11.What animal best represents your character?

Physically, baby bird. Fragile little baby bird taking its first flight.  Mentally, I am SO tempted to go for My InspirationsTM, and says she is the ~daughter of a wolf ~ except, mmh. Not really, right? Probably still some kind of bird then. I don’t knooow. 

18. How much do they water their wine?

Excellent question. I think she aims to be someone who is able to water their wine when the situations is needed. She’s done so a few times - rarely - in delicate situations. But by god when she does it you can taste that the water is bitter and/or unimpressed and/or condescending as well. 

In general, she will speak her mind, she will keep her opinion, and she will do whatever she pleases.

25. Can your character play an instrument and do they like doing it?

Frankly, I don’t think so. I was trying to find a reason while she would know a bit, and some reasons came up but they don’t feel natural, so i’m going to say no, no music. (mmh, or mayyybe some remnants of flute from long ago? maybe a lil bit of flute.)

38. Your favorite series?

Sigh. Once upon a time I would have had an easy answer for this. This feels like a copout for reasons of it's kind of sort of several series and also 40+ books but I'll go with Discworld by Terry Pratchett :]

73. A good book with an awful cover?

The way in which I don't remember covers of any books ever...The Skulduggery Pleasant books have overall kind of awful covers but also I don't know that I'd call them "good" except for the parts where they are Really Really good and also were totally formative to the kinds of characters and narratives I'm drawn to,

9. What gifts would they give the other party members? And what would they like to receive?

Mania loves giving gifts, but she doesn’t know what the others want yet. Right now it’d be something like this: 

Azelma: some of her own stuff, since Azelma apparently wanted that when she tried to rob Mania. Probably some trinket.

Iliana: wine and a friend to drink it with. 

Phryné: Phryné is a mystery and an enigma to Mania so this one’s particularly difficult. Probably it’s gonna be a particularly nice rock she just picked up. 

Kallistrate: what does Kallistrate want?? A dagger? A song? Someone to talk about time slipping away from you? Mania would probably try it all. 

Cleophé: So far Mania has clocked on to the fact that Cleophe does not want to get flirted with, so she may well try to get Cleophe to like her with gifts. She knows the fighting type like weapons and armour and songs of their valour, so that would be her first attempts. 

Mania herself loves receiving gifts, in particular tokens and memories. She’s been carrying a boar tusk for a long time just because it was killed for her. She likes gifts with symbolic significance best. 

15. What colours are associated with your character? 

Warm, glowing sunset colours. Saturated pinks and reds and oranges and definitely gold to reflect starlight. 

24. What familiar would your character pick and why? 

Hmmm… definitely something that’s a very social creature and can be nocturnal. It’s going to have to be a cat I think, open to be being petted and spoiled but fine with being forgotten about for a while. And pretty, of course.

seacaster manor: would you rather travel deep in the ocean or up in space?

Both of these things scare me but... up in space, there are too many things in the ocean

Oh boy you sure did open up a big can of worms right there. Let me tell you about Piper Artin. So basically she’s a librarian in a near-abandoned city who is researching ancient secrets about a royal family and the gods. She essentially keeps a bunch of lore and knows more than almost everyone else about the gods.

Thank you!! I’m definitely planning on going to workshops and lectures out of my course and generally just trying to have a good time. School is hard enough as it is not to have fun!

13. what do they dislike about themself? why?

I think Muriel wishes she were stonger, both physically and emotionally, but is not terribly hung up about it. She does get a bit angry at herself, however, when she feels she has failed her party.

14. what is something they love about themself?

She thinks she’s really good at flying. Is this true? No way of knowing. But she’s inmensely proud of herself.

1. How did you find out about the show? 

I first heard about it when someone I played DnD with in Summer 2018 made a child sorcerer character inspired by “a boy scout paladin on a podcast I listen to,” but that was all the context I had for it until I got involved in the Fantasy High fandom here on tumblr that fall and started to hear people talking about NADDPOD and how Emily’s chaotic bard energy shone through even in her druid character and then I knew I had to listen.

6. Favorite PC? 

first of all, how dare you make me pick between my children! that said, the answer is Hardwon. I fucking love that man, and I have ever since he started to bend the knee to the Barbarians and then immediately popped up and kneed him in the face. God. he’s so good-hearted and he loves his friends so unapologetically and he manages to be so dumb and yet so actually badass and brave at the same time. I adore him. 

16. A time you cried?

there are. several. I will give you the first one though, which was at the end of Episode 29 after we learned the truth about Marabelle, when Moonshine was holding her and pretending to be Jolene as she died and as Melora showed up. death as a passage to redemption and peace is one of the things that absolutely gets me, and the sorrow of Marabelle’s story mixed up with the joy of saving the Crick and Marabelle finally getting to be free was all just so much. I remember sitting in my room and being like “this was just something funny and fun to listen to, am I actually tearing up right now? oh, shit, this podcast like....has me.”

This is a hate crime. I don’t have a favorite PC I love them all with all my heart and they’re all so good and important (Moonshine)

1. What is your character’s favourite NPC? Which NPC do you wish they’d convinced to join the party?

I think Ezmeralda and Godfrey are everyone’s favourites because they are just entirely awesome. Emily thinks Izek has the potential to be a very nice young man, so he’s also her favourite.

The one NPC she’d really wished to join the party is Escher of course, because of soulmates singing out to each other across the void. But also Argynvast, because how cool would a dragon on our side be!

18. What is the thing that aggravates or worries them the most about the other party members?

I think their priorities are the most aggravating to Emily. They turn to fighting before they’ve even tried to be polite and they keep her from wandering among the graves to contemplate the lives of the past. Now of course, everyone’s priorities are very much aligned towards staying alive and killing Strahd, so she probably just worries that all of her friends have worrying tendencies towards self-sacrifice.

20. What would they change about themselves if they could?

I think she would make herself resistant to being charmed. But since Clara is here for that, I think she may choose to make herself less frightened. Ideally she’d be able to freeze people with one disapproving look. (She’s not exactly an achievable goals kinda gal…)

Sharknado is freaking ridiculous but if you want low budget shitty graphics and bad plot strung together with multiple b-list celebrity cameos like it's good for that i have a friend who hosts a party every time a new one comes out, and we just make fun of it The third one was so out there we would like sarcastically joke "oh look, now this is gonna happen" and then it would.
