Things Someone Wants Hoovered

My mom always took us to the local library as kids. I got kicked out of story hour, because I wouldn’t keep my clothes on. Done things never change.

In Kindergarten, I checked out Fahrenheit 451. The librarian asked me to prove that I could read it by pointing to the word “refrigerator,” which I read to her. I read that book again many years later, upon which it meant the same thing to me.

You should not have to log in to use public Internet at a public library.
