Man I love posting about crossovers AAHHHHHHHH it’s so silly to think about my favorite fandoms and characters meeting each other!! I have no individual thoughts it’s just all crossovers LMAO I wonder if anyone else has this problem or is it just me 😭😭 I’m probably alone on this but I hope you all love my crossover thoughts and they fulfill the crossover thoughts in your head!!

fairly odd parents a new wish x gravity falls (wow I totally have never thought about this before it’s not like I made two fanfics on aO3 with these two fandoms meeting wow it’s so crazy and insane :000000) but..!! The kids get fairies :3

If we’re going off the book of bill, Dipper probably got Comso and Wanda when he overheard his parents arguing.

I imagine little dude was SO excited to tell Mabel but as soon as he found out from Jorgen that he wasn’t supposed to tell anyone he was probably DEVASTATED 😭😭 but Mabel being Mabel, she probably found out somehow anyways. He probably PLEADED and PLEADED to Jorgen before he was like, “ugh fine chill dude just don’t let anyone else find about them!!” And Dipper was chill with that. Might have to adjust the timeline and make dipper hear his parents arguing when he was 9-10 so it makes more sense for him to get Cosmo and Wanda at that time. They’re just both really good parental figures to Dipper and Mabel and care for them a lot!! <3

Him, Mabel, Cosmo and Wanda probably just went on silly little adventures together until the timeline hit the summer of Gravity Falls when they’re 12. It probably all acts out the same but they have Cosmo and Wanda to help them through it! They’re probably disguised as pins for his hats or vest. But they start to show their human forms as they spend time in Gravity falls without grunkle stan, Wendy, and soos.

Pacifica most likely gets Peri. I feel he’d get along with her better than Dev 😭 he’s either disguised as a purse, headband, or hired as a babysitter in human form. She either gets him early at 9-10 or right after Northwest Mansion Mystery.

When Ford comes along, it all plays out the same but he starts dectecting weird magical activity 🤨 Mabel and Dipper somehow and someway, stop him finding out about fairies but it’s really hard for these poor kids.

Gideon probably somehow found about the fairies and did what Dev did in the finale, met an anti fairy (probably either anti cosmo and anti Wanda or irep) took over fairy world and announced fairies exist to Gravity Falls. Stanley and Ford were shocked about this and even more shocked when Dipper and Mabel told them the truth. They accepted it and teamed up with Soos and Wendy to stop Gideon and they win!! Yay!!! :3 (As punishment, if we’re going with Gideon meeting Irep, Irep’s punishment is to co-parent Pacifica with Peri 😭😭) Dipper’s million wish was for him and his family and friends to keep their memories of fairies.

Peri probably met Dipper and Mabel as soon as he found about them after fairy college. He sees them as his little siblings! He just wants to be a good big brother for Timmy! (I have no idea if they meet him yet but it would probably just be a wholesome moment :D)

Dipper and the gang would find about Pacifica and Peri in some random episode event 😭

I think I covered everything?? Again it probably just plays out the same as the show but with fairies and maybe some extra silly episodes to learn more about fairy world!

Anti Dipper and Anti Pacifica!! Woah boy!! It’s probably the same as the Hazel episode where they both sign forms at fairy con and turn into fairies. Dipper’s anti fairy is basically just Bipper but less extreme. Pacifica’s anti fairy is shy, very reserved, easily spooked.

Some small headcanons I have is that their magic doesn’t work against Bill for some reason? And that as soon as Dipper got Comso and Wanda, he probably binge read Da Rules 😭 Dipper’s favorites are the pixies idk I think he’d like them

And that the barf fairies are definitely fairies going through magical backup. Jorgen just sent them to Gravity Falls because he didn’t want to deal with that 😭😭

Guys… what if gravity falls x fairly odd parents. Timmy (and maybe chloe? But I see her as already living in gravity falls) being sent to a shack to live with his weird aunt and uncle (cosmo and Wanda) and they get into some weird shit!! It wouldn’t be the exact gravity falls plot but I def think that peri would be stuck in a portal cause of his parents accidentally pushing him when they wanted to protect him IDK!! I just thought about it and needed to place it down before I forgot.

