Located just off Highway 51 in Pineville across from Carolina Place Mall will soon be a new park! Tentatively to be named Marsh Park, the land is essentially wetlands. The park's centerpiece will be the new Pineville stretch of Little Sugar Creek Greenway (which is currently under construction). Can't wait to check this place out upon completion! I'm not sure what's all growing here (other than lavender) because I can't remember what 'save the bee' plants I planted.⠀ ⠀ The lavender took over so I thought it killed everything. These boys. Kaiden has hit that stage where he's copying everything we do (and can actually be vocal about it...)⠀ ⠀ His newest thing is "Oh, shoot" and "Why?" Yup, we've hit the why stage. And it's way more challenging and draining than I thought it would be. Tbh, I didn't give it much thought at all. But here we are, and I'm trying to not lose my patience when he asks me what I'm doing and why for the 40th time in 2 minutes. Even though nothing. has. changed. Cue hair-pulling here. ⠀ ⠀ I keep trying to think of different ways to say the same thing, although he probably doesn't really care if I repeat myself over and over. Just me, or does it seem like the robins were very prolific this year? We seem to have a couple families in the backyard. They definitely sound the alarm when the cat is outside and enjoy sitting on the garage, the house, and the kids' play structure. Kaiden loves counting them and Eli enjoys trying to reach them.
