This illustration was commissioned with the intention of depicting a representation of Saint George using the hatching technique, or engraving, as it is predominantly known.

The main references for this illustration were Victorian arts and paintings by the artist Gustave Doré.

Essa ilustração foi uma encomenda feita no intuito de ilustrar uma representação de São Jorge, utilizando a técnica de hachura, ou gravura, como é majoritariamente conhecida.

As principais referências para essa ilustração foram as artes vitorianas e pinturas feitas pelo artista Gustave Doré.
