Liam is two seconds away from just face diving straight into it and passing out when there’s a knock on his door. He gives the bed a longing look and then sighs heavily, trudging to the door…

“Thanks.” “Night Wolf-Bait.” “Yeah. Night.” The room is too quiet. It’s just him in here, his own breathing, and slow heartbeat.

“Why aren’t you angry?” “What will it accomplish?” They sit there in silence for hours, Theo dozing in and out of sleep. Liam watching over him. 

“Don’t be scared.” “I'm not scared.” “Yes you are.” Liam doesn’t know where he is, just knows the air here is frigid.

“You look like shit.” “I missed you.” “Yeah?” “Yeah.” “Well, I’m a very missable person.” “That’s not even a word.” “How do you know, you suck at crosswords.” The night doesn't seem so dark or quiet anymore.

“You really need some new shoes.” “I’ll add them to my shopping list.” “You do that.” “Don’t die on me, okay?” The world is dark around Liam, but warm—warmer than it’s been in months.

…He pulls it open and finds Theo standing on the other side.

Probably just me, but Athena's ending during the finale kinda gave me the vibe that the show was gonna send her to Minnesota to be near Bobby's grave.

We all know Jimmy would try to stop Tango from hurting anyone when he's upset, but we don't talk a lot about the reverse

C!Jimmy is so easily frustrated. And he's impulsive. He gets into fights over getting called a toy or whatever the latest joke-to-rile-up-Jimmy is.

I think Tango would calm him down. Not dismiss his feelings, but still convince him to let it go. 'You're not wrong but you'll only get hurt' sort of thing.

I just think they'd mellow each other out. Not quite an NaCl pairing, but similar concept

My last few tries on Helmetless Beast Out Gregar always felt off to me, so I wondered if I should've adjusted Hub's hair. All I really had to do was turn the "mane" into "spikes" to complete the head shape.

I can only draw it nicely a total of 2 times at once.

All that we really know about Kate Milligan is that she's a nurse, but that's really all I need to know to believe that if John Winchester slipped up once and let her know that the supernatural exists, she would flounder her way into it too.

All that we know about the Windom Ghoul case is that John worked with a local deputy to find the ghoul that was eating (presumably fresh) dead bodies. Which, is a choice, as the local deputy would only know about the deceased in relation to crime whereas a nurse would know a lot more dead folks. (And if I were a ghoul that was eating exclusively dead bodies, I'd probably want to impersonate a mortician for snacks on demand and the chance to skimp on the embalming fluid when I could, especially if I had a family to feed, and that mortician may work at a hospital....) John gets injured in a "hunting accident" and Kate is into goresex, allegedly, because they immediately fuck. And then Kate reaches out to John 12 years later so that Adam can meet his father, which just so happens to be the year after Sam goes to Stanford....

Incredibly unreliable narrative aside (down to John ripping out the two pages covering the ghoul case so we only have the word of two ghouls), John enjoys his suburban dream with Adam and Kate as a vacation from his Shit Life, but if Kate figured out that there's danger and monsters that she'd need to protect her son from, she would do her dimma-darndest. She'd buy holy water just to have on hand, figuring it's an antibacterial spray that affects all monsters. She'd lose hundreds of dollars to shady psychics. She'd go to New Orleans and barely see the sights but come home with bags of hoodoo workings of wildly varying degrees of authenticity, but most of it is Hilariously Bad.

It's just... Supernatural could have made Kate Milligan do anything. Be anyone. They just needed her to be a womb and a mother. But they made her a nurse.

And they clearly do not know any actual nurses who are single parents - especially night shift nurses - because that Kate Milligan has a better track on John Winchester than the FBI. She's listed as an emergency contact in the MedChart of all his aliases (which she got by going through his wallet and truck while he was asleep), and she reminds her son to wear his river-quartz bracelet when he leaves the house because the hippie at the local headshop that sells her incense and bad advice told her that it'll protect him from curses. (One of the few things that quartz does not do.)

on the topic of video essays, something i found so funny was how following the james somerton situation, suddenly SO MANY youtubers started putting a works cited/links to all of their sources in the video description + started adding the quoted text and citations on the screen ANY TIME they quoted or paraphrased something 😭
