Tenoch Huerta the man YOU ARE !! anyhow yes I will write about Namor, but since I don't have any ideas for him yet, accept a headcanons if Namor fell in love with a Mutant!Readers that live near the beach (I'm thinking the beaches near Asia and Hawaii maybe) Enjoy Frog anon! <3
disc; this doesn't fit into any major MCU timeline but i like to think at some point Namor has grown attached to this mutant and has since become his bf (Before/after Wakanda Forever, up to you <3), Reader's ethnicity is not mentioned!
DEEP DIVE
NAMOR x MUTANT!M!READER
Tags: Namor x m!reader, mutant!reader, he/him pronouns for reader, nsfw, fluff and smut, headcanons, reader loves animals, (not me projecting) but reader has a pet shark, Namora mentioned, Talokan mentioned
You are Namor's mutant bf! Your abilities are being able to process oxygen in the water and to talk to aquatic mammals!
—
You have a shark friend named 'Lemon' that you usually swim with
Namor thinks Lemon doesn't like him but you know the shark is just looking out for you
You teach him tricks and give Lemons snacks while Namor watches
Lemon likes to tease Namor when he sees him looking at you with heart eyes
You've introduced modern technologies to him (Phones, internet, earbuds, etc.)
He likes listening to your music with the earphones on, says it's one of the only 'Human' things he likes
Definitely dances underwater with you when you bring your waterproof earbuds
Namor brings gifts at every meeting
You've collected over a dozen shell necklaces and bracelets, some with gems you've never seen before
you've spent days swimming around the ocean with Namor, taking weeks off your vacation days just to be with him
He loves the look of your hair underwater
you sign when you're talking with Namor underwater since you can't let out the oxygen in your lung
Namor holds you with the utmost care, despite assuring him you've done extensive training as a mutant, he's still hesitant to bring you into Talokan without a suit.
"Mi amor, I can't risk taking you there without you getting hurt," He says one night as you both hold each other on a rock, tides splashing below your feet.
Talokan kids LOVES you. You play with them when you visit and they always surround you with so many questions about 'the world above'
You answer as you need, knowing Namor wouldn't want them to venture outside because of the curiosity, for their safety
you definitely talk shit about humans with Namora
One time you wore nail polish when you visited and Namora wanted to try them so bad, so she came with Namor the next time he visited the beach.
She didn't like the feel of it but she does like the color. Definitely will try to replicate it to withstand the deep Talokan darkness.
You've traveled a lot of distance underwater when you're on Namors back, visiting countries you've never imagined going to.
Namor loves the way your eyes shine when you visit a place you've always wanted to go, even if he could only look from the beaches to stay hidden.
He says humans wear "too much fabric," and their clothes are hindering their movements
You laughed, thinking about how he'd look in a three-piece suit, definitely annoyed with the collar and cuffs
You once wore a hoodie to the beach because it felt a little too cold to your liking and he short-circuited
"I take back what I said about the clothes, or this one.. At least,"
Genuinely thought it looked so cute on you he couldn't get it out of his head for weeks
He once called two orcas just because you said you wanted to see them up close
Summoned a lot of other sea creatures just because you wanted to see them
Has been on a humpback whale for the fun of it
Namor loves seeing you play with the animals, and talk to the mammals because you have the same fascinated shine in your eyes as he first saw you
Definitely brings you food items from underneath just so you two can have dinner
one of the only things he likes about the surface is the food, and you gladly cook them if it means a romantic dinner with Namor
Spending time cuddling by the shore every night
NSFW HC's!
Loves leaving marks on your skin, as he does too
He'd take you slowly, with care and caution it made your head spin from arousal
It took you months to convince him you can take harder, rougher, until he finally let go his restraints and saw stars
definitely holds your hand through it
pull his hair, hard, and he'll let out the loudest moan
leaves scratches and bite marks
aftercare ALL THE WAY
okay maybe he's just used to the cuddling and kisses after but he's not used to you bringing a thermos with warm water and a washcloth to clean him and that kills him.
Loves subtle touches; rub his arms, hands entwined, neck kisses, you name it.
When you top he goes crazy when you're deep inside him and you press just enough on the spot below his belly, he once came from that alone
tries not to curse, fails
Y'ALL HAVE UNDERWATER SEX IF YOU CAN'T FIND A SECLUDED SPOT ON THE BEACH
Requests are open <3

Historical Hetalia Week Day Three: Discovery
Day Three: 0 - 1500 // Discovery @historical-hetalia-week
When I saw the prompt for this day, my first thought was the age of discovery and Europeans conquering (duh)- but my second thought was to flip this on its head. When Europeans 'discovered' new lands and people, those people had to 'discover' the Europeans at the same time. You could arguably say they did a better job, considering indigenous cultures tended not to view themselves as superior to European cultures and so approached their ways of life with respect and curiosity- which was very often not true to other way around. So, I decided to show this through three characters (Fiji, Hawaii, and Tangata Whenua- who is explained in my day one post) entering a (mostly) European hall, dressed in relation to the year their tribes formed a kingdom- which could be seen as the 'ultimate' attempt to be viewed as European equals.
More explanation under the cut!
So let's start in the middle, where the story is shortest (and where my vision was most certain): Hawaii. I'd like to preface this by first of all saying that I am very much of the opinion that a personification of Hawaii existed prior to Hawaii becoming a US state- and that the representation of the state is the same who represented Hawaii previously. This is for a variety of reasons:
Unlike, say, Germany, Hawaii didn't become united by all the Hawaiian tribes agreeing to join hands and work together. Kamehameha the Great took control of the islands through a series of conquests for the sake of uniting the Hawaiian islands. Only one willingly joined under his banner- but very much in the sense that they joined under his banner, and not as an equal. So, these personifications likely were subordinates to the Kingdom of Hawaii, should they have stuck around at all. Additionally, as the Hawaiian identity began to emerge, and people associated more with the kingdom than their original tribes, I believe it makes sense that these remaining personifications would have faded, while Hawaii stuck around.
When the US annexed Hawaii, they replaced its government and absorbed the existing Hawaiian nation into the overarching USA. Because of this, it makes most sense to me that Hawaii became a subordinate of America, as opposed to being replaced by a new personification. However, I can understand the logic behind that thought.
And probably others that I'm blanking on right now
However, that's a future problem! For now, we have a Hawaii as a newly established kingdom- from about 1810, which is the generally agreed upon year for when the monarchial government of Hawaii was established. However (as will be the case for all 3 of these characters), she very much is not an expert on European culture. Though she does a lot better than her two companions in this illustration, due to Hawaii being a very prominent trading spot to Europeans (though this hasn't reached its height yet)- something King Kamehameha the Great pushed hard for. Her hair is quite close to the fashionable style of the day, though her bangs are quite a bit longer than what was preferred. Her dress is based off of these French Regency dresses (taken from James Laver's 'World of Art: Costume and Fashion'):
Particularly from the left drawing- which actually depict dresses from 1803- and which are summer walking dresses. Likely not the right style for this sort of event. So while Hawaii has tried her hardest to dress for the occasion, she's lacks understanding regarding the more intricate details and rules of European styles. This isn't meant to make her look misguided or stupid- I imagine that the traders stopping by on Hawaiian shores are more into selling goods than talking extensively about fashion. And whoever sold her this dress likely... twisted the truth a little.
The purple is a remnant of an old style of dress I was going to draw her in (from Panorama's 'A History of Fashion: From Loincloths to Lycra', by Jacqueline Morley, David Salariya, etc):
However, I figured dresses that are, quite literally, the height of fashion at the time (and undoubtedly being custom ordered by the wealthy wearing them) aren't likely to yet making it as far as Hawaii. However, I admit that the purple probably isn't the most accurate colour for her dress to be, still.
Now, for Tangata Whenua!
While a more extensive explanation of who she is has already been given in my Day One post, I'll give a brief summary here:
My personal perspective on New Zealand's personification differs quite a bit from canon's, and so I use an OC in place of the canon character. (This character is not Tangata Whenua.) While considering when New Zealand would have originated, where she stands on things such as Māori-Pākehā relations, I came up with the concept of Tangata Whenua. She represents the Māori culture/te Ao Māori, and has been around since roughly when the first Polynesians arrived in what is now Aotearoa New Zealand. While in modern times she likely goes by the name Aotearoa, at this point that has not really caught on in reference to all of New Zealand. The Kīngitanag (Māori King Movement) established its first monarch in 1858, while Pākehā began to use Aotearoa as the Māori name for New Zealand in the late 1800s, while Māori did not adopt it until likely the 1900s (perhaps even the late 1900s), though I cannot find a clear answer for this. For some time, Māori only used it to refer to the North Island. Tangata Whenua means 'people of the land', and is a culturally significant term in Māori- I cannot think of a way to quickly summarise this significance, so just trust me.
**Pākehā is a Māori word initially (and most commonly) used to describe European NZers. Sometimes in modern times it is used to refer to all non-Māori NZers.
So, while New Zealand adopted a monarchy when it became a colony of the British Empire in 1840, Tangata Whenua did not until the establishment of the Kīngitanga in 1858. However, it's important to note that the majority of Māori tribes never aligned themselves with the Kīngitanga, and it was never the prominent government in the New Zealand islands. However, it holds a very significant position when discussing the New Zealand Wars- especially in regards to North Island (where most of the wars took place).
As another additional note, I have realised while writing this that I forgot to discuss Tangata Whenua's extraordinarily long hair in my Day One post- I'll be adding that once I finish typing this up. However, let me also explain here:
In Māori culture, the head (and thus hair) is considered very tapu (sacred). Long hair often indicates high status. In fact, in traditional Māori culture, one's hair may only be attended to by one of more mana (generally refers to reputation/status/legacy- doesn't have a close English concept unfortunately, but for now think of it like rank or status). As the personification of the Māori culture, Tangata Whenua was probably viewed as quite an important atua (god, sometimes translated as spirit), meaning no mortal could have more mana than her. As a result, unless any other atua decide to stop by for a chat, there is no one who can style her hair, or cut it. (I imagine she still brushed it, at least because unkempt hair was a sign of mourning.)
After so long, Polynesians currently being believed to have landed in New Zealand sometime from 1250-1350, Tangata Whenua's hair must be ridiculously long. I believe I likely underestimate its true length, no matter how extraordinarily long I draw it. I am not yet decided on how she keeps it in modern times, however (considering Māori people no longer follow this tradition) she likely drops it at some point.
Now, regarding clothes. Given I have a book on fashionable New Zealand dress around this time period, it is what I have consulted. This book is 'Dressed: Fashionable Dress in Aotearoa New Zealand 1840 to 1910' by Claire Regnault. Specifically, I have referenced (for her bodice and skirt) this evening bodice and skirt once owned by a Margaret Watt from Whanganui:
This isn't what I'd consider, exactly, the fashionable look in the late 1850s- and that's why I think it's perfect for Tangata Whenua. In her case, she's likely a lot more familiar with Europeans in day-to-day life than Hawaii, and so has had more opportunities to get familiar with the rules of their fashion. I just don't see her as someone who would care much for those details. The Māori quite often worked European fashion/culture/etc into their existing ways of doing things- but very much in their own way. So Tangata Whenua is not (unlike Hawaii) trying to match European fashion, but using it as a suggestion. This is further emphasised by the kākahu cloak she has tied over her shoulders, and her hairstyle- where the front mimics fashionable ideas at the time, but she's mostly left the back alone, in a ponytail. (This already shows some deviations from the traditional handling of her hair.)
And now, Fiji! The Kingdom of Fiji lasted only three years, uniting the tribes in 1871, however it only took months for government overspending to lead the new kingdom to acquire unimaginable amounts of debt. This lead to social unrest, which prompted the Fijian government to reach out to the British with an offer to hand off the islands to them. By 1874, and agreement was met and the Kingdom of Fiji became the Colony of Fiji. As such, I've interpreted the representation of Fiji to be the most nonchalant regarding this whole monarchy thing. This is most immediately noticeable in the suit he wears:
As you can see, it dates to 1829- quite a while before the unification. I imagine, unlike with the other two, he did not put much effort into picking his outfit beyond 'European' and 'I like it'. Or perhaps this was the most recent European outfit he had, and rampant debt meant he was unable to update it. This is also why, unlike Hawaii and Tangata Whenua, he is not facing forwards. His attention has been drawn away by the walls.
Fijian hair traditions fascinate me, and are certainly something I would like to further explore. In short, Fijians also traditionally applied the concept of sanctity (tabu) to the hair, and in general longer hair meant higher status. However, this hair was never to touch the ground. Style it however you want (dying was also quite possible), but hair must never touch the ground. It lead to some quite interesting fashion trends. Fiji here would have historically had longer hair, but I imagine he took the arrival of European fashions an excuse to try a shorter, simpler style. Here are some examples I've found online:
From the Polynesian Cultural Center Blog
Regarding the background:
While in general this is meant to be a non-descript European hall (with the purple meaning to imply this is the hall of somewhere quite important- though again, I think I've been a bit too extravagant in my use of purple), the detailing on the rug's edge and the door is Polynesian-inspired.
