Fairy Tail Headcanons

-Mystogan still has his guildmark. Even tho he's not technically a member anymore, he can't bring himself to get rid of it

-Natsu is often referred to as feral by his guildmates. He will bite and growl at you.

-In a similar branch, Bicklow has rabies. Laxus was introducing the Raijinshuu to a new guild member and gave brief descriptions like "this is Evergreen, she's our fairy. Freed is the brains. And Bicklow... he has rabies" and it just stuck. So now he's introduced to everyone like that

-Cana has started taking bets on who will be the next master. Makarov actually enjoys it and uses it to see who the rest of the guild thinks should be the new leader. Laxus currently has the most votes

-Instead of sending a text or announcing themselves in anyway, Fairy Tail members will often be found just hanging out in other guilds. Gray finishes a job near Lamia Scale and decides to take a lunch break in Lyon's room. Sting heads to the Sabertooth guild hall early one morning, Natsu is sleeping on a bench inside already.

With his pale skin, sharp and intense eyes, Isvanese features combined with his silver hair, it makes Lyon Vastia look very striking to other people.

Not that anyone would try to flirt with Lyon, unless they themselves have a few screws loose. There’s just something incredibly intimidating and cold about his good looks that makes most people stay away.

He does have his fair share of fans though. A majority of his fanbase are the citizens of Margaret, who idolised and obsessed over him, and much like their local guild, will not hesitate ‘to stab a bitch’ if they perceive anyone talking shit about Lyon or his team. The citizens of Margaret are as strange as their local guild; they are not turned off by Lyon’s intensity. In fact, they are frighteningly possessive of him. After all, Margaret belongs to Lyon Vastia, but he belongs to them as well.

Randomly started thinking about Fairy Tail after all this time and all of the things wrong with it and how all of the other guilds are just Fairy Tail with a different coat of paint and I'm two seconds away from writing self indulgent fix it fics because good lord

7 years. 7 long years had passed, so much pain had been caused by the disappearance of her friends, since he had disappeared. She hadn't had a chance to speak with him after he'd been exiled from the guild, and unfortunately, the last words they'd exchanged had been words of anger. It had started out as a small argument, but in just a few minutes it had grown into something much bigger.

Ever since that day, (y/n) had been replaying her own words over and over in her mind. She told herself that she could have understood his point of view better, that she shouldn't have been so mean or defensive, that she could have asked him to talk, to sit down, or at least to separate for a few minutes until he calmed down. (Y/n) now had to carry the guilt on her shoulders, now that he was gone, she would never have the chance to make amends.

She had needed to get as far away from the guild as possible, everything reminded her of Laxus, his place at the bar, the table where he usually sat with the Thunder God Tribe, or even just her house. His scent was still in the sheets, his clothes were still in the wardrobe. She'd never found the courage to take them off, she didn't want to lose him again. (Y/n) still had a small part of hope inside her that he wasn't dead after all, that he'd turn up on her doorstep and everything would go back to the way it was before. But she knew it was a lost cause, something she dreamt about every night.

And then one fine morning, Lamia Scale was there, saying that at last there might still be some realistic hope. The energy at the island hadn't completely disappeared, and was slowly building up again after all these years. (Y/n) had simply let her gaze wander to the horizon, but what if it wasn't true? Perhaps the magic really was returning to this place, but without giving their friends a chance of survival. The young woman had refused to go on an adventure with the others, but she could see that some of them were terribly happy, especially the members of Shadow Gear. She had no right to let her feelings get the better of her too, she had to keep a cold head, keep her hopes deep in her heart, and above all, not let anyone see it.

"-You can go home, it's possible they'll be back tomorrow, there's no real point in spending the night here. When they're back, don't worry, you'll know." Macao said softly, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"-I...I don't even know why I'm still here. Every time they leave, we end up disappointed... If you only knew how much I want it to be the right one, for them to suddenly walk through the door, for Gray to strip, for Natsu to start fighting him, for Erza to try and separate them so that her cake gets destroyed, and for her to finally join in the fight too. And Laxus... Even if he came back, could he come back to the guild? Would he want to talk to me..." She looked at the guild leader, before shaking her head. "-I'm just at my breaking point sometimes."

"-Go get some rest, you're back from a mission. But we're here, we can support you, okay? Whether it's tomorrow, or even for years, we're with you. One day we'll understand, one day I'm sure we'll find them." He nodded to her towards the door. "-I'll walk you out, Romeo's still outside, you know how he's been since..."

