Surprise trading in Scarlet and Violet is literally ruined at this point, not gonna lie.
I’ve been breeding a lot of Pawniards in hope that I’d get a shiny (and for fun, I guess), and I’ll surprise trade all of them away. For every like ten or so Pawniards I’ll trade away, I’ll get three or four hacked shinies with the website names.
It’s really not cool, and I hope that Nintendo cuts down on it soon.

In case anyone's wondering, yes, you can in fact get hacked shiny 6IV pokemon
This is so funny to me, I've never gotten a wonder traded hacked shiny. I have gotten a hacked shiny legendary in Moon, but that was through GTS
FYI these pokemon are not legit, do not trust people with links for names, and do not trust a wonder traded shiny legendary

I've also been playing this hack the past several days, called Emerald Crest, there's tons of modes and it's really fun for a casual playthru! :D (As for the ridiculous levels, I just got to Lilycove, the boss trainers aren't too far behind me, but I've only grinded in pretty much the beginning off the playthru since you can choose to reward double EXP.)
I love playing randomizer modes just to see all the crazy Pokemon I get, that Charizard is actually my starter (as a Charmander tho), and came with Dragon Energy. I gave him the Dragonium Z for extra nuking power since the move is already ridiculous.
I think the Mr Rime is a full-odds shiny, but not 100% sure on it. I named him "Legendary?" because it took a ridiculous amount of Pokeballs despite being at low health, like 20 of them :"D

last night i tried doing wonder trades and wandering around the wild area in pokemon shield for the first time, and i saw NO ONE. there was a solid 20 minutes where i was like "oh my god..? is there seriously nobody?? i know the game is a few years old but i thought there would be somebody..... (sad hamster violin music) . .. .." turns out it was searching locally and not actually online RHUEGEHJDHD

With a 100 chain, I found this beauty after a few resets of accidently breaking my chain. A possible male name would have been 'Malcolm' or 'Caretaker' but since those names are associated with a spoiler character for 6 Days a Sacrifice and the XDaS/Chzo Mythos fandom has only a handful of people and a few ferrets in it, the reference will be hard to get for those not familiar with the series. (still wouldn't have stopped me, since the brain rot for that fandom still remained from my high school years.)
Next on the list is shiny male Espurr and a shiny Eevee with an accompying Eevee squad.

Was thinking about that vid actually and wanted to share it just in case anyone needed it! It focuses on legitimately obtaining Pokemon, but has some really useful and obscure tidbits that you may have forgotten about, and will be lost to time once the shop goes down.
Such as:
> PokéBank will become free to use once the eShop goes down, HOWEVER. PokéTransporter will NOT be available to anyone who decides to wait until PokéBank is free if they haven't downloaded it/subbed to Bank previously. Good news is, a Bank subscription is only $5 and even though you can't add funds with a credit card or eShop card at this point, there's still a way to link funds using your Nintendo account (vid goes over this detail!)
> Obtaining the Dream Radar Therian forms of Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus (also grants them their Hidden Abilities)
> Easily obtained Gen 1/2 Hidden Ability Pokemon via Transporter, plus moves exclusive to those gens (cannot be legitimately learned in newer games)
> Catchable Celebi in Crystal Version
> Mega Glalie (or Mega Steelix depending on your 3DS's region) from the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire demo that can be transferred to the full games
> Ash Greninja (has the ability Battle Bond) from the Sun and Moon demos that can be transferred to the full game
The eShop is shutting down this month! March 27th! So if any of this interests you, make sure you have everything!

Hey PSA for Pokemon Scarlet/Violet players:
PLEASE STOP TRADING HACKED SHINY POKEMON IN SURPRISE TRADE.
Not only does it suck because the pokemon can't be used for online play- you're actively harming other players.
People have recently brought pokemon they didn't know were hacked to tournaments because they got them through surprise trade and they got banned for doing so.
If you get a shiny hacked pokemon (easiest way to tell is if OT is something like Monforge.com or RioluHQ.com) release it. It's safer for you if you do. It's against pokemon's TOS and there's always a risk of them just disappearing from your HOME boxes one day or you getting banned for having them.
This wouldn't be such a massive issue if gamefreak actually put into place the same type of hack detection for surprise trade they do for every other bit of online play and tournaments but they can't be bothered to. I've had to release 3 hacked pokemon so far in trying to hatch a shiny because people keep trading them.
If you get one: Take the ability patch from it (the item itself is safe). And release it. It's the best way to keep other unknowing players safe.

Surprise trading can be very funny sometimes
I got a charmander from someone calling themself dad, which is just a funny image in my mind that my trainer's absent father decides to just send pokemon every once in a while.
