Just me being increasingly dramatic with my hands while I give you 10 seconds of burn damage as I ignite your soul! (Sorry!) Implemented some slight changes to my Grieving Mother cosplay for Zenkaikon. Other than the new bracelets, I also wore one of my old wigs that I was going to retire because it was too messy, but it worked really well for the character. Then I wore a pair of grey contacts to match her eye color better, though it only made my eyes a few shades lighter in the right light.

Also for those who asked in my last GM post if the chimes on my bracelets jingled, they do! Whenever I got separated from my group, I would shake my wrists so that they would hear them and turn around. Happened frequently, actually!

Indeed I do! Since you didn't specify character or situation I decided to be a bit creative. I did limit the ones that are just funny noises but those last two made me laugh too hard to not take them. xD Also turns out Maneha has a whole set of very funny reactions like this one, I might do that one seperately some time.

Shared this with a friend of mine who recently lost her mother

Every now and then I come across a post like this one and if it stings and tugs and brings tears to my eyes, I think of you and your love for your mom, and of course, hers for you. There is not much we can do when it comes to grief, no one can take it away and they shouldn't either. Just like love, grief will carve its own path through us and leave us a different person.

So figured I'd share this one with you 💗

It's 152pm sunny out and the whole day to myself but I can't bring myself to get going bcuz I don't want to go on without you. They are wrapped around the Grieving Mother's wrists with tiny woven braids of hair of different colors, from white to black, brown to blonde. You feel as if you're noticing them for the first time.

I wasn't expecting to wear my Grieving Mother cosplay again, however I needed something casual and comfortable to wear for Zenkaikon and decided to wear it again. Did a little more digging in the in-game dialogue and remade/added a bracelet after I found a paragraph that detailed the colors of the strands. Very happy with how they turned out!

Dialogue I thought of due to craving more content of Thetis from lore Olympus being a loving mom.

"Why were you such an idiot?! Just for some boyfriend?! When you're already a father?!”

“I thought that having at least half of me would mean that you would know how to look after yourself, but no! His highness Achilles had to go die, because Achilles want glory, why are you...” the words were stuck in her throat, as she looked at him and only saw yet another shade, and not at the boy she remembered laughing as he learned how to ride.

“Why were you such a fool!?” she screamed, "Why the fuck did you have to go die to go "rescue" one of Zeus' idiotic bastards!? ”

People were looking at her, but she didn't gave a shit, why wasn't her son answering?!

But then he looked at her, grim yet with the same innocence as that day when he first was introduced to Minthe.

"I was a fool to go mother, I can only hope that you, father and my son continue to live good lives."

She wanted to slap him, she wanted to do that so much despite having never done so.

"You damn fool, " she let out, her eyes barely allowing her to see him, "how can you ask that?! You should have accepted to stay safe, why couldn't you be as selfish as me for once in your life?! Why couldn't you stay my little boy and stay safe? ”

I was inspired by how in the odyssey Achilles ask Odysseus about his family after he tell he'd rather have been a poor landless farmer alive then a king among the dead

My zodiac headcanons for the POE 1 companions

Aloth = such a Virgo in my eyes. He is such an earth sign. Moon sign likely Capricorn.

Grieving Mother = to me she is a Pisces. I think that she could be a triple Pisces.

Hiravias = Sagittarius with a Gemini moon. Fire grand trine.

Edér = another Pisces but with heavy earth placements. Pisces sun/Capricorn moon.

Sagani = an Aries with a Libra moon. Gemini rising but with substantial earth energy.

Pallegina = a Leo with her moon in a water sign. Venus in Virgo. Leo/Virgo energy is strong with her.

Kana = a Gemini, maybe with a Sagittarius moon. A good balance of earth and air energy but with little earth energy.

Durance = a Scorpio with a lot of fire placements. Scorpio sun/Sagittarius moon.

Devil of Caroc = an Aries with a Scorpio moon. Chaos gremlin energy like Hiravias, so she definitely has Gemini on her chart.

Zahua = an Aquarius, maybe even a triple Aquarius. Add Pisces to the mix, and you've got Zahua.

Maneha = a Taurus with an Aries moon. She probably has some Gemini placements.