(it's also worth looking up what influenced the art styles of the show; you'd be surprised how many cartoons have little nods to Ratfink/Big Daddy Roth, sometimes in obvious ways, but also more subtly. the 2003 Teen Titans was influenced a bit by Gorillaz, with a lot of the concept art/style refined by Glen Murakami. anime like the original FLCL influenced certain aspects of Avatar the Last Airbender. for the animated Hellboy movies, they wanted the art to reflect the feel of the original comics by Mike Mignola, but with a unique look as well, and the artist Sean Galloway "Cheeks" used his style of dynamic shapes to combine it all. Shows like Fairly Odd Parents/Danny Phantom have similarities in common with Hanna-Barbera cartoons like the Flintstones and the Jetsons, but some of the things that made the shows have a defined look came from Bob Boyle, who also worked on Yin Yang Yo an Wow Wow Wuzby, which don't look much like Flinstones/Jetsons, but they DO look like FOP/DP. In the episodes of Gravity Falls "The Last Mabelcorn" and "Dungeons, Dungeons, and More Dungeons", there are character design homages to Rankin and Bass animated movies, "The Last Unicorn" and "The Hobbit"/"Return of the King", and a little bit of the Ralph Bakshi "Lord of the Rings" animated film as well. Gargoyles, the Swan Princess, and X-Men; Evolution all shared characters designs done by Steven E Gordon, and each of those have gone on to influence a variety of super hero/fantasy stories. Genndy Tartakovsky has mention his big cartoon influences were from Bob Clampett, Tex Avery, and Chuck Jones. sorry for such a long addition, but it's really cool when you notice little hints of multiple influences in an animated show or movie, and you can connect all the dots between what inspired people and who has worked together, etc~)

If I could give anyone a bit of advice about mimicking the style of your favorite show, it's that I highly recommend looking at & studying the background characters before you decide to pull traits from main characters

the powerpuff girls look different from the other children from pokey oaks kindergarten, dib and zim look different from other skool children or irken invaders, simpsons background characters are not allowed to have stuff like lisa and bart's hair or homer's 5-oclock shadow in normal circumstances

background characters are meant to be 1) numerous and 2) blend into the scenery, so they're a great way to see what the ppl making the show consider the average and consistent traits they want to repeat in order to fill a crowd or make new side characters

and then once you understand that, THEN you can go nuts and break those conventions, make your cool as hell ocs, and appreciate why the main characters stand out the way they do

Fairly oddparents a new wish x gravity falls au where Marcus gets an assignment or something from AJ to investigate the strange happenings at Gravity Falls. Marcus accepts and invites his family and they all go to gravity falls for the summer so he can investigate for the Galax Institute and they can have a little family summer vacation :3

It would take place after the season 1 finale so Antony knows about Cosmo and Wanda. Also ofc for this to make sense, Gravity Falls is in the same timeline!! I would say this takes place after Ford comes out of the portal. Marcus probably hangs out with Ford a LOT to learn more about Gravity Falls.

Mabel and Dipper probably meet them at the Mystery Shack while Hazel probably looks around. Dipper is like, “there’s something off about her..” and Mabel does not believe him because she believes Hazel is super sweet (she is) 😭 they probably have a sleepover together as soon as Mabel finds out about her. We get some silly interactions with Mabel and Hazel! Hazel does a wish at the sleepover which could end up badly and dipper and Antony come to save the day and save their sisters!! We could also get some dipper and Antony interactions as well.

Maybe after the sort the wish stuff out, dipper tells them about the weirdness of gravity falls and shows them the journal (imagine their, Cosmo, and Wanda’s reaction to barf fairies 😭💀) and then after that, all 4 of these siblings go on silly adventures together around Gravity Falls!!

I’d like to think they somehow found about Cosmo and Wanda. Mabel is super excited and thinks it’s so cool! Meanwhile Dipper is just in shock!! Bro asks them a million questions about fairy world, why are their different kinds of fairies, how does wishing work, etc.

Antony would either get along with Wendy and her friends, or just not hang out with them and find them too extreme. No in between. I could see him getting maybe?? along with Soos.

I feel a main plot point would either be Hazel’s parents or Stanley and Ford or just the mystery shack crew almost finding out about her fairies. Or even hazel or Antony getting possessed by Bill.
