Fatin Nur Husnain Binti Zakaria was a student at KDU University College. She is a graduate at KDU University College. She did her Bachelor of Eng (Hon) Electrical & Electronics. Fatin says the experience in KDU was remarkable and would like to thank KDU University College for giving her the opportunity to study there.
Tumblr media
“I'd spent four years of my life in KDU College, starting with the Foundation programme in March 2006. The environment in KDU had helped to nurture me to be the person I am today. I've built my confidence level, and leadership skills through the years here. I was an active member of the Engineering Society which I'd carried both the position of the Advertising Director and the Vice President of the society. I was also been given the opportunity to represent the school for ENIGMA Competition hosted by Multimedia University (MMU) on which I've obtain the 1st place for the individual category. Among the various participant universities and colleges were SEGi College, Monash University and University Malaya (UM)” says Fatin.
“For my final year project, I worked on the design of a grid tied photovoltaic system of KDU college. The cost of photovoltaic panels (solar panels) are known to be expensive. Hence, the main concept of the design is to produce a clean renewable energy which allows the consumers to gain financial benefit while helping the world to reduce gas emission. I'd worked with maintenance workers, photovoltaic sellers as well as the international community of renewable energy in the process to get the design done. All these experiences trained me to be more resourceful” says the graduate.
“In KDU, I'd learnt to adapt with new environment where there are differences in age, races and gender. The challenges were plenty and varied but it is these challenges which helped me be a stronger person. Currently, I'm working in Western Digital (M) Sdn Bhd as an Advance System Failure Analysis engineer. Back during the college days, we were always trained to be analytical and critical in our thinking. These traits are most essential in my present occupation” says Fatin.

Student Testimonial - City Uni Hong Kong
Stefan Gregor was a student at City University Hong Kong who pursued a semester there. He had a great time studying there and would like to share his experience about City University Hong Kong.
"Hong Kong completely exceeded my expectations! I had a great time exploring the country and an enjoyable semester at City University of Hong Kong” says Stefan.
Tumblr media
It all started in summer 2010; I arrived in Hong Kong and was overwhelmed with the kindness of the Hong Kong residents and impressed by the skyline of Hong Kong.
In the very beginning the Associate Dean of CityU held a speech for the new exchange students where she told us to "work hard and play hard" which became my slogan for the semester in Hong Kong.
I worked hard in lectures and for my projects and exams. I was rewarded for all my effort as I attained a high semester grade. The differences in organization and in the style of the lectures in Germany were a good experience for me. CityU is a more practical based learning, which gives students the opportunity to gain an insight into some of the challenges they may face in their future job. Future students will benefit from CityU's professors experience and the state-of-the-art facilities which will make your semester at CityU an enjoyable experience" says Stefan who completed a semester at City University Hong Kong.

INTI International University Student Testimonial
Tang Zhi Rou was a student of INTI International University who pursued the South Australian Matriculation (SAM) program. She had a wonderful time studying there and would like to share her experience about INTI International University.
Tumblr media
“The gap in the style of learning and syllabus between secondary school and South Australian Matriculation is huge, and I would like to thank INTI for making my transition from secondary school to college so smooth and seamless!” says Tang Zhi Rou who was a graduate of INTI University.
“SAM and SPM, despite sounding similar, is a different ballgame altogether. In SPM, students are disproportionately rewarded for rote learning and repetitious practice. SAM, however, places an emphasis on understanding and practical application.
Many of us had trouble adapting at first, but in INTI, we were guided by helpful lecturers who are always eager to help us with our studies. Many of us benefited from the program, and I am proud to say that INTI has helped me achieve my dream of furthering my studies to one of the top universities in the world” says Tang Zhi Rou who completed her SAM program.

Kaplan’s higher education divisions offer comprehensive full-time and part-time programmes, comprising diplomas, degrees and Masters programmes. Many diplomas lead to Bachelor degree programmes offered by renowned overseas universities. Kaplan covers a wide range of disciplines, including Accounting & Finance, Business & Management, Communications & Media, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Humanities & Social Sciences, Information Technology, and Science.>
Wondering what a member of Kaplan H.E Academy’s Alumni said? Effie is an international student from Indonesia who studied in Kaplan H.E Academy and has graduated with the following awards:
Diploma in Banking, Securities and Investment Management, Kaplan Higher Education Academy (2009)
Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Finance, University College Dublin, National University of Ireland in Dublin (2010)
Tumblr media
Let’s hear what jack said about Kaplan H.E Academy "I came to Singapore to study as it is safe, and my parents believe that Singapore is the best choice for me. It is also near my country, so my parents can come here anytime they like.
While I did consider other private institutions initially, I came to Kaplan Singapore as I feel it offers more specialized programmes. Kaplan’s programmes are more focused on relevant subjects, and also save us a lot of time. For example, I received my Diploma in Banking, Securities and Investment Management from KHEA before going on to my degree. The diploma modules were tough and not easy to pass – my classmates and I needed to work hard. But my friend who is already working said that the diploma programme was useful as it is accredited by the Chartered Institute for Securities &  Investment, a well-known professional body in the United Kingdom.
Having secured my diploma, I am now completing my Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University College Dublin (UCD). I made the decision to continue my studies at Kaplan Singapore as I knew UCD is recognized and the quality of education is high. The lecturers are professional and supportive, and while some may be tougher than others, all of them teach us with the ultimate aim of getting us to pass our subjects and do well. Thanks to my Kaplan experience, I have learnt many things I did not know previously. I hope to get good grades, as I would like to work in an international bank in Singapore after graduation.”

Dublin City University Student Testimonial
Have you heard about Dublin City University?
Dublin City University is one of universities in Ireland; located a short distance from Dublin city center. Dublin City University isn't only provide students with theory but also practical knowledge.
Wondering what's Dublin City University said about their program and life at DCU? Cellena is studying Bachelor in International Business and Japanese.
Tumblr media
Let's hear her experience studying at DCU "Hi, I’m Cellena. I’m from Sligo and I’m 20 years old. I came to DCU because it was the only university in Ireland that offered the course I wanted - International Business and Japanese. It’s a really interesting course, and even though Japanese is pretty tough, I love it. In a few months I’ll be heading to Tokyo for my year abroad - it’s such an amazing opportunity! I love DCU. It’s pretty small compared to UCD and Trinity and, before coming here, I thought I’d hate that. However, I’m so happy I didn't choose a larger university! There’s a real supportive and family-like atmosphere here. You can hardly walk from one class to another without bumping into someone you know. Everyone here is so friendly. I’m really involved in society life and especially the DCU LGBTA Society (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Straight Allies). I’m the Public Relations Officer, so I’m always busy making posters, working on online campaigns and raising the profile of the society. I met all of my best friends through it, and I love helping to provide a space where people can just be themselves. We do a lot of fun events from coffee mornings and games nights to speed befriending and nights out. We also do loads of inter-society events which means we are continuously meeting new people. There’s definitely something for everyone."