"-He lost Natsu, we all know how much he admires him. He's like me on this one, too much hope ends up hurting, he's protecting himself."

Macao and (y/n) left the guild, walking through the streets of Magnolia. The young woman looked around, trying to find Romeo, it was a way for her not to think about what was going to happen in the next few hours at least. Once at Magnolia South Park, (y/n) noticed Romeo sitting against the tree, looking around. He too didn't want to get his hopes up. Telling Macao that she could finish on her own, she left him to go and talk to his son.

The young woman arrived home a few minutes later, and sat down on her sofa, looking in front of her, where on the small table was a drawing of the Thunder God Tribe, a gift from Reader. 

The only thing she could do now was wait, and above all, hope to see her lifelong love alive again.

Hours had passed without any real news. (y/n) finally got up and stood in front of the window, trying to see someone from the guild approaching. But no one came. When there was a sudden knock on the door, she frowned, wondering who it could be, and went straight to open it.

Behind her was Bisca, a slight smile on her face. It was surprising, since she hadn't seen her coming from the guild, perhaps she came here from the boat?

"-I figured you'd be here." She smiled at him, "-Come on, let's get back to the guild."

"-If you're here it's to say something, no need to leave to do so."

"-I'm not saying anything until we get back to the guild. Take your jacket or don't, but I'm not waiting for you."

The woman leaves her house, letting (y/n) stand here for a few seconds, wondering what she should do. She knew that she would be disappointed at the end, that they didn’t find anyone. But… what if ? What if he has come back ? Having finally made her decision, she left her house, barely taking the time to lock her front door. Bisca hadn't waited for her, and had already started on her way to the guild. (Y/n) had to run to catch up with her, coming to her side without saying a word.

A lump of anxiety had filled her stomach, and she could feel it growing as they walked. 

After a few minutes, she stopped, hearing much more noise than usual coming from the guild. (Y/n) looked at Bisca, as if to ask if she was dreaming. So much noise could only mean one thing. A Fairy Tail party. A celebration. And so, the return of their companions, their friends, their family. The woman smiled gently at her, nodding. That was enough for (y/n) to start running, her heart beating so fast she could hear it in her ears. She didn't waste a second opening the door of the guild, discovering all those they had lost 7 years ago, all those they had mourned, cried.

And suddenly, in front of his eyes, was Natsu ruffling Romeo's hair, like a big brother would. Macao with Mirajane and Makarov chatting at the bar, probably making up for lost time. Erza with a slice of strawberry cake, while being with Alzack. Levy surrounded by Jet and Droy, crying non-stop as she tries to reassure them. Gildarts and Cana were at a table, a beer in front of each of them. Lisanna, Elfman, Lucy, Wendy, Gray, Juvia, Gajeel... Everyone was finally back.

She entered the room, attracting stares from her friends, but each of them said nothing - they knew who she was looking for. She too had the right to find him without being interrupted. Her gaze fell on his blond hair, and her eyes softened as tears quickly filled her eyes. Laxus turned around after Fried nudged him lightly, pointing to the young woman with a shake of his head.

Laxus rose from the bar, his gaze meeting the eyes of the woman he loved, the woman who had never really left his thoughts, the woman he had thought of directly when he woke up on this island. He was the first to move forward, realising that she must still be in a state of shock. 

When he reached her level, he looked her up and down, realising that he had not kept his promise to always be there for her. For years she had been alone, she had suffered, she had probably had to fight. And he had simply disappeared from the face of the earth thanks to the Fairy Sphere. It was their only means of survival, and yet he blamed himself. Of course, Acnologia's arrival was not his fault, or that of anyone else in the guild, but he regretted his past actions. He'd been so blinded by it that he'd forgotten that behind it all, once the doors were closed, there was someone who loved him.

His hand rose to rest tenderly on her cheek, never taking his eyes off her for a second. He was trying to communicate his endless love for her, words had never really been his forte, but at this moment, he promised himself he would make an effort. She deserved it, she deserved all the happiness in the world, and Laxus wanted to be part of her happiness, he wanted to make her smile every morning when he kissed her, when he told her he loved her.

“-Laxus…” She whispers in a trembling voice.

