So if you guys have seen my post about what would have happened if Grizz had executed Dewey instead of Allie (and basically my theories that she had the real gun) then you might know that I decided to write a fic on it! I finally got some of it written so I thought I’d share a snippet for everyone especially @thegrizzsociety who asked me to tag them in it!!

The shots rang out and everything went silent for a small moment. Grizz felt the guilt setting in as his eyes opened to a sight that turned his stomach. Dewey’s head was still moving and there was no blood to be seen. As his ears stopped ringing and the world stopped spinning he could hear the other’s panic as well. They had missed. They needed to go again. He could feel the bile making its way up once more, but he swallowed it down. He tried to put a brave face on.

Gordie assured Allie that another shot could be taken so the Guard lined up once more. Grizz’s hands kept shaking, much more violent than they were before and he kept repeating to himself that he couldn’t do it before it finally slipped out for real. Grizz set the gun on the ground and backed up, apologizing an upwards of three times before Luke caught him by the shoulders, effectively stopping his motions and shoving backwards by a few steps.

“Get your shit together Grizz!” Luke spat, anger and terror present on the quarterback’s face, “We don’t have all fucking day and this doesn’t take it off of your hands. It’s what has to be done.”

“Yeah dude this little freak murdered Cassandra. It’s what he deserves!” Jason added though his expression seemed to convey that he’d rather not be doing this either.

Grizz paused for a moment, looking around at the others who he was joined by. He knew that Gordie planned for three shooters and if it had been Grizz’s gun loaded with the real bullets then Dewey wouldn’t meet his demise unless there was another person to step up. Gordie had already stated earlier that day that he couldn’t do it and Helena, who had the most experience with guns, was only there to support Luke and deliver Dewey’s prayers. Will could step up and take Grizz’s place but Grizz knew that Allie would put herself before Will if she saw the emotional toll it had taken on Grizz. So with no other choice in his head, Grizz nodded and wiped the tear off his face before he picked his gun back up and resumed his stance in the lineup once again.

This time though, when the countdown finished and the shots rang out, no other sounds came back. The world went quiet as Grizz looked ahead of himself and saw Dewey’s head hanging as a small trickle of blood spilled down the chair in front of his lap and onto the leaf-covered dirt below. Everyone around Grizz had turned away, refusing to look at the damage they had done and instead found stories on the ground to distract themselves as the stared at the leaves and tried to forget. But Grizz couldn’t look away. He had to know.

Stepping forward by around ten feet then coming around to face Dewey’s front, Grizz saw the horror he knew he’d find. At the top of Dewey’s head on the very right side, slightly matted by orange hair but still incredibly obvious, sat small hole that was draining thick, red blood. Grizz had seen enough episodes of CSI with his mother to know that if the bullet exited through the front right side of Dewey’s head, then the bullet came from the back left side of his head. The gun in the hands of the shooter on the very far left had the real bullets and thus shot and killed Cassandra’s murderer. Grizz was the far left shooter and he now knew that he was the shooter. He stumbled back to his original position quickly enough that the other’s hadn’t noticed him leave and this time, when he felt the bile rise again, he let it come and threw up until he had nothing else in his stomach.

That’s all I have so far but hopefully I can get some more up this weekend in a more official post. I’m titling it “The Executioner” for now but let me know if you have a suggested title! NSFW AU where Grizz is an up and coming mma fighter and Sam is his newly appointed personal physical therapist. Grizz is closeted due to contractual obligations where he must play the sexy and very straight athletic star because movie deals are coming in and modeling offers and sponsorship from high end brands and because his career is on the line even tho its 2019. Because he owes everything to his current and only ever girlfriend, the daughter of one of the shareholders for UFC, who discovered him at only 17. And because the risk of losing everything could affect his ailing father who just recently got put at the top of the waiting list for a new kidney.

Sam is also very good at his job, a well sought after PT, who has worked for many top mma fighters. He is also very openly gay and rumors would swirl of illicit affairs he’d have with his clients, tho both camps would be quick deny such salacious allegations. But again he was very good at his job so controversy was trumped by the benefits many athletes gained after working with him.

Grizz has heard of him but strayed away from all things media, focusing on important things like training hard to become and stay the best and living his lie so his father could get a new lease at life. After all his papa was his.

But things turn difficult once Sam walks through the gym doors one day. Blue eyes so clear they are almost iridescent and lips that have a perpetual pout Grizz can’t help but want to lick and bite, wondering how they’d look wrapped around his—-

And well Grizz knows he’s fucked when Sam starts introducing himself in a slightly slurred and muffled voice while moving hands with fingers that are sinfully long and delicate in movements akin to dancing, Grizz thinks. And its beautiful and he feels like crying for some reason, and Sam keeps his gaze steady on his lips and if he licks his own one more time Grizz will have to leave the room unless Sam wants to end up a moaning mess on the gym floor.

It’s not fair.

Any takers?? I might write it but that might also take fifty years later cuz i seem to only be able to bust out drabbles lmao and this i want to be like multi chapter and i also have limited knowledge on all things mma (but i can research i guess if need be for the better good of grizzam). I blame this inspo from currently watching old Pacquiao fights in prep for his up coming fight with Thurman and figured since Grizz so tall hes better suited for mma rather than boxing? but idek cuz i could be totally wrong. Anywhoo cue sexy trainingmoments...pining...would be cool if every other chapter switched povs...bloody lips and knuckles and Sam being an attentive nurse...bloody lip kisses cus im a freak..etc...heavy ass sexual tension that culminates into hot as fuck smutty goodness...etc

The guard being other fellow mma fighters in Grizz camp and Campbell (for story sake he’s as tall as grizz and as big) is the psychotic opponent who’s after Grizz title and growing empire..will do anything to bring him down even if it means playing dirty.
