in different locations can refer back to see if colours match. they use the cmyk process for printing using four inks cyan, magenta, yellow and black. silvia told us that they pick a colour for every year and for 2020 it was pms19-4052. the colour for 2022 is pms17-3938. i love how they pick a different color for every year, its cool to see their reason for picking the colour.
more examples of loving care performance of mopping black hair die on the floor of a gallery with the head, the london underground railways on the use of colour, lines and font to make it easier to understand.
colors and fonts on signage from the nineteen eighties are different from those nowadays. two british graphic designers designed motorway signage in the uk which lead to our development of road signage. they asked themselves 'what do i want to know when im trying to read a sign at speed?' making it easy to read by the font and visible at night.
post boxes in ireland used to be red but in eighteen twenty-two the irish government ordered for them all to be painted green. four post boxes in twenty-twenty were painted black for black history month in the uk. colour is about marking your territory, your identity, and your symbolic value.

Hair Extensions - human hair vs synthetic - my experiences and preferences!
Hair extensions can be Human Hair or synthetic,
clip in (my favourite on the go option for when you haven't got much time) or bonded.
Human Hair -
Generally more expensive, without the shedding and tangling of synthetic hair.
Can be dyed or toned (see prior article covering this) to colour match your own hair, for a natural look.
Human hair extension examples -
Celie Hair clip in ( toned by me using Jerome Russell bblonde platinum toner)
Human hair pictured below both by celie hair, photo 1 was toned using bblonde toner
Synthetic hair
Synthetic hair can be very high quality and realistic , an excellent everyday workhorse! Great to add length and volume to sparse or damaged hair.
Synthetic hair hair extension examples-
1.Sensationnel Hair syntheric clip in in honey blonde (pre coloured)
2.MsCoco hair synthetic clip in weave in platinum blonde (pre coloured)
3. Hairspray Ireland clip- in ponytails
Synthetic clip in pictured - Sensationnel Hair honey blonde (pre coloured)

Oriflame wants to be Prom Queen at the MLM Ball, and they just might win the crown…if they can knock out a few serious contenders on their way to the top.
Their vision is to become the #1 beauty direct sales company in the world, and they’re only a few slots off. However, some of the beauty queens ahead of them (Avon, with over $6 billion in annual revenue, and Mary Kay, with almost $4 billion) don’t take kindly to competition.
Should you get involved in Oriflame?
Keep reading to find out.
FAQ
1. What does Oriflame sell? Oriflame sells skin care products, cosmetics, fragrances, personal and hair care, accessories, and wellness products.
2. What are Oriflame’s most popular products? Some of Oriflame’s popular products are their Royal Velvet Night Cream for skin over 40; the ONE IlluSkin Face Primer, a tone-enhancing face primer that evens the skin tone and extends the wear of your foundation; the diamond Cellular Micellar Solution Cleanser, an all-in-one cleanser, toner, and makeup remover made with Micellar technology; and NovAge, scientifically advanced skin care designed to correct and slow the signs of aging.
3. How much does it cost to join Oriflame? You can join for free, but it’s recommended that you buy a start-up case for 20 Euros. (While they have a U.K./U.S. catalog, they don’t recruit distributors in the U.S. Good luck if you’d like to build a business state-side.)
4. Is Oriflame a scam? No, Oriflame is a publicly traded company that’s well-respected for their quality products.
5. What is Oriflame’s BBB rating? A+
6. How long has Oriflame been in business? Since 1967

9. What lawsuits have been filed? In 2018, Oriflame was slapped for illegally using Fifa World Cup imagery. [1] Also in 2018, Vietnam penalized Oriflame for MLM violations. [2] In 2014, Russia searched Oriflame’s Moscow offices and seized documents related to unpaid taxes amounting to $84 million from 2006 to 2010. Oriflame protested that their tax practices were in accordance with local and international legislation. [3]
10. Comparable companies: Mary Kay, NuSkin
While they offer some great products, the income opportunity offered by Oriflame isn’t nearly as impressive.

