This might be an unpopular opinion, but the break-up scene between Belle and Scrooge is stronger in the Muppet Christmas Carol without the 'When Love is Gone' song.

It works much better as a short, punchy emotional moment, directly contrasted with the hopeful party scene before, and left to sit in the quiet moments after.

The song drags on too long, and we just aren't invested enough in Belle or their relationship to carry a song like that

The song just also isn't very good

Holding out hope that the writing in veilguard will get more bearable but rook saying to lucanis that it's "not nice that Spite hurt him" and he "shouldn't accept that it’s fine bc it wouldn't be ok if a person did that" like.