“-I’m here now my love, I will never leave you again. I swear.” He stroked her cheek with his thumb, smiling. “-I’m sorry for everything that happened in the past, I will make up to you, we will be happy if you still want us to be together.”

“-Of course I want us, I never even thought about leaving you. Now that you are here again, you are stuck with me.” She let out a small laugh, although you could hear the emotion in her voice.

The blond smiled at her tenderly, placing a soft kiss on the top of her head, holding her against him as a few tears escaped from her eyes. The guild members around them looked on in delight. Makarov, the master, well, the former master, was happy to see his grandson reunited with the woman who loved him. Of course, he still couldn't understand how Laxus could have strayed from the straight and narrow by having someone like (y/n) by his side, but the main thing was that now, he wasn't just interested in possessing power. 

Surprisingly, even Natsu hadn't said anything, he hadn't intervened to ask (y/n) to fight him, or Laxus. He'd realised that this wasn't the time, and it was one of the rare occasions when he finally understood the need not to be interrupted. Gray had done the same, not yet trying to provoke the pink-haired one, after all he could wait.

Once the reunion at the guild centre was over, (y/n) and Laxus headed towards the Thunder God Tribe to have a little more privacy. The young woman smiled at Freed, Bickslow and Evergreen; she'd had time to really get to know them since she was a child, but also in a different way as Laxus's girlfriend. Once the blond was seated, he pulled her closer to him, making her sit on his lap, putting a firm arm around her waist to hold her against his body.

“-You’re coming back to the guild right ?” She whispers to his only attention, looking at him expectantly.

“-I don’t know yet baby, for the moment I’m just happy to be here. I will speak to gramps later.”

“-Then you’re still living with me, I have your stuff in my closet.”

“-Of course, even if I didn’t want to, you would have kidnapped me, you little minx.”

The couple started to laugh, happy to finally be back together after so many years. She did not let him go, keeping her arms around him.

For the rest of the night, (y/n) stayed with Laxus, her face against his chest, finally complete again. The guild had slowly begun to empty, with those who had lodgings outside leaving to join him. The young woman couldn't help but feel sorry for her friends, as when they had disappeared, the guild had managed to pay some of the rent so that their debts weren't too high, but over the last 4 years, this had become totally impossible. Missions had become rarer and rarer, guide members were leaving, and the worst was during the Grand Magic Games. The guild's reputation had been destroyed in such a short space of time. 

Laxus drew her attention by gently kissing her cheek, making her lift her face towards him so that she could meet his gaze. There was so much love in his eyes that (y/n) thought she might start crying again just from that.

"I love you.” She said softly, placing a hand on his jaw. "And I missed you terribly."

"I love you too". He grabs her hand and places a kiss on it. "Let's go home, shall we? I need to be forgiven.”

There was something in his gaze that instantly lit a flame in (y/n). It was a look she could recognise at any moment, something she could never forget. And it told her that her night was not about to end. The woman agreed, rising first, followed by Laxus, who wasted no time in taking her hand and pulling her out of the guild.

The walk to their shared flat seemed to last an eternity, with Laxus's firm hand still in hers, leading the way at a quick pace. He didn't even take a second to look around, the only thing that mattered to him at the moment was (y/n). He had never felt the need to be close to her so strongly, the need to kiss her, to show her his love, to prove to her that he had come back and that he would never leave her alone again.

No sooner had they entered their flat than Laxus pushed her against the door, pressing his lips directly against hers in a passionate, fiery kiss. The couple knew that if they had kissed in the guild, they would have ended up putting on a show that their friends would not have wanted to see. And all that tension was being released as the two came to lose themselves in each other's arms. 

"-If you only knew how much I'd missed your lips." He said between kisses, his voice having suddenly become deeper, his hands had begun to venture down her body, reaching under her T-shirt to caress the soft skin of her stomach. "-I missed your body, your skin, your voice, everything about you."

"-Laxus..." She intervenes in a low voice, meeting his gaze. "-I need you so much, please." Her voice became more plaintive, almost begging.

“-I know baby, but you gotta wait.” He replied softly, continuing to kiss her.

They kissed again, Laxus gently running his tongue over her lips before nibbling her bottom lip. At his movement, (y/n) let out a plaintive moan. Between her thighs, she could already feel the moisture building up, and only the desire to see the blond man take care of it filled her mind. However, he seemed determined to discover her body again, as if it were their first time. (Y/n) came and put his arms around her shoulders, bringing him even closer to her. She could feel a lump forming against her, but knew better than to say anything to him, the tension had to be built up, they both had to get closer to the edge, the better they would fall.