Either way, here’s the full review on Oriflame.
Overview
Oriflame is a Swedish cosmetics MLM founded in 1967 by brothers Jonas Jochnick and Robert Jochnick. They have been a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ since 2004.
Since launching 50 years ago, they’ve expanded to operate in over 60 countries around the globe, and they now have a Salesforce of 3 million independent consultants.
They’re currently doing over $1.5 billion in annual sales, making them one of the few members of the coveted MLM Billion Club (those that have hit $1 billion in annual sales). There were only 20 MLMs to do this in 2016. [4]
Their corporate offices are now located in Luxemburg and Switzerland, and they have global production centers in Sweden, Poland, China, Russia, and Ireland.
Oriflame has expanded to sell its products in almost every corner of the globe…except the United States, interestingly.
They sell all over Europe, in Asia, Latin America, Africa…but nowhere north of Mexico. You can still order Oriflame products from their UK website and have them shipped to the U.S. (with international shipping costs), but they don’t have any consultants reppin’ the red, white, & blue (the bald eagle-lovin’, burger eatin’ red white and blue, not the baguette and stinky cheese one).
How much does Oriflame cost?
It is free to become an Oriflame consultant. Yep, 100% free. You do need to purchase a catalog so you can show off your products to potential customers, but the catalogs cost something like $.35 cents.
If you don’t make any sales for 12 months, you will lose your Consultant title and have to sign up again if you want to continue selling. If you don’t sell anything for a year, you should probably just throw in the towel anyway.
Products
The Oriflame catalog consists of over 1,000 Swedish beauty products that are naturally-inspired and vegan.
They have a Skin Research Institute where new, innovative products are created. They’re then sent to the company’s global research and development center where they employ over 100 scientists to test and perfect new products.
Products are all naturally-based and vegan. They include makeup, fragrance, skincare, bath and body, hair, accessories, and men’s products.
Here are some top sellers:
White Original Eau de Parfum: £30
5-in-1 Color Stylist Lipstick: £10
5-in-1 Wonder Lash Mascara: £9
Eleo Hair Mask: £7.95
Age Revive Anti-Aging Cream: £5.95 (sale)
Blackhead Clearing Mask: £7
As you can see, very reasonably priced. Anti-aging cream for £5.95? There are some MLMs that sell that stuff for triple-digits. Whether or not it actually works is another question – you get what you pay for.
Benefits
Benefits associated with their skincare products have not been proven, but claims include:
Anti-aging
Minimize wrinkles
Moisturize
Fight blackheads
Prevent acne
Clear blemishes
Side Effects
There are no known side effects associated with Oriflame products.
Compensation Plan
Commission on personal sales is made via retail commission, which is the price difference between your discounted price as a consultant and the product’s actual retail value.
If you purchase less than £130 worth of product at a time, you get a 20% discount. If you purchase over £130 worth of product at a time, you get a 30% discount.
So that’s an added 10% in commission, which is pretty significant. Therefore, you really want to be making orders of £130 or more at a time. Parties are the best way to do this (eyeroll at in-home parties), because if you’re selling to one friend at a time you probably won’t hit that mark. You might end up ordering extra product to get 30% commission and hoping to sell it only to be left with a basement full of unused skin cream.
There’s also a delivery charge of £4.50 per order.
The rest of the comp plan is pretty typical MLM…levels, bonuses, and rank advancements galore.
If you can build a team of at least 5 members with 4 direct recruits and total monthly sales that hit 1000 BP (about £1,300), you become a group manager and start making money off your team. You get 9% commission on all of your direct consultants, an extra 5% commission on all of your personal sales, and 6% commission off any of your direct promoted Group Managers.
After that, you become a Senior Group Manager and start earning on indirect consultants in your downline too (5%). As a District Manager, 4.5% bonus is tacked onto all your commission rates on both personal sales and the sales of members in your downline.
This continues on and on to Executive Director rank, where you can really get rich off this scheme. Of course, that ranking includes only a handful of the company’s millions of consultants.
Recap
There’s almost no barrier to entry. It’s free to join.
So, if you really like their products, it’s a great way to get a good discount. Who knows, maybe you’ll even make a few bucks selling eye cream and mascara to your gal pals or coworkers.
What you’re not going to get, though, is rich. That’s just the way MLM is set up – a select few make it to the top of the pyramid and leech off everyone below them.
This company has been around long enough to already have plenty of top consultants, meaning there’s not much room for you to make your way up there.
I’ve been involved with network marketing for almost ten years so I know what to look for when you consider a new opportunity.
