i finished the first draft of the final chapter of dimtmoly!!!!!! im so happy ahhhhh. total word count rn for this fic is 91k holy shit. now all that’s left to do is some editing but oh boy, this was a big one and i’m very proud of it. anyways i can’t wait for you guys to see it. i hope it hasn’t been too long that you guys have forgotten all about it haha

I don’t think a lot of you guys know this but I’m also a video editor on Instagram (my user is brazilianchld and I’ve edited sm hallie lmao). Anyways my best friend Maria ( @focusonmyvoice ) made a hallie as laurie/amy photo edit and I used the screencaps to edit my fic because I was hella inspired by her amazing edit.

The quotes are only from the first three chapters (except for the intro) so if you’ve read the fic there are no major spoilers.

Two people finding love at all odds, whether it be fate or freewill, is exactly the reason that inspires Allie Pressman’s school to do their own take on the timeless story of Romeo and Juliet. With Harry Bingham as Romeo, they can’t go wrong.

Harry and Allie come from different worlds. They could never collide or they’ll come crashing down.

But, like all great love stories, this one starts with a play. And, like all great love stories, somebody is gonna have their heart broken. (Just for a moment.)

the writers could’ve developed his character sm more instead they chose to put basically all of his screen time to be pining over Kelly before then suddenly switching to Allie after like a 5 min conversation.

they gave him no personality and literally just slapped some labels on him hoping it would be enough, well it WASN’T. his character is the blandest ass character in the show and honestly i have no idea if they’re even gonna try and fix that in s2. the way they’re going...it’s not really likely

Honestly the most annoying thing about Will LeClair is that his character had the potential to be one of the best in the whole show but instead he’s incredibly boring.

He’s the only person in town who isn’t rich. He’s one of three black characters in the show. He’s the only one shown to have experience fending for himself (assuming none of the other characters had absent parents which is another underutilized theme) and not having everything done for him.

But instead the writers were like ‘lets make the most boring man in the world who literally can’t even tell that he likes Allie until someone else tells him’.