The pattern on the rug's edge is inspired by the ahu ahu mataroa pattern, which can represent talent and achievement in sports/athletics, but can also represent a new challenge. I'm intending the latter meaning. The pattern on the door is loosely inspired by the koru pattern, which symbolises new life, growth, strength, and peace. The inclusion of the last is meant as ironic foreshadowing. This pattern has been represented with sharper lines than is usual, and in unusual colours (it is usually shown in green, mimicking the koru spiral of an unfurling silver fern)- the former is a sort of hint towards the challenges these kingdoms will quickly face (though Hawaii will have to wait a little longer than the others), and the latter is a show of merging with European culture- where these colours are generally more valued.
And you've made it! Congrats on reading this whole thing (I am patting you very gently on the head should you be comfortable with this). If you don't mind, reblog/comment this with a smile emoticon (your choice of which) to let me know someone's actually paid attention to all this! It's not something I expect, but it is greatly appreciated.
:)

Discovering Maui: Your Guide to Car Hire
Maui, the second-largest island in Hawaii, is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, from pristine beaches and verdant rainforests to volcanic terrains and picturesque valleys. To explore Maui thoroughly and enjoy its hidden gems, hiring a car is highly recommended. Here’s your comprehensive guide to car hire in Maui, ensuring a smooth and memorable adventure.
Why Hire a Car in Maui?
Public transportation in Maui is limited, and while there are taxis and shuttle services, they can be expensive and inconvenient. Hiring a car provides the flexibility to explore the island at your own pace, access remote areas, and avoid the restrictions of fixed schedules. Whether you’re visiting the bustling town of Lahaina, the serene Hana Highway, or the summit of Haleakalā, a car hire Maui is essential for a complete Maui experience.
Choosing the Right Car Hire
Types of Vehicles:
Economy and Compact Cars: Ideal for solo travelers or couples who plan to stay in main tourist areas like Kihei, Wailea, and Lahaina. These cars are fuel-efficient and easy to park in busy areas.
Midsize and Full-size Cars: Perfect for families or small groups, offering more space and comfort without sacrificing too much on fuel efficiency.
SUVs and 4x4s: Best suited for those planning to explore off-the-beaten-path locations, such as the Road to Hana or Haleakalā’s summit, providing better handling and higher clearance.
Convertibles: For a quintessential Maui experience, hire a convertible to enjoy the island’s scenic drives with the top down and the wind in your hair.
Car Hire Agencies: Maui offers a range of car hire options from well-known national brands to local companies:
National Brands: Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, and Budget. These companies offer extensive fleets and reliable service. Booking online in advance often results in better rates and availability.
Local Agencies: Kihei Rent A Car and Aloha Rent A Car. Local agencies might offer more personalized service and competitive rates, especially for longer hires.
Cost Considerations
Daily Rates: Car hire rates in Maui vary based on the season, type of vehicle, and hire duration. On average, expect to pay between $50 to $100 per day for a standard car. Booking several months in advance can help secure the best rates, particularly during peak tourist seasons (December to April and June to August).
Insurance: Insurance is a crucial aspect of car hire. Most companies offer collision damage waivers (CDW) and supplemental liability insurance (SLI). Check if your personal auto insurance or credit card covers rental cars to avoid unnecessary costs.
Additional Fees: Be aware of extra charges such as airport surcharges, taxes, fees for additional drivers, and costs for add-ons like GPS units or child seats. Clarify the fuel policy—whether you need to return the car with a full tank or if there’s a pre-paid fuel option.
Driving in Maui
Road Conditions: Maui’s roads are generally well-maintained, but some routes, like the Road to Hana, can be narrow and winding with many one-lane bridges. Drive cautiously, adhere to speed limits, and pull over to let faster traffic pass.
Parking: Parking is usually accessible, with ample spaces at most beaches and attractions. However, popular areas like Lahaina can get crowded. Utilize public parking lots and avoid parking in restricted zones to prevent fines.
Local Etiquette: Hawaiians are known for their friendly and laid-back nature. Embrace the Aloha spirit by driving courteously—use turn signals, yield to pedestrians, and let faster vehicles pass.
Must-See Drives in Maui
Road to Hana: This iconic drive features over 600 curves and 59 bridges, taking you through lush rainforests and past stunning waterfalls. Key stops include Twin Falls, Wai’anapanapa State Park, and the Seven Sacred Pools at Ohe’o.
Haleakalā National Park: Drive to the summit for a breathtaking sunrise or sunset above the clouds. The road is steep and winding, so ensure your vehicle is in good condition and dress warmly.
West Maui Loop: Explore the scenic west side of the island, including the Nakalele Blowhole, Olivine Pools, and the historic town of Lahaina.
Conclusion
Hiring a car in Maui is the key to unlocking the island’s full potential, allowing you to experience its stunning landscapes and diverse attractions on your own terms. Whether you’re embarking on the scenic Road to Hana, climbing the heights of Haleakalā, or simply beach-hopping along the coast, having a car hire provides the freedom and flexibility to make the most of your Maui adventure. Book your car in advance, drive safely, and embrace the Aloha spirit for an unforgettable island experience.

Exalted Secret Santa 2022: Moonsilver Shmoogaloo!
Yay for another year of the Exalted Secret Santa! This is my fourth year participating! I hope you like my characters, whomever you are reading this to choose! The post below is mostly just a copy of last year’s, but for the addition of my Lunar Lass, Leinani, whom I am actually currently playing in a game. Have fun!
Character 1: Leinani Keli’i
Refsheet Page Leinani is a Full Moon Caste Lunar Exalted from a small island chain in the West. Currently she is in the North with her fellow recently Exalted companions. She is strong, quick, and tougher than most, even before her exaltation. Part of this is due to a blessing she received from a God she thought was a representative of the local big time Volcano God. Nope. She had to leave due to the grave insult, which eventually took her to Tusk. She has a strong sense of what is right, and has major problems with cheating in a competition. That changes when it comes to combat, though. After all, a hunter should use whatever they can to take down their prey.
Lisara has the dark skin of the people of the West. Her real world inspirations draw heavily from Hawaii. She has turquoise hair which is typically loosely pulled back with a leather thong, and bright turquoise eyes to match. She is a tiny terror, at only 4′10″, but she can stare down and intimidate those much larger than she is. She is only 19 years old, and has been away from home for 3 years, so her arm tattoos are not particularly extensive. Primarily on her right shoulder she has pacific islander style tattoos involving spears, a shark, and a turtle. When she was barely a teenager, she was attacked by a tiger shark while swimming. She got it to leave by bapping it’s nose, but not before it got a good hold of her midsection. Now she has tiger shark tooth shaped scars on the right side of her belly and back. Her Spirit Shape is that of the tiger shark. Her tell is Gills down the sides of her ribcage. Clothingwise, Leinani tents towards a simple strapless blue top and loose skirt that’s easy to move in. Alternatively, since she’s in the North, she’s bundled up in northern furs. Regardless, she carries with her a short spear topped with an alchemically-treated coral head, with decorative shells on a loop beneath. She also has a necklace with a tiger shark tooth and two turquoise stones set on either side of the tooth. The tooth was in fact left-over in her belly after the shark attack. Leinani is also a Sorcerer. She learned her sorcery from a Neomah. Her control spell is Virtuous Guardian Flame which manifests as a spear made of green flame.
Character 2: Cynis Lisara
Refsheet Page Lisara is a Fire Aspect Dragonblood who is currently estranged and thought dead by her house. She is currently traveling with a couple Solars and and Exigent around the Great Forks area of Creation. Lisara might be a Cynis who indeed likes to party and have a good time, she doesn’t quite live up to the stereotypes of her House in that she doesn’t go to great excess and isn’t alright with slavery. She’s a very compassionate person who cares deeply for her friends and will fight tooth and nail for those she cares for.
Lisara is of Wan heritage, meaning she looks Real World Asian in appearance. Her aspect markings are red slashes along her face and body reminiscent of tiger stripes, and as her Anima intensifies the tips of the stripes begin to glow yellow. Her iconic Anima Banner is a giant tiger made of flames.
Clothingwise Lisara tends towards the styles of the Blessed Isle when dressing casual. One of her artifacts, a body-suit of superfine Black Jade chain, is light enough and flexible enough that she can wear it under basically any clothing that it wouldn’t look horrible with. For weapons she typically uses a guandao or a spear. Eventually she recovers her Dire Lance Flamewhorl.
Character 3: Seraiah
Refsheet Page Seraiah is a Dawn Caste Solar Exalted who doesn’t like to talk about her past. She is highly intelligent and a brilliant strategist, as well as being a master with the sword. She is stoic and thoughtful, but tends to get too focused at times and ignores what is happening outside her focus. She has had difficulty dealing with reconciling her new form and her Immaculate Beliefs, but is very private about them. She is currently traveling around the greater Great Forks area with a small circle of Exalts making a name for themselves, of which Lisara is also a member. Eventually the two come together as a couple, though there is a great deal of tension between the two at first, due to their shared past.
Seraiah is of mixed heritage, being half Wan and half Prasadi. She typically wears her long hair in a high ponytail, but has been seen to let it down in more casual atmospheres. She keeps her right arm covered in soft bandages at all times, except when bathing. The bandages cover up the fact that her arm is covered in a mass of burn scars. She refuses to talk about it.
Clothingwise, Seraiah has a few stages of typical dress. Early in her adventures she is wearing basically whatever clothes she can find that fit and are comfortable. Being a wandering Swordswoman with no money isn’t easy. After finding her circle and beginning to make a name for themselves, she is eventually convinced to spend money on a more tailored appearance. Regardless of outfit, she almost always is wearing a Jinbaori with the personal symbol of Smiling Fox on the back. Smiling Fox is a wandering swordsman who saved her from a Wyld Hunt and took her under his wing shortly after her Exaltation. Most important to Sai (what another companion took to calling her for short) is her sword, Akaidal. It is not an artifact, just a standard mortal heirloom sword. It’s intended design is a cross between a talwar and a katana. She basically thinks of Akaidal as a person, and refers to the sword as he/him.
Please have fun with them! I can’t wait to see what you do!

this what i think bts love language is
a/n: this just my thoughts besties i ain’t do no formal type of research or nun just let my lil imagination sprint 🥸🤪
namjoon:
physical affection/words of affirmation
okay so i said physical affection for one bc like he seem to like initiate contact with people around him a lot
like in interviews he be having his hand on whoever next to him thigh or like when he be performing if it’s someone next to him he throws his arms around them a lot
not to mention like whenever jimin or jk or whoever start feeling up on him he never rejects it or makes a face or anything like yoongi does he just accepts it
like there’s so many stage clips where jimin will come and rest his chin on joon’s shoulder and he just lets him
or jk will just start touching on him some way grabbing his arms or sumn and it doesn’t phase him at all
another example is like on day 2 of sowoozoo when tae randomly came and linked arms with him and hobi during mikrokosmos hobi was like 🥴🥴 but joon was just 😌
and then there was that magic shop muster moment when jk was talking about how much he loved joon and how he was his beginning you know as president of the joon fan club does and namjoon couldn’t help but to go over and give his number one admirer a hug you know the moment
same thing with compliments he lowkey be eating them up
like you know how whenever hobi gets complimented he be like “😶 don’t say those things” joon don’t do that
like when they was asked to take their jackets off during the butter shoot and namjoon was like yeah okay and everyone started hyping him up and he was just 💁🏼♂️😜
and again on day 2 sowoozoo when he pushed his hair back from his forehead and everyone went OHHHHHSWJJSJS SEXY NAMJOON and then he decided to murder us all by tilting his head back on top of that adding insult to injury i would insert the picture but for my mental health i will not
and again whenever they talk about him being such a great leader he never shies away from it doesn’t cringe always accepts it so you know it must mean a lot for him to hear those things
aside from that tho he’s such a poetic person
like he is definitely involved in an intimate affair with language so there’s no way he wouldn’t appreciate you verbally telling him how he makes you feel
like just think about how many times he’s said he wants to sit down with each army and listen to their story
that being said if this was your man i think you’d definitely have to both show and tell him how you feel
like if he was about to head out for work you definitely got to kiss him before he leaves
and if you on the phone with him the last words you’re saying are i love you
and he’s definitely gonna cherish it each time always gonna have that cute little smile dimples caved in his cheeks bc you love him and he feels it
seokjin:
acts of service/words of affirmation
alright so ngl the reason i said acts of service for seokjin is like almost 100% based on his reaction to tae setting up that birthday event for him where he had his friends send him messages
he talked about it for WEEKS like he was genuinely so moved that i just like he has to love it
and then there’s like how much he bothers jk to like do simple stuff like i’m specifically thinking about that one moment in bon voyage 4 when he was sitting down at the table and called jk to help him up
and then there’s also little things he does for others like when he peeled tae’s tangerines for him or when he offered to feed yoongi bc he was driving or how he always offers bites of his food before even gets a chance to taste it
now i say words of affirmation bc he always searching for a compliment
my minds going to when jk hurt his foot and jin was pushing him in the wheelchair and kept feeding him lines to say about how he was such a good hyung and how he loves him
or in the behind the scenes for the boy with luv video and he kept tryna get tae to compliment him for being witty
and my boy never misses a chance to introduce himself as worldwide handsome
even though he does a lot of those things jokingly there are moments when he’s serious too about giving compliments and shy when he receives them like in those be interviews when he called jk a singing genius and jungkook was talking about how he had the most range and he got all ☺️☺️
or that moment from in the soop when he was comforting yoongi about like not having regrets and when yoongi told him he wanted to be like him just those kinds of moments let me know words are important to him
which just made me remember how hard he tries with his lyrics and how important they are to him like when he was writing awake and he talked about how he kept getting rejected but he was super insistent bc it was important for him to sing the words he wrote and don’t even get me started on moon i just-
anyway jin done said many times he is a man of the present so if you’re with him you gotta actively show/tell him
if you’re at the store pick him up some gummies
if you know he’s got a long day ahead of him maybe pack him some snacks to take with him in the morning
if his hair looks nice tell him
send him messages throughout the day even if he can’t respond immediately
he claims he’s a man of the present but whenever he takes a moment to reminisce the past he’ll look back and know just how much you care about him
yoongi:
quality time/acts of service
listen as much as this man loves spending time alone the time he spends with others means a lot to him
like how he always go fishing with jin even tho he ain’t particularly fond of it
or how like in in the soop he had made plans to play games with jimin and did so extensively
also from in the soop when he had spent most of his day outside reading but then he had heard everyone starting to make the theme song and immediately ran to get his equipment to record and what not
not to mention his poem from the end of that one run episode where they went on like a mini trip or whatever and he was like “what a relief that we have seven members. what a relief that we have each other.”
