my desire to play guitar - originally sparked by the desire to play undertale music - has been reignited by the desire to play minecraft music um hell yeah time to redevelop these callouses

currently trying to teach my mum to play the cello and we're now at the point where she can start with easy open string pieces. the ones where the teacher usually plays the melody and the student plays a simple open string rhythm. naturally we do not have two celli lying around so cue me painstakingly teaching myself how to play the ode to joy on guitar. painstakingly because while i do have calluses on my left hand from playing the cello, the upper three nylon guitar strings are hell, my fingers are not used to that. hats off to every guitar player

i'm trying to learn jubilee line on guitar right now, and it's so rusty and there are some very obviously incorrect parts but like, i'm so happy with what i've been able to do so far

though it's taken literal months to get the little parts done that i have - even just finally getting the smallest bits done, or kind of close - it has been so so worth it

I was at the theatre yesterday in my leather coat off by the concessions and two tween girls standing not even four feet away from me started stage whispering and giggling ‘EDDIE MUNSON, EDDIE MUNSON’ so now I just have to kill myself 😍
