Some mock neutral sprites for Diamond Cookie in the au’s story mode.

Similar to Pure Vanilla Cookie in the base game, Diamond Cookie lost his memories during the Dark Flour War. The shattering of his Soul Jam caused most of the rock candy in his hair to just straight disappear and turn to a darker blue cream. The rock candy is still in his dough, however.

He’s now a simple village tinkerer, scientist, and adventurer post-war, and remembers absolutely nothing before he was found by the people of the village, which is nestled among the mountains and not too far from the ruins of his old kingdom. His new name is Blue Glass Cookie, due to the villagers mistaking the last bit of Diamond Candy in his hair for blue sugar glass. They tend to think he’s more fragile than he actually is (which is not at all.)

Now it’s the Light of Perseverance’s job to get his memories back and make sure he doesn’t do anything stupid in the process.

Currently making sprites like these and Ancients decors whilst I curbstomp artblock in a subway.

What if Saiki and Kaidou switched places? What if Saiki was the one who killed Retsuko and Kaidou had to work through the trauama of losing Saiki? Would he be able to work through it quicker? How would he react to the next two cases? And how would he be able to prevent Hayasaka's suicide attempt in Chapter 4?

The funny thing is, I've already answered this question before in this post here!

However in that post I don't go into much detail about what Kaidou would get up to in chapter 4 so I'll give a small run-down of what I think:

I feel like Kaidou, at this point, would have more energy to want to do more dangerous things like the VR world, seeing as they would have a potential beneficial pay-off to their investigation on Nesos. When he gets the hallucinations (probably being Saiki, some friends and some family members), with his past use of 'playing pretend' we shall say, he either gets caught up in the grief, or actually manages to see past it. Or, funny third option, play alongside the hallucinations.

And you do bring up an interesting point about the whole thing between Hayasaka and Saiki, since his interference was riding on the use his powers (that I can know freely talk about since ch5 daily exists). However, I would either change the person saving him to either Kurumada or Brian, or perhaps Kaidou would've stepped in with his own methods, aka lunging towards Hayasaka and tackling him to the ground 👍(maybe Hayasaka would receive minor injury in this scenario)

But like I said in that post, I don't think Kaidou would have much effect on the chapter 4 case. He might provide Latte with a safer alibi if the two were enjoying some mother-son moments the night before, but that's really it.

The funny thing about Yuji is like the baby to boy loser pipeline. He is actually so cringe fail boy loser embodiment. after Shibuya he looks like he just discovered Radiohead or some shit. He has the full on black hoodie outfit in like a few chapters which really is the cherry on top. He listens to Megan Thee stallion and Radiohead, he is nothing but eye bags and strong body odor.