like being all together is important to him
like i just think about that one scene from one of they movies ion remember which one but they were all gathered around the table and it was when he had told them how he actually hurt his shoulder and they was talking about how they was worried about jk and how he need to come out his room and it’s not even the content of the scene but just like the fact that he ain’t have to be there but he was
and also can’t neglect to mention how he whined for y e a r s about how ain’t nobody come to visit him on set when he was filming the videos for his first mixtape like mans wouldn’t let that go and then how touched he was when they made appearances on his daechwita set even if he couldn’t express it properly
and how he begged for them to make cameos in the video and how happy he was when jin and jk did
and he doesn’t ever forget to mention whenever him and hobi hang out he’s like yeah we went for a drink and dinner and talked and blah blah
he loves it when people make an effort to be around him
now acts of service i got this all on a whim okay like… listen… we all been there we have all watched an ideal type video on youtube don’t lie okay
and up there it be like he want someone to bring him food in the studio and take care of him and stuff like that and in this case the math maths
you really can see that in how he treats others
like just the other day i saw a gifset somewhere and the boys were like yeah yoongi always takes care of us he don’t make eye contact tho
not to mention how he always cooks for them when they go on trips
and even though he ain’t give seokjin his song yet we know it’s coming! eventually!
and whenever they be ganging up on jungkook yoongi always the first one to be like “stooooppp you gon make him cry”
my baby just always be doing little things for others to show he cares okay 🥺
so if you got with my baby you gotta take care of him 🥺🥺🥺
he really needs someone that understands him bc he not gonna say anything
if you’re all hanging out together make sure you’re by his side so he knows you want to be there with him
if he’s busy stuck in his studio drop by even if you just end up laying on the couch he’s gonna appreciate you just being with him
and bring food my baby getting buff he need all the veggies and protein he can get
hoseok:
receiving gifts
i really had to think about this one but once i connected the dots yeah it makes total sense
like he looooves shopping loves getting stuff so when other people give him stuff i know he just 🥰🥰🥰
hobi lights up when he gets gifts they don’t always have to be big but i know he very much appreciates them
like how in the army corner store festa video when asked to bring something meaningful to them he brought those figurines which was the first gift a fan gifted him
which makes me think about how those limited edition figurines dropped and hobi was like i need to get one for namjoon and then namjoon was like i need to get one for hobi and so they ended up with like two of them or something like that
also from festa in the little photo booth mission every time he won a prize he was like yaaasss omg and was thinking of ways to put it to use like when he got that picture frame he immediately stuck them film strips in it he probably got it hanging in his room or in his studio by now tbh
and i think it was on the canada run bts episode where jk bought him those slippers and he was super happy
even when they were in hawaii and him and jin were hungry on the bus and he asked jin for gummies like ofc jin had to get on his nerves first but when he finally gave him his snacks he went from 😐 to 😚
or how he still has that change purse that namjoon bought him in malta (probably still got the money in there too tbh)
speaking of malta got me thinking about how tae went out of his way to win hobi that flamingo bc he said he’d never seen one and when tae gave it to him he went parading it around telling everyone that tae won it for him and then said he was gonna put it in his studio
and he got that chicken leg pillow they gave him from you quiz on the couch in his studio
and i think it was from the 2020 winter package he was so happy when jin bought him those ugly little troll elf things with the hat you know what i’m talking about
and he commented like three times when jungkook drew that picture of him for his birthday
and we know mans be giving gifts too
like how he got yoongi that coffee truck on the set of daechwita
and when they were on the speak yourself tour and he went out shopping on a day off and bought jin a sweater or something
and how he slaved through like 2 or 3 lives making bracelets for the members and then gave it to them on the bang bang con live
and the most devastating one of all when they had to give each other gifts i think it was on the run episode with all the water games but i could be wrong anyway and like most of them gave each other gag gifts like their merch or whatever but hobi gave jimin (and the rest of the members) a cd for his song promise it had a little photo book in it and everything 😭😭😭
so like whoever gets with this fine specimen gon have to throw a few dollars together to make sure this man is kept
not really i’m sure he doesn’t expect you to sell your car for a gucci peacoat or your soul for a rolex
but if you did decide to save up for some time to get him a little extravagant gift i know he’d more than appreciate it
more often than not though it’d be the little things that got to him like if you bought a simple t shirt from the store but then kinda like upcycled it drew little doodles on it wrote “i’m your hope” somewhere on it there would definitely be a picture uploaded of him on weverse or twitter wearing it
or if you decided to compile the pictures of you two together into a scrapbook or something he’d keep it somewhere accessible like in a drawer in his desk in his studio and flip through it with a little smile on his face when he’s missing you
and even if it was something even smaller than that like say he mentioned in passing that like idk he was out of eggs or something and you bought him some he just might marry you
jimin:
physical affection/quality time
the first thing that comes to mind with this for jimin is how he comforts his boys
like there’s so many behind the scenes clips from tour where like jk or tae will be upset with their performance and crying and jimin would be the one to come up behind them and hug them and wipe their tears
same concept for that one moment in bon voyage 3 when they told him that tae was crying and he just kinda hugged him and wiped his tears and hovered around him to make sure he was okay
or when they left hobi at the gas station in bon voyage 4 and then went back to pick him up he still hugged hobi even as he was laughing evilly
also in bon voyage 4 when they went on that helicopter tour and they was on the mountain and him and tae tackled each other and was rolling in the snow
and he is just like always in jk arms like he just jumps on him for no reason like in that video where lee hyun is acting as one of bts’ management
also in the behind from i think when they were practicing for the 2019 bbmas i believe at some point jungkook was holding that man spinning him in circles or sumn like that
and there’s also that one comeback show when him and tae were in the comic book cafe and they were just cuddled up together looking at tae’s phone practicing english i think
and on that one joon live when him and tae crashed and just caused a whole lot of commotion i’m pretty sure at one point they were cuddled on the couch and then jimin told tae his breath stinks and tae proceeded to open his mouth over the air purifier
anyway clearly he is a man with hands
but he also is someone who loves to spend time together it’s important to him
like i just think about how when they had their “break” back in 2019 he talked about how he just traveled the entire time and he went with various friends and family
and i’m pretty sure it was bon voyage 3 when they were doing their friendship trips and trying to make fresh pairings or whatever he was like i don’t think there’s any surprising pairing with me and it’s like… that’s true
like you got minimoni, minimini, jikook etc… all tried tested and true man gets around his band
and he’s the main one who’s always like “yeah bro we should live in the dorms until we’re 50”
and he always talks about how he can’t be alone and how he’s always gotta be doing something with someone
and his lives!!! his lives!!!! when he spends time with us it’s always so intimate and personable
like you can’t tell me that i ain’t have dinner with him and jin after a show in the hotel room and we drank off camera even after the staff told us we couldn’t 😤🤚
there’s also that time he went live and someone said they had some kind of condition and then he took it upon himself to look it up and try to find treatments
just liiiike whenever he goes live every minute counts bro and yes this is me trying to summon him bc we ain’t had a solo jimin live since october and i know they super busy but i miss 😓😓😓
so for this mans i just feel like you just gotta really be with him
just like he makes every second count you have to as well
like he’s gonna want to have your full attention and you’ll definitely have his he’ll be obsessed with you tbh
however he doesn’t always have the time and his schedule definitely isn’t the most accommodating so he’s gonna want someone to put in the effort
but as long as you make sure he knows you’re all in he’ll always meet you halfway
taehyung:
words of affirmation
now this one has been stated explicitly multiple times and he’s admitted it himself
specifically during let’s bts in their segment within the segment and namjoon was like taehyung the kind of person who grows from compliments
and i ain’t even got the right words to express how i feel about the smile he couldn’t help when hobi had them all tell tae that they like him
not to mention the story he told during the festa video last year about how he always tried his very best to get hobi to praise him and how disappointed he was when hobi didn’t get it
and i may be tripping but didn’t like earlier this year he didn’t post on weverse or twitter for like a month or so because he wanted to keep seeing us say how much we miss him???
and in bon voyage season 2 when they had to write letters to each other and he wrote his to jimin and then cried when he read it
there’s also a moment in bon voyage 4 when he and rm were about to sleep in the same space and he asked joon if he could cuddle him and joon was like 🥴🤚 how bout no and tae was like you do like me right? and rm was like yeah of course but let’s not cuddle bro
also in that weverse magazine interview they did he talked about how depressed he got when they weren’t able to perform and he only felt happy for a while when he was able to communicate with us
and in turn he’s very verbally supportive as well
like at that one fan sign they was talking about bon voyage and they asked army which season they liked better 1 or 2 and someone said 1 and taehyung was like “😐 now why would you say that bc namjoon won’t even in that” even though really it was only like 1 or 2 episodes he missed out on
and like he’s always hyping seokjin up like when they were doing the map of the soul 7 comeback live and jin was talking about how he wasn’t a good dancer and taehyung was like 😡 don’t say that bc it’s not true you’re good and you always been good
and in the let’s bts thing again it was important for him to let jimin know that he likes him best like they really are best friends y’all 😭
and when he talks about how much he loves suga’s raps
and that moment in the soop when he set up a date for him and jungkook to talk out whatever tension they had or whatever
and how during those individual be interviews he had hobi flustered when he complimented his passion for music
and he always be saying like the most comforting stuff on weverse letting army know he’s there as a source of comfort at all times even when he can’t be
like this man is literally the creator of borahae meaning that we’ll love and support each other for a long time
so if you get with tae communication is key!!!
you gotta tell him how you feel about him
if you’re out and about and see something that reminds you of him? tell him. if you like his hair that day? tell him. if he does something that pisses you off? tell him. if you miss him? tell him. if you love him? tell him.
like y’all gon talk about everything and nothing at all some days you’ll be discussing aliens and parallel universes other days you’ll be like discussing the future of your relationship
and ya know he a busy man so you not always gon be having long and drawn out heart to hearts so i think he’d love it if you just sent messages throughout the day something that let him know you were thinking of him even if it’s just a picture of a possum you chased down or if you spammed him with tiktoks you thought he’d like
he’d be looking at his phone like 🥰🤳 thinking about how much he loves you
jungkook:
physical affection
now this lil menace right here is touchy
always down for a cuddle
like on the canada episode of run when they were about to pick out rooms and he was like firmly latched onto hobi on the couch while they waited
and when they were practicing home for the magic shop muster and yoongi sat in the arm chair and immediately jk sat in his lap and tae sat in his lap
or how in in the soop after they were done eating he just went and latched onto jin’s back
and how tae had went to go wake jk up that one time and they ended up falling asleep
or how jk had went to wake up jimin that one time and they ended up falling asleep
there was just a lot of jk cuddles going on in in the soop so i’ll move on
let’s talk about the pool water debate run episode where in the end jk decided to latch onto jin’s back yet again
i’ll take this moment to mention the jinkook moment that lives in my head rent free for no valid reason it’s from the life goes on countdown video where they were reading the post cards and he was wearing that big pink sweatshirt and jin was wearing that pink and black bomber jacket and jk just grabbed jin’s arm and held onto it and played with it and when he was done he just threw it away i… i think about that moment a lot there’s an entire section in both my head and heart dedicated to that moment anyway continuing on
i’ll talk about that time they were backstage for a show and they had them blow up mattresses and suga was minding his business resting and jk just rolled up and moved his legs and laid beside him and then hobi decided to pile on top
and whenever they’re on stage he’s always the most delighted when joon would suggest a hug he’d be the first one over there nose scrunched up giggling he loves it
there’s also many instances in interviews and lives where he just can’t keep him hands to himself
just like that last butter live when tae ended up with a crown of forks thanks to mr kook
and he never misses an opportunity to feel up joon
which makes me remember that time he kissed namjoon on the forehead
and he is just always carrying jimin for some reason
so in conclusion… physical affection
and if he was your mans you’d be on the frontlines of receiving all he has to give
not necessarily in public or around a lot of people but in a space where you both were comfortable yes
you’d just have to accept that when you’re standing around he’s going to give you a shoulder/neck/back massage for no particular reason
and he will latch onto you in different positions for extended periods of time
and you gotta do the same! like that’s your man! go give him a hug! a kiss! let him know you love him
cuddle up to him while y’all chilling watching tv
hold his hand while y’all talking
just like grab onto him and never let him go
he’ll be hoping you don’t

Never Have I Ever - Harry Styles (part 8)
a/n: oh my! we have finally reached the end of this story and I never thought it would turn out to be this long but im happy it did! thank you for reading and loving it, and now, enjoy the last part!
pairing: Harry x actress!reader
word count: 4k
warning: just pure fluff
SERIES MASTERPOST
masterlist
“Girl, even if you don’t win, you’ll surely take the title of the hottest woman on the red carpet tonight.”
