The Zetan Kingdoms

The short-bodied Grayliens lived in the polity of the Zetan Kingdoms. Despite being technologically advanced enough for space travel, they rarely leave their mountain-sized acropolises, let alone their super-large, terrestrial homeworld of Zetas. They've also created the Semi-Liquid Intelligent Mechanical Entity (S.L.I.M.E.), a mass of gray goo that depleted a majority of the planet's natural resources and now resides as a shimmering silver sea in a dry ocean basin of a newly barren planet. In this outbreak, the Zetan Kingdoms hollowed out entire mountain ranges to seek refuge. Before the Long War with the Dracosphere, they were in an era of relative peace.

We’ve moved! It was grueling! But this place rocks, despite the lack of care put into it since like. The 80s. Lol. I can sense many a DIY project in my future! A redesign of one of my old species, the Radien. I turned them from weird humanoid grayliens with feathers into actual Bird Aliens. Much happier with this new design for them.

You get a veteran's pass if you remember these guys, because they're about 7 years old now as of this redesign.

Just a thought (worldbuilding, not conspiracy theory) about gray aliens:

They are often depicted as nude and featureless, which made me think what could be the reason for both.

They are not the aliens themselves but instead something like a tenno warframe, a physical avatar under the control of the actual alien, mean to go around and do stuff in a potentially hazardous environment that is Earth.

The grayliens as a civilization evolved past the need for sexual reproduction or something. Maybe some eugenistic bullshit and all of them being government-mandated bottle-grown batches.

The grayliens are shapeshifting and only got genitalia during some sort of breeding season.

They simply have some weirder reproduction system or perhaps some kind of gender castes, like ants.