The blonde only broke the kiss for a few seconds, just long enough to look at his girlfriend, her eyes slightly moist, filled with passion and desire. A desire that only he was capable of satisfying. This thought only excited him even more, and he came back to kiss her fiercely, removing his own jacket at the same time and letting it fall to their feet. (y/n)'s jacket joined it only moments later. 

Their body temperature seemed to have risen a hundred degrees in just a few minutes, and all it took was one kiss to fill them with excitement.

The couple began to explore each other's bodies over the top of their clothes, and Laxus was the first to put his hands under her top again to touch her body. Sensing (y/n)'s curves, he broke the kiss they were sharing, nibbling her neck to put a few love marks on it, leaving his mark, showing everyone that she was his, and his alone. 

“-Such a good girl for me, so sweet, so soft.” His deep voice sent shivers down (y/n)'s spine, making her close her eyes as she looked forward to the next step.

“-Please, please, I’ll be good for you, but please, just touch me already.”

He clicked his tongue lightly, shaking his head as he looked at her disapprovingly. Slowly, he raised a hand, catching her jaw.

"I taught you to be patient, have you forgotten everything already? It's all right, we'll start again from the beginning."

Laxus looked at her, placing a gentle kiss on her lips. He intended to take his time, of course, but he could only understand her desire, her needs. The blond was going to tease her, but in the end, she would be the one to have the last word.

(Y/n) smiled softly, she could feel that he wanted to touch her as much as she did, and yet he held back. The blond returned to kiss her neck just after he had removed her T-shirt, revealing her bra, and using one of his hands, he untied the last piece of clothing, leaving her breasts for him to see alone. Laxus turned his gaze to it, placing one of her breasts in his hand, taking her nipple between two fingers and beginning to touch it. As for the second, he took it into his mouth, sucking gently. The young woman quickly began to moan, throwing her head back against the front door.

Ft headcanons nobody wanted part 2

-natsu will occasionally get genuinely jealous over his friends owning appliances for heating. Why should they need those things when they have him, if they just call him over her do a way better job then any of those stupid gadgets. He finds out gray owns a hair dryer and immediately becomes a jealous ex girlfriend. He confronts Lucy in her apartment one night acting so serious he she doesn't even get mad that he broke in, then just goes "care to explain this?" And puts a lighter on the table.

- Wendy is very very quiet. Creepily so. Not elaborating but I think you can imagine the kinds of situations this leads to.

- Mira's eyes glow in the dark and it creeps everyone the fuck out

- erza has the worst hoarding problem. Her dorm room is entirely piled floor to ceiling with boxes of meticulously organized random items she refuses to throw out for some reason

young Mira: "alright this is ridiculous why do you even have this"

Young erza: "say what you want but when you need 746 packets of Mcnolias sweet and sour sauce and find your supply baron I'll be laughing"

- levy is one of the few members of the guild who actively sought it out to join. Before fairy tail she was an orphan and a student studying magic. She left to join fairy tail to learn more about magic in general from real world experience.

- laki will sometimes build creepily realistic wooden statues of her guild mates and leave them around in inconspicuous places so when you find them they scare the shit out of you. Sometimes she hides them too well and it takes years to discover them.

- Lucy has actually written several unpublished novels and the only other person who's ever seen them is levy. Lucy thinks their crap but levy carefully annotates every single one.

- laxus used to occasionally be forced to go on jobs with erza and Mira when they were young both to help and to make sure they didn't kill each other and he hated it.

- I think I might have said this before but I firmly believe levy, Lucy, freed and jellal later on all form a book club because they love reading, the problem is they all have vastly different tastes in book so they can never decide what to read each week and usually just end up playing Scrabble and talking shit about their various teammates

- this one's based on city hero but I personally believe erza and Erik find a shocking common ground over motorcycles. Erza likes vehicles in general and Erik took up bike racing as a hobby, since discovering this is the longest they've been able to be in the same room together without someone throwing a punch.

- Wendy visits lamia scale regularly still to hang out with chelia. she usually brings romeo and they all go out to do whatever dumb kid stuff they want. (Tbh I just like her having friends her own age)

-lucy sometimes randomly lets her rich girl's heritage show in random conversation and it's always jarring. You'll be having a normal chill convo with her and then she'll look you dead in the eyes and ask you what colour your personal carriage was growing up.

