I don't know how to say this without coming off as delusional or arrogant but I've touched a guitar for the first time in my life recently and it is significantly less difficult to make various repetitive sounds that turn into patterns that sound like songs than I have been led to believe by guitar guys. like I get it now. you can be bad at the guitar for years and still sound enough like music to be tolerable in mixed company. I now understand bass player jokes. this is a very interesting discovery because my previous experiments with pianos and keyboards didn't give me the same impression that I could possibly achieve some sort of facility with the instrument at all. a grateful thank you to my friend @bonelady for the guitar, which is beautiful

✦゜ANSWERED: I wanna say Ren's hands are around 8.25 inches long! He's got piano fingers, so I don't really know how to measure his hand span accurately T_T So you'll unfortunately have to figure that out on your own (or come up with your own headcanon) sfasjhaj

My roommate is humming some melody to himself and I can hear him through the wall. I get to fall asleep to this safe, joyful, calm sound every night and in exchange, I wake him up with my own music.

He is better at reading Hebrew than I am, and we sit often together to read a page together, of the autobiography my grandmother sent me on Google docs. It is too much for me to read alone, but he sits and listens to me try, and he reads to me when I get tired.

We sit and study in the living room together, me doing my homework, him designing a synth for fun. He gifted me a shirt from his mother's charity and I wear it with pride. He taught me to cook a soup and we ate it together on the porch.

Sometimes, I get out of the shower, and hear him fiddling around on the piano in the living room. It's a wonderful thing.

There is no point to this post. No romance, I promise. I'm just soothed and calm and happy to have such a lovely roommate.
