It’s frustrating and completely soul crushing complaining about being bad at something or having your progression be so much slower than everyone else’s and then having someone roll up like “well if you practice as long as me you won’t be bad anymore, checkmate, it’s your own fault for not working hard enough” and then the amount of time they’ve been at it is either the same of yours, significantly less, or they haven’t even been alive for as long as you’ve been working at it 💀 like. just let people be upset that they aren’t good at things and can’t get better no matter how much they try without taking it as a personal attack that you need to crush them down even harder for. And also stop automatically assuming how much work someone does based on their skill level because all you do by that is confirm what they’re saying?

being told by the doctors that we probably shouldn’t travel until mid april ruined like - my entire month 🙃 i was so hopeful and excited, i’d even packed up spring/summer clothes to send to the states via mail but now :) i have to unpack :) because i will need spring clothes :)

i don’t fit here and it’s so obvious. even by the food in the fridge and the type of handsoap they use i don’t really belong.

I feel you about New Year’s Eve, I feel like everyone has the pressure to celebrate it but if you don’t feel to it’s ok to just stay home and relax !! I think that’s what I’ll do this year. There’s already too many stressful things, I don’t need to add one more.

Oh, I don't celebrate it! I don't feel any pressure to do so either. It's not something I care about. You're right though that no one should feel pressured to celebrate it.

Personally I just hate that it's so damn loud - at least here in Germany. Last year my neighbor had his music on so loud that I couldn't watch a movie in my living room cause I didn't hear anything. And then all the dumb fireworks.