- Natsu is genuinely a really good cook he just has a terrible taste so nobody wants to eat his food. For reference he only ever cooks his food because he enjoys doing it to him it tastes fine either way.

- if you had asked the fairy tail guild who the scariest guild member was in early season 1 the answers would have been erza, guildarts, laxus etc all the usual suspects. Once season 2 starts however the answer is unanimous. It's juvia. Juvia is fucking terrifying when she gets mad. You don't realize how scary water can be until it's filling your lungs and as your vision blurs until all you can see is her merciless stare.

- Mira and freed can drink blood for demon reasons. gray can too after getting devil slayer but he thinks its gross. Surprisingly so can gajeel because of the high iron content.

- gray the type of guy who's bed has only the smallest thinnest blanket on his bed and usually it's on the ground cuz he gets too hot

- meanwhile erza is the type of girl to have so many pillows, blankets and plushies on her bed you wonder how she fucking sleeps in it. Mf has a NEST.

- Lucy isn't even surprised anymore when she finds people in her house, she doesn't know how they keep getting in and honestly she doesn't care anymore she's to tired to deal with it.

- freed plays a lot of really fucking weird instruments. Idk it just seems like something he would do.

- bixlow can speak most languages and it's always really surprising when he randomly says smth like "oh yea I can speak ancient nirvid no prob" like that's totally normal

- if laxus and freed ever did get together (in my heart it's cannon) evergreen and bixlow would be their biggest haters. Yea they love them and they're happy for them but also EW. GROSS. GET A ROOM.

You didn't specify a guild this time, so there's a world of possibilities. If you're not an independent mage, maybe you're from Blue Pegasus or Lamia Scale or Mermaid Heel, or even Quatro Cerberus if we want to make things funny. Regardless, you're probably on the stronger end of the wizards there.

...So you were probably the forward one in starting the relationship. Sometimes you think it might've been easier going for one of the more bombastic ones; definitely needed level 90 speech and charisma to pull this one off.

Of course, once conversation started to come easier between you two, you hit it off well. Rogue is easily in touch with his feminine side and doesn't get insecure very easily, he loves adorable things (like Frosch) and is more of a listener than a speaker. He's kind of an ideal boyfriend when you get right down to it.

His ability to sink into the shadows and pull anyone he likes with him means that it's never very difficult to get away from crowds or other hassles, nor difficult to find privacy.

Rogue is great for de-stressing from long or difficult days. You can hang off of him if you need to be held, or if you want solitude, you have it. He will always be able to figure out which brand of chocolate you're after when some fool has pissed you off one too many times that day.

The pregnancy was guaranteed to have been planned. Not only because Rogue is too cautious in general to have passed on a condom, but is also highkey very concerned about the effects on a child that could be had by his hybridized genes and dragonized cells. So that means your relationship was probably at least a few years long. Congrats on bagging the one!

You don't get this far without Rogue being willing to step up. The wedding is very small and quiet, and you end up wearing a pendant with jetblack dragon scales dangling from it.

God he looked great in a suit, though.

Do you do each other's hair? Of course.

Sex with Rogue is kind of like making love with a shadow. He's unusually hairless and smooth and he always seems to be able to move around and wiggle into the right positions almost like he's barely moving.

Natsu once asked her what air tasted like to her and she's been wracking her brain trying to describe it ever since. It does have specific tastes to her (Edolas' in particular was very distinctive) but it's not really something she can put into words.

Wendy's time in Aiya Village made her realize that she kind of liked being seen as a boy, at least sometimes. She isn't really sure why she feels that way, but sometimes when she's on solo jobs (And later during team missions when she's more confident about it), she'll complete them as Wendell. Carla doesn't quite understand it, but as long as Wendy isn't picking up any bad habits from Natsu, Gray, or the other guys in the guild, you won't see her judging.

Wendy was once convinced to join one of Fairy Tail's infamous brawls and ended up accidentally blowing four people through a wall. She won't admit it, but she kind of wants to do it again.

She still keeps up with everyone from Blue Mistral after the time skip. They mostly write to each other, but Emily will visit Magnolia from time to time.

