Additional reflection from my evening:

The guy from last night looked at me in a way I haven’t been looked at before. Or rather, that I haven’t noticed. Maybe because I was sober and clear headed but he looked at me like he was lucky to be there. Being perceived has a tangible feeling. Someone intently looking at you and admiring - taking in the whole of you, felt very .. different.

I feel like other guys in a moment of sexual tension/hookup have this look in their eye of “predator vs prey” which sounds horrible but don’t know how else to describe. People I have been with don’t look at me like they’re lucky, they look at me like they like to fuck. Last night was different. It’s so subtle, yet so noticeable. It’s stuck in my brain. To be actively appreciated and admired and not just used is .. new haha.