Florence’s words make you chuckle, but you try not to move your lips too much as the makeup artist finishes up the last touches on them, using a nude shade.
“Stop, my head is big enough already,” you tell her, giving her a look through the mirror. She is standing a few feet behind you, already wearing her beautiful, golden Versace gown that hugs her perfectly. Her hair is up in a neat bun so her back can be on full display and the diamonds in her ears can also shine brightly. She looks amazing while she is the opposite of what you’ll look like tonight.
Rhonda, the makeup artist has an amazing notion about your look when you showed her the gown you’d be wearing tonight and since the dress is not the sparkly kind, like Florence’s, she went a little heavier with the glitter on your eyes, using mostly whitish-silver colors, creating rosy cheeks and topping it with nude, glossy lips. Your hair is in loose curls with a bunch of extension, creating the illusion that you might as well be Rapunzel herself tonight. But you are the most excited about the gown that’s already waiting for you to be finally put on.
“What time is it?” you ask Florence as you don’t have your phone on you, but she has hers in her hands already.
“We still have half an hour before we have to leave. Dude, I can’t believe you are an Oscar nominee and might turn into a winner tonight!” she sighs, eyes shining bright with excitement. She hasn’t come off of this high for days, so over the Moon that you get to walk the red carpet tonight as a nominee.
“Don’t jinx it, Flo,” you warn her.
There’s a knock on the door of the hotel suit you’ve occupied for the glamming and Florence is quick to rush to it answering, but you both know who it is. As she throws the door open Harry comes to your sight, looking as handsome as ever, wearing his custom made Gucci suit with a pink dress shirt underneath that matches your gown perfectly.
“Florence, you look wonderful!” his british accent fills the room, making you smile. Rhonda sets your makeup with some spray and you’re finally done. Standing up you move your legs around a bit as they went a little numb from all the sitting.
“Thank you! Pink suits you well, Harry,” your friend compliments your man and you watch them smiling.
When Harry’s eyes set on you, the light up, his smile widening from ear to ear. He looks spotless, freshly shaved, his hair recently cut and combed into place for a change. Not that you don’t like it when it’s all tousled and messy, especially when it’s because of your fingers.
“Angel, wow!” he breathes out as he walks up to you, taking your hands in his. You know he wants to kiss you, but doesn’t want to risk messing your lips up, so he is left with admiring you with only his eyes.
“Just wait until you see her in the dress!” Florence chimes in making you chuckle. You kept your dress a secret, wanting to surprise him with the first look. You gave out only the most necessary details for Lambert so the two of you could match.
“You’d be great like this too,” he teases, taking a look at your fluffy robe.
“I’m not going to the Oscars in a robe,” you tell him with a narrow-eyed look.
“I know, I’m just saying that you’d still be stunning,” he mumbles with a boyish smirk.
“Y/N? Time to choose a necklace!” Your stylist, Rupert appears from the room where your gown is hanging. He has a few jewelry boxes in his hands and he sets them all to the coffee table, opening up you are met with four breathtakingly beautiful diamond necklaces, each of them different yet so magical looking, you can’t decide which one you like the most.
“Harry, which one do you like the most?” you ask, kneeling down next to the table, mesmerized by the jewelries in front of you. Harry leans down and inspects them one by one before poking on the last one in the row. It has three rows of diamonds, not too big, the stones in the last row are shaped like water droplets, it’s such an elegant looking piece, it surely caught your eyes as well and you think it would be perfect with the dress.
“This one,” he tells you and you nod, shutting the other boxes, satisfied with the choice.
“Alright, time to get you into the gown, girl,” Rupert winks, gesturing at you to follow him into the room.
“I’ll be right back,” you tell Harry, risking a quick peck on his lips before you disappear in your temporary dressing room.
You fell in love with the gown on the first fitting when Rupert pulled it out, still in the finishing phase. It still has pins in it, but it already took your breath away. It has a massive A-line skirt and a tight upper part that hugs your body perfectly, a row of buttons running down the middle of it. The sleeves are puffy, but then end in a tight run from a little above your wrists, the same set of buttons appearing like on your chest. It’s giving out some Victorian style vibes in a more sophisticated and simpler way, but it’s by far your favorite dress you’ve ever worn to any event.
It surely needs the extra pair of hands from Rupert to put it on, but once you are secured in it, you feel like a princess straight out of a fairytale and surely, your prince is standing on the other side of the double doors.
“Alright! Everyone get ready for the big reveal!” Rupert announces, sneaking out the room so he can open the door for you. He waits a few moments as you hear everyone shuffle around outside, probably lining up to see you walk out in your finished state. “Okay, three! Two! One! Welcome our Oscar nominee!” he cheers, a round of applause is heard before you even appear, but it’s quickly replaced with gasps when Rupert pulls the doors open and they get the first glimpse of you in your gown.
“Holy fuck!” Florence gasps, mouth hanging open as she keeps raking your form up and down. Your eyes find Harry’s gaze and you see him in a state you haven’t often found him in the past almost two years you’ve been dating. He is completely speechless, eyes glued to you in awe as if he just saw an angel in real life.
“Y/N, I—wow,” he breathes out, still at a loss of words.
“You like it?” you ask with a shy smile.
“I fucking love it, baby. You look… You really are an angel,” he tells you, making you chuckle at his words.
“Would you please help me put on the necklace?” you ask him and he nods eagerly, carefully taking the jewelry out of its box and walking behind you, he brings it around your neck, his fingers delicately working on the clasp. Once it’s all set, you step to the floor to ceiling mirror, taking in the final look.
“There won’t be a straight woman left on Earth once you step on the red carpet,” Florence bluntly comments, making everyone in the room laugh.
“Let’s take some photos, I need to immortalize this masterpiece,” Rupert gestures around, already grabbing his camera.
The next ten minutes you take hundreds of photos, alone, with Florence and then with Harry. He still seems a little stunned by your look, feeling shy when he circles his arm around your waist, but it’s cute that you can still have such an effect on him after being together for almost two years.
Florence snaps some with your phone as well, your favorite is when he held your waist and leant you back, making you arch backwards as your noses touched since he couldn’t kiss you. You already know it’ll end up as your lockscreen, replacing the selfie the two of you took on your latest trip to Hawaii.
When it’s time to leave you grab your little purse with your phone and other necessities and the three of you pile up in a minivan, since your dress needs all the space so it doesn’t get wrinkled before you step out to the red carpet.
As you sit in the car and watch the buildings pass by, your nerves start to rise in you. When the nominations came out a month ago it seemed so far, you couldn’t imagine yourself actually attending the Academy Awards, but now here you are, on your way to find out if you’ve been good enough to be the best.
Your role in Sinful Heaven has brought a lot to your life aside from the nomination. The three months of filming was one of the hardest times in your life you’ve ever worked through and at some points, you didn’t even think you’d get through it. Working so closely with Levi took a toll on you while you were trying to prove in such a heavy and serious role. It was a mess especially at the beginning when you and Harry were still in this weird phase, but that eventually turned right when he literally punched Levi in the face and ten minutes later asked you to be his girlfriend. It’s a badass way to start a relationship and you wouldn’t trade it for anything, especially because it put Levi into place or at least scared him enough to get off your back for the rest of the filming.
When Harry left following that visit, you couldn’t see each other until filming wrapped and you flew straight to him and travelled with him for the next two weeks, hopping from one city to the other, watching him perform every other night and spending all your time with him.
When the movie premiered eight months later, you didn’t appear with Harry by your side, Maya was your date for the evening, but by that time everyone knew you and Harry are an official couple. Neither of you felt like hiding it or caring about what others would think and you were able to focus on each other and rely on the strong foundation you’ve built for your relationship.
He was there with you when the nominations came out and probably screamed louder when your name appeared in the list. With tearing eyes and choked out sobs you jumped into his arms as he mumbled into your ear.
“I’m so proud of you, Angel. So, so proud!”
And now you are on your way to the show, only hours away from finding out if your dreams will come true tonight. Harry squeezes your hand and you turn to face him, his soft eyes meeting yours.
“Nervous?” he asks with a small smile.
“Very,” you admit with an airy chuckle.
“Whatever happens tonight, I’m very proud of you. Don’t forget that.”
“Thank you,” you whisper, giving his hand a squeeze back.
Since it’s the first time you and Harry appear on the red carpet as a couple, once you set your feet out of the car, everyone goes nuts. He helps you out and even fixes your dress so it falls just perfectly around your frame before he offers his arm. You link your through it, taking a deep breath as the two of you start walking down the carpet, posing for the photographers.
You feel powerful and strong, like it’s the peak of your career, but you also feel that it wouldn’t be the same without Harry by your side even though he is making sure to let you shine tonight. At one point he even steps back for a moment so photographers can snap you alone and you think it’s such a caring move from him.
You feel a little dizzy from all the flashlights by the time you walk into the theater, Harry holding your hand tightly as he leads you to your seats.
You’ve been to plenty award shows and it’s not even your first Academy Awards appearance either, but for obvious reasons, it’s the most important. Sitting in your plush chair, you can barely stop yourself from continuously fidgeting as one category follows the other and it’s still not yours.
Then following a jaw-dropping performance from Dua Lipa, Chris Evans walks out with a golden statue and an envelope in his hands and your heart skips a beat, but not because of the man himself, but because you know he is the presenter of the Best Actress category.
Your hold on Harry’s hand on your lap tightens and you glue your eyes to the big screens behind Chris as he smiles around.
“Good evening. It’s a pleasure to be here and to present the award for Best Actress. The theater tonight is filled with exceptional talents, but let’s see the nominees,” he speaks into the microphone and then he starts listing the names.
Emma Stone, Anne Hathaway, Margot Robbie and Rooney Mara are called and a camera fixates on each of them when Chris says their names, all smiling brightly and waving around before your name is called at the end. Taking a deep breath you plaster your most wonderful smile across your face, waving around like the other nominees did before the big screen splits, showing the five of you simultaneously.
“We’ve seen some spectacular performances from these ladies and now let’s see who proved herself to be the best this year.”
Chris flips the envelope open and pulls the little paper out that has the winner’s name written on it and for a moment you’re convinced you’ll pass out. You’ve never felt this anxious before and you’re gripping Harry’s hand so tightly you’re surprised he hasn’t pulled it back, but he is patiently putting up with your nerves, his eyes glued to the man on the stage as well.
“And the Academy Award for Best Actress goes to…” Chris starts with a charming smile, holding a short pause before he finally says the name. “Y/N Y/L/N for her role as Marie Davidson in Sinful Heaven!”
Your mouth hangs open, ears ringing as you process that your name was called. Everyone around you jumps up, including Harry, who is screaming just like when the nominations came out, while you are completely blank. It takes you a couple of moments to realize that you in fact just won your first Oscar and everyone is waiting for you to go and get your little statue.
“Baby! Baby you won!” Harry cheers as he helps you up from your seat and you throw yourself into his arms as reality sets in. “I fucking love you, Angel. Go and get your Oscar!” he laughs, pride all over his face as he urges you to walk up to the stage.
“Walk me up, please!” you stammer, not trusting yourself with walking in this fragile state. He offers his hand without a second thought, walking you to the stage where Chris is politely waiting for you to help you up on the stairs.
“Thank you,” you breathe out once you’re finally up on the stage, every set of eyes on you as Chris hands you the little statue.
“Congratulations,” he smiles as the two of you exchange two kisses on the cheeks before he steps aside and lets you give a speech.
You thought about writing a few words beforehand, but you figured if you end up being the winner you’d forget the whole thing, so there would be no use and that’s the case. Your mind is still blank as you look down at the award in your hands, the crowd still cheering on you, giving you a few extra moments to figure out what to say.
“I uhh—I don’t even know what to say, this feels like a dream,” you admit talking into the microphone, the clapping dying down so that everyone can hear your words. “I want to thank to everyone who worked on Sinful Heaven, because I wouldn’t be here without them. To my wonderful director and amazing costars, it’s been such a wonderful journey with you all. Thank you to my friends and family who were there with me from the very start, believing in me when I was losing faith in myself, thank you for never giving up on me. To my parents who I assume are now crying in front of the TV,” you add chuckling softly, imagining your mom and dad in tears as they listen to your words. “This is a wonderful sign to me that I am where I need to be and that I’m on the right path, so thank you for giving me even more motivation to keep me going on my way.”
