“Mu Qing is too logical for his own good” is such a real problem that he deals with and as tragic as it makes his life I also think it’s really funny when someone is accusing him of something and instead of telling them to shut up or leave him alone the first thing he does is pull out the 95 fucking theses detailing every single thing wrong with their argument WITH historical evidence and additional considerations from scholarly psychology articles, MLA format works cited and completely annotated. truthfully while i enjoy billford and fiddauthor i think they’re much more fun as like. lightning in a bottle moments. weird built up tension that neither side acknowledges. but It’s There.

kyle and rex is an absurdist drama set in a stagnant afterlife where everyone lies, cheats, manipulates, and hurts each other in order to gain political power and admiration from the public.

with characters constantly haunted by ghosts of the past, trying to stay on top of the food chain despite constant betrayals and having their secrets held up above their heads, comes back kyle, from his long stay back as a guiding spirit on earth, to take back reigns of the throne in the inbetween. though much like everyone else, hes got a long list of dirty laundry that many are aching to reveal. there are no real friends here.

HELLO IM BACK to talk more music theory with my school president because i can't be stopped-

okay so with our skyy 2 came a new (fantastic!) song for our silly little musical, and with it came this tweet from gemini:

back when prom night aired i made a rather long post about each of the individual singing talents of the boys live. gemini is an incredible singer, and i love that msp live and now our skyy 2 have both given him the opportunities to sing more for my school president.

so in my previous post i talked about how gem has this really wonderful falsetto, and in this newest release, "love love love", it is nowhere to be found. instead he's singing mostly in his full voice - all those high notes! - which is what fourth did all night at prom night. and while obviously this new track isn't live - it's a recording, and edited, and definitely had multiple takes and versions to choose from and mix together - i want to point out what gemini says about it, that "it was fun to sing until there was no sound"

for those of you who don't know, a singer's range is the lowest they can sing while still making sound, to the highest they can sing while still making sound. i talk about gemini's individual talents with falsetto more in the other post, but what falsetto is, essentially, is singing on top of your vocal chords. it still uses them, but in a way that doesn't cause too much strain for your voice and also creates a breathier sound. falsetto allows you to sing higher than your "full voice" range, and everyone can do it, and train themselves to do it. if you've ever stubbed your toe and yelped really high-pitched, that was likely in falsetto.

so basically what gemini means when he says it was fun to sing until there was no sound, is simply that he was singing really high in his full voice - and to do that without cracking or going silent is really hard - you have to sing LOUD (and clearly, he is). it takes a lot of energy and breath support (fun fact! this is why jogging and cardio are good for singers!). i wouldn't be surprised if recording this song was really tough for gemini!! i honestly doubt he would be able to pull it off live in his full voice (falsetto absolutely, but it would sound quite different!), though tbh im very impressed by his ability to pull it off at all. it's SUCH a fun song, and his voice sounds SO good in it! congratulations on nabbing some really amazing singers gmmtv - they are the best you've got for real

Also, re: a rb from this morning, and this is the last I’m going to mention it—

I do think there’s something to be said that the gaza gfm spam started up around the time that the US election posts on this website really picked up.

We know, with support from staff and empirical evidence, that spam blogs with gfms have been a thing. We also know that there were psyops last election. Again, not up for debate.

This is not to say that every OP with a gfm or posting about the election or Gaza or anything related is a scam/psyop, but we do definitively know these things have happened before and that tumblr as a community was preyed on. I’m also not saying don’t reblog or post asks or donate, but… the fact is, unless you personally have met another user, you cannot be 100% certain they are who they say they are. Just, be cautious, verify things independently, and if they tell you to give them money or not vote or be mad with no recourse, maybe… look a little closer and think about whether you really want to platform them.