She's been learning regular hand-to-hand from Erza for situations where she might not be able to use her magic. And while she doesn't have the same commanding presence as Erza, Gray and Natus sometimes feel a chill go down their spines when they see her sparring.

Wendy draws in her spare time! She tends to keep it to herself, but she'll show off her sketchbook if someone asks. It's full of everything from weird dreams she's had, still life sketches, to doodles of her guildmates.

A lot of the children in Magnolia love her. Once, she was walking by the park while some kids were struggling to get their kites in the air, so she created a small gust of wind to get them going. Now, there's a small army of kids with kites that hangs around outside the guild and ask for her.

Wendy has a handmade flag with Cait Shelter's guild mark hanging up in her room. After Fairy Tail disbanded, a flag with its mark joined the Cait Shelter one, and then a Lamia Scale flag joined them a year later. And while Wendy doesn't often lose her temper outside of a fight, Carla pities anybody dumb enough to damage them.

This girl can not get on a train without something happening. If it isn't something big like it getting robbed or her falling out of a hole in the coach made by Natsu and Gray, it's either getting delayed, she'll trip getting on board, or some other problem. Strangely, a lot of these stopped happening as much once she developed motion sickness. Carla and Chelia joke that it's the universe taking pity on her.

SABERTOOTH HEADCANONS TIME

Because they are my babies and they have so much unused potential:

I've seen multiple people saying Sabertooth is now a copy of Fairy Tail.

NOT WITH ME.

Instead, you can say : Sabertooth is now known for being an absurdly strong guild, with not very stable members, but very efficient when they have to punch sometime.

Like, there are resemblances with Fairy Tail. But they are worst. Not in a good way.

All and every important member would be in prison if they weren't in a guild.

When FT's guild brawls look like funny fights, Sabertooth's are straight up MMA/birman boxe/krav maga.

And the main 7 (Sting, Rogue, Yukino, Minerva, Orga, Rufus and Dobengal) are also severely traumatized.

They're def not humans anymore.

Rufus and Orga have been in a relationship since forever, but nobody noticed.

Rufus is the official librarian/teacher for the kids of the members of Sabertooth. He's surprisingly sweet with kids. But with adults, it's a completely different story.

Orga is not from Fiore. I have a solid backstory for him, but I'll talk abt it soon.

Yukino looks cute, but she is the most terrifying of them all.

She also has a very dark backstory.

Minerva is very friendly since she works on her issues, but she snaps very quickly.

Rogue and her are fighting for the title of second strongest mage of the guild.

This guy called Sting "master crybaby" because he cried ONE time. He's a bitch.

Dobengal goes by every pronoun.

They're also so discreet most of the time, nobody notices him. Gossip sessions are awesome.

Because he can't be as much on the field as he's like (master duties and all), Sting learned support and healing spells from Wendy.

As a result, he spends half his days at the infirmary healing the fuckers who tried to fight Yukino.

And his nights trying to save his members from jail. He's doing pretty good so far.

The council financed the pool in the HQ because they knew if the mages didn't fight in water, the infirmary would constantly be full.

Sting is very careful with who can be a rank S mage, so the exam is super hard : you have to defy and win against an actual rank S mage (the main 7). But nobody won.

There's also a secret exam which consists of stealing an S quest, completing it without any help and coming back alive, all without being caught. They all got caught.

Contrary to popular beliefs, Fairy Tail doesn't always win the GMG. Sabertooth are their main rivals, and Blue Pegasus and Mermaid Heels won a few times. The most surprising victory was Cuatro Cerberus'. But Lamia Scale never reached the first place.

In Fiore, official guilds can be separated in two categories : those who are loyal to the crown and those who are loyal to the Council. Sabertooth is part of the second category.

Summary: Y/n’s love obsessed Guildmate sets them up on a blind date, little did either one know that the date was Y/n’s childhood friend that they thought died ten years ago.

A/n: Hello all, this is my submission for the weekly prompt in the X reader community that i’m in here on tumblr, this week's prompt being ‘blind date’. I also took inspiration from the song ‘After All’ by Cher and Peter Cetera. This song was my parents' wedding song and it holds a special place in my heart so I recommend listening to it if you haven't heard it before. Anyway, i hope you enjoy and as always remember to hydrate or diedrate.