Your eyes roam around all the guests until they fall on one proud man staring at you in his Gucci suit and pink dress shirt, his green eyes looking glossy as he listens to your words.
“And last but not least, thank you to one special person, because I’m convinced I wouldn’t be here tonight without him. I have one thing to tell you.” Forgetting about everyone in the theater you hold up the Oscar in your hand as you finish your speech: “Never have I ever loved someone like I love you.”
The crowd starts cheering again as you step away from the microphone and Chris is quick to jog up to you and help you down the stairs, Harry rushing back to take your hand once Chris lets go of it.
You catch him wipe a tear off his cheek as the two of you walk back to your seats hand in hand. Once you are settled, you take a deep breath and turn to Harry who is already looking at you, the same proud smile you saw from the stage still on his handsome face.
“I have never,” he tells you as his answer to the last line of your speech and you chuckle as your free hand finds the back of his neck, pulling him close. The lipstick on your lips long forgotten as you finally kiss him for the first time tonight.
“I have never either,” you whisper against his lips before kissing him again and again.
***
Smiling around you wait for the audience to quiet down as you make yourself comfortable in the familiar armchair. It’s such a nostalgic feeling to sit here again.
“Y/N, it’s so nice to have you here again,” Ellen greets you once the clapping has stopped.
“Thank you for inviting me.”
“Of course. A lot has happened since the last time you were here, you won an Oscar just a few weeks ago, congratulations!”
The cheering starts again as a picture of you appears on the screen behind you, wearing your iconic pink gown, holding your Oscar in your hands.
“Thank you,” you shyly smile, still not entirely in peace with the fact that you are now an Oscar winning actress.
“Such a major thing, congrats.”
“Thank you, it is a huge thing, yes.”
“Do you already have a spot for the award? Does it have a designated place?”
“Well, for now it is in my study along with some more mementos, but I’m planning to have a little stand made in the living room,” you share your plans.
“Surely, I would want to show it off if I had an Oscar,” Ellen chuckles. “You have such a busy time behind you, have you been up to something new lately?”
“We finished filming the third season of The Umbrella Academy, so now I’m having a little break before I jump into anything new.”
“Sounds nice, you deserve all the relaxing. Anything planned while you’re on a break? A new book to read, or maybe a concert to go to?” she asks and you already know where this is heading.
“You know you can just ask if I’m planning to attend a Harry Styles concert,” you bluntly tell her, making the audience and Ellen laugh.
“Well, I was just asking around about your plans, but I’m happy you plan to visit Harry’s concert! It’s also good to know that the situation has changed since the last time you were here, you definitely have been to one of his concerts since then.”
“I have been, yes,” you admit smirking.
“And I assume the two of you are now very close, am I right?” she asks and suddenly a paparazzi photo of the two of you appears where you’re walking down the street hand in hand just a couple of weeks ago.
“You could say that,” you nod, biting into your bottom lip.
“Amazing, because he is going to join us now. Everyone, please welcome Harry Styles!” Ellen announces and turning around you spot Harry walking out from backstage, the audience screaming for him. He shyly waves around walking up to the center, greeting Ellen with a kiss on the cheek before he turns to you, pecking your lips shortly as he sits down next to you.
“Harry, so good to see you again,” Ellen smiles at him.
“Good t’ see you as well,” he nods.
“So, the last time you two were sitting here, you—it was the first time you ever met, right?”
“Right,” you nod with Harry.
“And now you are…” she gestures at the two of you, not finishing the sentence, but everyone knows what she meant by that.
“And now we are… not strangers anymore,” Harry says chuckling, making everyone in the studio laugh.
“Certainly,” Ellen nods. “Alright, I thought that we could play another game, just to bring back some nice memories,” she explains, reaching behind her armchair, grabbing the familiar board from her, flipping it in your hands with a nostalgic smile.
“Can we keep it PG rated though?” Harry asks, examining his board before looking up at Ellen.
“No,” she simply answers, reaching for her cards as the audience starts laughing. “Okay, you know how to play it, no need for explanation. Here is the first one: Never have I ever used my fame to get in somewhere.”
Ellen is quick to show the I HAVE side of her board and you slowly do the same while Harry thinks to himself.
“Oh come on, you surely have,” you elbow him playfully as he smirks in your way, holding up the same side as you and Ellen.
“We all have, it’s not a shame,” Ellen shrugs. “Next one. Never have I ever forgotten the name of someone right after they introduced themselves.”
Ellen holds up the I HAVE side and you do the same again while this time Harry flips it over to I HAVE NEVER confidently.
“Really?” Ellen asks him, surprised at his answer.
“I’m good with names,” he simply shrugs.
“That’s a good trait. Alright, let’s move on. Never have I ever punched someone in the face.”
It’s a sneaky and very shady statement. Just a few days after the incident with Levi, word got out that he was punched, a few blurry pictures floating around the internet of his bruise, then fans figured out it had to happen around the time Harry visited set and people were quick to put the picture together and assume that Harry was the one who hit Levi, but it was never confirmed.
Glancing at your boyfriend you are fighting your smile back, holding up the I HAVE NEVER side as he is looking back at you slyly, continuously flipping his board before it finally lands on I HAVE, the audience immediately rumbling at the partial confirmation and seemingly Ellen is also amazed by Harry’s honesty.
“Alright, interesting. Love that for you, Harry,” he comments making everyone laugh as you reach over and give Harry’s hand a squeeze. “Last one,” Ellen announces, reading the last statement from her cards. “Never have I ever fallen in love with someone I played never have I ever with.”
Ellen quickly shows her I HAVE NEVER side as you suck your lips into your mouth, glancing at Harry again. You share a look before you both slowly raise your boards, both reading the same sign on them: I HAVE.

Rossi's Daughter
I sat sipping expensive wine in the middle of a crowded expensive, posh, Italian restaurant waiting for my old family friend. The only member of my family who knew what I'm doing for work. Italians are weird about family, the family name must always be protected, family is better than anything. You get the picture. Rossi was an extension of my family and he always treated me as such even promised my mama that he'd protect me in America. Then I saw him, dark black hair with small amounts of white peppered through. His beard was worse, he looked skinnier or maybe he was just taller I couldn't tell.
"Ah Rossi," I smiled standing up to meet him. "Che piacere vederti! Da quanto tempo."
Rossi grabbed both my arms and smiled "Che piacere vederti, cara."
We kissed cheeks and Rossi pulled my chair out for me and sat me down.
"You don't have to do that for me," I smiled warmly and grabbed the glass of red wine.
"But I want to," Rossi smiled and seated himself down and took a look at the wine bottle. "Contrada R? Are you trying to sweeten me up?"
"You're the one who called me here, remember?” I smiled and swirled the glass in my hand. “Come stai, Rossi?”
“Still sweeting me up my dear (Y/N/N)?” He smiled and held the glass in his hand. “But I am doing well just got back from a case.”
“Did you catch the guy?” I asked, crossing my legs and setting the wine down.
“Yes, but I would rather not talk about my work here,” Rossi replied, smiling warmly to me. “Come stai, (Y/N).”
“Va benissimo! Business is amazing, making great money. I have more new clients than I have ever had,” I smiled at him. “But I doubt we came here to talk business.”
“As a matter of fact we did,” Rossi paused and took a bite of his food when he noticed both our glasses of wine were empty. He called the waiter over before saying, “Mi porti dell’altro vino per favore.”
“Oh,” I smiled and took a bite of my food. “So you didn’t call me down here to banter like old friends,no?”
“Lets just say it’s a little bit of both,” Rossi let out a small chuckle while continuing to shove food in his face.
“Well then please elaborate,” I said, taking a sip of wine and laying back against the chair.
“I have a friend, he lost his wife last year but he hasn’t,” Rossi wiped his mouth and bearded then looked down, almost like he was nervous. “He hasn’t gotten back out there. It’s affecting him at work and he just really needs to get laid.”
“I see,” I said, leaning forward and tapping the silverware. “So you want me to seduce your friend, is that right?”
I made sure to put emphasis on the “friend” portion since I didn’t believe that this man was really his friend, perhaps a coworker; but not a friend.
“Well not exactly,”He paused again, done with his plate and handed it to the waiter. “Aaron is different. Stoic, a hardass, jobroni. He’s overly professional, he doesn’t want a girlfriend, he needs a companion.”
“I thought you wanted me to sleep with him, in your words he needs to get laid, no? So what is it, am I sleeping with him or just being another friend?” I was intrigued by this, maybe even a bit excited. I hadn’t had an overly professional in my bed or my wallet before. “I don’t think this friend is really a friend, coworker maybe? You know I won’t judge.”
“I didn’t say you shouldn’t sleep with him, I said he needs a companion. You can still sleep with him and be his companion,” Rossi laughed and leaned over the table.
“So what’s the price hm? You’re paying me, he’s paying me, i’m doing this pro bono,” I said, crossing my legs and leaning forward.
“Oh so you're interested?" Rossi asked smiling.
"I made that obvious, no?" I replied.
"I didn't want to assume," Rossi laughed and waved the waiter over. "Il conto, per favore."
The waiter noded and quickly ran off.
"Leaving so soon?" I questioned. "We aren't done talking business."
Soon the check was placed on the table. Rossi quickly pulled his card out and handing it to the waiter. The waiter quickly came back muttering a thank you in italian.
"I just thought the next bit of business was best left to be done while I drove you home," Rossi said pulling my jacket from the back of my chair. That was my cue to stand up.
"Grazie Mille," I said as he placed my jacket on my shoulders. I slipped my arms through and fixed it so I felt more comfortable then I looped my arm through Rossi's as he led me out.
"I'll do it pro bono if you'd like. A favor for a good friend free of charge," I smiled as we walked out the front door.
Rossi handed the valet his ticket and pressed a hand over mine.
"What about a favor for a favor?" He asked. Soon the valet was back with Rossi's car and Rossi opened the door then helped me inside.
"A favor for a favor? What did you have in mind?" I asked as Rossi slid in the driver side.
"I think you need a companion too," Rossi smirked.
Suddenly my smile fell slightly. He was right aside from him, my family, and my 2 best friends. I didn't talk to anyone. It's a lonely life as an escort. Woe men take their money and leave. I am always the companion.
"Okay ill do it, just send me his number and I can-" I started talking swiftly to get this over with.
"I need your help with one more thing," he interrupted as he pulled up in front of my house. "This one's for me."
"I'm always willing to help you, Babbo," I smiled warmly as his nickname slipped from my lips.
"Your father would be very upset if he heard you call me that," Rossi teased as he let both himself and myself out of the car and began walking me up the driveway to my home.
"My father would be very upset to see you as a Nerc," I smiled back and Rossi laughed.
"That is very true," he laughed. Soon we were standing in front of my front door having to say goodbye. "About why I asked for you, I have a case tomorrow, we're flying to Hawaii. I need your consult."
"I see. As I said anything for you," I smiled. "So I just need to be close to my phone, yes?"
"Actually id like it if you came with me. We might need you in real time, just in case," Rossi smiled.
"What time do I need to be ready?" I asked.
"I will pick you up at 7 A.M have a bag packed and ready," Rossi said before kissing both my cheeks. "Ciao mio caro, Ci vediamo domani."
I smiled and pulled him into a large hug, "Ci vediamo domani. Ti voglio bene Babbo."
"Ti voglio bene anch’io," Rossi replied and kissed the top of my head before heading down back to his car. "Stay safe tesoro."
"Wait, what's my new client's name?" I yelled standing from the door.
"My unit chief Aaron Hotchner. You'll see him tomorrow."
"Thank you."
I watched him take off then quickly put my key in the door and walked in. The house was dark and quiet as always. I had such a large house and lived alone. I made my way up the stairs and patted a hello pat to my pit bull Thor. He barked happily at me and followed me to my bedroom. I packed a bag for at least a week and got ready for bed. I have an early morning tomorrow.

Author’s note: This is the second post of the Young Justice Head Canon second post that I made on my Tumblr Archive Blog.
Plus I am going to do a playlist post on what is on Virgil’s playlist here & my personal blog.
Part 1: https://aggold15hi01.tumblr.com/post/694634628292722688/young-justice-head-canon-2nd-post-part-1
~When it comes to traveling: Cassie always wanted to travel to South Korea ever since how gets excited about anything with South Korea as she also adds Japan as well as Spain, France: Italy; Greece and New Zealand plus Australia (Mainly she wants to go to Queensland and Gold Coast); Brazil and Mexico while Virgil wants to go to Greece, France: Italy; Argentina: Singapore: Malaysia and Oman as well as United Arab Emirates (He didn't want to choose there because of all of the wealth; glitz and glam; mostly to explore what does UAE looks like); South Africa (He would love to go to Cape Town) and Azerbaijan and Croatia plus Antigua and Barbuda.
