The Gridkids at the Olympics supporting Adelaide during her pair tennis matches

The camera manages to capture Gisela, Azalea, Cairo, Jules, Jacob and Raphael all sat at the court. They all had the Australian flags letting everyone know who they had the alliance with. Adelaide walks onto the court with your partner, everyone was excited for this pairing and with Addy in her favourite court. They were there with her throughout every stage, many times they held their breaths as it had gone to match point a few times. When they win the final and was going to get the Gold for the Olympics. Addy jumps around with her partner with them both crying, feeling on cloud nine. She runs over to her group, she gets embraced with Jules and Jacob with Raphael ruffling her head. Everyone could see that they all were on cloud nine for her, it was her childhood dream. They all posting videos and photos of her on top of the podium and how they kept crying with the biggest smile on her face.

I think some of this weird GridDad / GridKids crap also stems from the fact that some people are infantilizing grown men. There is nothing wrong with having friends, mentors, whatever relationship on the grid. But at some point fans have to realize these are grown men who should be more than capable of advocating for themselves. They don't need a "GridDad" to solve their problems for them. Idk there is just a lot wrong with the way people portray Sebastian (who isn't even "old" like wtf)