    When I was eight my village was attacked by a demon from the book of Zeref, that demon was Deliora. For the past ten years I believed that I was the only survivor of the attack. I had lost both my parents and all of my friends. After that day I made my way across Fiore and eventually learned plant magic from an elderly wizard. Having mastered the magic, I joined a wizard guild and made new friends, who eventually became like family to me. I specifically joined Lamia Scale. Everyone in the guild was quite the character, but that’s what made the guild fun. 

   A few weeks ago Lyon and a few others had been sent out on a joint mission with three other guilds. Upon their return, Sherry made it her mission to try and set me up with one of the wizards they had worked with.

   “Come on Y/n, you and him would be perfect for each other.” She said once again trying to convince me to meet this mysterious wizard. “Lyon, tell them. You know Gray better than anyone, wouldn’t Y/n and him be perfect together.”

    It was the first time I had heard the name of the poor wizard Sherry was trying to set me up with, and it caused me to freeze in my spot. I thought for a moment ignoring the two wizards as Lyon argued that he did not care about Sherry’s stupid plan. It had to just be a coincidence that his name was Gray, after all my childhood friend died the night Deliora attacked. There was no way it could be the same person. Unless he survived somehow? My train of thought was interrupted by Sherry turning her attention back to me.

    “Hey, Y/n, are you even listening to me?” She waved her hand in front of my face. “What are you thinking about that has you so spaced out?” She asked.

    Shaking my head I debated my answer. “Just thinking about an old friend.” I said with a sad smile. “But maybe you’re right I should give this Gray guy a chance.” I finished, earning a bright smile from the pinkette.

    “Great, I’ll send him a letter and set up a time for you guys to meet.” She said, failing to hold back a squeal.

     As Sherry ran off to set up this blind date, I looked over at Lyon. “So you know this Gray guy, what is he like?” I asked hoping the Ice wizard would have some answers for me.

    He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “He’s stubborn, but cares for his friends. Gray would risk his life for those he cares about.” Lyon went on to talk about how they had been taught Ice make magic by the same person and how after she died they stopped talking for a while. I just listened, wanting to learn what I could about this person I had agreed to go on a blind date with. After all Sherry didn’t really tell me much about him other than the fact that he was attractive and knew Lyon.

    Time skip

    It had been a few weeks since I agreed to this blind date, and Sherry just told me that my date agreed to it. She told me when and where to meet him and that’s how I ended up here. Standing in the doorway of a small restaurant in the heart of Magnolia, frozen in place. I had agreed to this thinking that it couldn’t hurt to make friends in other guilds. What I didn’t expect was to see my best friend who I thought had been dead for the last ten years sitting at a table clearly waiting for someone. Sure it has been ten years, but he looked almost the exact same, only he was taller and looked more mature. But what really told me it was him was the look of shock on his face when he made eye contact with me.

    After working through the first wave of shock, I moved closer to the table he was sitting at. “Hey, long time not see.” I said with a slight laugh, hoping to keep the mood light.

    He chuckled at my greeting. “Yeah, ten years is a pretty long time.” His voice was deeper but I could still recognize it from the time we played together as children. “So, you want to sit and we can catch up?” Gray asked, raising his brow, gesturing to the chair across from him.

    “Sounds good.” I answered while sitting down. 

    After ordering food, we sat and talked about everything that has happened over the last ten years. How after Ure sealed Deliora, he joined Fairy Tail; how I learned plant magic and joined Lamia Scale. Once our food was finished, we left the restaurant and continued catching up while walking around Magnolia.

    “So you’re telling me you reunited with Lyon, simply because Natsu was an idiot and stole an S-class job request?” I clarified, holding in a laugh.

    Gray nodded. “Yeah, Gramps sent me after him to try and stop him before Erza got back. But the stupid flame brain knocked me out and dragged me along.” He explained. “But I guess I should thank him, if he hadn’t I probably wouldn’t have been able to reunite with you.” The soft smile on Gray’s face made my heart swell.

   Returning the smile, I nodded. “Yeah I guess we both should thank him.” I responded before looking down at my feet. “You know, I really thought I lost you. That night after Deliora had moved on from the Village I looked for you, but all I found was the burning collapsed remains of your house. I suppose had I looked more I might have found you, but I just thought you were another one of the many people I lost that night.” I explained, fighting back tears.