~Virgil sometimes loves going to the beach in Hawaii; especially whenever he is in Hawaii; either with his family of his dad and his sister, his friends (Yes, not just only Cassie; it could be everybody else on either Traci; Jaime, Bart: Ed; Victor, Tim and Stephanie--mostly it is with Cassie) or even on his own presence; he always love going to a beach in Hawaii.
~During Halloween; Cassie remembers how she did have an idea of dressing up as a genie from one of her favorite My Scene movie Masquerade Madness where Delancey did dressed up as a genie and although she may had planned to dress up the genie from the Masquerade Madness several times; however it didn't ended up happening that is until when she arrives to the University of Hawaii where on Halloween day; she finally gets the chance to dress up as the genie from the My Scene movie "Masquerade Madness" as Virgil did mostly wear an Aloha Shirt (Or a Hawaii shirt); a pair of jeans and having a fake lei (Garland) around his neck to sport a simple costume yet to also represent Hawaii as well.
~Both of them are a big fan of the University of Hawaii American football Team as well as the Super Bowl; Virgil is a big fan of the Seattle Seahawks while Cassie is a fan of the Miami Dolphins.
~Virgil is a big fan of music; he sometimes play really loud music from his iPod where he always blast his music out loud sometimes whenever he is cleaning or making meals for both Cassie and V himself; people would think he is crazy for both blasting the music from his iPod so loud yet having to disrupt the neighbors in the morning with his music blasting from his iPod however after he explained to them about how he loves nothing better than having good music at their apartment (Yes, he and Cassie did share an apartment together as they both pay for the extensions equally.); they truthfully understand and left them (Yes, I am talking about Virgil and Cassie here) alone in their own presence.
~One of Virgil's favorite movie is the Fast and Furious series and whenever he has a conversation with Jaime, Garfield; Victor: Bart; Ed and Tim; he always talks about how he loves the Nissan Skyline GTR 34 that Brian (Played by the late Paul Walker, one of Virgil's favorite actor) had raced from the second movie of the Fast and Furious series.
~One of Virgil’s favorite topic he loves to share with Cassie is about the WNBA; he did remember how when the WNBA Fans did spoke about the WNBA expansion on social media; that's when he spoke to Cassie about how he wants to see a team in either San Francisco (Or Oakland); Toronto: Portland, San Diego: Milwaukee and Hawaii.
~Cassie remembers how streak hairs are so popular; she remembers how she wants pink streaks in her long blonde hair, however her parents especially her mom prohibits her from having pink streaks in her blonde hair as she worries their daughter might go against the school dressing code; Cassie only manages to get the Royal Hawaiian pink streaks in her long blonde hair when she enters the University of Hawaii.
~Virgil did have a Twitch account where he did a lot of the gaming streams that he did; particularly his favorite games are Need for Speed Underground; NBA 2k (Mostly he plays the WNBA 2k) and both of Endless Ocean game. (Speaking of video games; he (Virgil) would love to see a WNBA 2k game.)
~Virgil also loves snorkeling especially after his first experience at the Haunama Bay Beach when they went there with their friends for a first time experience and he pleasantly enjoys it more than he expected.

THE US OWES HAWAIIANS MILLIONS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF LAND - THE US CONGRESS MADE SURE THE DEBT WASNʻT PAID
By Rob Perez, Honolulu Star-Advertiser/ProPublica ProPublica is a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative newsroom. In the 1990s, Hawaii’s two elder statesmen — U.S. Sens. Daniel Inouye and Daniel Akaka — were at the forefront of efforts to ensure that the U.S. compensated Native Hawaiians for ancestral lands taken from them over the years. “Dan Inouye believed that a promise made should be a promise kept,” Akaka, a Native Hawaiian, said in 2012 upon the death of his longtime Senate colleague. But an investigation by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser and ProPublica has found that those same senators voted several times each to support must-pass legislation that included provisions undermining efforts to repay millions of dollars in land debt to Hawaiians. At least six other current and former members of Hawaii’s congressional delegation have supported such legislation one or more times. Between them, Hawaii’s members of Congress voted for at least six laws authorizing the federal government to sell dozens of excess properties to private parties rather than offering them to a Hawaiian trust established to repatriate the land. In one must-pass military spending bill spanning more than 500 pages, lawmakers slipped in a single sentence that helped a handful of nonprofits to acquire the land. In another, they added language that effectively put the need for military housing ahead of the need for housing Hawaiians. The circumvention of the landmark 1995 Hawaiian Home Lands Recovery Act, which has not been previously reported, sent the excess lands to a variety of buyers instead: the Catholic Church; the nonprofit operator of a private school; a developer that intends to sell a site to another company with plans to construct hundreds of private-sector homes there. The transactions mostly involved lands on Oahu, the state’s most populous island, and were executed during a period in which the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, which manages the trust, faced a severe shortage of developable residential land there. About 11,000 Hawaiians are now seeking residential homesteads on Oahu, nearly double what the figure was when the recovery act passed. As the Star-Advertiser and ProPublica reported in December, the trust has only enough land to accommodate less than a third of those homestead-seekers in single-family homes, although it is moving to develop more multi-family housing. Many waitlisters are homeless, and thousands have died without getting a homestead lease. Even as the federal government was selling excess properties to private buyers, it offered only two parcels to the trust over the past decade, according to the news organizations’ investigation. And one was for a remote mountainside location that DHHL rejected because it determined that the property — a former solar observatory — wasn’t suitable for residential use or to lease for other purposes. The findings confirmed the suspicions of Mike Kahikina, who said he had a hunch something was amiss during the eight years he served on the Hawaiian Homes Commission, which decides policy for DHHL. Kahikina joined the commission in 2011, 16 years after the recovery act was signed. Along with eight other commissioners, his job was to help the department get beneficiaries onto residential, ranching and farming homesteads in a timely way — a task DHHL has struggled with historically. By the time he left in 2019, the federal government’s debt was the same size as when he joined. Kahikina said he periodically raised questions with DHHL about the land debt, but they were never satisfactorily answered. The news organizations shared their findings with Kahikina — an Air Force veteran, former state legislator, ordained minister and outreach worker for troubled youth — as he sat outside the West Oahu homestead residence that has been in his family for three generations. With his long salt-and-pepper hair tied back in a bun, Kahikina, who now heads the Association of Hawaiians for Homestead Lands, a statewide nonprofit organization of waitlisters, was stunned as he learned details of the private deals. “You connected the dots for me,” he said, repeating himself to emphasize the point. “It’s like we’re an invisible people.” The investigation relied on federal, state and county records and revealed nearly 40 deals over the past decade involving about 520 acres, all authorized by special language inserted into at least six bills passed by Congress. Beyond the Catholic Church, the developer and the private school operator, the special legislation also allowed land deals with a veterans association, individual homebuyers, another nonprofit private school operator and several religious organizations. Had it not been for that legislation, advocates say the recovery act could have allowed some of these same entities to access the land while benefiting DHHL at the same time. That’s because under the recovery act, DHHL is permitted to sell certain properties for fair market value and use the proceeds for homestead development. The Navy, which had owned the majority of lands involved in the private deals, defended its actions. The special legislation expressed the intent of Congress at the time, and if a new law conflicted with a prior one, the new one applied, according to a spokesperson. “Navy followed the law,” she wrote. The General Services Administration, which plays a key role in federal land disposal, would not address criticisms about bypassing the recovery act. But in response to a letter from one of Hawaii’s two current U.S. senators, a GSA official acknowledged that congressional actions — a reference to the special legislation — allowed some agencies to bypass the recovery act. William J. Aila Jr., who now heads DHHL and the Hawaiian Homes Commission, said the congressionally approved workarounds deprived the trust of promising development opportunities. “It’s a conscious effort to go around the spirit of the recovery act,” Aila said in an interview. “Somebody had to consciously propose legislation.” Aila also said that some of the Oahu parcels that were sold would have been especially appealing to the commission because they were relatively flat and already had roads and utility connections. The high costs of installing such systems have contributed to DHHL’s slow pace in developing homesteads in recent years. “It wasn’t the department that was deprived,” Aila said. “It was the beneficiaries and the people on the waitlist.” Inouye and Akaka were widely known as strong advocates for Native Hawaiians and were credited with helping secure passage of major legislation benefiting Hawaii’s indigenous people, including the recovery act and bills related to health care and education. But extensive reporting on the special legislation did not turn up evidence that Inouye, Akaka or other legislators publicly addressed the potential impact on the debt. For their part, Hawaii’s current U.S. senators vowed to stop the practice of workarounds — even though both voted years earlier for legislation allowing it. They said they hadn’t realized at the time that the trust effectively would be left out the loop. Beneficiaries also said they didn’t know Congress was shortchanging the trust all these years. Many greeted the news with shock. “My heart’s broken,” said Ian Lee Loy, who lives on a Big Island homestead and served on the commission from 2011 to 2013. “The promises to Native Hawaiians continue to go unfilled while the political machine keeps churning and deals are made.” More Land Still Owed The circumvention of the recovery act is only the latest chapter in the struggle by Native Hawaiians to reclaim their lands. The U.S. debt to Hawaiians began accruing in the 1890s, after the U.S.-supported overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy. In 1898, when the U.S. annexed the island chain, it took possession of 1.8 million uncompensated acres of former kingdom land. In 1921, as a form of reparation, Congress adopted the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act, creating a trust of 203,000 acres from among those taken. In promoting the act, Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalaniana‘ole, considered the father of the program, referred to the destitute conditions that many families lived in, particularly those in urban tenements. “That is why the race is fast dying out,” he said in advocating for the bill. “These conditions stare the Hawaiian people in the face.” The new law authorized the government to issue 99-year land leases to people who are at least 50% Hawaiian for $1 annually. In the decades that followed, the state and federal governments took control of thousands of those acres for public purposes — roads, airports, schools, military uses — again paying little or no compensation. The recovery act was specifically meant to compensate for over 1,400 acres the U.S. was using without authorization. Under the act, the trust must be notified whenever most federal land in Hawaii is designated “excess,” or unneeded, by a federal agency. That designation triggers a screening process in which other federal agencies are given an opportunity to claim the land. It also triggers a requirement that the Department of Defense or GSA notify the chair of the Hawaiian Homes Commission of a potential acquisition candidate. If no other federal agency claims the land, the trust has the option to acquire the parcel. If that option is exercised, the land value is deducted from the outstanding debt. The new law kicked off rounds of negotiations about how to settle that debt. Because not all acres are created equal, the two sides focused on land values and eventually signed a landmark agreement to settle all claims: The federal government would transfer to the trust nine properties totaling 960 acres, roughly comparable in value to the 1,400 acres in question. The land was almost all on Oahu and described in news coverage as prime land. At a 1998 signing ceremony at the Hawaii governor’s residence, the Royal Hawaiian Band entertained a crowd of VIP guests. The newly inked settlement was hailed as a turning point for the trust. But things haven’t turned out that way. The trust has not received about 70 acres, including 47 that were removed from the settlement. Two other parcels have yet to be transferred because of a variety of environmental or other complications. DHHL staff last year told the commission that the land debt was worth between $24 million and nearly $34 million in 1998 values, which is how the department tracks the debt. That equates to roughly $39 million to $55 million in today’s dollars. What’s more, some trust beneficiaries — those who are at least half Hawaiian — believe the homesteading program is due more compensation because of the relatively poor quality of the nearly 900 acres it has received thus far. None of that land has been used for residential homesteads, according to DHHL, mostly due to the location or condition of the property or the prohibitive cost of installing infrastructure. The land is largely being used for industrial purposes. The federal government did offer, last year, an 80-acre site in Ewa Beach, a former tsunami warning center surrounded by residential neighborhoods and a golf course, along the West Oahu coastline. Hundreds of homes could be developed there, and DHHL said it accepts the offer. If, as expected, the acquisition goes through, the federal government still would owe DHHL more than $11 million worth of land in today’s dollars. When the Department of the Interior, which oversees the trust for the federal government but doesn’t decide which lands are offered to DHHL, was asked why a balance still remained after 25 years, a spokesman in a December statement gave three reasons. The first was that few excess lands have become available since 2000. The second was that the trust declined several offerings because of contamination or other concerns. And the third? The impact of the congressional workarounds. Making the Workarounds Explicit Inouye, a decorated Army veteran who lost his right arm during World War II and went on to become a political legend in Hawaii, was a key figure in winning passage of the recovery act. But the new reporting shows that he also played a critical role in the creation of the workarounds. One key example came in the 2000s, when nonprofit organizations near Pearl Harbor unsuccessfully tried to purchase the lands they had long been leasing from the Navy. They turned to Inouye for help. By the late 2000s, Inouye was one of the most powerful members of Congress, eventually becoming chair of the influential Appropriations Committee and the Senate’s president pro tempore, third in line for succession to the U.S. presidency. The nonprofits had built churches, schools and other facilities on the land, and they told his staff they wanted to remain. In interviews, the nonprofits said that after they contacted his office, Inouye in 2009 got language added to the annual military