The Chic Girl Diet
a personal diet.
The chic girl diet isn't necessarily a diet; it's adapting a specific lifestyle to maximize my body's health. Changing eating habits that have negatively impacted me, helps me grow not only physically but mentally as well. This isn't a one-time thing. We're tricking our minds by consistently repeating the same routine a number of times until it becomes part of my body and minds' natural reflexes.
my progress so far from 68kg - 57kg in 4 weeks
Week 1
Started off small. Pushed back morning meals as it made me so nauseous to eat early in the morning. Opted for more liquids such as tea or others that had enough electrolytes to get me through the day. Did moderate exercise, walking or cycling whenever. Never restricted but instead began to limit my sugar intake.
Week 2
Started noticing small changes in my appearance already. Began a juice cleanse for 7 days to help my gut. Tried completely cutting out sugar. Did light exercise twice throughout the week (stretches, light yoga).
Week 3
I could not cut out sugar completely, so I found an amazing replacement where you can't taste the difference at all. I was able to remain sugar-free while still satisfying my sweet tooth. Began making my own juices or teas instead of drinking artificial drinks from the store. Sugar is out, and protein/fats are the new in. Began doing more intensive cardio and light strength training, focusing on my core strength (all home workouts).
Week 4
Noticed a huge change in my appearance. My stomach became flatter, and my legs started to tone up from the cycling. Found more recipes that catered to my goals and that I enjoy.
Week 5
Adapted the new routine. Began allowing myself guilty pleasures occasionally to prevent binge-eating habits. Limited processed foods, no sugar at all, and still have a satisfied sweet tooth.
The chic girl diet isn’t a one-size-fits-all plan, and it’s not about quick fixes. It’s about creating habits that stick by making consistent, realistic changes. This lifestyle is built on balance and discipline, not restriction or gimmicks.