   Gray stopped, grabbing my wrist and turning me to face him. “I thought I lost you as well. The reason Ure had to use Ice shell on Deliora is because I went after him. I was stupid and wanted to get revenge for all the people he took from me.” He began to explain. “That includes you. Sure we were only eight but I believed we would be together forever and in one night that dream was crushed. I lost you and I wanted revenge. But here you are, alive.” I could tell he was serious, after all Lyon had told me that Gray had been extremely closed off with his emotions. “I know we lost ten years but maybe we can try to build something new?” The question caught me off guard, well the question plus the cool hand that was resting on my cheek.

   I reached up resting my hand on his before nodding. “I would like that a lot.” I said with a bright smile. I wasn’t sure what would happen from here, but what I did know for sure was that Gray was going to be by my side through it all.

I don’t know how many people in the TWST community are also Fairy Tail fans BUT I have lots of thoughts so YEAH

LONG YAP SESSION UTC

This originally started because I was going through my old sketchbooks and was blasted with nostalgia at finding my very first oc WHICH SHE WAS A FAIRY TAIL OC. And since Fairy Tail was the first anime I ever watched and it’s still very much one of my fixations I wanted to drag in my TWST ocs! So this is just what their magic would be and what guild they would be in.

Starting with Agate because she’s the one I have the most ideas for. I was originally thinking of putting her in Blue Pegasus to keep her in the bar/lounge/club setting but then it smacked me in the face. Lamia Scale! Their guild mark is literally a mermaid too SO.

As for her magic it’s kinda obvious, she would absolutely be a 3rd generation water dragon slayer.

Now Blanche! I was first thinking she would be in Mermaid Heel, that’s the girls guild and she’s for the girls BUT family plays a big part in her story and lore so she is in Fairy Tail. I can see her chatting with Mirajane and Evergreen, while also looking out for the rowdier members of the guild (aka all of them).

For magic it’s pretty straightforward that she would use Plant magic.

Zagarius time! He’s the hardest to think stuff up for but I think I like what I have so far. He (and his siblings Makaria and Melinoe by extension @blood-red-hummingbee and @the-rini-rush) would originally be in a dark guild before realizing that isn’t what he wants to do. He doesn’t want to live like this anymore. So him and his siblings leave and eventually find themselves with Fairy Tail.

For magic I believe he would use a type of beast magic and or be a fire god slayer.

Now the best for last, Rory! Much like Agate I have a lot of thoughts for him, there’s a lot of possibilities here. Like Blanche and Zagger he was almost in Fairy Tail but then I remembered my favorite guild’s arc, Sabertooth. He would be a member of Sabertooth. The guild’s progression and growth could mirror Rory’s. He would be a runaway and would find it easy to slip into Sabertooth’s old “the strongest are the best” mindset that it used to have because that’s what he’s used to. He isn’t strong or weak, he blended in perfectly. Until the previous master was demoted. Then he didn’t have to blend in. He was safe. He could heal from the past.

For magic I couldn’t decide on one specific thing so I gave him two types. His dominant illusion magic and his more minor celestial spirit keys. There is a type of card magic but I always give him tarot card related stuff so I wanted to switch it up.

Of course!

People are so confused when they find out the two actually like each other. Everyone assumes they hate each other (because they literally say they hate each other) so when they find out the boys are actually besties its mind blowing

Lyon refers to Gray as his brother all the time. Gray doesn't do it as often, but will introduce Lyon as his brother

Because of the time they trashed Lamia Scale, the boys are not allowed in the guild hall together without supervision

They tell embarrassing childhood stories about each other (Lyon started it, but Gray is more brutal)

Gray literally threw Lyon off the guild's roof once? No one knows what happened. They just know that Lyon came flying past the windows screaming and Gray came down grinning like a manic

They are the type of siblings that will still be throwing down in the retirement home. Fighting to the death with their walkers and shit

Of course, the boys love each other deep down. But they would rather die than openly admit it to the other

Lyon sobs at Gray's wedding and makes the sappiest, drunkest speech. Gray bullies him about it for eternity

They are known as the Ice Make Brothers. Especially during the grand magic games. It seems they are always being paired together (also always fighting in the games)

They make sure to meet up every couple of months and catch up. It almost always ends in a fight but that's their love language and they always leave smiling

Gray flexes his new demon slayer magic on Lyon all the time. Lyon claims Gray's magic is stupid and he doesn't need anything other than ice make to kick his ass (Lyon is slightly jealous of it but he'll never admit it)