spending bill that enabled the organizations to purchase their leased lands from the Navy for fair market value. Two years later, Inouye added language — a single sentence — to a 566-page spending bill, adding a “clarification of land conveyance” to the 2009 law, specifically exempting those land sales from the recovery act, according to his former chief of staff, Jennifer Sabas. Sabas said in an email that her memory of how the exemption provision came together was fuzzy, but she recalled several lessees had contacted the senator’s office seeking assistance in acquiring the land. Because they had invested so much in those locations over the decades, “he wanted to provide them the opportunity to stay,” Sabas wrote. At the time, Sabas added, Inouye believed other nearby Navy parcels would become available and DHHL could pursue those if interested. But no such offers were made to the trust, according to GSA and Navy records. The Navy told the Star-Advertiser and ProPublica that all the lands covered by that special legislation were acquired by the nonprofits. Through the 2009 and 2011 legislation, six churches, a veterans group and a private school operator purchased more than 20 acres from the Navy between 2013 and 2019, generating roughly $9 million for the federal government, according to public records. That money did not go to the trust. Several of the nonprofits said they were unaware that the land sales had been exempted from the recovery act until they were contacted recently by the Star-Advertiser and ProPublica. Bishop Robert Fitzpatrick of the Episcopal Diocese of Hawaii, which acquired its nearly 3-acre site in 2016 thanks to the special legislation, said that had the diocese known that the trust and its beneficiaries were left out of the process, the church would have reconsidered the purchase. He noted that the church was founded in Hawaii in the 1860s with the aid of the monarchy. “Respecting Hawaiian sovereignty is a core value for us,” he said. Hawaii’s former U.S. Rep. Neil Abercrombie, who voted for the 2009 bill authorizing the land sales, didn’t recall the trust issue being raised at all. “It certainly never occurred to me,” said Abercrombie, who vacated his congressional seat in 2010 to begin a four-year term as governor. “I thought we were doing a good deed.” In addition to the Inouye efforts, one other bill explicitly included a recovery-act exemption. The military spending measure in 2013 authorized the sale of an 11-acre parcel at Navy Hale Keiki School to its nonprofit operator. The exemption language — inserted into the 494-page National Defense Authorization Act — was a copy of what Inouye had put in the 2011 bill, allowing the Navy to convey title to the land before it is “made available for transfer pursuant to the Hawaiian Home Lands Recovery Act.” Robin Danner, chair of the Sovereign Council of Hawaiian Homestead Associations, the largest statewide organization representing those eligible for the homesteading program, blamed Hawaii’s congressional delegation and DHHL for the lost opportunities. She pointed out that DHHL basically has two main federal laws to monitor and said its failure to flag the circumventions was glaring. “This would not have happened if DHHL had been doing its job,” she said. Kahikina, the former commissioner, agreed, saying no one from the agency was aggressively monitoring the situation, enabling the private deals to continue under the radar. Aila, however, pushed back on this point. He said DHHL doesn’t have the staff to monitor all federal legislation, but that it periodically asked GSA about the availability of property. He also pointed out that the recovery act requires the federal government to notify the trust as excess lands become available. A More Indirect Route In addition to the two explicit exemptions, several other pieces of special legislation did not mention the recovery act but had the same end result: The federal government transferred excess lands without offering them to the trust. Many of those acres were in Kalaeloa, part of the region where DHHL has been concentrating development on Oahu in recent years. Close to a dozen other parcels on Maui and the Big Island were in residential neighborhoods. Critics pointed out that the residential quality of the land represented lost opportunities for the trust’s future housing plans. Two of the laws benefitted Hunt Cos., a Texas-based developer that has done Hawaii projects for more than a quarter of a century. Legislation that Congress passed in 1999 and 2006 authorized the Navy to sell or lease land on Oahu to pay for redevelopment of Ford Island, a historic Navy base in Pearl Harbor. Hunt issued a brief statement acknowledging the acquisition of Navy properties but declined to respond to criticisms over the deals. Alan Murakami, who recently retired as an attorney for the Native Hawaiian Legal Corp., a nonprofit advocacy group, drew on history to criticize the property deals. Given that the Navy never properly owned the Kalaeloa lands, it “had no moral right to treat [them] as a piggy bank,” he said. Abercrombie, who as a Hawaii congressman and member of the House Armed Services Committee was a key advocate for the 1999 Ford Island legislation, also questioned the Navy’s actions, saying the law was designed to keep all the land in use for military housing. Once the property was placed for sale without maintaining that use, it should have been offered to the trust, Abercrombie added. “It’s crystal clear the Navy had that obligation,” he said. Asked to respond to the criticisms, the Navy spokesperson said the Ford Island law “speaks for itself.” Quoting from the statute, she noted that it was enacted “for the purpose of developing or facilitating the development of Ford Island.” “A Slap in the Face” Just as the workaround deals were picking up momentum, Bode Kalua, 28, a landscaper who is at least half Hawaiian, applied through DHHL for a residential homestead on Oahu. He wanted a place to call home for the family he planned to eventually start. In 2012, DHHL added him to the waitlist, more than 10,000 spaces from the top. Since then, he’s moved up roughly 700 spots, a pace that will keep him waiting for years. Kalua, now the father of three young kids with a fourth on the way, said the circumventions prolonged the waits for applicants ahead of him. He is renting a home on Oahu’s windward side but, like many other lower-income applicants on the waitlist, he and his family have spent time homeless. And the private deals were made during a period in which DHHL’s residential awards fell to record lows, hitting single digits in recent years, as the Star-Advertiser and ProPublica reported last year. “It’s even worse than just a broken promise,” Kalua said of the workarounds. “It’s like a slap in the face.” Sharon Pua Freitas, 55, who applied for an Oahu residential homestead a year after Kalua, shares his disdain. “It bothers me to my core because that was the land that the United States of America illegally took to begin with,” said Freitas, who is more than 9,000 slots deep on the waitlist and has yet to receive a homestead offer. “Now it’s still in somebody else’s hands.” Senators Vow Change Both of Hawaii’s current U.S. senators have voted for legislation to circumvent the recovery act, but they now say they will take steps to ensure the trust isn’t bypassed going forward. “I won’t defend the circumvention of the recovery act,” Sen. Brian Schatz, chair of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, which deals with Native Hawaiian issues, said in an early March interview. “It’s something that I was just made aware of, and I don’t think it should happen going forward.” Schatz voted for the 2013 military spending bill that included one of the two explicit recovery act exemptions and allows a sale to the operator of Hale Keiki school near Pearl Harbor. “I will scour every must-pass bill for anything like this to make sure it doesn’t happen again,” he said. Sen. Mazie Hirono, who voted for the 2011 legislation with the exemption sentence, said she too was unaware of the implications of the measures for DHHL. “It’s clear there’s a gap here that shouldn’t have existed,” she said in an interview. Prompted by the news organizations’ inquiry, she recently wrote to the heads of the DOD and GSA, the federal agencies required to notify the trust of excess lands, expressing alarm that the state agency wasn’t being properly notified. A senior Pentagon official wrote back to Hirono, saying his office would review the military’s processes for disposing of property in Hawaii “to ensure each is fully consistent” with the recovery act and the 1998 settlement agreement. He also named a liaison within the department to deal directly with DHHL. GSA, which did not comment about the news organizations’ findings, told Hirono that the agency would work with the trust to resolve outstanding recovery-act claims — an apparent continuation of the status quo. “As noted in your letter, GSA is aware of specific congressional actions that have also allowed some landholding agencies to bypass the HHLRA to achieve other goals,” Gianelle Rivera, an associate administrator, wrote in her April 19 letter to the senator. Beneficiaries, lawmakers and others say the best way to prevent the circumvention problem is twofold: Don’t pass legislation allowing that to happen and make sure the federal government notifies DHHL when any excess lands become available.

all the days in between
this was a good exercise while it lasted (for two days)
i don’t know how i failed to write about 09.24, the day i woke up late and got my sideburns waxed at the e.w.c. in chelsea (i think the appt was at either noon or 1) and then i was reading a bit and working a bit at the sbux down the street from the e.w.c. when i received a text from sonya (who is also currently texting me about my impending return to new york; more on that later) asking if i wanted to pregame a party at kenka on st mark’s b/w second and third. i said of course, and i finished my reading and my work and i went home and i realized i had barely eaten! so i ran over to cafe social 68 on ave a and got a peanut butter smoothie and then ran home to change into something appropriate for the night, which turned out to be that perfect off-the-shoulder midi dress that made its first appearance on my second anniversary with my ex (how did we date for three years after that???) and its second appearance in hawaii and its third appearance at brunch with ash and gabby the previous week (a brunch to which i was exactly 15 minutes late, a miracle considering that the restaurant was on the west side and that i had to turn around twice because i had forgotten (1) a mask and (2) my phone, and it was a perfect day because the brunch was long and the sun was out and the sky was clear and i sat in my favorite spot in the courtyard reading discipline and punish and then i met vidu for a drink at fanelli and then her internet friends who work at restaurants that shall not be named showed up and one of them talked about how her sister who was about to start a biglaw job paying 215k a year was sleeping on her couch and refusing to move) (gabby is dead; she died at the end of january; fentanyl) and as i had the previous week i wore a denim jacket over the dress. at kenka we were seated across from a sex doll display and we ordered so many $6 pitchers of asahi. and noodles which were shared. and i talked to someone whom i had never before perceived in my life but who went to my undergrad and who graduated the same year as me and who was from the same town as my ex and knew my ex slightly and knew my ex’s best friend from that town better. i also perceived dev’s facial hair for the first time because it was the first time i had seen him without a mask. it suited him! i was surprised. as we made our way from kenka to the NQR to the party i talked extensively to sonya (whom i had made up my mind to dislike because before i knew her, at orientation, she was walking past where i was standing and was like “can you move?” in what i thought was an unnecessarily rude tone. now i know that’s just how she talks! it’s funny... she’s the same height and has the same voice and mannerisms as one of my best friends from my hometown) about our one professor who was very cute and about his wife who was rumoredly very cool and beautiful and about dating in nyc. when we exited the subway in dt bk we were best friends! we stopped to pick up drinks and sonya and i bought the same ciders. when we entered the apartment building (which we had some trouble finding, having probably had too many of the $6 pitchers at kenka) we ran into priti who was the alum who had also told me about the party and told me that i would meet great people there... it was 8pm on a friday and she had come straight from work [n.b. as a first-year associate] and she said that that was earlier than normal. at first it seemed like there were so many people in this little apartment but there was nobody in the living room so i hung out there with sonya and priti while priti ate the pizza that had been sitting untouched on the coffee table. then we went up to the roof, bringing candles and other sources of light because it was dark. sonya and i sat on a blanket with two second-years and they talked to us about school. (during this time, unbeknownst to me until later, dev was standing near us and engaging in an unsatisfying conversation with someone who made fun of his name and turned out to be the president of the federalist society.) the yankees were playing (beating) the red sox and some people i knew were watching at a bar in greenwich village and at some point i decided that i wanted to be there instead of on this roof in downtown bk. so i left and sonya left with me because she was also meeting people in the village. we laughed as we tried to pronounce hoyt-schmemerhorn. schmermerhorn??? and we talked more about our dating lives and we parted ways at w 4th. i texted this person i didn’t like that much at the time and like somewhat less now to see if people were still at the bar and they were (but he himself was leaving). the people at the table when i walked in: the girl i had gone to a yankees game with the previous weekend (whom i had met much earlier through the groupchat), a boy with a stentorian voice who was cheering for the red sox, a boy whom i had met in my reading group the previous week, a very quiet girl, two or three other quiet boys whom i didn’t perceive much. i went to the bathroom and then when i came back i got a white claw and a shot but i was already quite drunk so i’m not sure how much of the white claw i had. when the game was over we left, and as we passed the dorms the group dwindled to the yankees girl, the reading group boy, and two of the quiet boys.

Hello there, I love blogs and your writing. If you have the time, can you please write about the MC (fem reader) where she accidentally summons Stitch himself, befriends him, Stitch took an instant liking to her, with the TW guys becoming jealous to the new familiar and Stitch causing all sorts of mischief and pranks towards them. Thank you, keep up the good work and stay safe
Ohmaigawd. When I first read your request, I was honestly shocked! OwO
I literally could not have made the connection between Twisted Wonderland and Stitch at all! When I started writing, I did so many research! Forgive me, but, I have not seen any episode nor movie related to Stitch during my entire childhood, hence the research ahaha
One note though, I cannot make you summon Stitch as he already is a being on his own. However, I can make him appear in Twisted Wonderland :’)
Anyway, I hope this story lives up to your expectations! Thank you for requesting and have a lovely day!
What if Stitch appeared in Twisted Wonderland? (Ft. Grim, Ace, Deuce, Sebek, Jack, Epel and Crowley) (Twisted Wonderland crossover w/Lilo and Stitch)
It was a quiet night at Night Raven College, no unnecessary arguments, no drama involving dorm leaders nor their members and most importantly, no fights occurring.
Or so you thought.
After having dinner, you and Grim went back to your Ramshackle Dorm after saying your goodnights to your friends.
“Fgnaaaaa! That deluxe-katsudon was the best dinner I’ve ever had!” Grim said as you put him on top of your head. It was his go-to spot for relaxing.
“You always say that to anything you eat.” You said, laughing. “You should cut down on all the extensive eating, you don’t want to have a certain teacher order you to run laps more than usual now do you?” You continued, a slight smirk on your face as you felt slight shivering on top of your head.
“Ahaha, you know what? Maybe I’ll skip lunch tomorrow.” The creature said to you and you shook your head.
“I told you to pay attention to your diet, not skip out on meals. It’s unhealthy.” You said as you opened the door to your humble Ramshackle Dorm, Grim jumping from your head and went inside. Before you went in yourself, you took a look outside and saw that the sky was clear and the moon shone upon you with no distractions. You felt a slight breeze blow through your hair and decided that it was a perfect weather to take a walk.
“Grim, I’m going to take a walk! You can go to sleep without me!” You yelled into the dorm before closing the door behind you and went on your walk.
You weren’t far from the dorm, in fact, you were taking your walk on the small field behind the building, enjoying the peace and quiet for once. As you looked up to the sky again, you noticed the stars that littered the sky. You took out your phone and took a picture of the night sky. However, a certain star caught your eye.
It was rather large to be a star? You thought it must be because the star was relatively close. You almost shrugged it off, keyword: almost. You would’ve went on your merry way if it wasn’t for a certain fact about the star.
It was getting bigger, it looked as if it was right above you. Once your mind had taken this fact into realization, your legs got the message and began to move out of the way. You ran to a few trees and hid behind one of them. A crash was heard soon after, it was rather loud, Grim would have probably heard it if it wasn’t for the fact that he was asleep. You peeked your head out from behind the tree to see what had happened, but all you could see was smoke.
Your mind had told you to get back into the dorm and call Crowley but your curiosity got the better of you. You began to walk towards the smoke to see what had crashed. You craned your neck, trying to get a better view when all of a sudden a part of the crash had flung open. You were taken aback and took a few steps back, fearing for whatever would emerge from the thing.
However, the only thing that emerged is a blue koala? Was it even a koala? You weren’t sure. Your whole body froze as it looked at you.
But what scared you the most was the fact he had 4 arms.
AND 4 GUNS?!
The creature then pointed the guns at you and your arms immediately flailed up to shield your face.
“D-Don’t shoot! I wasn’t going to hurt you!” You yelled, hoping that it would just go away. The creature just looked at you, guns still pointed at you. However, you noticed that it was slightly trembling, so you slowly lowered your arms.
“Umm… Hi?” You waved to it, you weren’t sure if it even understood you. But it replied.
“Hi?” Your eyes widen and slowly crouched down to its level. The creature still had its guns pointed at you. You just held up both your hands as if to show you were harmless.
“C-Can you understand me?” You asked and the creature nodded, but then shook its head.
“Ah… I’ll take that you do understand but you aren’t quite sure on how to speak it.” The creature nodded furiously.
“Interesting… Do… Do you have a name?” You asked and slowly approached the creature. The creature still stood his ground.
“S-Stitch. My name is Stitch.” It said and slowly lowered its weapons, slowly realizing that you meant no harm.
“That’s very good, where are you from?” You kept the conversation going. You were trying to let it relax and know that it has no need to be defensive. You sat down and looked at it.
“Ha… Hawaii.” You nodded with a smile.
“I assume you’re a boy?” He nodded.
“Ah… I see… I should introduce myself too.” You said to him. “My name is (Y/N) (L/N). Nice to meet you.” The koala-like alien blinked at you before nodding.
“(Y/N)?” He asked you.
“Yes, (Y/N), that’s my name.” You smiled to the creature, it also gave you a smile back. Stitch and you looked at the crashed craft and could already tell that it was unusable. Sighing, you returned your attention back to the creature, you used your hand to cup his head to look at you.
“Say, Stitch, how about you stay for the night? We could go find help first thing in the morning.” You offered and you saw his eyes light up. Stitch nodded and you smiled.
“Alright, come, let’s get a good night’s rest.” With that, you and Stitch walked back to your Ramshackle Dorm. You let Stitch sleep on the bed while you slept on the sofa. Grim was already asleep on the bed so he didn’t hear the crash happening. You let Stitch shimmy himself into the bed and tucked the two creatures in, after doing so, only then you went to sleep on the couch.
You were awoken the next morning by a scream.
“FGNAAAAAAAAA!”
Your eyes jolted awake and you saw Grim running towards you and away from an already awoken Stitch.
“(Y/N)! THERE’S A MONSTER IN OUR BED!!!” Grim yelled, jumping into your arms. Your eyes travelled to Stitch only to see him looking kind of sad. You just let out a small smile.
“Grim, he’s not a monster, his name is Stitch and he crash landed on our yard yesterday. I’m going to take him to see Crowley in a short moment.” You said, petting Grim to soothe him.
“Does that make him an alien?” Grim asked you and you shrugged.
“I guess.” You said, letting Grim go and walking over to Stitch, who was now curled up into a ball. You then bend down to his level.
“Good morning Stitch, I’m sorry you got scared a moment ago, but this is Grim! He won’t hurt you, he was just surprised to see you.” You said and nudged Grim over.
“I am the Great Grim, the most powerful mage in Twisted Wonderland!” You rolled your eyes at his introduction.
“Grim? (Y/N)?” Stitch asked and you nodded.
“Yep, that’s us. Now, let me just go prepare for the day and we can go find help for you.” You smiled at Stitch and left Grim and Stitch in your room. You got dressed and had Grim resting on your head while you hugged Stitch in your arms. As you did, Stitch somehow morphed his extra 2 arms back into his body, this made you jump a little.
“So, you can morph those arms in and out?” You asked the blue creature and he nodded. “Wow, that’s very surprising. Well, time to go.”
With that, the 3 of you set off to find the bad fashion sensed and lazy headmaster. When you arrived at the headmaster’s office, Stitch had hidden himself behind your legs. You giggled and told him not to worry and went in the office together with Stitch and Grim.
Truth be told, the headmaster had let out a girlish scream when you brought Stitch into his view. The 3 of you were taken aback but the headmaster had quickly calmed down and asked you what had happened. After explaining the situation to Crowley, he decided that he will have students from Ignihyde Dorm to check out the crash and see if they can help, meanwhile, you get to have Stitch stay as your pet since you were a beast tamer after all. But in return, you must keep an eye on him 100% of the time and not allow any nonsense to happen at all.
Pfft, I think most nonsense happened because of you Crowley.
“Well, looks like we’re stuck together for now Stitch!” You said to the blue koala. “Now, you two better behave well in class later on.” You said and the three of you went to class.
After this time with Stitch, you would be lying if you said you weren’t attached to the him. Grim and him actually chatted here and there and became fast friends really quick.
Whispers and gossiping were heard once you’ve stepped foot into your classroom. You felt slightly uncomfortable, Stitch saw this and bared his fangs at the students who were gossiping about you and Stitch. Grim shot a few nasty looks here and there but nothing much.
“(Y/N), I don’t mean to be rude but, what is that?” Deuce asked you once you sat down at your usual spot, between him and Ace.
“This little cutie, is Stitch!” You said happily to the two of them.
“He’s the most adorable little creature I’ve ever seen!” You added, hugging Stitch closer to you. In return, the little blue koala-like creature snuggled close to you too.
Little did you know, a few sounds ‘tchs’ were heard from the two Heartslabyul boys beside you. However, Stitch heard them. Oh, this little creature knew what was going on when he looked up to see two jealous slightly annoyed faces looking down at him. And with that, he had concocted a plan to see how far he could annoy them.
They boy’s eyes widen as they saw Stitch had a semi-evil smile on his face as you giggled and kissed his nose. The boys were shocked! A few veins of theirs popping too! Low grumbles and mumbles were heard from the boys but you payed no attention to them as Professor Trein had walked in and began teaching.
As the bell rung, signaling that it was time for lunch. You stretched your body, arching your back after having it hunched over a table for some time. You then looked down to see a sleeping Grim and a semi-asleep Stitch. You let out a soft giggle and woke the both of them up.
“Grim, Stitch, come on, let’s go get some lunch.” And the two creatures woke up.
“Fgnaaaa! It’s eating time already? Come on, let’s go!” Grim said excitedly.
“Jeez, Grim is sure as hyper as ever.” Deuce commented.
“He better not steal my sandwich again…” Ace added and you let out a small laugh.
“Don’t worry, I’ll keep an eye on him.” You said, winking to the two boys. They blushed slightly as you walked with the two creatures to the cafeteria. The boys followed behind but was met with Stitch sticking out his tongue at them behind your back.
Cue more veins popping and potentially a bad boy Deuce breaking out.
Nevertheless, the two Heartslabyul boys had scowls on their faces and kept mumbling to one another. Somethings about ‘that little alien thinks he’s so high and mighty’ and ‘how dare he have more treatment from (Y/N) than us’ were thrown here and there from them.
When you arrived at the cafeteria, Grim jumped from your head and ran in a beeline towards the line for buying food. Ace and Deuce accompanied him as you and Stitch went to find your other friends. You saw them sitting at a table when Epel had waved you over. You smiled, waved back and head towards their table.
Jack, Epel and Sebek sat and chatted when you came over, and all their eyes landed on Stitch. You noticed that and began to explain what happened last night. Once you finished, Ace, Deuce and Grim were back with their food.
“So, he’s an alien?” Jack asked and you nodded.
“Yes, and he is the most adorable creature ever! How can you not love him?!” You let out a small squeal and once again hugging Stitch closer to you.
Multiple and I mean MULTIPLE ‘tchs’ were heard. You were too busy giving Stitch attention that you didn’t hear a single thing.
Remember when I said Stitch knew about this jealousy the boys had for him?
With a small smirk on his face, he kissed your cheek.
Innocently.
Jaws were dropped to the ground, eyes were wide open like saucers, and the most terrible thing was,
Sandwiches and food were squeezed until they were either like a thin piece of paper or entirely inedible.
FOOD WAS WASTED. HOW COULD THEY?! QwQ
You were shocked to have Stitch kiss your cheek. You looked back at the blue koala-like creature only to see him giving you the most adorable puppy eyes ever!
“Awwww! I love you too!” You said and hugged Stitch tightly and him hugging you back, tightly as ever.
“You see what we had to deal with?!” Ace whisper-yelled to everyone and they all nodded. Well, everyone except Grim. The little furball was just happy he got his sandwich and sat there, eating happily.
You guys were chatting and eating, with the occasional glaring between Stitch and the boys of course, when Crowley came up to your table, informing you that the dorm members of Ignihyde managed to fix Stitch’s aircraft and even upgraded it.
Truth be told, you felt happy and sad at the same time. Sure, it might mean Stitch gets to go home, but it also meant that you’ll have to say goodbye to him. It might have been only a day, but you’ve grown attached to the creature and now it’s time to say goodbye.
You had stick on a smile on your face and hid your true feelings inside.
“That’s great! Well, Stitch, let’s go and see your new aircraft!” You said to Stitch and all of you went back to Ramshackle Dorm to send Stitch off.
When you arrived, the aircraft in front of you didn’t look too much different when you first saw it, but it did have a few tweaks here and there. You let Stitch inspect his new ride, checking for anything that might go wrong again before taking off.
You were painfully quiet, which didn’t go unnoticed by the boys and Grim.
When Stitch had finished inspecting, he gave you a big smile and nodded furiously, telling you that everything was okay and that he will be going shortly. You gave him a smile back.
“Well, looks like you’re going home.” You said to him and gave him a hug. He hugged you back tightly and did something very surprising.
“Ohana.” Said the blue creature. You were puzzled.
“What?” You asked Stitch as you pulled away from the hug.
“Ohana means family. (Y/N), you took me in even when you knew I wasn’t normal. You, Grim and everyone were friendly to me and didn’t try to hurt me in any way. You even helped me in this unfamiliar world and didn’t push me away. That’s why, you’re all family to me.”
“You’re my ohana.”
Tears streamed down your face when Stitch said those words. A genuine smile had formed on your face and Grim was right beside you, bawling his eyes out as well.
“Thanks Stitch, you’re ohana too.” You said as you and Grim hugged Stitch together.
The boys at the back were holding in their tears. How could they think that this sweet little creature tried to take you away from them? They felt like as if a gun struck their hearts with guilt for wanting to hurt Stitch even though he only wants someone to guide him through this unfamiliar world.
You then pulled away from the hug and let Stitch get into is aircraft. Once the engine is up, you stood back and waved goodbye to him. He smiled and waved goodbye to you too before ascending into the sky, going back to his home.
The boys came up and comforted you as you wiped your tears away.
“Listen, (Y/N), we know Stitch meant a lot to you…” Deuce started but you just shook your head.
“Don’t worry, even though my relationship with Stitch was strong, I still have a lot of ohana here.” You said and smiled to them, in return they smiled to you as well.
“Yanno, I don’t mean to ruin the mood, but, VARGAS’ CLASS STARTS IN 4 MINUTES.” Grim said to everyone and you all laughed.
“Well, we better hurry if we don’t want to get punished. I remember the last time it was Sebek and Ace who got punished and their punishments were to run 200 laps and do 300 push-ups.” You giggled at the memory and the boy’s faces paled.
“What’re we waiting for? LET’S GO!” Ace yelled.
And so the 7 of you ran as fast as you could to get to class in time.
